To address the problems of low time-frequency resolution and cross-term interference in the identification and localization of subway cable defects using time-frequency domain reflectometry (TFDR), this paper proposed a parameterized resampling time-frequency transform (PRTF) method as a time-frequency analysis approach for TFDR test signals. The PRTF method employed a Gaussian-envelope linear frequency modulation signal as the test signal, combined it with a dynamic resampling operator and an adaptive time-frequency atomic decomposition technique, and further introduced a normalized time-frequency cross-correlation function. By extracting time-delay information from local peaks, accurate defect localization was achieved. Simulation experiments were conducted on a flexible control cable in flame-retardant class B1 for subways, and a defect was preset at a distance of 3 900 m from the head end to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. The results show that compared with the traditional Wigner-Ville distribution (WVD), short-time Fourier transform (STFT), and continuous wavelet transform (CWT) methods, the proposed method achieves a localization error of only 5.5 m, and its time-frequency cross-correlation function curve is free of interference terms. In contrast, the WVD method suffers from significant interference terms, while the localization errors of the STFT and CWT methods both exceed 16 m. The proposed method significantly improves the detection sensitivity and localization reliability of weak local defects in subway cables.

针对时频域反射法(TFDR)在识别和定位地铁电缆缺陷时的时频分辨率较低、存在交叉项干扰等问题,本文提出参数化重采样时频变换(PRTF)方法作为TFDR测试信号的时频分析方法。PRTF方法采用高斯包络线性调频信号作为测试信号,并结合动态重采样算子与自适应时频原子分解技术,进一步引入归一化时频互相关函数,通过局部峰值提取时延信息,以实现缺陷点的精准定位。仿真实验以地铁用阻燃B1级柔性控制电缆为研究对象,在距离首端3 900 m处预设缺陷,以验证本文方法的有效性。结果表明:与传统Wigner-Ville分布(WVD)、短时傅里叶变换(STFT)及连续小波变换(CWT)方法相比,本文方法定位误差仅为5.5 m,且时频互相关函数曲线无干扰项,而WVD方法存在明显干扰项,STFT和CWT方法的定位误差均大于16 m。本文方法显著提高了地铁电缆微弱局部缺陷的检测灵敏度与定位可靠性。

针对时频域反射法(TFDR)在识别和定位地铁电缆缺陷时的时频分辨率较低、存在交叉项干扰等问题,本文提出参数化重采样时频变换(PRTF)方法作为TFDR测试信号的时频分析方法。PRTF方法采用高斯包络线性调频信号作为测试信号,并结合动态重采样算子与自适应时频原子分解技术,进一步引入归一化时频互相关函数,通过局部峰值提取时延信息,以实现缺陷点的精准定位。仿真实验以地铁用阻燃B1级柔性控制电缆为研究对象,在距离首端3 900 m处预设缺陷,以验证本文方法的有效性。结果表明:与传统Wigner-Ville分布(WVD)、短时傅里叶变换(STFT)及连续小波变换(CWT)方法相比,本文方法定位误差仅为5.5 m,且时频互相关函数曲线无干扰项,而WVD方法存在明显干扰项,STFT和CWT方法的定位误差均大于16 m。本文方法显著提高了地铁电缆微弱局部缺陷的检测灵敏度与定位可靠性。

To address the problems of low time-frequency resolution and cross-term interference in the identification and localization of subway cable defects using time-frequency domain reflectometry (TFDR), this paper proposed a parameterized resampling time-frequency transform (PRTF) method as a time-frequency analysis approach for TFDR test signals. The PRTF method employed a Gaussian-envelope linear frequency modulation signal as the test signal, combined it with a dynamic resampling operator and an adaptive time-frequency atomic decomposition technique, and further introduced a normalized time-frequency cross-correlation function. By extracting time-delay information from local peaks, accurate defect localization was achieved. Simulation experiments were conducted on a flexible control cable in flame-retardant class B1 for subways, and a defect was preset at a distance of 3 900 m from the head end to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. The results show that compared with the traditional Wigner-Ville distribution (WVD), short-time Fourier transform (STFT), and continuous wavelet transform (CWT) methods, the proposed method achieves a localization error of only 5.5 m, and its time-frequency cross-correlation function curve is free of interference terms. In contrast, the WVD method suffers from significant interference terms, while the localization errors of the STFT and CWT methods both exceed 16 m. The proposed method significantly improves the detection sensitivity and localization reliability of weak local defects in subway cables.

