This study aimed to compare the efficacies of the two treatments on scapulohumeral periarthritis with different pain degrees. Indicators included the VAS, Constant shoulder score, range of motion (ROM), etc. The results showed that in patients with mild and moderate pain, there was no significant difference in VAS or Constant scores between the two groups, but the ROM of the acupuncture group was more improved. In patients with severe pain, the VAS of the acupuncture group was higher than that of the control group, and its Constant score was lower than that of the control group, no difference of ROM was found between the two groups. This study suggests that the acupuncture treatment acquires a better efficacy in patients with scapulohumeral periarthritis who had a mild to moderate pain, while NSAIDs acquires a better efficacy in 针灸穴位及口服非甾体类抗炎药物(NSAIDs)均是肩周炎的保守治疗方式。通过前瞻性非随机对照临床试验,将肩周炎患者作为研究对象,分为对照组(口服塞来昔布)和针灸组(针刺肩髃、肩髎、肩前穴),并根据疼痛视觉模拟评分(VAS)将每组分为轻、中、重度疼痛3个亚组,旨在比较2种治疗方式对不同疼痛程度肩周炎的疗效。指标包括: VAS、Constant肩关节评分、肩关节活动度(ROM)等。结果显示:轻、中度疼痛者中的VAS、Constant评分未见组间差异,但针灸组的ROM更大;重度疼痛者中,针灸组的VAS高于对照组,其Constant评分低于对照组,两组ROM无组间差异。研究表明,轻中度疼痛的肩周炎患者采用针灸治疗的疗效更佳,而重度疼痛的肩周炎患者采用NSAIDs的疗效更佳。
