Urban roads are recognized to facilitate daily human activities while simultaneously being observed to shape behavioral patterns. Currently, most studies simply analyze the relationship between roads and crime distribution as part of the built environment, and few studies have thoroughly explored the impact of different structural attributes of roads on crime. In order to further explore this impact mechanism and provide guidance for the optimization of police resource allocation by front-line police departments. The operational mechanisms were investigated by which geometric and topological road attributes influence theft distribution across varied transportation modalities. Using crime data from YC District, JB City, spatial crime hotspots and high-risk road segments were initially identified through geospatial analysis. Next, the road structure was systematically decomposed into two distinct dimensions: geometric attributes and topological properties. A space syntax segment model was created to quantitatively assess geometric characteristics and traffic modality-specific topological configurations. Finally, Statistical relationships were investigated using zero-inflated negative binomial regression complemented by multiple linear regression modeling. Research has found that theft incidence is demonstrated to be positively associated with segment length, angular curvature metrics, and branch road density within the network. Elevated crime probabilities are observed in extended roadway segments exhibiting complex geometric configurations and regions characterized by dense branch road networks. The closeness and betweenness of the road's topological structure exert varying significant effects on theft crime across different traffic modes. Specifically, in pedestrian traffic modes, a significant negative correlation is observed between road closeness and betweenness and the occurrence of theft crime. In bicycle traffic modes, road closeness and betweenness are found to have a positive effect on theft crime. In electric