Qiandongnan is the largest and best-preserved Miao settlement area in China, holding significant ethnic cultural heritage. Traditional settlements form an essential part of this heritage. Studying their spatial characteristics and influencing factors is crucial for the sustainable development and protection of cultural heritage in this region. By comprehensively utilizing ArcGIS spatial analysis, boundary morphology index, spatial syntax, and geographic detector methods, the spatial characteristics of settlements were deconstructed from the perspective of regional pattern and case feature analysis, and their influencing factors were explored. The results indicate that the spatial distribution of traditional Miao settlements in Qiandongnan is characterized by significant agglomeration and hierarchy. The highest nuclear density is at the intersection of Leishan, Taijiang and Jianhe. The overall spatial pattern shows a “dense in the southwest and central-south, sparse in the northeast” distribution. Constrained by natural geography, the settlements are mainly distributed in the Qingshui River and Duliu River valleys at altitudes of 500~1 000 m, with undulations of 10~20 m, gradients of 2°~5°, and sunny slopes of 90°~270°. The settlements’ spatial structure exhibits a “clustered” distribution with finger-like external boundaries, and the center shows differentiated traffic flow within and at the edges of the settlements. The geodetector study reveals that Miao traditional settlements are regional spatial carriers of a natural-economic-social complex system. The natural geographic environment fundamentally shapes spatial patterns, the social environment guides and controls internal spatial organization and evolution, and economic development decisively influences spatial development and protection. The study enhances the understanding of this complexity, which is vital for appreciating Miao culture, developing strategies for protecting and developing this cultural heritage, and implementing rural revitalization strategies.

