This paper proposes a complete intercept flight test method to reduce the costs and shorten the certification period. The intercept flight procedures of take-off and approach noise measurement test were established based on the establishment principle of equivalent aircraft noise certification procedures approved by International Civil Aviation Organization. The method for determining 10 dB-down period is summarized with a specific type of jet as example.
