This megalopolis plays a significant role in China; however, industries in the ten cities differ a lot. In the paper this megalopolis is divided into four districts of different industrial types in terms of the state and potential of the industries and the functions the cities bear. Among the four districts, the Jing-Jin-Langfang region is where the modern service industry and hi-tech industries congregate and develop, the region of Shijiazhuang, Baodin and Cangzhou will focus on developing modern manufacturing industries, the region of Tangshan and Qinhuangdao will optimize and upgrade the heavy and chemical industries, and the region of Zhangjiakou and Chengde in the north