黔东南是中国最大且保存最好的苗族聚居区,拥有重要的民族文化遗产。苗族传统聚落是这一文化遗产的重要组成部分,研究其空间特征和影响因素对该地区的文化遗产可持续发展和保护具有重要理论和现实意义。综合运用ArcGIS空间分析、边界形态指数、空间句法及地理探测器等方法,从区域格局到个案特征分析角度出发,对聚落空间特征进行解构,并探寻其影响因素。结果表明:黔东南苗族传统聚落空间分布具有明显的集聚性与等级性。核密度最大值位于雷山县、台江县和剑河县交汇地带,整体空间格局呈现“西南和中南密集、东北稀疏”的分布特征。在自然地理环境限制下,聚落主要分布在海拔500~1 000 m、起伏度10~20 m、坡度2°~5°和阳坡90°~270°的清水江与都柳江及山地丘陵谷地中;聚落空间结构呈“团聚式”分布,外部边界呈指状形态,空间聚集中心显示聚落内部及边缘交通差异化分布。地理探测器研究结果显示,苗族传统聚落是自然-经济-社会复合系统的区域空间载体。自然地理环境因素对空间格局形成起基础作用,社会环境因素对内部空间组织与演变起引导和控制作用,经济发展因素对空间发展和保护具有决定作用。研究结论有助于认识这种复杂性,对理解苗族文化、制定保护和发展这些文化遗产及乡村振兴战略的实施至关重要。

黔东南是中国最大且保存最好的苗族聚居区,拥有重要的民族文化遗产。苗族传统聚落是这一文化遗产的重要组成部分,研究其空间特征和影响因素对该地区的文化遗产可持续发展和保护具有重要理论和现实意义。综合运用ArcGIS空间分析、边界形态指数、空间句法及地理探测器等方法,从区域格局到个案特征分析角度出发,对聚落空间特征进行解构,并探寻其影响因素。结果表明:黔东南苗族传统聚落空间分布具有明显的集聚性与等级性。核密度最大值位于雷山县、台江县和剑河县交汇地带,整体空间格局呈现“西南和中南密集、东北稀疏”的分布特征。在自然地理环境限制下,聚落主要分布在海拔500~1 000 m、起伏度10~20 m、坡度2°~5°和阳坡90°~270°的清水江与都柳江及山地丘陵谷地中;聚落空间结构呈“团聚式”分布,外部边界呈指状形态,空间聚集中心显示聚落内部及边缘交通差异化分布。地理探测器研究结果显示,苗族传统聚落是自然-经济-社会复合系统的区域空间载体。自然地理环境因素对空间格局形成起基础作用,社会环境因素对内部空间组织与演变起引导和控制作用,经济发展因素对空间发展和保护具有决定作用。研究结论有助于认识这种复杂性,对理解苗族文化、制定保护和发展这些文化遗产及乡村振兴战略的实施至关重要。

Qiandongnan is the largest and best-preserved Miao settlement area in China, holding significant ethnic cultural heritage. Traditional settlements form an essential part of this heritage. Studying their spatial characteristics and influencing factors is crucial for the sustainable development and protection of cultural heritage in this region. By comprehensively utilizing ArcGIS spatial analysis, boundary morphology index, spatial syntax, and geographic detector methods, the spatial characteristics of settlements were deconstructed from the perspective of regional pattern and case feature analysis, and their influencing factors were explored. The results indicate that the spatial distribution of traditional Miao settlements in Qiandongnan is characterized by significant agglomeration and hierarchy. The highest nuclear density is at the intersection of Leishan, Taijiang and Jianhe. The overall spatial pattern shows a “dense in the southwest and central-south, sparse in the northeast” distribution. Constrained