According to the challenge of monitoring the structural integrity of LNG storage tanks, persistent scatterer interferometric synthetic aperture radar (PS-InSAR) and small baseline subset InSAR (SBAS-InSAR) technologies were employed, sentinel-1A satellite imagery and digital elevation model (DEM) data were utilized to conduct deformation monitoring and stability assessment for an LNG terminal on an island in Guangxi, China. The results reveal three key findings. The maximum settlement occurrs in the LNG platform area in August, 2022, accompanied by slight uplift around the tanks. PS-InSAR detects annual deformation rates of -2.5 to 2 mm/year across 73% of the monitored area, while SBAS-InSAR indicats rates of -3.5 to 3 mm/year in 45% of the region, demonstrating overall deformation stability. Rainfall during the wet season shows a significant positive correlation with deformation magnitudes, where water infiltration increases soil pore pressure (reduced effective stress) and alters foundation bearing capacity, though no hazardous differential settlement is observed. The study demonstrates that radar interferometry enables millimeter-scale deformation monitoring across LNG storage facilities, providing critical technical support for operational safety in coastal areas with complex geological conditions.

针对液化天然气(liquefied natural gas,LNG)储罐外罐完整性监测难题,采用PS-InSAR与SBAS-InSAR技术,基于Sentinel-1A卫星影像和数字高程模型数据进行地形修正,对广西液化天然气(LNG)工程项目开展形变监测。研究表明:2022年8月LNG平台区域出现最大沉降,储罐周边伴随轻微隆起;PS-InSAR监测显示73%区域年沉降速率为-2.5~2 mm/年,SBAS-InSAR显示45%区域为-3.5~3 mm/年,整体形变稳定可控;雨季降水与形变量呈显著正相关,降雨渗透导致土体孔隙水压力提升(有效应力降低),地基承载性能变化,但未出现不均匀沉降。

According to the challenge of monitoring the structural integrity of LNG storage tanks, persistent scatterer interferometric synthetic aperture radar (PS-InSAR) and small baseline subset InSAR (SBAS-InSAR) technologies were employed, sentinel-1A satellite imagery and digital elevation model (DEM) data were utilized to conduct deformation monitoring and stability assessment for an LNG terminal on an island in Guangxi, China. The results reveal three key findings. The maximum settlement occurrs in the LNG platform area in August, 2022, accompanied by