vehicle and motor vehicle traffic modes, road closeness have a positive effect on theft crime, while in electric vehicle traffic mode, betweenness was found to have a negative effect on theft crime. These findings contribute novel insights to environmental criminology theory while offering empirically grounded recommendations for strategic police deployment and urban security management.

城市道路承载了人们的日常活动,也对犯罪人的行为具有塑造作用。当前大部分研究仅将道路作为建成环境的部分简单分析其与犯罪分布的关系,鲜有研究细致探究道路不同结构属性对犯罪的影响,为深入挖掘这一影响机制,为一线警务部门优化警务资源配置提供指导依据,以JB市YC区为例,首先识别盗窃犯罪的空间分布热点及犯罪热点路段;其次将道路结构分为几何结构和拓扑结构两部分,构建空间句法道路线段模型,研究了道路几何结构及不同交通模式下道路拓扑结构;最后采用零膨胀负二项回归和多元线性回归研究道路结构特征对于盗窃犯罪的影响。研究发现:道路的长度、角曲率、路网支路密度对盗窃犯罪具有正向影响,越长越曲折的路段和支路密度更高的区域发生盗窃犯罪的可能性更高;道路拓扑结构中的接近度和穿行度在不同的交通方式下对盗窃犯罪呈现不同显著影响;步行交通模式道路接近度、穿行度对盗窃犯罪的发生具有显著的负相关作用;自行车交通模式下,道路接近度、穿行度对盗窃犯罪具有正向作用;电动车和机动车交通模式下,道路的接近度对盗窃犯罪均有正向影响,电动车交通模式下,穿行度对盗窃犯罪有负向影响。该研究丰富了犯罪地理学领域对盗窃犯罪的研究成果,为一线警务机关理解犯罪影响机制、优化警务资源分布、维护社会稳定提供理论依据。

城市道路承载了人们的日常活动,也对犯罪人的行为具有塑造作用。当前大部分研究仅将道路作为建成环境的部分简单分析其与犯罪分布的关系,鲜有研究细致探究道路不同结构属性对犯罪的影响,为深入挖掘这一影响机制,为一线警务部门优化警务资源配置提供指导依据,以JB市YC区为例,首先识别盗窃犯罪的空间分布热点及犯罪热点路段;其次将道路结构分为几何结构和拓扑结构两部分,构建空间句法道路线段模型,研究了道路几何结构及不同交通模式下道路拓扑结构;最后采用零膨胀负二项回归和多元线性回归研究道路结构特征对于盗窃犯罪的影响。研究发现:道路的长度、角曲率、路网支路密度对盗窃犯罪具有正向影响,越长越曲折的路段和支路密度更高的区域发生盗窃犯罪的可能性更高;道路拓扑结构中的接近度和穿行度在不同的交通方式下对盗窃犯罪呈现不同显著影响;步行交通模式道路接近度、穿行度对盗窃犯罪的发生具有显著的负相关作用;自行车交通模式下,道路接近度、穿行度对盗窃犯罪具有正向作用;电动车和机动车交通模式下,道路的接近度对盗窃犯罪均有正向影响,电动车交通模式下,穿行度对盗窃犯罪有负向影响。该研究丰富了犯罪地理学领域对盗窃犯罪的研究成果,为一线警务机关理解犯罪影响机制、优化警务资源分布、维护社会稳定提供理论依据。

Urban roads are recognized to facilitate daily human activities while simultaneously being observed to shape behavioral patterns. Currently, most studies simply analyze the relationship between roads and crime distribution as part of the built environment, and few studies have thoroughly explored the impact of different structural attributes of roads on crime. In order to further explore this impact mechanism and provide guidance for the optimization of police resource allocation by front-line police departments. The operational mechanisms were investigated by which geometric and