by natural geography, the settlements are mainly distributed in the Qingshui River and Duliu River valleys at altitudes of 500~1 000 m, with undulations of 10~20 m, gradients of 2°~5°, and sunny slopes of 90°~270°. The settlements’ spatial structure exhibits a “clustered” distribution with finger-like external boundaries, and the center shows differentiated traffic flow within and at the edges of the settlements. The geodetector study reveals that Miao traditional settlements are regional spatial carriers of a natural-economic-social complex system. The natural geographic environment fundamentally shapes spatial patterns, the social environment guides and controls internal spatial organization and evolution, and economic development decisively influences spatial development and protection. The study enhances the understanding of this complexity, which is vital for appreciating Miao culture, developing strategies for protecting and developing this cultural heritage, and implementing rural revitalization strategies.

少数民族聚落作为传统聚落的重要组成部分,集中体现了少数民族地区的民族风情和历史文化,是传承中华民族优秀传统文化和发展民族经济的重要资源。然而,在城镇化、旅游化和信息化快速推进过程中,少数民族传统聚落正面临着内部有机保护调整需求和开发过程堪忧以及经济产业转型的外在冲击。人居环境、生产生活模式和社会价值取向的重大转变,都已外化于聚落物质空间的变化中,其保护和发展矛盾凸显[1]。为支持少数民族传统聚落保护和发展,2012—2023年,住房城乡建设部、文化和旅游部、文物局、财政部、自然资源部、农业农村部等部门联合陆续出台了6批列入中国传统村落名录村落名单。2018年,中共中央、国务院印发了《国家乡村振兴战略规划(2018—2022年)》,提出将传统聚落保护作为国家乡村振兴战略的重要组成部分,为少数民族传统聚落保护、利用和发展提供了新机遇。
自19世纪40年代德国地理学家科尔(J.G Kohl)研究聚落类型及其发展模式以来,世界各国学者对人类聚落研究从未间断[2]。近年来,为实现传统聚落可持续发展,学者们从多个角度对传统聚落进行研究,主要集中在以下3个方面。
第一,传统聚落文化价值评价。谢旭斌等[3]使用景观美学评价方法研究湖湘传统聚落的审美价值,总结其为满足生存需求、生命活力、生产聚落的家园形态和艺术审美关照。何艳冰等[4]从物质文化和非物质文化两方面构建传统聚落文化评价指标体系。
第二,传统聚落保护与可持续发展。刘益明[5]认为,解决历史文化遗产破坏问题,应建立政府参与治理的模式来指导传统聚落保护与修复。屠李等[6]提出,通过层积认知和整体保护方法,从管理变化、民生改善和社区发展等方面提出保护策略。徐辉等[7]、朱桓等[8]认为,娱乐、旅游、休闲活动是传统聚落的重要功能之一,应在充分利用自然景观和文化资源基础上,实现差异化发展,促进经济增长和生活改善,提高村民的生活质量和幸福感。
第三,空间分布及影响因素分析。蒋雨欣等[9]利用景观格局指数,分析了2009—2019年屏南县乡村聚落的时空演变特征,发现乡村聚落整体形态趋于复杂和破碎化。居肖肖等[10]基于ArcGIS分析了浙皖陕滇1857个传统聚落的空间分布特征,提出四省传统聚落呈现凝聚性分布和城镇中心聚集现象。尹伟等[11]、王薇[12]、韩丽等[13]利用地理集中指数、不平衡指数、泰森多边形和缓冲区分析等方法,研究了成渝地区、长三角地区和云南省等地的传统聚落空间分布和分异。刘畅等[14]、杨燕等[15]、武亚杰等[16]基于数量地理学,定量分析了陕西省和贵州省传统聚落的空间格局及其受自然环境和社会经济因素影响的情况。
