Perimenopausal EMS patients are prone to postoperative Qi and blood deficiency, leading to recurrence, perimenopausal syndrome, poor surgical incision healing, and other complications, which are harmful to overall recovery. This article reviews the application value and potential mechanisms of Chinese medicine in postoperative treatment of perimenopausal EMS patients. It is found that the postoperative application of internal and external therapies of Chinese medicine for perimenopausal EMS can achieve both internal and external outcomes based on syndrome differentiation and staging.
