To enhance the fuel economy of the certain series-parallel hybrid commercial vehicle, a control strategy for optimizing engine speed based on the overall system efficiency has been proposed. This strategy comprehensively considers factors such as engine fuel consumption, planetary gear set mechanical losses, power losses during motor generation/driving/idling, controller power losses, and the conversion relationship between mechanical and electrical energy. Mathematical and control models for the series-parallel hybrid powertrain system have been established, with the objective of maximizing powertrain efficiency. Through iterative analysis of vast amounts of data, optimal solutions for engine speed and torque have been obtained. Simulation results indicate that, compared to a speed control strategy based solely on optimizing engine efficiency, the proposed strategy for optimizing overall system efficiency reduces vehicle fuel consumption by 7.9% under cyclic operating conditions. Finally, a series-parallel hybrid powertrain test bench is set up to verify the effectiveness of the control strategy, and the optimization effect on fuel economy is found to be significant.

为提升某款混联式商用车的燃油经济性,提出了综合考虑发动机油耗、行星排机械损失、电机发电/驱动/空转的功率损失、控制器功率损失、机械能与电能换算关系等因素的系统综合效率最优的发动机转速控制策略。建立了混联式动力系统的数学模型和控制模型,并以动力系统效率最高为目标,通过大量数据迭代获得发动机转速和扭矩的最优解。仿真结果表明,与基于发动机效率最优的转速控制策略相比,动力系统综合效率最优的转速控制策略在循环工况下使整车油耗降低了7.9%,最后搭建混联式动力系统台架,验证了控制策略的有效性,且燃油经济性优化效果较为显著。

为提升某款混联式商用车的燃油经济性,提出了综合考虑发动机油耗、行星排机械损失、电机发电/驱动/空转的功率损失、控制器功率损失、机械能与电能换算关系等因素的系统综合效率最优的发动机转速控制策略。建立了混联式动力系统的数学模型和控制模型,并以动力系统效率最高为目标,通过大量数据迭代获得发动机转速和扭矩的最优解。仿真结果表明,与基于发动机效率最优的转速控制策略相比,动力系统综合效率最优的转速控制策略在循环工况下使整车油耗降低了7.9%,最后搭建混联式动力系统台架,验证了控制策略的有效性,且燃油经济性优化效果较为显著。

To enhance the fuel economy of the certain series-parallel hybrid commercial vehicle, a control strategy for optimizing engine speed based on the overall system efficiency has been proposed. This strategy comprehensively considers factors such as engine fuel consumption, planetary gear set mechanical losses, power losses during motor generation/driving/idling, controller power losses, and the conversion relationship between mechanical and electrical energy. Mathematical and control models for the series-parallel hybrid powertrain system have been established, with the objective of maximizing powertrain efficiency. Through iterative analysis of vast amounts of data, optimal solutions for engine speed and torque have been obtained. Simulation results indicate that, compared to a speed control strategy based solely on optimizing engine efficiency, the proposed strategy for optimizing overall system efficiency reduces vehicle fuel consumption by 7.9% under cyclic operating conditions. Finally, a series-parallel hybrid powertrain test bench is set up to verify the effectiveness of the control strategy, and the optimization effect on fuel economy is found to be significant.

针对混联式商用车动力系统燃油经济性提升,本文在发动机效率最优的控制策略基础上,提出一种基于混动系统各部件效率、机械损失、电能损失等综合效率最优的发动机转速控制策略。通过Python搭建动力系统模型,计算得到发动机转速在各工况下的最优解,基于Cruise和Simulink搭建整车动力性经济性模型及动力系统控制策略进行仿真分析,并通过试验台架验证仿真分析的准确性[1]
本文的研究对象是某款混联式商用车,其动力系统结构如图1所示[2]
调速电机MG1与太阳轮连接,用于控制发动机转速及起动发动机。驱动电机MG2与齿圈相连:对于单轴驱动车辆,电机MG2根据齿圈输出的机械功率与通过加速踏板开度计算出的需求功率的差值进行驱动或发电;对于多轴驱动车辆,电机MG2根据齿圈输出的机械功率及混联桥驱动力分配系数进行驱动或发电。发动机与行星架相连:当太阳轮正转时,发动机一部分功率通过齿圈输出到轮端,另一部分功率通过太阳轮驱动电机MG1发电,用于整车用电器及电机MG2驱动;当太阳轮反转时,动力系统处于功率循环状态,电机MG1和发动机同时驱动,通过齿圈输出,此时电机MG2从齿圈吸收机械功率发电,用于整车用电器及电机MG1驱动。该商用车的基本参数如表1所示。
行星排速比需要考虑车辆起步阶段的加速性能、发动机与电机MG1扭矩平衡、循环工况发动机工作点分布等综合因素。
为验证发动机转速控制策略对车辆燃油经济性的影响,建立了车辆纵向运动的数学模型。本文选择AVL Cruise软件作为车辆动力学仿真分析工具,建立混合动力系统模块、前桥模块、后桥模块、变速器控制模块、MATLAB接口等,并利用MATLAB DLL模块将混动系统控制策略嵌入整车仿真模型中,仿真模型如图2所示。
根据同类型车辆滑行试验数据,拟合行驶阻力与车速的二次曲线[3],车辆行驶阻力计算公式为:

