This paper reviews the incidence and distribution characteristics of sports injuries from studies of Winter Olympic Games. In view of their high incidence of injuries and high level of attention in China, the skiing, the speed skating, the figure skating, and the ice hockey are discussed in detail with regard to the history of development and the event characteristics, the incidence and the mechanism of injuries.