我国城市地铁及基础设施建设正快速推进,其中作为地铁列车能量供给来源的供电系统,其稳定性与可靠性受到越来越多的关注[1-2]。作为城市轨道交通系统的“能量心脏”,地铁供电系统不仅承担着电动列车动力系统的电力传输功能,更是整条线路运行保障体系的供给能源。因要应对多种用电需求,地铁供电系统要兼顾不同电压等级且符合各类用电制式的要求。随着地铁线路的延伸,地铁电缆运行环境愈发复杂,电缆受到各方面的高温、机械和化学应力的影响。如果长期处于复杂工况下,电缆的主绝缘和外护套可能会出现故障,而这些故障最终可能会影响电力输送系统,甚至引发严重的停电事故[3-5]。因此,开展针对电力电缆微弱局部故障的高效、精准的监测技术研究,对于保障城市地铁线路电力供应的稳定性与可靠性具有重要意义。
结合时域反射法(time domain reflectometry,TDR)[6-7]和频域反射法(frequency domain reflectometry,FDR)[8-9],以及行波传播理论的电缆故障定位方法,已成为当今电缆故障诊断的重要工具。TDR法采用单极性脉冲信号作为入射信号,通过测量反射信号的时延特性和波形畸变实现电缆状态分析。但是其单极性脉冲信号的频谱能量主要集中于低频区段,因此该方法对高频区段的响应灵敏度不足,在检测电缆微小缺陷时分辨率不足。FDR法可以更准确地捕捉到反射信号的宽频带谱特征,从而实现对反射系数谱、宽频阻抗谱等信息的完整检测[10]。但在实际应用中,随着高频电磁波信号频率的增加,信号在长距离传输中的衰减效应会显著降低频域特征的可辨识度[11],加之FDR法抗干扰能力较弱,导致缺陷位置的定位精度不足。无论是TDR还是FDR方法,均是从时域或频域的单一维度来分析反射信号,忽略了反射信号中蕴含的跨域互补信息与多维度特征。这种局限性限制了电缆缺陷检测的准确性,不能充分发掘和利用反射信号所蕴含的大量信息,为电缆缺陷检测与定位的进一步精细化与智能化发展留下了空间。
随着电力、通信领域对高精度故障诊断需求的增长,时频域反射法(TFDR)的理论与应用范围在近年来的系统性研究中得到显著拓展。TFDR技术采用高斯包络的线性调频信号,具有更高的精度,可以更准确地捕捉TDR和FDR所产生的复杂光谱。TFDR兼具时域分辨率与频域分辨率,入射信号与反射信号在时频域对应。TFDR应用于电力电缆故障检测的有效性已在工程实践中得到证实,如在高温超导电缆、深海敷设电缆和核设施专用电缆等。TFDR既能够有效提取和诊断多维故障特征参数,还可以建立基于材料老化机制的寿命预测模型,解决电缆系统复杂工况的可靠性评估问题[12-14]。过去,TFDR采用Wigner-Ville分布方法(WVD)分析反射信号,但是该方法属于二次型变换方法,对多分量信号会产生叠加效应,最终影响电缆缺陷的检测精度。文献[15]提出利用短时傅里叶变换对入射、反射信号进行分析,但因短时傅里叶变换存在窗宽固定、无法对时域和频域分辨率进行自适应调节的缺点,导致时频分辨能力受限。文献[16]提出利用小波变换,但其性能受限于小波基,不合适的小波基选择将大幅降低其检测性能,不具有自适应性,难以适应各种不同工程环境。
为解决TFDR方法无法有效发现和识别电缆中的微弱缺陷的问题,本文提出一种将参数化重采样时频变换(parameterized resampling time-frequency transform,PRTF)和TFDR相结合的新方法,以更准确地识别和发现电缆中的缺陷。首先获得电缆线路中的反射信号,利用PRTF处理得到其时频分布特征,然后利用归一化时频互相关函数得到可视化的定位曲线,实现对电缆缺陷的精确定位。
根据传输线理论[17],电缆线路可看作由无数个单位电阻(R)与单位电感(L)串联、单位电导(G)与单位电容(C)并联而成,该网络亦被称为分布参数模型,如图1所示。
图1中,x为信号沿正方向传输的距离;x为单位长度;U(x)为某处对地电压。
根据图1,可以用式(1)~(4)来估测每条电缆的电阻、电感、电导和电容参数。