式中:V为车速,Fr为整车行驶阻力,CaCbCc为整车行驶阻力系数。
在发动机模块输入外特性曲线及万有特性曲线等数据,发动机扭矩信号由发动机起动信号、负载信号、外特性参数共同控制,可表示为:

式中:Te为发动机输出扭矩,Tmax为发动机最大扭矩,αload为发动机负载信号,αss为发动机起动信号。
在电机模块输入电机类型、峰值转速、额定电压、最大放电电流、电机特性参数等数据。动力性计算时,电机负载信号为1,通过最大允许输入电流对电机扭矩进行控制;经济性计算时,电机负载信号通过控制策略计算后输入电机模块。
该动力系统控制策略分为5个工作模式[4],如表2所示。根据车速、加速踏板开度信号、整车需求功率(驱动功率、附件功率、制动功率、电池需求充放电功率等)、动力电池荷电状态(State of Charge,SOC)、发动机起动信号、挡位信号、换挡信号等参数确定下一时刻车辆所处模式。
起步阶段根据加速踏板开度、电池SOC、挡位信号、发动机起动信号等参数判断初始工作模式。当初始工作模式为纯电驱动时,电机MG2驱动车辆行驶,当车速、加速踏板开度、SOC中任意一项超过预设阈值,则启动电机MG1将发动机转速提升至怠速,发动机起动并进入混联驱动模式。在混联驱动模式下,当加速踏板开度、SOC中任意一项低于预设阈值时,发动机停机,电机MG1维持发动机当前转速一段时间后停机,进入纯电驱动模式。在行驶过程中,根据电池SOC进行电池的充电和放电控制,根据制动踏板信号对制动能量进行选择性回收。
在混联驱动系统中,发动机起到平衡整车能量需求的作用,维持动力电池SOC稳定在设定区间。由于行星排转的速特性可使发动机转速与车速解耦,发动机转速可在一定范围内自由选择。
在混联式动力系统中,相较于电机、功率分流器等的效率,发动机效率对工况点更为敏感,故将发动机转速控制在最优工作点是提升混联式动力系统经济性的有效方法。根据数据分析,在某些工况下,虽然发动机效率较高,但电机及能量传递损失功率较大,整车实际燃油效率较低,例如在高速匀速行驶工况下,齿圈转速较高,但整车需求机械输出功率较低,太阳轮反转, 电机MG1作为驱动电机输出机械功率,而该部分机械功率通过电机MG2转换成电能,形成了功率循环,且此时电机MG1的效率和行星排机械传递效率均较低[5],导致混动系统整体燃油经济较差。故本文提出基于动力系统效率最优的发动机转速控制策略,与发动机效率最优的控制策略进行对比验证。
根据发动机万有特性曲线获得每个功率点对应的最优发动机转速,利用这些工作点拟合获得发动机效率最优工作曲线,如图3所示。
根据整车需求功率计算得到发动机的期望输出功率,计算发动机目标转速Nereq,再通过MG1电机调速使发动机达到目标转速:

式中:Pe为发动机输出功率,f(Pe)为发动机最优工作曲线函数。
混联式动力系统的能量损失包括:发动机效率、行星排机械损失、电机发电/驱动/空转的功率损失、电机控制器功率损失、电网功率损失、多合一功率损失、动力电池充放电功率损失。
电机MG1控制发动机转速,又称调速电机,其扭矩计算公式为:

式中:Tm1 为电机MG1的扭矩,K为功率分流器速比,f1(Np,Ns,Nr)为行星架到太阳轮的机械传递效率函数,Np为行星架转速,Ns为太阳轮转速,Nr为齿圈转速。
电机MG2控制动力系统输出的扭矩与驾驶员请求的扭矩相等,其扭矩计算公式为:

