In order to explore the influences of different cutting parameters on the cutting performance of the oscillating cutting disc, the Discrete Element Method was used to simulate the cutting process of the oscillating cutting disc, and the influences of eccentricity distance, oscillating frequency, feed rate and cutting depth on the cutting performance were studied. The results show that the average load of rock breaking with the oscillating cutting disc is obviously lower than that of the non-oscillating cutting disc. When the feed rate is 60 mm/s, 90 mm/s, 120 mm/s, 150 mm/s and 180 mm/s respectively, compared with the non-oscillating condition, the average load of the cutting disc under the oscillating condition is reduced by 37.37%, 44.19%, 57.47%, 60.32% and 61.25% respectively. Under the same condition, with the increase of eccentricity distance, the average load decreases firstly and then tends to be stable. With the increase of feed rate, the average load decreases gradually, and the maximum load increases gradually and then tends to be stable. When the feed rate is less than or equal to 90 mm/s, the average load increases with the increase of the oscillating frequency. When the feed rate is greater than 90 mm/s, the larger the oscillating frequency, the smaller the average load. When the cutting depth is 40 mm, the average load and the maximum load are the smallest. When the eccentricity distance, oscillating frequency, feed rate and cutting depth of the oscillating cutting disc are 3 mm, 60 Hz, 150 mm/s and 40 mm, the cutting performance is the best. The research results can provide a reference for the determination of the cutting parameters of the oscillating cutting disc.

为探究振荡截盘不同截割参数对截割性能的影响,采用离散单元法对振荡截盘的截割过程进行模拟,研究了偏心距、振荡频率、进给速度和截割深度对截割性能的影响。结果表明,相比于无振荡截盘破岩,振荡截盘破岩的平均载荷明显降低,进给速度分别为60 mm/s、90 mm/s、120 mm/s、150 mm/s、180 mm/s时,相比于无振荡工况,有振荡工况下的截盘平均载荷分别降低了37.37%、44.19%、57.47%、60.32%、61.25%。相同工况下,随着偏心距的增大,平均载荷先减小、后趋于稳定;随着进给速度的增大,平均载荷逐渐减小,最大载荷先逐渐增大、后趋于稳定;进给速度小于等于90 mm/s时,平均载荷随振荡频率的增大而增大,进给速度大于90 mm/s时,振荡频率越大,平均载荷越小;截割深度为40 mm时,平均载荷和最大载荷均最小。振荡截盘的偏心距、振荡频率、进给速度和截割深度为3 mm、60 Hz、150 mm/s、40 mm时,截割性能最优。研究结果可为振荡截盘截割参数的确定提供参考。

为探究振荡截盘不同截割参数对截割性能的影响,采用离散单元法对振荡截盘的截割过程进行模拟,研究了偏心距、振荡频率、进给速度和截割深度对截割性能的影响。结果表明,相比于无振荡截盘破岩,振荡截盘破岩的平均载荷明显降低,进给速度分别为60 mm/s、90 mm/s、120 mm/s、150 mm/s、180 mm/s时,相比于无振荡工况,有振荡工况下的截盘平均载荷分别降低了37.37%、44.19%、57.47%、60.32%、61.25%。相同工况下,随着偏心距的增大,平均载荷先减小、后趋于稳定;随着进给速度的增大,平均载荷逐渐减小,最大载荷先逐渐增大、后趋于稳定;进给速度小于等于90 mm/s时,平均载荷随振荡频率的增大而增大,进给速度大于90 mm/s时,振荡频率越大,平均载荷越小;截割深度为40 mm时,平均载荷和最大载荷均最小。振荡截盘的偏心距、振荡频率、进给速度和截割深度为3 mm、60 Hz、150 mm/s、40 mm时,截割性能最优。研究结果可为振荡截盘截割参数的确定提供参考。

In order to explore the influences of different cutting parameters on the cutting performance of the oscillating cutting disc, the Discrete Element Method was used to simulate the cutting process of the oscillating cutting disc, and the influences of eccentricity distance, oscillating frequency, feed rate and cutting depth on the cutting performance were studied. The results show that the average load of rock breaking with the oscillating cutting disc is obviously lower than that of the non-oscillating cutting disc. When the feed rate is 60 mm/s, 90 mm/s, 120 mm/s, 150 mm/s and 180 mm/s respectively, compared with the non-oscillating condition, the average load of the cutting disc under the oscillating condition is reduced by 37.37%, 44.19%, 57.47%, 60.32% and 61.25% respectively. Under the same condition, with the increase of eccentricity distance, the average load decreases firstly and then tends to be stable. With the increase of feed rate, the average load decreases gradually, and the maximum load increases gradually and then tends to be stable. When the feed rate is less than or equal to 90 mm/s, the average load increases with the increase of the oscillating frequency. When the feed rate is greater than 90 mm/s, the larger the oscillating frequency, the smaller the average load. When the cutting depth is 40 mm, the average load and the maximum load are the smallest. When the eccentricity distance, oscillating frequency, feed rate and cutting depth of the oscillating cutting disc are 3 mm, 60 Hz, 150 mm/s and 40 mm, the cutting performance is the best. The research results can provide a reference for the determination of the cutting parameters of the oscillating cutting disc.