topological road attributes influence theft distribution across varied transportation modalities. Using crime data from YC District, JB City, spatial crime hotspots and high-risk road segments were initially identified through geospatial analysis. Next, the road structure was systematically decomposed into two distinct dimensions: geometric attributes and topological properties. A space syntax segment model was created to quantitatively assess geometric characteristics and traffic modality-specific topological configurations. Finally, Statistical relationships were investigated using zero-inflated negative binomial regression complemented by multiple linear regression modeling. Research has found that theft incidence is demonstrated to be positively associated with segment length, angular curvature metrics, and branch road density within the network. Elevated crime probabilities are observed in extended roadway segments exhibiting complex geometric configurations and regions characterized by dense branch road networks. The closeness and betweenness of the road's topological structure exert varying significant effects on theft crime across different traffic modes. Specifically, in pedestrian traffic modes, a significant negative correlation is observed between road closeness and betweenness and the occurrence of theft crime. In bicycle traffic modes, road closeness and betweenness are found to have a positive effect on theft crime. In electric vehicle and motor vehicle traffic modes, road closeness have a positive effect on theft crime, while in electric vehicle traffic mode, betweenness was found to have a negative effect on theft crime. These findings contribute novel insights to environmental criminology theory while offering empirically grounded recommendations for strategic police deployment and urban security management.

随着中国经济社会的发展和城镇化的推进,犯罪问题日益成为社会关注与治理的重点议题,对公共安全、社会稳定以及居民生活安全感构成了显著挑战。党的二十大报告将提升人民群众的“安全感”作为保障和改善民生的重要目标之一,而盗窃犯罪是与城市居民日常活动关系最密切的犯罪类型之一,在中国刑事案件中被追诉的数量长期位居榜首,与城市居民的安全感息息相关。
