The general formulation for different pressure flowmeter and the formula for the spindle are derived. The numerical simulation was conducted. The results indicate that an annular channel flow is formed in conditions of regular and aberrant coming stream, which makes it possible to improve the repeatability and precision of measurement. The ratio of non-recovered pressure drop to differential pressure obtained as an output from spindle is much less than orifice plate, especially at higher Reynolds Number.