目前,对于单轴抗压强度(Uniaxial Compressive Strength, UCS)超过150 MPa的硬岩,常采用隧道掘进机(Tunnel Boring Machine, TBM)与钻爆法进行开采,钻爆法效率低,安全性差,对围岩影响很大。而TBM在开采硬岩时又存在破岩效率低、刀具磨损快、转弯半径大等缺点,不能很好地满足绿色高效破岩的要求。振荡截盘破岩技术是目前很有前景的一种破岩技术,破岩时截盘在驱动与传动系统的作用下偏心转动,截盘高频冲击岩体,不断地进行挤压破碎作业,该技术可以有效地减轻截割时截盘所承受的载荷及能量消耗,并能够完成UCS超过250 MPa的硬岩破碎工作[1-4]
振荡截盘破岩机理、运动学模型和截割性能是备受关注的研究课题,其中,截割性能是振荡截盘高效破岩的关键,学者们对截盘截割性能展开了研究。XU等[5]通过评估岩石破碎后的粒度和截割力之间的关系,研究了截盘偏心距和进给速度对截割性能的影响。DEHKHODA等[6-8]开展了有关振荡截盘截割性能的试验,研究了截盘截割后角对截割性能的影响。JEONG等[9-11]利用振荡截盘实验台进行截割试验,研究了截盘偏心距、进给速度和截割深度对截割性能的影响。STOPKA等[12-14]基于离散单元法(Discrete Element Method, DEM)模拟了截盘截割岩石的过程,验证了DEM在模拟截盘截割岩石方面的可行性。ZHANG等[15-16]利用DEM建立了截盘与岩石相互作用的模型,研究了预制裂隙对截割性能的影响。目前,鲜有学者系统研究振荡截盘截割参数对截割性能的影响规律。
因此,本文采用 DEM对振荡截盘在不同偏心距、振荡频率、进给速度和截割深度下的截割过程进行模拟,以获得不同截割参数对截割性能的影响规律,进而得出较优的振荡截盘设计参数。
在对岩石进行离散元建模时,以岩石的法向刚度、切向刚度、法向强度、切向强度和黏结半径等5个细观力学参数建立岩石离散元模型,通过对岩石离散元模型进行单轴压缩,获得应力-应变曲线和弹性模量等宏观力学参数,与实际岩石力学参数进行对比,验证岩石离散元模型的准确性,进而进行后续截割过程模拟。
花岗岩单轴压缩离散元模型如图1所示。模型的直径为300 mm,高度为600 mm,其中,下平板固定不动,上平板以5 mm/s的速度匀速向下压缩。
本文以花岗岩为对象,构建单轴压缩岩石模型。花岗岩的UCS目标值为157 MPa[17],设置好试样两端的压板材质物理参数、岩石相关物理参数以及离散元模型中HMB模型的接触参数[18],具体见表1表2[1920]
花岗岩离散元模型应力–应变曲线如图2所示。由图2可知,花岗岩模型在应变为0.0202时被压碎,最终得到的UCS为158 MPa。
振荡截盘技术是通过在截盘上施加小幅度周期摆动实现的,截盘所在轴线简称为副轴,与主轴轴线存在几毫米的偏心距,因这一偏心运动的加入,对岩石形成循环破坏,使岩石发生疲劳开裂,以较低的截割力完成岩石截割,使岩石疲劳直到破坏,岩石中的疲劳现象有利于岩石在循环载荷作用下以较小的力和能量实现破碎[21]
图3为振荡截盘运动参数与截割示意。定义X方向为截盘截割方向,Y方向为截盘侧向,Z方向为截盘法向,图中e为截盘所在轴线(副轴)与主轴之间的偏心距,v表示截盘进给速度,f为振荡频率,d为截割深度。
根据振荡截盘技术原理,确定以偏心距、振荡频率、进给速度、截割深度为截割参数,研究振荡截盘不同截割参数对截割性能的影响。
构建长×宽×高为1 800 mm×1 800 mm×800 mm的岩石模型,导入截盘模型进行模拟,研究不同运动参数对截盘截割载荷的影响。工程离散元法(EDEM)模拟岩石截割模型如图4所示。