盗窃犯罪在空间上遵循一定的分布规律,当前犯罪研究主要以行政区划、派出所辖区、网格等面状区域或者犯罪发生地点位作为研究单元,探讨盗窃犯罪空间分布形态及其影响因素[1-5]。城市路网是城市范围内不同功能、等级、区位的道路,以一定的密度和适当形式组成的网络结构[6]。作为城市的基础骨架,道路不仅决定行人和车辆的移动模式,为犯罪提供了存在大量潜在受害目标的公共空间,对犯罪的布局具有深远影响,因此研究道路与犯罪的关联是有意义的。陈鹏等[7]、郑滋椀等[8]、张勃等[9]打破原有犯罪地理研究以地点和面状区域为研究单元的惯例,以路段为研究单元,研究犯罪在道路网络上的聚集特征;Wu等[10]提出一种犯罪热点道路的检测方法,从而帮助提高警务资源的配置效率。
基于环境设计预防犯罪理论,道路相关结构因素对于犯罪具有解释效果。一些学者开始关注道路结构对犯罪的影响。张延吉等[11]在研究影响盗窃犯罪的因素时发现路网密度对盗窃犯罪起到正向影响,但仅仅是将道路因素作为建成环境的一部分进行研究。部分学者将研究主体聚焦于道路结构本身,而不将其作为建成环境的附属研究道路几何结构对犯罪的影响,柳林等[12]聚焦于道路密度,研究不同类型道路密度对公共空间盗窃犯罪率的影响。Tokey[13]区分了不同限速道路的密度,研究其与财产犯罪的关系发现低速道路可能为犯罪提供便利而高速道路可能会减少犯罪机会。
但是这些研究仅仅局限在道路的几何结构对犯罪的影响。部分学者在此基础上开始关注到道路的拓扑属性及其对犯罪的作用机制。Davies等[14]借助图论理论,研究英国伯明翰市道路中介性和线性度对于入室盗窃犯罪的影响,发现道路中介性对犯罪具有正向影响。Yue等[15]在道路中介性基础上区分了本地渗透性和非本地渗透性对犯罪的影响,同时研究了道路等级、道路长度两个几何结构对犯罪的影响。毛媛媛等[16]以派出所辖区为研究单元,首次尝试“X 形率”“T 形率”来衡量道路网络模式,研究街道网络的几何和拓扑形态特征与“两抢一盗”犯罪间的关系。
在研究道路结构时,部分学者使用空间句法来衡量道路的拓扑结构。Rokem等[17]使用空间句法的连通度属性研究暴力事件的空间分布特征,揭示了道路形态对暴力犯罪的影响作用;姜昀呈等[18]使用空间句法研究兰州中心城区犯罪分布与城市环境的关系时发现在局部空间尺度下,平均深度大的地区自然监测环境良好,有利于逃逸犯罪人员的抓捕。
已有研究表明犯罪出行距离是描述犯罪模式的重要参数,犯罪出行模式影响着犯罪地点的选择,犯罪人出行选择的交通方式决定了出行距离[19-22]。不同半径尺度下的空间句法值可以描述城市不同尺度下的中心性和穿行性效应[23-24],不同交通方式下的犯罪出行对犯罪分布存在差异性影响。然而,鲜有学者依据交通方式对道路拓扑属性进行划分,细致全面地研究道路几何拓扑结构对于犯罪的影响。
基于此,现以道路段为研究单元,依据不同交通出行方式的活动半径,构建空间句法线段模型,同时兼顾道路的几何和拓扑属性,研究道路结构对盗窃犯罪空间分布的影响,并以JB市YC区为例进行实证研究。以期能够帮助警务部门理解犯罪成因,提高依据路网进行巡逻、防控等警务资源配置的效率。
空间句法在20世纪70年代末由英国伦敦大学的Bill Hillier教授在《空间的社会逻辑》[25]中首次提出,该理论主要用来研究不同空间组成部分之间的关系,以及这些关系如何影响人的行为和社交活动。空间句法的本质是运用图论原理,从非欧氏距离的建模角度对建成空间进行数量化统计分析,揭示空间形式和功能的相互作用关系[26]。空间布局可以影响个体和集体如何移动和交互,因此可以用来预测人流、视觉可见性、社交潜力等。空间句法的提出把原本难以言说的空间结构用一目了然的方式表达出来,从而将空间的作用从经济、政治等因素中抽离出来,凸显空间构型对社会生活的反作用力,已被大量运用到城市研究中[27],因此,利用空间句法研究道路结构对于犯罪的关系有理可循。
空间句法发展至今,已经衍生出轴线模型、凸状模型、线段模型、视域模型等多种模型[28-30],线段模型考虑路网偏转角度的影响,适合中观、宏观尺度的较大区域分析,相较于轴线模型计算误差更小,因此本文使用以道路中心线为建模基础的线段模型。线段模型的线段间距离测算根据线段间的偏转角度,通过在城市的实证验证人的行走偏向于最小角度变化[31-32],线段模型的建模原理更接近于人的认知,且线段模型可以在一个模型多种半径下凸显多尺度的空间统计特征,符合研究需求。
空间句法有接近度、穿行度、连通度和可理解度等参数,接近度是衡量空间渗透性和到达性的重要参数,穿行度可以评估路网的穿行和通过能力。使用sDNA对朝阳区道路进行空间句法分析,并主要围绕接近度和穿行度这两个参数开展分析。涉及的sDNA相关空间句法变量如下。
1)搜索半径
