This paper introduces two approaches to waste salt recycling and treatments in detail, that is, the high temperature pyrolysis+brine purification process and the resin adsorption+advanced oxidation process Several application cases are taken to analyze and find the reason for their low rates of waste salt resource utilization. It turns out that the treatment and reuse of waste salt lack related standards and regulations, on the other hand, economical and practical technology for massive application is still unavailable.
