In order to solve the problems of poor dispersibility and weak interface bonding of nano hexagonal boron nitride (BN) in epoxy resin (EP), and to improve the comprehensive performance of EP composite, we used polydopamine (PDA) to modify the surface of BN, and prepared EP/m-BN composites. The microstructure and dispersibility of the modified BN was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM) and other methods. The thermal conductivity, mechanical properties, dielectric properties, and thermal expansion characteristics of EP and EP/BN composites were systematically tested. The results show that PDA forms a uniform coating layer on the surface of BN through self polymerization, introducing active functional groups such as hydroxyl and amino groups, which significantly inhibits the aggregation of BN and improves its dispersibility in EP. Performance tests indicate that the composite achieves optimal overall performance at an m-BN loading of 10%. Compared with pure EP, the thermal conductivity of EP/m-BN composite increases from 0.21 W/(m·K) to 0.47 W/(m·K), with an increase of 123.8%. The coefficient of linear thermal expansion decreases from 59.2×10-6-1 to 45.5×10-6-1, with a decrease of 23.1%. The tensile strength increases from 42.6 MPa to 58.6 MPa, with an increase of 37.6%. The elongation at break increases from 18.8% to 23.6%, with an increase of 25.5%. And within the frequency range of 10-106 Hz, all EP/m-BN composites maintain a low dielectric constant of 3.5-4, and the composites with 5%-10% of m-SiO2 show a dielectric loss close to pure EP and excellent stability.

为解决纳米六方氮化硼(BN)在环氧树脂(EP)中分散性差、界面结合弱的问题,提升EP复合材料综合性能,本研究采用聚多巴胺(PDA)改性BN得到m-BN,制备m-BN质量分数分别为5%、10%、20%的EP/m-BN复合材料。通过FTIR、XPS、TEM、AFM等手段表征改性BN结构与分散性,并系统研究复合材料的导热、力学、介电性能及热膨胀特性。结果表明:PDA通过自聚合在BN表面形成均匀包覆层,引入羟基、氨基等活性官能团,显著抑制BN团聚,提升 其在EP中的分散性。当m-BN质量分数为10%时,复合材料的综合性能最优:热导率从纯EP的0.21 W/(m·K)提升至0.47 W/(m·K),增幅为123.8%;线性热膨胀系数从59.2×10-6-1降至45.5×10-6-1,降幅为23.1%;拉伸强度从42.6 MPa提升至58.6 MPa,增幅37.6%;断裂伸长率从18.8%提升至23.6%,增幅为25.5%。在10~10⁶ Hz频率范围内,所有EP/m-BN复合材料均维持3.5~4.5的低介电常数,其中m-BN质量分数为5%和10%的复合材料介电损耗与纯EP接近且稳定性优异。

为解决纳米六方氮化硼(BN)在环氧树脂(EP)中分散性差、界面结合弱的问题,提升EP复合材料综合性能,本研究采用聚多巴胺(PDA)改性BN得到m-BN,制备m-BN质量分数分别为5%、10%、20%的EP/m-BN复合材料。通过FTIR、XPS、TEM、AFM等手段表征改性BN结构与分散性,并系统研究复合材料的导热、力学、介电性能及热膨胀特性。结果表明:PDA通过自聚合在BN表面形成均匀包覆层,引入羟基、氨基等活性官能团,显著抑制BN团聚,提升 其在EP中的分散性。当m-BN质量分数为10%时,复合材料的综合性能最优:热导率从纯EP的0.21 W/(m·K)提升至0.47 W/(m·K),增幅为123.8%;线性热膨胀系数从59.2×10-6-1降至45.5×10-6-1,降幅为23.1%;拉伸强度从42.6 MPa提升至58.6 MPa,增幅37.6%;断裂伸长率从18.8%提升至23.6%,增幅为25.5%。在10~10⁶ Hz频率范围内,所有EP/m-BN复合材料均维持3.5~4.5的低介电常数,其中m-BN质量分数为5%和10%的复合材料介电损耗与纯EP接近且稳定性优异。

In order to solve the problems of poor dispersibility and weak interface bonding of nano hexagonal boron nitride (BN) in epoxy resin (EP), and to improve the comprehensive performance of EP composite, we used polydopamine (PDA) to modify the surface of BN, and prepared EP/m-BN composites. The microstructure and dispersibility of the modified BN was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM) and other methods. The thermal conductivity, mechanical properties, dielectric properties, and thermal expansion characteristics of EP and EP/BN composites were systematically tested. The results show that PDA forms a uniform coating layer on the surface of BN through self polymerization, introducing active functional groups such as hydroxyl and amino groups, which significantly inhibits the aggregation of BN and improves its dispersibility in EP. Performance tests indicate that the composite achieves optimal overall performance at an m-BN loading of 10%. Compared with pure EP, the thermal conductivity of EP/m-BN composite increases from 0.21 W/(m·K) to 0.47 W/(m·K), with an increase of 123.8%. The coefficient of linear thermal expansion decreases from 59.2×10-6-1 to 45.5×10-6-1, with a decrease of 23.1%. The tensile strength increases from 42.6 MPa to 58.6 MPa, with an increase of 37.6%. The elongation at break increases from 18.8% to 23.6%, with an increase of 25.5%. And within the frequency range of 10-106 Hz, all EP/m-BN composites maintain a low dielectric constant of 3.5-4, and the composites with 5%-10% of m-SiO2 show a dielectric loss close to pure EP and excellent stability.