搜索半径(R)表示计算某路段路网结构变量时考虑的空间范围。以某一路段为例,当搜索半径为500 m时,该路段的路网形态变量是由其500 m范围内的所有路网特征计算得到的。搜索半径可以反映城市功能的服务半径,也可以反映不同交通方式出行范围。
2)接近度
接近度,也称整合度,代表某一路段到搜索半径内其余路网的难易程度,接近度高的地点通常更容易到达,更可能吸引人流和活动。接近度NQPDA计算公式为

3)穿行度
穿行度衡量的是通过某路段的最优路径的数量,用于评估该路段在网络中作为通过路径的重要性。穿行度高的路段通常在交通或移动网络中具有战略位置重要性。穿行度TPBt的公式为

式(2)中: N为研究范围内节点集合; R ( y )为节点 y为圆心、 R为搜索半径的圆; O D ( y , z , x )为搜索半径 R通过节点 x的节点 y z之间最短拓扑路径; L i n k s ( y )为每个节点 y搜索半径 R内的节点总数, P ( z )为节点的权重。
4)连通度
道路连通度是指一个空间单元如何与其他空间单元相连接的度量。它通常用来分析和描述城市环境中道路网或路径的连通性。道路连通度的高低可以反映出人们在该区域内的移动便利程度。道路连通性定义为连接此道路的其他道路端点的数量。
因变量是路段上发生盗窃案件的数量,为计数变量,包含大量0值(该路段无犯罪记录),且数据分布离散,均值与方差不相等,因此使用零膨胀负二项回归模型分析道路网络结构因素与盗窃犯罪的关系。零膨胀模型的基本思想是把事件数分成两个部分[33],第一个部分为零膨胀阶段,可以解释数据中存在过多零的原因,即解释因素能否影响事件的发生; 第二部分为负二项回归阶段,对应事件发生数,该部分个体事件发生数服从负二项分布,可以解释因素影响事件发生次数多少的问题[34]。零膨胀负二项回归模型表示如下。

式(3)中: π为逻辑回归模型预测的概率,表明了观测值为零的概率; λ为负二项分布的均值参数; θ为分散参数。
研究区域为JB市YC区,YC区位于JB市中南部,总面积470.8 km2,下辖24个街道、19个地区,常住人口约240万人。YC区是JB市对外交往的重要窗口,具备以金融业、租赁业和商务服务业占主导,高新技术产业支撑、文化创意产业集群发展的多元化产业格。因为其机场街道主要服务于机场,是位于YC区本土外的一块飞地,在研究时不将其纳入研究范围。研究区域如图1所示。
以道路段和街道行政区为研究单元,研究数据主要包括盗窃犯罪点数据、YC行政区划数据、路网数据及兴趣点(point of interest,POI)数据。
研究的犯罪类型为盗窃犯罪,具体包括扒窃、盗窃机动车非机动车、拎包盗窃及其他等街面盗窃类型。犯罪数据来自地方公安机关提供的2019年犯罪数据,主要包括案件类型、案发时间、案发地点、接警单位等信息,通过对犯罪类型进行筛选并剔研究区域范围外的点,最终得到盗窃犯罪数据1 848条。
路网数据由OpenStreetMap公开数据集获取,同时为了构建空间句法线段模型,需要对道路进行矢量化建模。具体建模过程分为以下五步。
(1)使用ArcMap10.8,导入YC区街道地图栅格底图数据,进行坐标配准。
(2)为避免计算拓扑结构时产生的边缘效应,按照中国居民平均出行距离,以YC区行政区划范围向外建立2.7 km缓冲区。
(3)新建线图层,设立与底图一致的坐标系。
(4)基于栅格底图人工描图,绘制缓冲区范围内道路的道路中心线。由于YC区道路错综复杂,存在多种级别道路重叠的情况,所有重叠道路建模中以一条线路进行简化替代,每条道路均可供机动车、非机动车及行人通过。
(5)进行拓扑检查保证线段相连,对相交线进行打断,最终生成可供空间句法分析的YC区路网矢量数据。
依据先前犯罪地理的研究[35-38],选取会影响盗窃犯罪分布的社会经济类POI数据,主要包括购物服务、餐饮服务、娱乐场所三类。所有POI数据来源于2019年高德地图,通过python 网络爬虫技术获取,包括了名称、地址、类型、坐标。其中购物服务类主要包括便利店、市场、超市、商场等商品交易场所,餐饮服务类主要包括中餐厅、快餐厅、甜品店等餐饮服务场所,娱乐场所主要包括KTV、酒吧、棋牌室、游戏厅等。
研究流程主要包括4个部分。
(1)获取犯罪点数据、道路网数据、POI 数据,对数据进行异常数据剔除、地理坐标系转换。根据区域道路网络底图数据,对道路进行矢量化建模,构建空间句法线段模型。
(2)使用核密度分析研究犯罪分布特征和犯罪热点,其次将犯罪点投影到最近的路段,统计每个道路段盗窃犯罪数量,研究犯罪热点路段。
(3)使用ArcGIS计算每段道路的长度、蜿蜒度、角曲率;以街道行政区为单元,计算每个研究单元内各等级道路的道路密度,得到所需要的道路几何结构属性值。使用sDNA,计算道路连通度,同时分别以500 m、1500 m、5 000 m、n(全局)表示步行、自行车、电动车、机动车4种出行方式的半径,计算4种交通模式下每个道路段的接近度、穿行度,得到道路的拓扑结构属性值。
