东半球空间环境地基综合监测子午链项目（简称“子午工程”）是中国空间天气领域首个国家重大科技基础设施建设项目。子午工程具有多部门共建共管、地域跨度广、监测手段多、设备种类多等特点，由此带来工程建设组织管理方面的一系列挑战。在充分借鉴和融合科研管理与工程管理思想和方法的基础上，探索性地形成一套符合子午工程特点的三维一体“矩阵式”管理模式，有效地应对工程建设管理所面临的各种挑战。
The Eastern Hemisphere Space Environment Integrated Monitoring Meridian Chain Project (the Meridian Project) is the first national major science and technology infrastructure project in the space weather field.
