    震源机制解研究是认识地震发震断层的重要手段,也是理解深部构造应力和地震发震机理的重要依据。2013年4月20日四川芦山发生Ms 7.0级地震,利用近震直达P波初动极性反演了地震机制解,同时利用全球地震台网波形记录,反演了地震机制解和矩心深度。两种方法所得发震断层走向倾角滑动角分别为208°/41°/98°和220°/46°/93°,表明这次地震为一高角度逆冲型地震,远震波形反演得到的矩心深度为12km。

    Focal mechanism provides key information on seismogenic fault and helps to understand tectonic stress field and .