式中:Tm2为电机MG2扭矩,Treq为齿圈需求输出扭矩,f2(Np,Ns,Nr)为行星架到齿圈的机械传递效率函数。
考虑到整车总质量及成本,混合动力汽车动力电池容量相对较小,在混合驱动行驶过程中,电池SOC维持动态平衡,电池动态充放电,其功率与电机和电器功率间存在如下关系:

式中:Pb为动力电池功率,Pm1为电机MG1输入的机械功率,Pm2为电机MG2输出的机械功率,Pap为电器功率,egrid为电网效率,ep为多合一效率,em1为电机MG1输出效率,em2为电机MG2输出效率。
动力电池充电和放电工况下,动力系统整体效率分别为:

式中:ηinpηout分别为电池充、放电时动力总成总传递效率,η1为电能转换为发动机输出机械能的效率,η2为电能转换为轮边输出机械能的效率,Preq为整车需求输出的机械功率, μe为发动机效率。
计算不同车速、加速踏板开度、发动机转速、发动机扭矩、电池充放电功率下动力系统的效率,确定最优解。
基于混联式动力系统效率最优的转速控制计算模型的循环计算量超亿次,主流的数据分析软件MATLAB、Excel等无法满足计算速度要求。本文选择Python作为构建动力系统数学模型的工具,使用Cython编写。
计算结果如图4所示,在齿圈转速较低时,发动机工况点维持在发动机最优工作点附近,说明此阶段发动机功率损失在总功率损失中占比较大。在齿圈转速较高的区间,通过控制发动机目标转速,使电机MG1转速维持在低速区间,减少功率循环对动力系统效率的影响。该控制策略在保证经济性最优的情况下,也保证了发动机目标转速变化梯度在合理范围内,防止发动机转速变化过快,降低系统控制难度。
计算加速踏板开度为100%时,不同车速及发动机转速工况下动力系统输出的驱动扭矩,确定发动机转速最优解如图5所示。
本文根据动力电池不同SOC进行动力性仿真计算,计算结果如表3所示。动力性评价指标包括最高车速、0~100 km/h加速时间、最大爬坡度。
表3分析可知,整车动力性的主要影响因素包括换挡时间、动力电池峰值放电功率、发动机最大扭矩。换挡时间受变速器结构及换挡点等因素影响,优化难度较大,而动力电池最大放电功率及发动机功率主要从成本和质量角度考虑。根据实际需求,可对电池最大放电功率及发动机功率进行调整。
按照GB/T 19754—2015《重型混合动力汽车能量消耗试验方法》[6]规定的循环工况及匀速行驶工况的百公里油耗作为两种控制策略对比的依据,计算结果如表4表5图6所示。根据仿真结果,混联式动力系统效率最优控制策略经济性更好,在低速低功率阶段,两种控制策略油耗差距很小,发动机效率直接决定动力系统的效率,在其他工况下,通过电机MG1的调速功能改变发动机转速,可提升系统整体效率。
基于本文控制逻辑及仿真分析结果搭建试验台架如图7所示,编写台架控制程序。表6所示为两种不同控制策略下的油耗结果。
考虑到行车过程中,混合动力系统需向用电器持续供电,本文试验中动力电池按照固定功率稳定充电后进行油耗测量。根据试验结果,基于混动系统效率最优控制策略可有效降低油耗3%~22%。
由仿真和台架试验的经济性结果分析可知,通过合理的控制策略优化,在发动机工作点效率较高的工况下,电机MG1发电功率接近用电器功率,电机MG2停机,类似于发动机直连驱动车辆行驶。发动机工作点效率较低的情况下,可利用电机MG1调速功能改变发动机工作点,或利用动力电池对能量的调节功能改变系统能量流向,提升系统效率。通过结果分析,控制策略对燃油经济性的影响主要有4个方面:发动机介入驱动的工作点、发动机转速控制策略、电池能量管理策略、能量回收策略。
针对混联式商用车,本文提出一种基于动力系统效率最优的发动机转速控制策略,仿真和试验验证结果表明,该控制策略能有效提升整车燃油经济性,在相同工况下,相较于发动机效率最优的控制策略,油耗可降低3%~22%。本文仅针对发动机控制策略进行研究,但此策略与电池能量管理策略密切相关联,后续将针对不同控制策略间的协调优化进行研究。