此外,一些学者还对传统聚落景观与人居环境、更新机制、公共空间形态与功能、典型地方实践等方面进行了研究。在研究尺度上,既有国家、文化、区域、省区、城市等宏观尺度的研究,也有基于传统聚落案例的微观尺度研究[2]。在研究方法上,既有基于归纳演绎的定性研究方法,如构建评价指标体系、制定发展对策,也有使用STATA、SPSS、空间句法等工具的定量研究方法。总体来看,国内外的传统聚落研究正朝着系统化和深化方向发展,呈现出内容细分、研究范畴延伸的特点。
尽管中国传统聚落的研究成果逐渐增多,但仍存在研究区域不均衡和研究方法单一等问题。现有研究多集中在宏观或微观尺度,主要聚焦于中东部传统文化底蕴较强的地区,较少将两种研究尺度结合,对生态脆弱、经济欠发达的少数民族地区进行研究。此外,多数研究仅将地形、水系、交通等因素作为影响传统聚落空间分布的主要因素,缺乏对各影响因素强度的深入研究。随着信息技术的快速发展以及建筑学与地理学的深度融合,从设计学视角研究传统聚落的空间分布及其影响因素已成为必然趋势。黔东南位于贵州省东南部,是中国最大的苗族聚居区,也是苗族文化的重要发源地之一。因此,迫切需要分析黔东南传统聚落的分布情况,探究其影响因素,这项工作是保护传统聚落的基础。然而,不同地区传统聚落的分布特征及影响因素各有不同。传统聚落的空间分异因素不仅存在尺度差异,也存在区域差异。除了共性因素外,不同区域还有各自独特的因素。例如,广府地区和闽南地区人口社会自组织对当地传统聚落的空间分布有重要影响,而山西省传统聚落的分布与人口分布“无关”,但与坡向、流域、海拔等自然因素有较强的相关性[17-19]
考虑到传统聚落空间分异的复杂性和地域性,现以黔东南314个苗族传统聚落为研究对象,综合运用地理信息系统(geographic information system,GIS)空间分析和数理统计分析方法,从宏观和微观层面揭示苗族传统聚落的空间分布特征及空间分异的影响因素。在影响因素方面,除了选取地形、水系、交通等因素外,还增加少数民族人口占总人口比重、苗族非物质文化遗产数量、旅游总收入比重等因素开展多维度研究。同时,利用地理探测器分析不同因素对苗族传统聚落分布的影响强度,以期为国家乡村振兴战略及苗族传统聚落保护与发展提供参考。
黔东南地处黔中高原向湘西丘陵及广西盆地过渡性地带的东南部斜坡上,境内峰峦连绵,岩溶广布。辖区包括岑巩县、镇远县、施秉县、黄平县、三穗县、麻江县、台江县、剑河县、锦屏县、丹寨县、雷山县、榕江县、黎平县、从江县、天柱县和凯里市16个县级单位。面积为30 337 km2,常住人口为358.3万人,共有33个少数民族栖居于此,少数民族人口占总户籍人口的81.5%,其中苗族人口占比高达42.5%。作为中国最大且保存最好的苗族聚居区,分布在此的苗族传统聚落数量要远超其他少数民族。独特的地形地貌、气候特点和自然水系分布成为苗族传统聚落布局的基本框架。苗族先民们综合考量地形地貌与选址、水势与生产、山形与居所的构建,突破了低效生态平衡,形成了一种以农田生态系统为核心的立体空间组织模式。因此,选择黔东南作为研究对象,具有典型的山地少数民族代表性。研究步骤流程如图1所示。
苗族传统聚落数据基于中国传统聚落名录(http://www.qdn.gov.cn)。截至2023年3月19日,黔东南地区共有314个苗族传统聚落入选中国传统聚落名单。通过田野调查、咨询文旅局和查阅地方文献等方法,收集了314个苗族传统聚落的基础资料。使用国家公布的1∶400万黔东南州行政区区划矢量图,并结合Google Earth地图获取聚落点分布的地理空间信息。从地理空间数据云下载黔东南30 m数字高程模型(digital elevation model,DEM)数据,将其载入ArcGIS 10.4模块中生成海拔、坡度、起伏度和汇水特征等专项分析。借鉴先前学者的研究成果,选取6个空间结构特征保存较好的聚落样本,进行实地调研和测绘,获取聚落建筑、景观、街巷等基本空间形态数据[20]。人均国内生产总值(gross domestic product,GDP)、苗族非物质文化遗产数量、旅游总收入比重、第三产业从业人数、少数民族人口占比、年末常住人口和与公路距离来源于市域统计数据。
最邻近距离法是以随机状态下的点(聚落)分布状况作为标准来识别聚落空间分布情况,主要计算最邻近距离,以地市为单位对不同聚落进行地理空间上的划分,然后计算得到各个聚落的空间插值,分析其变化情况。计算公式[20]

式(1)中:r为平均观测距离;ri为预期平均距离;R为最邻近指数。当R>1时,说明聚落点趋向扩散分布或均匀分布态势;当R<1时,为凝聚型分布态势;当R= 1时,为随机分布态势。
