This paper presents the key elements involved in the GHG emission calculation for the bioenergy sustainable certification. Firstly, the general method of the GHG calculation is briefly presented. Then, based on the review of the methodologies of the bioenergy sustainability standards developed by the institutions in the world, the key elements of the calculation methodology are identified and analyzed.
