Through combining the attribute of safety science with the information asymmetry theory, the significance of the establishment of safety information is explained. In addition, from the view of the information asymmetry, the definition and the connotation of the safety information science are proposed. The basic problems of the subject of the safety information science are discussed. The theoretical basis, the subject base and the frame system of the safety information theory are established. The general procedure of the safety information science is created. It is shown that the combination of the information theory and the safety science has a profound theoretical significance.