slight uplift around the tanks. PS-InSAR detects annual deformation rates of -2.5 to 2 mm/year across 73% of the monitored area, while SBAS-InSAR indicats rates of -3.5 to 3 mm/year in 45% of the region, demonstrating overall deformation stability. Rainfall during the wet season shows a significant positive correlation with deformation magnitudes, where water infiltration increases soil pore pressure (reduced effective stress) and alters foundation bearing capacity, though no hazardous differential settlement is observed. The study demonstrates that radar interferometry enables millimeter-scale deformation monitoring across LNG storage facilities, providing critical technical support for operational safety in coastal areas with complex geological conditions.

“十四五”规划提出在2060年前实现碳中和的目标,其中液化天然气(liquefied natural gas,LNG)是大力发展的清洁能源。行业数据显示,自2006年大鹏LNG接收站投产以来,中国LNG接收站的最长运营时间已经超过19年[1]。截至2024年底中国LNG接收站接收能力达到1.5亿万t/年。其中服役超过15年的储罐占比达38%,最长运营周期突破19年。面向2035年2.8亿t/年的规划目标,沿海既有接收站的扩建改造占比将超70%,这对储罐全生命周期结构安全保障提出严峻挑战[2]。LNG储罐结构健康监测技术作为其中重要组成部分,将处于重要的发展机遇期。在这一背景下,伴随沿海地区大量LNG接收站的建设,地基沉降问题逐渐成为影响储罐整体结构安全的关键因素。由于沿海地区普遍存在较为松软的土壤(如黏土和淤泥),在外部压力作用下,这些土壤容易发生压缩变形,进而导致地基沉降。因此,LNG储罐沉降监测成为保障其结构安全的关键环节。
过去几十年来,国内外学者对于地表形变监测进行了大量的研究。例如,Jiang等[3]发展了多传感器InSAR时间序列数据融合方法用于时间重叠和时间间隔数据集,以解决存在部分重叠和时间间隔的情况。基于TerraSAR-X(2015—2019)和Sentinel-1 (2019—2021)SAR数据集与已有的武汉地表变形监测进行验证。Zhang等[4]采用干涉合成孔径雷达(InSAR)技术应用于监测上海近两年的地表状况。Qiu等[5]采用全球卫星导航系统(GNSS)和干涉合成孔径雷达(InSAR)数据生成的高精度、高时空分辨率沉降时间序列数据,提出了一种时空滤波融合(STFF)方法,实现了高速铁路沿线GNSS与InSAR数据的高精度融合。Xiong等[6]以填海造地建设的厦门翔安国际机场为例,提出了利用多时相干涉合成孔径雷达(MT-InSAR)方法研究区域的沉降历史,研究表明,填海地区沉降速率最大超过40 mm/年。An等[7]对上海浦东国际机场工程进行动态沉降监测,选取Sentinel-1A雷达影像,基于PS-InSAR(persistent scatterer interferometric synthetic aperture radar)和改进型SBAS-InSAR(small baseline subset-InSAR)对周边地区进行地表变形反演,验证了InSAR时间序列技术用于海岸带基础设施地表变形动态监测的可靠性。Li等[8]采用InSAR技术对深圳市南山区后海深槽研究区地面及构筑物沉降进行监测。
张钟远等[9]采用Sentinel-1降轨数据,基于短基线子集干涉测量(SBAS-InSAR)技术对木场古滑坡进行形变监测,结合木场古滑坡的地质特征分析滑坡时序变形趋势。方迎潮等[10]基于时序合成孔径雷达干涉测量(InSAR)技术对中贵天然气天水段沿线滑坡隐患进行了解译识别、现场复核、发育特征与典型滑坡形变分析。张世昊等[11]采用Sentinel-1A影像数据,结合SBAS-InSAR技术与GACOS大气校正模型,得到水汽饱和度高的海滨城市地表形变信息,研究表明,青岛胶州湾大桥地表形变过程是非线性的,与温度变化有较高的相关关系,呈现季节性变化规律。方迎潮等[12]以不同山区地形管道为研究区,结合Sentinel-1A、Sentinel-2和ALOSDEM数据进行相关性分析,构建地表形变适用性评价指标。