It is always a mystery for human beings. Recently, scientists have discovered abundant pure water ice in the exposed scraps in the mid-latitude region. This article presented the results and what have been discovered. We discussed the proof of exposed ice in the observed material. The formation of ice scraps and the history of ice records, were also discussed.