(4)利用零膨胀负二项回归,以道路段为研究单元,研究道路结构属性对盗窃犯罪的影响;使用Spearman相关性分析及多元线性回归,以街道行政区为研究单元,分析不同等级道路路网密度与盗窃犯罪的关系并用犯罪地理学理论对结果进行解释。
使用ArcGIS根据点位坐标将犯罪点位落入研究区域并进行核密度分析如图2所示,YC区盗窃热点主要分布在中西部,几个犯罪热点均具有众多商业街区,经济活动活跃,人口密集且流动性大。将犯罪点投影到最近的道路段上,统计每个路段盗窃犯罪数量,对道路犯罪数标准差椭圆分析并进行可视化如图3所示。道路犯罪在空间上沿着西北—东南方向延伸,且具有一定集中性。
在考虑道路路网结构时,兼顾几何结构和拓扑结构两方面。几何结构主要包括道路长度、路网密度、道路蜿蜒度、道路角曲率。拓扑结构包括接近度、穿行度和连通度。根据不同交通方式的平均出行距离,分别以500 m、1 500 m、5 000 m、n(全局)表示步行、自行车、电动车、机动车4种出行方式的半径,并计算4种交通方式下道路的接近度和穿行度。已有的犯罪地理研究发现了不同类型POI对犯罪的影响,为控制道路两侧POI对犯罪的影响,选取购物服务、餐饮服务、娱乐场所3类POI变量作为混淆因素。所用到的道路路网结构变量和POI变量如表1所示。
1)道路几何结构分析
OpenStreetMap于字段“fclass”内将道路划分成27个子类,依据此分类结合国内城市道路路线设计规范,将道路按照等级划分为高架及快速路、城市主干道、城市次干道、城市支路、人行道及内部路五类,各类型道路对应OSM等级如表2所示。
以街道行政区为单元,计算YC区每个街道各道路类型的路网密度,按照分级色彩分成七类进行可视化展示,各等级道路及各路网密度结果如图4所示。
2)道路拓扑结构分析
基于道路拓扑结构,研究区域路网内各路段在不用交通模式下反映出的结构特征。使用sDNA,选取500、1 500、5 000 m及n(全局)作为搜索半径,计算4种交通方式下道路的接近度与穿行度。对计算得到的接近度和穿行度的值进行空间分布分析和统计分析。
使用基于线性要素的制图表达方法,按自然间断点分为5类,用分级色彩图进行可视化展示如图5所示。
对得到的道路结果进行分析,分析结果如下:
第一,在步行、自行车、电动车、机动车4种尺度上,区域的中西部均体现为穿行度和接近度的高值中心。
第二,穿行度和接近度在步行、自行车两个出行尺度上的结果相似,高值分布比较集中,与犯罪热点地区高度重合。接近度结果较为连续,体现出“多核心”特征,穿行度则更为离散,聚集性较弱。
第三,穿行度在电动车尺度和机动车尺度上分布相似,穿行度高值街道主要为中西部的核心主干道,贯通性强。
第四,电动车尺度接近度高值位于区域中西部,呈环状向外递减。机动车尺度接近度的高值主要位于主要交通干道,如三环路、四环路、朝阳路,呈环状与射线状,说明该类道路对远距离出行的车流吸引力比较大,主要承担远距离交通穿行职能。
标准差椭圆的分析结果可知,4种交通模式下的穿行度和接近度高值均沿着西北—东南方向分布,与犯罪分布方向一致,可以推测道路结构与盗窃犯罪具有一定的相关性。
对计算得到的接近度和穿行度进行统计分析结果如图6所示。可以看出,随着半径的增大,接近度的频数分布趋向于正态分布,符合城市多核心和“窄马路、密路网”的建设要求。穿行度的频数分布呈现低值多高值少的分布特点,表明城市中穿行能力较强的道路数量较少,主要为城市的核心主干道;穿行力低的道路较多,主要为城市支路、内部道路,为地区性道路,以服务功能为主,符合城市道路结构特点。
以街道行政区为研究单元,使用Spearman相关系数研究6种等级道路密度及社会经济要素与盗窃犯罪的相关关系,选取相关关系显著的变量进行共线性检验及多元回归,分析不同等级的道路密度对犯罪密度的具体影响作用,结果如表3所示。
使用ArcGIS和sDNA计算得到道路路网拓扑结构指标参数和几何结构指标参数,自变量选取路段长度、蜿蜒度、角曲率、道路连通度、路段购物、餐饮、娱乐场所POI数量和步行、自行车、电动车、机动车半径下的道路穿行度及接近度,因变量选取路段上盗窃犯罪数量。使用Stata对通过共线性检验的自变量进行零膨胀负二项回归分析,研究路网结构形态对盗窃犯罪的影响作用,各自变量共线性检验中方差膨胀因子(variance inflation factor,VIF)值均小于10,通过了共线性检验,具体结果如表4所示。
1)道路几何结构对盗窃犯罪的影响分析
道路路段长度、角曲率对盗窃具有正向促进作用。道路长度越长,犯罪人可接触到的易受侵害的目标越多,发生的盗窃犯罪数越多;道路角曲率反映了道路的线性程度,道路弯曲程度越大,道路越曲折,盗窃犯罪数量越多,这可能是因为曲折的道路为犯罪人提供“掩护”更有利于犯罪人进行隐蔽,在逃离犯罪现场时,更容易摆脱监视的追捕,这与Davies等[14]对于英国伯明翰的研究结果相同。