孙晁等[13]采用SBAS-InSAR技术提取了天津LNG码头区域的时序地表形变数据,监测表明,2019年5月—2022年4月码头区域非均匀沉降最为显著,达-394 mm,地表形变特征与降水量关系显著。张攀等[14]采用SBAS-InSAR技术结合高分辨率光学遥感影像、无人机航空摄影测量对库区典型活动滑坡变形与水位变化响应关系进行分析,研究表明,坡体变形与库水位快速下降存在正相关关系。卢琳等[15]对天津南港LNG接收站进行沉降监测,研究表明,光照对沉降数值有周期性变化规律,风向和风速对沉降监测数据影响较小。金樱等[16]对某接收站13个沉降监测点位布设进行研究,提出基于北斗的自动化监测方法,确定了接收站地基与储罐沉降自动化监测布点方案。杨佳艺等[17]采用InSAR技术,基于升降轨C波段Sentinel-1A数据,研究车邑坪滑坡位移时序演化结果。黄煜峰[18]采用InSAR技术监测建筑地基沉降,试验表明,该方法测量沉降中心误差为0.09%。董建军等[19]采用SBAS-InSAR技术研究平顶山市某下伏采空区变电站地表沉降。林睿南等[20]基于现场调查设计了一套基于物联网云平台的天然气站场沉降监测与报警系统。
上述采用InSAR技术的地表形变监测主要集中于城市地基沉降和机场项目中,目前关于LNG储罐工程项目方面InSAR沉降监测研究应用十分有限。本文以广西液化天然气LNG项目为工程依托,采用非接触式PS-InSAR和SBAS-InSAR技术对广西液化天然气LNG项目进行地表和罐体形变分析。开发一种基于InSAR技术和激光雷达点云技术的监测方法,以实现对地表和LNG储罐形变的精确、高效监测,同时降低监测成本和人力投入。
本文通过两种InSAR技术对广西液化天然气LNG项目进行变形监测,采用PS点沉降分析技术,对覆盖这一区域的“哨兵一号”数据进行处理,从而获得研究区域内LNG储罐及所处地面形变。具体分析多个典型的PS监测点的形变趋势,为LNG储罐的安全性做出预警。结合机载雷达点云数据进行LNG储罐建模。如图1所示。
合成孔径雷达干涉技术[19]是利用SAR技术发展起来的新的近地观测技术,它是通过对相同地物的两个回波信号进行地表几何测量,通过SAR数据量不断增大,消除相干影响。后来,国内外学者又在此基础上提出了时间序列InSAR技术分析方法,将PS-InSAR和SBAS-InSAR技术应用于点目标和分布目标的基础上。本文使用的卫星影像来自ASF官网Sentinel-1A卫星。Sentinel-1A采用12 d的重访周期进行全球成像,具体参数如表1所示。
数字高程模型(digital elevation model, DEM)[11]是通过地形高程数据对地面地形进行模拟。本文DEM数据是从SRTM瓷砖抓取器中下载研究区域对应的4块tiff文件,将文件通过Seamless Mosaic模块进行拼接并导出为软件格式,如图2所示。
PS-InSAR是一种基于干涉合成孔径雷达(SAR)数据的地表变形监测技术[11]。其流程包括连接图生成、第一次反演、第二次反演、地理编码,如图3所示。
首先,生成SAR数据对和连接图,用于差分干涉测量,采用自动选择主图像的方法,设置临界阈值对,并将其他数据与超级主图像的主从数据进行比较。连接图是对时间序列SAR图像间的相互关系的表示,每个图像是一个节点,每对干涉图像形成一条边,由各图像拍摄时间和几何参数形成连接图。连接图的设计对后续干涉对选择和位移反演结果有影响。
临界极限阈值设置为500%,基线阈值为临界基线的5倍,后续步骤中所有的数据都将根据主从关系配准到超级主影像上。图4中超级主影像为2022年4月1号的影像,图4(a)图4(b)分别为PS方法生成的时间基线图和空间基线图,每个点为一景影像,黄色点为主影像,绿色点为从影像。
第一次反演用线性模型从所有差分干涉图中估算形变速率和残余高程信息,对相干性高的像元进行计算。PS技术的独特特征是利用密集分布的散射体可以移除信号传播延迟引起的波动,这个延迟主要是由于对流层的水汽变化引起的。
由于沿海地区大气影响较大,需要大气改正数据,在得到初步的PS点后,对这些点的相位进行第二次反演。由第一次反演结果进一步估算目标高程和视向方向上的形变速率,同时进一步去除大气延迟、地球曲率和DEM误差等因素,得到更精确地表位移信息,生成最终形变结果。
将处理得到的结果从SAR坐标系投影到地理坐标系,便于观测、分析和制图。一个好的PS候选者必须足够稳定,可选择储罐、岩石、接收站内人造建筑等。
SBAS-InSAR是一种基于干涉合成孔径雷达(SAR)数据的地表变形监测技术,它是PS-InSAR的一种改进方法。SBAS-InSAR利用多个小基线(small baseline)的干涉图像子集,通过相位延迟变化来检测地表的形变。该技术在近年得到了广泛的研究和应用,并不断发展。未来的发展方向包括提高数据处理的自动化程度、提高精度和分辨率、改善对非线性变形的监测能力等。随着新一代SAR卫星的发展和数据获取技术的进步,SBAS-InSAR技术将继续为地表变形监测提供重要的工具和方法。主要步骤有连接图生成、第一次反演、第二次反演、地理编码。如图5所示。