根据泰森多边形的变异系数法,生成聚落泰森多边形(Voronoi图)。通过计算Voronoi图面积的变异系数(coefficient of variation,CV)去判断聚落点的离散程度,CV越小,说明聚落点分布越密集,以此来评估聚落点的分布类型。CV计算公式[21]

当聚落点分布“均匀”时,Voronoi多边形面积变异程度较小,CV较低;当聚落点为“集聚分布”时,集聚群内Voronoi多边形面积较小,CV较低;集聚群间Voronoi多边形面积较大,CV越高。 Duyckaertes针对Voronoi图面积的变异系数CV提出3个值:当CV为33%~66%时,聚落点为“随机分布”空间类型;当CV>66%时,聚落点为“集聚性”空间分布类型;当CV<33%时,聚落点为“均匀分布”空间类型。按照CV分类标准,运用ArcGIS10.4软件计算聚落点的CV及分布状况。
核密度估计法(kernel density estimation,KDE)认为点的空间领域范围内具有不同密度,此算法可计算周围点密度在其整个区域中的分布特征。核密度越高,点密度集聚程度就越高。计算公式[22]

运用边界形态指数公式可以对聚落整体边界形态进行界定与解析,边界形状指数S

式(4)中:S为边界形态指数;P为边界周长;A为面积;λ为边界长宽比[23]
空间句法通过针对聚落环境空间结构的量化描述来进一步分析聚落自然环境与建成环境之间的关系,将此方法应用于分析聚落自然环境与建成环境元素之间的复杂关系。选取全局平均整合度Rn和全局控制度Cn来分析聚落内部空间组织特征。句法地图中的颜色分析展示了空间可达性层级,其中红色区域空间可达性与可视性最高,黄色区域次之,蓝色区域最弱[7]
依据地理探测器研究方法分析聚落空间分异情况,研究某种影响因子X对某一项指标值的空间分布解释力,应用q值实行测量,计算公式[22]

式(5)中:h=1,2,…,LYX的分层;NhN分别为影响因素的分层h和所选取的样本数;${\sigma }_{h}^{2}$σ2分别为层h和全域Y中的方差;SSW和SST分别为层h的方差之和与全区域的总方差。q的取值范围为[0,1],若影响因素X由分层构成,q越大表示影响因素X对聚落空间分异情况的解释力越强,否则越弱。
借助ArcGIS10.4空间统计模块下平均最邻近工具计算出聚落观测(实际),最邻近距离为13.79 km,期望平均距离为43.90 km,最邻近比率为0.31,显著性P<0.01,Z为-23.24,显示聚落呈现集聚型空间分布形态[24]
根据聚落泰森多边形的分析(图2),各聚落点斑块面积大小差异显著,呈现出中西部和中南部较为紧密,而东北部和西南部相对松散的分布状态。使用变异系数(CV)进行计算(图3),结果显示,中西部的麻江县CV最低,为58%;东南部黎平县的CV最高,为169%。根据CV分类标准,所有聚落在空间分布上均表现为聚集分布。
(1)黔东南各县域传统聚落点CV均大于33%,即不存在空间分布属于“均匀分布”类型的传统聚落点。集群分布的聚落占总数的93%。
(2)黔东南中西部和中南部分布着多个传统聚落高聚集区,而区域北部的县域传统聚落居民点分布相比之下较为稀疏。
(3)从县级尺度来看,黔东南所有县级传统聚落点都为聚集型分布,且聚集程度较高、其中,黎平县、凯里市和施秉县CV分别为169%、153%和137%,是传统聚落点集聚程度最高的3个县。
基于核密度估计分析(图4),聚落在空间分布上表现出鲜明的非均匀性特征,聚落主要集中在中西部和中南部地区,占聚落总数66.20%。镇远、岑巩和三穗的聚落分布最少,三者之和仅占总数的1.37%。总的来说,聚落核密度呈现“大集聚、小分散”的空间分布格局,在演化过程中形成3个高密度中心。一级中心是以雷山县、台江县和剑河县交汇地带为主的高密度区,同时向四周扩散分布,呈现等级逐渐降低的趋势。二级中心是以黎平县西部地带为主的高密度区。三级中心是以从江县东部为主的高密度区。核密度最低值均出现在北部的岑巩县、镇远县、天柱县和三穗县。
通过表1图5(a)可以看出,苗族传统聚落随海拔增加而逐渐减少。聚落大多选址在海拔500~1 000 m的范围内,共计246个,占总数的78.34%。海拔高于1 000 m的聚落只有18个,占总数的7.73%;而海拔低于500 m的聚落有50个,占总数的15.92%。聚落建成区面积在海拔500~1 000 m达到峰值,该海拔范围内聚落建成总面积共169.38 km2,占研究区聚落总面积的74.86%。
聚落主要集中分布在地形起伏度为10~20 m的平坝与丘陵区域,占聚落总数的69.42%;其次是台地,占聚落总数的21.34%。起伏度大于60 m的高山沟谷,由于地形起伏剧烈,自然环境特殊且敏感,属于地质灾害易发区,若聚落选址于此,可能会带来各种潜在危险。