若电力电缆某处存在局部缺陷,该部位的传输特性将随之改变,按照式(5),相关特征参数也同步变化,结合波传播理论,在电缆内部会直接形成一处突变点[19]。对于TFDR所发射的高频信号,该传输特性的突变点将表现为一个反射点,并将该部分信号能量反射回来。因此,通过对TFDR发射信号及反射信号的观测与分析,就可以准确地识别出这个传输特性突变点的位置,从而达到对电缆局部缺陷位置定位的目的。
TFDR采用的入射信号具体为一种高斯包络线性调频信号[20-21],该信号在时间与频率两个维度上都具有紧致特性。高斯包络的作用在于限制调频信号的持续时长及其幅度,使之集中于特定的局部范围。入射信号s(t)、持续时间Ts和频率带宽Bs的数学表达形式分别为式(6)~(7)。

通过TFDR方法,可以使用WVD分布来分析信号的时频特性。其中,TDR采用连续时间域的阶跃波形。由于理想的阶跃波形在频域中占据整个频谱带宽,TDR在解析频域细节时无法区分频域中的不同成分。FDR采用带宽明确的线性调频正弦波,这种波形在时域上是无限延续的,但FDR在解析时域细节时,无法准确捕捉时域中的变化。而TFDR信号在两个维度上均具备一定的宽度,在时频域范围内均有一定的分辨能力。

图2可以看出,相较于传统的TDR与FDR,TFDR采用的参考信号具有突出优点,其在时域和频域上均具备紧凑的支撑性,这意味着其能在保持较高时域分辨率的同时,也具备良好的频域分辨率,从而更有效地定位电缆中的微弱缺陷。另外可根据实际的测试环境对参考信号的持续时间以及频率带宽进行调节,以进行更加优质的时频分布特点调整,确保达到对缺陷的最佳分辨率。图3为TFDR参考信号在时域、频域和时频域上的分布情况。
参数化重采样时频变换(PRTF)方法[22-23]可以将信号从时域转换到时频域,展示信号在不同频率和时间上的特性。PRTF方法通过使用响应函数对广义参数化时频变换(GPTF)进行参数化拟合,用参数化核表示重采样函数,然后构造时变和时不变重采样算子来消除中频变化并重新定位中频位置。这些算子可以同时提高时频表示(TFR)中多个分量的能量集中度,为后续的时频分析奠定基础。PRTF方法在处理复杂的非平稳信号上表现出色,不仅可以提供更好的时域和频域分析,而且还显著优于传统傅里叶变换。

式(9)~(10)中:GPTFκpz表示z(τ)被分析的信号;zt,Ρτ是原始信号经过旋转算子和平移算子作用后的中间信号;κP(t)是被参数P定义的递增可积变换核函数;g*(τ-t)是高斯窗函数g(τ-t)的共轭函数;ФPR(τ)Фt,PS(τ)分别是基于变换核的旋转算子和平移算子。
GPTF变换利用旋转算子ФPR(τ)将任意时刻的信号瞬时频率减去κP(t),再利用平移算子Фt,PS(τ)平移旋转后的瞬时频率,最终使用高斯窗函数g(τ-t)对信号进行短时傅里叶变换;GPTF可实现非线性中频的高时频分辨率。然而GPTF受限于旋转和移位解调,只适用于单分量信号。“旋转”是将当前中频减去一个时变函数κP(τ),相当于在每个时间点以不同的方式旋转中频并改变其形状。“移位解调”是指在旋转后的中频中加入一个常数κP(t)而不改变其形状。针对多分量信号场景下时频分析的需求,本文引入基于参数化核的动态重采样机制,构建参数化重采样时频变换(PRTF),其数学表达如式(11)~(12)所示。

式(11)~(12)中:(PRTFrPs)表示s(τ)被分析的信号;μP是基于核函数rP(t)导数的归一化重采样尺度因子;rP是基于核的参数化再采样函数;sg,t(τ)表示窗口化的信号;UrP是基于内核的时变重采样运算符;UμP是基于内核的时不变重采样运算符。
与GPTF变换中的中频加减法不同,时变重采样算子通过将中频除以κP(τ)来消除中频变化,而时不变重采样算子通过将中频乘以κP(τ)来恢复时间点t的原始中频。适当的重采样函数rP可以提高TFR的能量集中度。若信号重采样为平稳信号,则可采用更宽的窗口以提高频率分辨率,而连续重采样函数本身又能保证较高的时间分辨率。从能量角度来看,当内核选取适当时,窗口化信号各分量的能量将集中于单一频率点,从而提升频谱集中度。
由于信号在电缆中传输存在衰减效应与色散效应,信号的幅值将出现一定程度的衰减,相位也会产生偏移,TFDR入射信号的时间中心与频率中心均将改变。故本文引入归一化时频互相关函数Csr(τ)对信号时频域的相似性进行计算,通过归一化时频互相关函数可以有效分析入射信号和反射信号的时频域特征,从而精确定位电缆的故障点[24],表达式见式(13)。

