One sees an inverted U-shaped relationship between the levels of the economic development and the environmental pollution, and it is a single threshold nonlinear relationship based on the urban innovation behavior. Only when the level of the urban innovation crosses the threshold value, the economic development has a significant inhibitory effect on the environmental pollution. In the sample range, the level of the urban innovation constantly crosses the threshold, and the number of cities in the eastern region with the level of the urban innovation crossing the threshold is larger than those in the central and western regions. The industrial structure upgrading and the population agglomeration also help to reduce the environmental pollution, while the increase of the energy consumption will aggravate the environmental pollution. For all cities, the level of the urban innovation should be improved, to speed up the optimization and the upgrading of the industrial structure and to promote the development of green economy., 基于2005—2016年285个城市面板数据研究城市创新行为、经济发展与环境污染3者之间的互动关系,并运用面板门槛模型以城市创新行为作为门槛,验证经济发展与环境污染之间的非线性关系。结果表明:经济发展水平与环境污染之间仍呈现“倒U型”关系,且存在基于城市创新行为的单门槛非线性关系,仅当城市创新水平跨越门槛值后,经济发展才对环境污染具有显著抑制作用;样本区间内城市创新水平不断跨过门槛值,东部地区跨过门槛值的城市高于中西部地区;产业结构升级和人口集聚效应同样有助于降低环境污染,而能源消耗的增加则会加剧环境污染;各城市应重点提升城市创新水平,加快产业结构优化升级,推进绿色经济发展。