根据国际地理学会地貌调查与制图委员会划分的坡度分级方案,聚落主要集中分布在斜缓坡(2°~5°)和斜坡(5°~15°)区域,分别占到聚落总数的48.73%和24.84%。这些区域适宜进行农业生产活动,故有231个聚落分布在此[表2图5(b)]。分布在平原至微倾斜平原区域(0°~2°)的聚落数量较少,仅占总数的9.24%。当坡度大于15°时,聚落数量会随坡度上升而相应减少。
不同坡度的山地在热量、光照、降水和温度的差异会影响物种多样性,从而对聚落的生产生活造成限制,并对其选址产生重要影响。通过对苗族传统聚落的坡向分析(表3)发现,苗族传统聚落分布在东坡和南坡等阳坡(90°~270°)地带,且分布差异显著,主要集中在阳坡,有172个。黔东南地区的阴坡(0°~90°和270°~360°)由于寒冷且阴雨时间长,无法提供充足热量,不适合人类生产生活,因此苗族传统聚落分布较少。而阳坡雨量充足,光照和热量丰富,有利于农作物生长,为生产生活提供了良好的自然环境,因此成为苗族传统聚落的主要分布区域。
研究区雨量充沛,清水江与都柳江的河网结构在一定程度上影响了聚落的空间分布。如表4所示,聚落主要集中在与河网距离0.1~0.5 km和0.5~1.5 km的范围内,分别占聚落总数26.75%和47.45%。当聚落与河的流距离大于2 km时,其数量会逐渐减少,这表示沿河网分布是聚落普遍特征。
选取6个保存较好且具有代表性的聚落,依据其建筑集散程度进行分析得出空间结构特征(图6)。样本聚落空间整体结构呈“团聚式”特点,其中乌东、格头为“单团聚式”,南猛、芭沙、也蒙、掌坳为“多团聚式”。
根据聚落边界平面形态分类(表5),当S≥2时,为指状聚落。其中,当λ<1.5时,为具有团状倾向的指状聚落;当λ≥2,为具有带状倾向的指状聚落;当1.5≤λ<2 时,为无明确倾向的指状聚落。由于样本聚落S≥2,可初步判定为以指状为主控特征的边界形态,其中也蒙(λ=1.34)、南猛(λ=1.21)和乌东(λ=1.47)为具有团状倾向的指状聚落,格头(λ=1.66)为无明确倾向性的指状聚落,岜沙(λ=2.88)、掌坳(λ=8.73)为带状倾向指状聚落。
从句法全局平均整合度轴线图来看[图7(a)],“单团聚式”聚落乌东和格头的平均整合度分别为0.47和0.44。整合度最高的红色轴线和黄色轴线大多围绕在“芦笙坪”“护寨树”“风雨桥”“寨门”等重要公共节点,使得聚落内部空间组织呈现内聚向心的秩序。需要注意的是,这些红色轴线和黄色轴线多为内部巷道。与“单团聚式”聚落相比,“多团聚式”聚落,南猛、岜沙、掌坳和也蒙的整合度更低、空间组织更离散,未形成由高整合度轴线组成的重要节点,其平均整合度分别为0.28、0.26、0.21、0.20。“多团聚式”整合度最高的轴线多出现在连接大小寨之间的公路,这些公路连接了聚落内其他诸条重要的巷道,沿巷道分布着与生产生活密切相关的功能,如水塘、粮仓群、禾晾群等。
从句法控制轴线图来看[图7(b)],几乎所有聚落的控制轴线都呈浅绿色或蓝色,这意味着聚落空间组织的整体控制值较低。这种低控制值的连接状态增强了聚落内部空间布局的防御能力和隐私性。与全局平均整合轴线图类似,乌东(4.09,)也蒙(2.16),岜沙(2.50),格头(2.95),南猛(3.50)和掌坳(4.20)控制程度最高的轴线范围仍出现在重要节点核心区域和公路沿线。
在已有研究基础上,遵循黔东南特有地域环境和数据可获得性原则,从自然地理因素、社会环境因素和经济发展因素出发,运用地理探测器计算不同因子对聚落核密度的影响强度(表6)。选取聚落核密度为因变量,一级指标为自然地理环境因素、经济发展因素和社会环境因素;二级指标为海拔高程、与河流距离、坡向、坡度、人均GDP、旅游总收入比重、第三产业从业人数、与公路距离、少数民族人口占总人口比重、苗族非物质文化遗产数量、年末常住人口,共12项指标作为影响聚落空间分布的自变量。根据表6的因子探测结果,q均处于显著状态,并具有明显差异,具体排序为:人均GDP(X1) >苗族非物质文化遗产数量(X6) >旅游总收入比重(X2)>少数民族人口占人口比重(X5)>第三产业从业人数(X3)>海拔高程(X8)>年末常住人口(X7)>与公路距离(X4)>与河流距离(X9)>坡向(X10)>坡度(X11)。
自然地理环境因素是聚落空间初始形成和格局奠定的基础。海拔高程(0.27)、坡向(0.13)、坡度(0.12)及与河流距离(0.14)均通过显著性检验,其中海拔高程q最高,说明在自然地理环境因素中,海拔高程对聚落空间分布影响最大。首先,聚落不论规模大小都分布在山腰坡地上(山势险峻,坡度陡峭),形成四面环山的格局。其次,多数聚落依山就势,并沿水系分布,但水系对聚落来说不是必需条件,部分聚落附近未出现可见水系。
独特的山地环境构成的自然屏障能够为聚落边界领域带来一些围合感,但未形成显著的外部和内部边界。选取6个聚落样本进行分析,发现聚落整体空间呈“团聚式”组织结构,每个小组团由独立山体划分开来,各聚落之间联系密切而又相对独立。建筑与地形地貌之间采取自然式过渡方式,形成了一种倚靠山间的灵活边界,可概括为一种具有团状倾向的指状边界空间形态。