式(13)中:Ts表示信号的时宽;Ps(t, ɷ)、Pr(t, ɷ)分别代表入射信号和反射信号的PRTF时频分布;EsEr(τ)表示入射、反射信号的时频能量。通过对时间相关函数进行归一化处理,可以将EsEr(τ)的值限制在0~1,从而方便地比较两者的时间能量。具体表达式见式(14)。

电缆缺陷定位可通过时频互相关分析实现,具体方法为:首先基于归一化时频互相关曲线T(t)的局部峰值特征确定入射与反射信号的时延Δt,继而根据电磁波在电缆介质中的传播速率v,通过时延-距离换算公式(式(15))即可获得缺陷点距测试端的精确距离(d)。

首先研究本文PRTF方法和TFDR方法对电缆缺陷定位的优越性。根据文献[25]提出的参考信号参数设计规律,对本文较长电缆线路的测试信号进行参数设计,本文构建了两组高斯包络线性调频信号s1s2,其中s1s2的中心频率为5 MHz,频率带宽为2 MHz,信号时长为10 μs,中心时间分别为3 μs和8 μs;幅值分别为1 V和0.8 V。不同中心时间用来模拟入射信号和反射信号的时延;不同幅值用来模拟入射信号和反射信号的的衰减效应。基于此,得到s1s2在时域中的观测波形图像,如图4所示。
Wigner-Ville分布、短时傅里叶变换、连续小波变换以及本文方法的时频分布如图5所示。
根据图5可知,本文方法较其他方法具备较高的分辨率。当使用WVD方法处理复杂信号时,由于其二次型变换的特性,其时频分布不再遵循线性叠加原则,时频分布中出现了明显的干扰项,极易造成故障的误判。短时傅里叶变换(STFT)方法在处理非平稳信号时,由于窗口大小固定,无法随频率变化而调整,不能很好地反映信号的瞬时特征,导致时频分辨率较低。连续小波变换(CWT)方法通过在时间轴上平移和尺度变换小波函数,将信号分解为一系列小波函数的线性组合,能够同时提供信号在时间和频率上的局部化信息,但由于CWT的时间积分区间为负无穷大至正无穷大,而实际采集到的信号是有限长的,这就导致在信号的首尾部分进行变换时会产生较大的误差,致使时频分布的精度受到影响。通过本文所提PRTF方法,在不出现交叉项干扰的前提下,能有效地聚焦线性调频信号的时频能量,提高时频分辨率,s1s2的时频特征明显。
本研究采用EMTDC/PSCAD电磁仿真软件,对一种地铁用阻燃B1级柔性控制电缆进行了缺陷定位研究,其结构如图6所示,主要由导线、内部绝缘层、外部绝缘层、阻燃包带和护套构成。仿真电缆模型总长度为8 000 m,设置在距离首端3 900 m处存在缺陷[26]
在仿真测试平台上,采用1.2.2节所述高斯包络线性调频信号作为入射信号,采用100 MHz的采样频率来收集信号。图7为反射波的时域响应特征,实验结果表明,时域波形虽能呈现信号传播过程中的基本反射现象,但受限于单一时域维度的信息熵约束,其对于微弱缺陷引起的非平稳信号扰动表现出较低的特征敏感性,因而不能直接在时域波形中准确识别仿真电缆模型的微弱缺陷特征。
本文旨在通过对比多种方法的信号表征能力,并利用Cohen类时频分布理论和WVD、STFT、CWT等技术,来研究图7中的TFDR模拟波形。图8分别展示了各算法的归一化时频互相关函数曲线。从图8可以看出,缺陷定位于3900 m处时,所有方法的定位曲线都出现了局部峰值。虽然WVD方法在时频聚集性方面表现出优秀的特性,但其产生的交叉项干扰会导致误判,而本文方法通过构建动态重采样算子与自适应时频原子分解的协同优化框架,克服了WVD、STFT、CWT方法在电缆局部缺陷定位方面的局限性。
