Different oxidants like the modified Fenton reagent, activated persulfate and permanganate are evaluated for removal of Bap. from drinking water and the kinetic law of Bap Oxidation is studied. The result shows that modified Fenton reagent has the highest Bap removal rate (90.3%). The removal of Bap by activated persulfate reaches 86.9%. Permanganate can remove 76.7% of Bap. The removal of Bap with these oxidants obeys the first-order kinetics and the curve between the reaction rate constant and temperature is shown using Arrhenius.