社会环境因素在引导和控制聚落内部空间文化传承和结构演变方面起着重要作用。少数民族人口占总人口比重(0.37)、苗族非物质文化遗产数量(0.54)和年末常住人口(0.26)均通过显著性检验,其中苗族非物质文化遗产数量q最高,表明苗族传统文化(如风水思想、生产生活方式、宗法制度等)会直接影响到聚落空间布局与演变过程。
近年来,伴随农村经济转型,苗族传统文化在聚落空间中的引导作用逐渐减弱,部分聚落不顾原有整体空间格局,肆意向农田和公路无序扩张,聚落与外界环境联系的公路已成为新的重要活动和发展区域,而政府成了组织和保护聚落空间可持续发展的重要力量。
经济发展因素对聚落空间发展和保护具有决定性影响力。人均GDP(0.58)、旅游总收入(0.47)、第三产业从业人数(0.35)与公路距离(0.22)均为显著性检验,其中,人均GDP、旅游总收入和第三产业从业人数q较大,说明旅游产业开发对聚落空间分布具有变革性作用。在城镇化、旅游化和信息化主导作用下,聚落保留存在明显的两级效应:多数聚落分布在地理位置相对偏僻,但人均GDP、旅游总收入和第三产业从业人数q高的区域,如雷山县、凯里市,这些聚落属于“旅游开发型”。伴随聚落文旅产业兴起,部分开发强度较大的区域存在建设过程中存在聚落空间被人为破坏的情况。同时,也有部分聚落集中分布在地理位置偏僻且经济落后的地区(如从江县、黄平县、施秉县和黎平县),这些地区的人居环境、生活生产方式及社会价值受外来文化侵蚀和旅游开发冲击影响较少,因此其空间能够延续自身原始风貌,属于“传统保护型”聚落。然而,在经济快速发展过程中,海拔高、地形起伏大、坡度陡且交通不便的聚落正面临着有机更新的内在要求以及旅游开发的外在冲击。聚落固有生活习惯与价值取向已经不能满足年轻一代的需求,导致中青年劳动者外出,最终聚落定居点消失。
黔东南苗族传统聚落空间格局的形成是自然地理环境、社会环境和经济发展的综合作用结果(图8)。其中,自然地理环境因素奠定了聚落空间格局的基本特征。首先,聚落空间分布呈显著的“近水”“靠山”以及选址在不同海拔、坡度、坡向的异质性,凸显沿等高线和水系这一独特地理单元的特性。在恶劣自然生存环境限制下,重视基本自然因素的保护与利用在一定程度上为聚落空间的兴建提供了基础与生产生活便利。社会环境因素主导了聚落内部空间组织结构的演变和文化传承。风水思想、生产生活需求和宗法制度等因素的影响使内部核心空间上“点”的聚集效应显而易见;生产空间沿巷道和水塘附近布置;内部空间组织结构没有明确的分级和清晰的街巷结构,具有一定防御功能。经济发展因素对聚落空间的发展和保护具有决定性影响。交通闭塞、经济落后等原因使得聚落空间具有较稳定的人地关系。然而,在乡村振兴背景下,聚落空间的延续与发展不再仅依赖经济发展缓慢和地理偏僻的外部环境,而是要在发展过程中提前有意识地跟上环境改变与变迁,把经济发展、文化延续、生态环境保护有机整合起来,积极探索以苗族传统文化景观为特色的旅游空间发展模式。
此外,研究仅对黔东南苗族传统聚落分布模式和空间形态进行静态分析,尚未从较长时间跨度上研究聚落空间格局动态演变,也没有根据内部属性对聚落空间进行分类研究。不同类型的聚落空间具有不同的地形地貌、地域文化和生产生活模式,所依靠的保护和发展因素亦具有一定的独特性。这将是以后研究的重点。
(1)苗族传统聚落空间分布具有明显的集聚性与等级性,主要集聚在雷山县、台江县和剑河县交汇地带,并向四周扩散。聚落集中选址在海拔500~1 000 m、地形起伏度10~20 m、坡度2°~5°和阳坡90°~270°的清水江与都柳江流域及山地丘陵谷地中。
(2)受山地环境限制和风水思想影响,苗族传统聚落选址与布局顺应自然,具有 “近水”“靠山”和沿山体等高线布局的特征。聚落内部空间组织结构呈“团聚式”组合,分为“单团聚式”和“多团聚式”。虽然聚落外部边界并不明显,但可概括为指状为主的特征形态。
(3)苗族传统聚落内部空间呈现内聚“点”的空间秩序,承载了历史演变、风水思想和生产生活方式等仪式活动,对传统文化传承和构建起到了积极作用。与“多团式”聚落相比,“单团聚式”聚落公共空间整合度更高。其全局平均整合度的红色和黄色轴线大多围绕 “芦笙坪”和“风雨桥”等公共空间节点,形成空间内聚向心感。而“多团聚式”聚落的控制轴线多为蓝青色,表示内部空间可达性较低,具有一定防御功能;整合度最高的轴线多出现在连接大小寨之间的公路,这些公路串联了聚落中其他重要巷道,沿巷道或公路附近常会布置与生产生活密切相关的节点。
(4)苗族传统聚落空间格局的形成主要是自然地理环境、社会环境和经济发展等复合因素长期共同作用的结果。自然地理环境因素是聚落空间初始形成和格局奠定的基础,社会环境因素保障了聚落内部空间的组织与演变,而经济发展因素等外部条件的改变对当前聚落空间发展和保护具有决定性影响。