不同方法的定位性能明显存在差异。WVD方法能够有效地检测出电缆缺陷的位置,但由于其时频互相关函数曲线中存在明显的干扰项,导致定位结果的准确性受到影响,从而降低其可靠性。STFT方法和CWT方法分别将缺陷位置定位在3 821.5 m处和3 916.75 m处,与真实位置存在较大偏差。而本文方法定位性能卓越,其时频互相关函数曲线没有出现干扰项,从而确保了定位的准确性,缺陷定位在3 905.5 m处,与实际位置只有5.5 m的偏差。以上结果表明,本文方法在利用TFDR测试信号进行电缆局部缺陷定位方面具有明显优势。
为验证本文方法对实际地铁电力电缆缺陷定位的有效性,以高性能计算机、电缆故障监测终端组建了缺陷检测平台,如图9所示。
电缆故障监测终端集成了信号发生器、信号采集器,能一体化实现信号的生成与采集工作。首先利用高性能计算机中的MATLAB软件生成高斯包络线性调频信号并载入到监测终端,通过T型接头注入被测电缆中。然后监测终端中的信号采集器模块将采集并记录测试端因电缆阻抗不连续产生的反射信号,并将其传输至高性能计算机。最后计算机对比分析入射信号和反射信号,确定电缆缺陷位置。
本文利用图9所示测试平台对某地铁用阻燃B1级柔性控制电缆开展缺陷定位的测试,电缆长度约为7000 m。基于地铁电缆的敷设环境与工程实际运行情况综合分析,地铁电缆发生概率最高的故障一般为高阻故障,如腐蚀性故障、高温燃烧都会导致电缆外层绝缘与屏蔽层受损。故本文设置实验电缆在距离首端4 800 m处存在缺陷,缺陷类型为绝缘屏蔽层破损。根据实际地铁电缆运行参数与参考信号设计原则综合分析,测试平台采用3.1节所述高斯包络线性调频信号作为入射信号,具体地,中心频率为5 MHz,频率带宽为2 MHz,信号时长为10 μs。
分别采用WVD、STFT、CWT方法以及本文方法对真实地铁电缆开展缺陷定位,结果如图10所示。
由于电缆在工厂制造时环境和工艺要求都很高,而地铁电缆敷设现场条件较复杂,存在多种如电磁、温度、湿度等干扰因素,严重影响了电缆故障定位的精度。一般地,地铁电缆发生故障时,会产生放电声响,由于处于地下相对密闭环境且高压放电声响频率较高,声响具有很强的指向性,因此只要故障电缆产生放电声响,在距离故障20 m左右均能听见声音从而判断故障发生位置,即便电缆在沟槽内敷设也能发现。从图10可以看出,本文方法在4 811.6 m处出现明显的局部峰值,误差为11.6 m,结合声响效应,本文方法可满足地铁电缆定位精度要求。而WVD方法出现了多个交叉干扰峰,导致无效定位,工程实际无法采纳。短时傅里叶变换方法由于发生了真实信号与虚假信号的能量重叠效应,导致局部峰值不明显,难以准确定位缺陷位置,工程实际中会造成不必要的人力和物力消耗。连续小波变换方法由于受衰减效应与色散效应的影响较大,导致时频分布的能量严重衰减,归一化时频互相关值较小,无法识别缺陷位置。值得注意的是,当电缆中出现距离相隔较近的故障时将出现多重反射现象[27],即非交叉干扰项,但通过基础滤波处理即可消除,不影响定位结果。结合以上测试结果,可知本文方法的实际电缆定位效果有较高优越性,能更好地应用于实际电力电缆运行场景,具备较高的工程应用价值。
(1)针对传统时频域反射法(TFDR)在时频分析过程中存在的时频分辨率低以及存在交叉项干扰问题,本文引入参数化重采样时频变换(PRTF)方法作为传统时频域反射法测试信号的时频分析方法。PRTF方法采用高斯包络线性调频信号作为测试信号,并结合动态重采样算子与自适应时频原子分解技术,通过局部峰值提取时延信息,实现了局部微弱缺陷精准定位。
(2)与Wigner-Ville分布、短时傅里叶变换、连续小波变换方法进行仿真测试对比,本文方法的定位精度较以上3种传统时频分析方法得到进一步提升,其中定位误差仅为5.5 m,且有效抑制了交叉项干扰。而Wigner-Ville分布方法存在明显干扰项,其他两种方法定位误差均大于16 m。