城市主干道、支路、人行道及内部路密度与盗窃犯罪密度的相关系数在0.01水平上显著,次干道与盗窃犯罪密度的相关系数在0.05上显著。说明了城市主干道、次干道、支路、人行道及内部路密度与盗窃犯罪密度都是相关的。多元线性回归的结果表示,城市支路密度对盗窃犯罪密度影响是显著的且与盗窃犯罪密度呈正相关。城市支路是连接次干路与居住区、工业区、交通设施等内部道路,解决局部地区交通,以服务功能为主的道路[39]。城市支路上分布着比较多的服务设施,与居民日常生活密切,吸引大量的人口并滞留,增加有动机的犯罪者和潜在受害人的结合机会。同时,高密度支路吸引的大量人流导致的“街道眼”发挥的“守望效应”[40],快捷的交通便于犯罪人脱身逃离现场,两者结合从而促进盗窃高发。
2)道路拓扑结构对盗窃犯罪的影响分析
在研究道路拓扑结构与盗窃犯罪的关系时,发现区分交通模式精细化研究不同出行半径尺度下的道路拓扑结构对犯罪的影响作用具有重要意义,研究发现如下。
第一,在不区分交通模式下研究道路拓扑结构对盗窃犯罪的影响可以发现,道路连通度对盗窃犯罪具有显著正向作用。连通度高的道路与其他道路具有更多的连接,会吸引大量的潜在受害人也为犯罪人抵达犯罪地点提供便利。同时,较多的道路交叉口有利于犯罪人实施盗窃行为后迅速逃离犯罪现场。
第二,步行交通模式道路接近度、穿行度对盗窃犯罪的发生具有显著的负相关作用,即步行范围内越容易到达和更容易被步行人流穿越的道路,发生盗窃犯罪的风险会有所降低。社区居民围绕居住区的周边活动的主要交通方式为步行,依据街道眼理论,步行出行范围内的区域,密路网和高道路渗透性激发了步行行为和邻里交往;较高的道路穿行度,增加了街道被本地居民穿越的可能性,大量本地居民的经过会激发更多的街道眼对街道进行监管,对盗窃起到了遏制作用。
第三,与步行交通模式不同的是,在自行车交通模式下,道路接近度、穿行度对盗窃犯罪具有正向作用,说明在自行车交通模式下,越容易到达的道路或被穿越可能性高的道路,盗窃犯罪发生率更高。相较于步行人流,自行车模式下的道路接近度代表着更多的外来人流,依据防卫空间理论,越容易接近的道路,会导致人流的大量涌入,为扒窃等街面盗窃提供了大量的潜在作案机会,也有利于犯罪人的抵达和逃逸。同时,较高道路穿行度导致大量外来陌生人流的经过,加强了地区的人员流动性,提高本地无序感、匿名性和不信任感,降低居民辨识可疑人员的意愿与能力,削弱街道眼的自然监控功效,受害人和嫌疑人结合机会的增加和监管能力的降低导致盗窃犯罪高发。
第四,电动车交通模式、机动车交通模式下的接近度对盗窃犯罪均有正向影响。电动车出行和机动车出行具有更大的范围半径,预示着更大范围下道路的拓扑结构特征。大半径下越容易接近的道路,盗窃犯罪越多,外来的陌生车流人流所带来的不稳定性威胁大于街道眼所能带来的监护作用。电动车交通模式下穿行度对盗窃犯罪具有负向影响,机动车交通模式下穿行度对盗窃犯罪影响不显著。可见在相同交通模式下,道路的接近度和穿行度两个拓扑属性对于犯罪的影响作用也可能相反。
以JB市YC区为例,研究了道路结构对盗窃犯罪的影响。首先对已有道路与犯罪相关研究进行梳理,其次根据道路特点将道路结构分成几何结构(长度、蜿蜒度、角曲率和路网密度)和拓扑结构(接近度、穿行度、连通度)两部分进行讨论,分析了YC区的道路结构和盗窃犯罪空间分布情况,最后基于空间句法区分交通模式,分别研究道路几何结构和不同交通模式下的道路拓扑结构对犯罪的影响并基于犯罪地理基础理论展开分析。
创新性和先进性体现在以下几个方面。
(1)尝试区分了交通模式,使用“接近度”“穿行度”“连通度”等反映不同方面道路结构属性的指标来探究道路结构与盗窃犯罪的关系。已有研究在探讨道路拓扑结构时仅考虑“中介性”一种属性,不能全面描述道路的拓扑结构特征,且忽视了不同交通模式下道路拓扑结构的差异性。采取了多种反映道路不同拓扑属性的指标,既考虑到了道路拓扑整合能力和中心性又关注到道路的通过性和疏散能力。在此基础上区分了步行、自行车、电动车、机动车4种常见的交通方式,弥补了这一研究空白,从横向和纵向扩充了现有道路结构与犯罪关系研究涉及的指标体系。
(2)拓展了犯罪地理学基础理论,道路的穿行度和接近度对犯罪的影响并非简单一致,在不同交通模式下这种影响显示出异质性,所得结论能够帮助理解街道眼理论和防卫空间理论这两种理论的分歧源头和适用性问题。
(3)同时考虑了道路的几何结构和拓扑结构,聚焦于道路结构本身,以路段作为研究单元,构建空间句法线段模型,研究尺度更加精细,相较于先前研究具有进步性,将研究单元精细至路段研究犯罪热点及影响因素对一线公安机关巡逻防控、安全检查等工作具有重要指导意义。在警力资源有限的前提下,深度挖掘道路结构与犯罪分布模式之间的关系有助于公安部门优化警务资源部署,提升公安机关犯罪预测及风险防控的能力。
