The contents, include the research progress in clinical registration of traditional Chinese medicine at home and abroad in the past 20 years, the clinical research progress in the treatment of infectious diseases and chronic non infectious diseases, research and application progress of standardization of traditional Chinese medicine, research and application progress of new technologies in traditional Chinese medicine, and the "the Belt and Road Initiative" promoting the development of clinical research of traditional Chinese medicine in China. The results show that the clinical research and innovation achievements of Chinese medicine in the past 20 years have provided an important scientific and technological guarantee for inheritance, innovation and development of Chinese medicine.