生成连接图,这一步骤的作用是选择最强连接图作为主影像,其他数据作为从影像。每个图像是一个节点,每对干涉图像形成一条边。在SBAS方法中,因为需要考虑小基线,所以在形成连接图时会尽量选择拍摄时间和几何参数(如基线)差别小的图像对,如图6所示。
第一次反演是SBAS的核心,其首次估计变形速率和残余地形,并通过二次展开优化输入干涉图,通过对干涉图中每个像素的相位信息进行第一次反演,以获取初步的地表位移信息。这个步骤涉及相位解缠和对大气、地形等干扰因素的初步校正。
第二次反演的核心是计算时间序列上的位移。基于第一次反演中获得的位移,对数据进行第二次反演,进一步去除大气、地形等因素的影响。本文使用GCP在轨精炼和重去平来去除残余相位和相位斜率,大气低通滤波和高通滤波窗口分别为1 200 m和365 d。
通过高度和速率精度阈值对结果进行选择性输出,将处理后的位移数据从SAR坐标系转换到地理坐标系下,使得每个像素可以对应真实的地理位置。
机载激光雷达点云数据处理流程如图7所示,机载激光雷达点云根据无人机的GNSS和IMU数据解算出轨迹,得到每帧点云在空间中的位置和姿态,从而将多帧点云配准在同一坐标系下。机载激光雷达点云以航带为单位进行解算,解算后的点云根据高度进行统一着色,方便后续进行整体配准。
InSAR沉降速率结果如图8所示。
PS-InSAR和SBAS-InSAR技术均在2022年8月前后检测到LNG平台最大沉降量,SBAS-InSAR技术表明储罐附近有轻微的隆起。在形变率分布方面,PS-InSAR在73.1%区域沉降量为-2.5~2.0 mm/年,SBAS-InSAR在45.2%区域沉降量为-3.5~3.0 mm/年。形变稳定性好。尽管在-2.5~2.0 mm/y的面积比例存在显著差异,但两种时间分析方法之间总体上是一致的。差异原因可能是在处理方法和相干点阈值设置上的不同而造成数据分布不同,虽然后期均会进行插值处理,但手动选取和软件自动提取的过程仍会增大误差,最终导致两者之间的差异。
选取2号罐体进行形变分析过程如下,首先将卫星影像与PS点配准,再将机载点云数据进行点云封装,与遥感地图影像进行纹理贴图,为了在罐体上更明确地标示PS点的位置,在三维模型上进行像素级别的标注,如图9所示。
图9可知,PS点主要集中在罐体顶部的边缘区域,说明该区域能提供更为稳定反射形变信息。为便于进一步分析,选取2号罐2020年8月—2023年10月9个观测点进行形变分析,如图10所示。
图10可知,观测点的峰值集中在2021年10月—2022年8月。2021年10月数据显示,雨天占比为51.6%;2022年8月,雷阵雨及大到暴雨占比分别为46.8%和14.5%。可以推测出雨季降雨量与沉降数值呈现显著正相关。雨季降雨导致土壤中水分增加,从而引起孔隙水压力的增大,随着孔隙水压力增大,有效应力减少,进而影响土体的承载能力,导致LNG储罐周围地基的变形和隆起。
图11所示,无论各点是否在罐体上,各点位年平均形变量都在-2.0~2.0 mm/年,表明某岛地区LNG储罐的沉降变形与气候和降水量变化相关,不是极端条件下的剧烈变形。《建筑变形测量规范》(JGJ8-2016)规定沉降速度小于0.01~0.04 mm/d认为建筑已进入稳定阶段,对应年沉降量为3.65~14.60 mm/年。由此可知本次监测LNG储罐工程沉降属于稳定状态,未发生不均匀沉降。
本文提出了将PS-InSAR、SBAS-InSAR和激光雷达点云技术应用于LNG工程沉降监测的技术图路线和方法,采用合成孔径雷达干涉技术将PS-InSAR和SBAS-InSAR技术应用于LNG储罐工程长期监测、地面形变评估。以广西液化天然气LNG项目为工程依托,进行地面和罐体形变分析,得到以下结论。
(1)广西液化天然气LNG项目采用PS-InSAR和SBAS-InSAR技术均在2022年8月前后检测到LNG平台最大沉降量,SBAS-InSAR技术表明储罐附近有轻微的隆起。在变形率分布方面,PS-InSAR在73.1%区域沉降量为-2.5~2.0 mm/年,SBAS-InSAR在45.2%沉降量为-3.5~3.0 mm/年。形变稳定性较好。
(2)储罐形变观测点的峰值集中在2021年10月至2022年8月。2021年10月数据显示,雨天占比为51.6%;2022年8月,雷阵雨及大到暴雨占比分别为46.8%和14.5%。可以推测出雨季降雨量对沉降数值具有强关联性影响。雨季降雨导致土壤中水分增加,从而引起孔隙水压力增大,有效应力减少,进而影响土体的承载能力,导致LNG储罐周围地基的变形和隆起,沉降变形与气候和降水量变化相关,不是极端条件下的剧烈变形。各点位年平均形变量都在-2~2 mm/年,LNG储罐工程沉降属于稳定状态,未发生不均匀沉降。
(3)本文采用非接触式PS-InSAR和SBAS-InSAR两种技术方法对广西液化天然气LNG项目进行大面积区域地表的LNG罐进行罐体、地面形变状况评估,提高了工作效率和监测精度,降低了成本,实现了远程监测,提高了监测的灵活性和效率,取得了良好的工程效益,为相关LNG工程提供借鉴方法。