本文以花岗岩为例,采用 DEM对无振荡和有振荡工况下的截盘受力进行模拟,验证采用振荡截盘方法破岩的优势。无振荡和有振荡(偏心距3 mm、振荡频率60 Hz)工况下的黏结键分布如图5所示。图6为进给速度为150 mm/s时无振荡和有振荡工况下的最大载荷曲线。
图5可知,相比无振荡工况,有振荡工况相同时刻截盘进给方向前方颗粒黏结键受力情况明显改善。图6结果也可说明相比无振荡工况,有振荡工况可以明显改善截盘受力情况。
图7为无振荡和有振荡工况下的平均载荷曲线。由图7可知,在进给速度分别为60 mm/s、90 mm/s、120 mm/s、150 mm/s、180 mm/s时,相比无振荡工况,有振荡工况下的平均载荷分别降低了37.37%、44.19%、57.47%、60.32%、61.25%。根据以上结果足以证明在不同进给速度下,截盘平均载荷及最大载荷均显著降低,采用振荡截盘技术提高截割性能的优势得到验证。
偏心距影响截盘的旋转中心,由于截盘是偏离中心旋转的,它的运动将根据截盘中心和旋转点之间的距离而变化。本文开展了截盘偏心距分别为1 mm、1.5 mm、2 mm、2.5 mm、3 mm的模拟试验,在每种偏心距下设置60 mm/s、90 mm/s、120 mm/s、150 mm/s、180 mm/s等5种进给速度,截割深度设置为60 mm,振荡频率设置为60 Hz,不同偏心距模拟试验结果如图8所示。
通过分析可以发现,随着截盘偏心距的逐渐增大,平均载荷呈减小趋势,且逐渐趋于稳定。这是由于相同进给速度下,偏心距增大,截盘振荡幅度变大,运动范围变大,截盘可以接触更多的岩石,受到循环破坏作用的岩石面积更大,从而产生更多的裂纹,岩石更容易被破坏,截盘的平均载荷减小。该变化趋势再次验证了振荡截盘的优势。
根据上述分析结果可得3组截割偏心距和进给速度的推荐参数,分别为3 mm和120 mm/s、3 mm和150 mm/s、2.5 mm和180 mm/s,根据载荷波动情况可得3 mm和150 mm/s为最佳推荐参数。同时截盘最大载荷在进给速度为60 mm/s、90 mm/s、150 mm/s时逐渐减小,而在120 mm/s、180 mm/s时呈增大趋势,载荷波动趋于稳定,模拟结果可为特定工况截割参数的确定提供参考。
本文开展了截盘振荡频率分别为30 Hz、45 Hz、60 Hz的模拟试验,在每种振荡频率下设置60 mm/s、90 mm/s、120 mm/s、150 mm/s、180 mm/s等5种进给速度,截割深度设置为60 mm,偏心距设置为3 mm,不同振荡频率模拟试验结果如图9所示。
通过分析可以发现,在进给速度为60 mm/s、90 mm/s时,随着振荡频率的增大,截盘平均载荷呈增大趋势,在进给速度为120 mm/s、150 mm/s、180 mm/s时,随着振荡频率的增大,平均载荷呈减小趋势。不同的进给速度下,截盘最大载荷随着振荡频率的增大而增大。随着振荡频率的不断增大,载荷波动趋于稳定。振荡频率越快,单位时间内岩石冲击次数越多,截盘角速度越快,单次冲击对岩石造成的损伤越大,使得单位时间内岩石累计损伤越大,岩石更容易被破坏,从而导致截盘的平均载荷降低,而截盘作用在岩石上的力更大的同时也必然使截盘受到更大的反作用力,最大载荷也随之增大。而模拟结果显示,当进给速度小于等于90 mm/s时,截盘平均载荷随着振荡频率的增大而增大,这可为实际工程应用提供参考,即进给速度小于等于90 mm/s时应选择小振荡频率,进给速度大于90 mm/s应选择大振荡频率。同时可以看出,相同振荡频率下,随着进给速度的增加,最大载荷也均呈增大趋势,这同样是由于随着进给速度的增加,岩石受到的冲击力越大,截盘的最大载荷也越大。
