    冬虫夏草为非常珍贵的天然药材,资源严重缺乏,价格已超过黄金,无法满足社会需求。因北虫草的化学成分和药理功能与冬虫夏草非常相似,其主要功能活性物质含量高于天然冬虫夏草,被作为冬虫夏草的最佳替代品,受到广泛关注和重视,本文总结了近年来北虫草及其生物活性成分的研究与开发结果。

    Cordyceps militaris has been demonstrated to be the best substitute for C. sinensis, one of the top famous rare and endangered species of Chinese traditional medicines with a market price of higher than gold, as both of them have similar chemical components and medical functions. C. militaris has attracted more and more researchers and enterprenuers. This article summarizes research and product development on C. militris and its bioactive substances.