根据结果可得3组截盘振荡频率和进给速度的推荐参数,分别为30 Hz和60 mm/s、60 Hz和120 mm/s、60 Hz和150 mm/s。其中,60 Hz和150 mm/s为最佳推荐参数。
进给速度对截割力有显著影响,本文开展了截盘进给速度分别为60 mm/s、90 mm/s、120 mm/s、150 mm/s、180 mm/s的模拟试验,在每种进给速度下设置1 mm、1.5 mm、2 mm、2.5 mm、3 mm等5种偏心距,截割深度设置为60 mm,振荡频率设置为60 Hz,不同进给速度模拟试验结果如图10所示。
通过分析可以发现,随着进给速度的不断增大,平均载荷呈减小趋势,而最大载荷先增大,当进给速度达到90 mm/s后,最大载荷趋于稳定,载荷波动的变化趋势与最大载荷的变化趋势一致,即载荷波动先增大、后趋于稳定。进给速度越大,截盘的动能也随之增大,单次冲击岩石时对岩石造成的损伤也越大,岩石累积损伤越大,岩石更容易被破坏,使得截盘受到的平均载荷变小。而最大载荷随之增大的原因是截盘作用在岩石上的力更大的同时使截盘受到更大的反作用力,这与3.2节中的分析相互应证。
根据结果可得3组截盘进给速度和偏心距的推荐参数,分别为120 mm/s和3 mm、150 mm/s和3 mm、180 mm/s和2.5 mm,根据载荷波动情况,3 mm和150 mm/s为最佳推荐参数。
本文开展了截盘截割深度分别为20 mm、40 mm、60 mm、80 mm、100 mm的模拟试验,在每种截割深度下设置60 mm/s、120 mm/s、180 mm/s等3种进给速度,偏心距设置为3 mm,振荡频率设置为60 Hz,不同截割深度模拟试验结果如图11所示。
通过分析可以发现,在进给速度分别为60 mm/s、120 mm/s、180 mm/s时,不同截割深度下,截盘所受到的平均载荷的变化趋势大致相同,即截割深度由20 mm增大至40 mm时,平均载荷呈减小趋势,由40 mm逐渐增大直到80 mm时,平均载荷呈增大趋势,由80 mm增大至100 mm时,平均载荷呈减小趋势。截盘所受到的最大载荷先减小,截割深度达到40 mm后呈增大趋势,达到80 mm后趋于稳定,而截割深度为40 mm时,平均载荷和最大载荷均最小。随着截割深度的增加,载荷波动总体呈上升趋势,截盘与岩石接触面积也会随之增大,岩石受到振荡冲击作用的面积也随之增大,截盘的最大载荷也应呈增大趋势,根据模拟结果发现,并非截割深度越大,截割性能越好,这是由于随着截割深度的增加,相同时间所需截去的岩石体积增加,所需作用在岩石上的能量随之增大。本文的模拟结果可为截割深度的选择提供参考,即模拟结果表明,截割深度40 mm为最优截割深度。
(1)本文以岩石UCS为157 MPa为目标,构建花岗岩单轴压缩模型。模拟结果表明,本文所设置的HMB模型参数、压板和颗粒相关参数均可达到目标,证明了建模方法的有效性。
(2)采用振荡截盘技术可以提高截割性能,相同工况下,与无振荡工况相比,有振荡工况下的平均载荷及最大载荷均显著降低,进给速度分别为60 mm/s、90 mm/s、120 mm/s、150 mm/s、180 mm/s时,相比无振荡工况,有振荡工况下的截盘平均载荷分别降低了37.37%、44.19%、57.47%、60.32%、61.25%。
(3)相同工况下,随着偏心距的增大,平均载荷先减小、后趋于稳定;随着进给速度的增大,平均载荷逐渐减小,最大载荷先逐渐增大、后趋于稳定;进给速度小于等于90 mm/s时,平均载荷随振荡频率增大而增大,进给速度大于90 mm/s时,振荡频率越大,平均载荷越小;截割深度为40 mm时,截盘平均载荷和最大载荷均最小。
(4)振荡截盘的偏心距、振荡频率、进给速度和截割深度为3 mm、60 Hz、150 mm/s、40 mm时,截割性能最优。