随着电子设备向高频化、高密度化方向快速发展,低介电低介损环氧树脂(EP)复合材料在印制电路板(PCB)制造、芯片封装及高速数据传输设备等领域展现出不可替代的应用价值[1-2]。这类材料不仅需满足RoHS等国际环保标准对无卤化的要求,其介电常数(通常需低于3.5)和介电损耗因子(一般要求低于0.02)更是决定信号传输效率与设备稳定性的核心参数[3-4]。在航空航天、新能源等高端领域,其机械强度与热稳定性还直接影响器件的服役寿命,因此低介电低介损EP复合材料的研发已成为先进材料领域的研究热点[5]
多维性能的协同优化是低介电低介损EP复合材料研发的核心挑战。介电性能方面,需在降低介电常数与介电损耗的同时保证高电气强度[6];力学性能方面,既要维持拉伸强度等刚性指标,又需提升断裂伸长率等韧性指标[7];而导热性能的优化则面临更严峻的困境。纯EP的热导率仅为0.16~0.20 W/(m·K),难以满足大功率器件的散热需求。传统方法通过添加高填充量导热填料来提升复合材料热导率,往往导致介电性能恶化与加工性能下降,形成导热、介电、力学性能优化的矛盾三角,如何实现三者的平衡成为该领域亟待突破的难点[8]
氮化硼(BN)作为六方晶系层状无机材料,因具有宽能级间隙、低介电常数及优异导热性能,成为制备高性能EP复合材料的理想填料[9]。研究表明,BN的引入可在维持EP绝缘特性的同时构建导热通路,当BN质量分数为10%时,EP复合材料的热导率可提升33.3%,且介电损耗因子仍能控制在0.02以下[10-11]。近年来,科研人员通过调控BN形貌(如纳米片、晶须)、优化填充比例等策略,在导热-介电性能协同提升方面取得阶段性进展[12-13],但高性能化瓶颈仍未突破。综合来说,当前BN/EP复合材料的研发仍面临两大挑战:一是BN表面呈惰性,与有机EP基体相容性差,易发生团聚,导致复合材料内部形成缺陷,反而降低力学性能与介电稳定性;二是EP固化后交联网络刚性强,添加无机填料会进一步加剧脆性,韧性不足严重限制其在振动环境下的应用[14-17]。为破解上述困境,本研究提出双重调控策略:采用聚多巴胺(PDA)对BN进行表面接枝改性,利用PDA的黏附性与反应活性改善填料分散性及界面结合力;选用聚醚胺D230作为固化剂,其柔性链段可调控交联网络结构,赋予材料优异的韧性与抗冲击性。通过两种策略的协同作用,期望得到低介电、低介损、高热导率、拉伸强度与断裂韧性同步提升的高性能EP/BN复合材料,为电气绝缘材料的高性能化提供基础。
双酚A型EP树脂(E51),纯度为99.9%,上海麦克林生化科技股份有限公司;聚醚胺D230,数均分子量为230,阿拉丁试剂(上海)有限公司;四氢呋喃(THF)、三(羟甲基)氨基甲烷(tris),分析纯,阿拉丁试剂(上海)有限公司;多巴胺盐酸盐(DA·HCl),分析纯,Adamas试剂(上海)有限公司;纳米六方氮化硼(BN),纯度>99.9%,直径<200 nm,上海麦克林生化科技股份有限公司;无水乙醇(EtOH)、盐酸(HCl),分析纯,成都科隆化学品有限公司。
傅里叶变换红外光谱仪(FT-IR),Frontier型,美国PerkinElmer公司;X射线光电子能谱仪(XPS),K-Alpha型,美国Thermo Scientific公司;热重差热同步分析仪,TG/DTA 8122型,日本Rigaku公司;广角X射线衍射仪(WAXD),Ultima IV型,日本Rigaku公司;拉曼光谱仪,Renishaw inVia型,德国Bruker公司;透射电子显微镜(TEM),Tecnai G2 F20 S-TWIN型,美国FEI公司;原子力显微镜(AFM),Icon型,德国Bruker公司;激光导热仪,LFA 467型,德国Netzsch公司;宽频介电阻抗谱仪,Concept 80型,德国Novocontrol公司;高阻计,ZC36型,上海第六电表厂有限公司;万能材料试验机, Instron 5967型,美国Instron公司。
将0.242 g三(羟甲基)氨基甲烷(tris)加入到200 mL去离子水中,搅拌溶解后,用HCl调节溶液pH=8.5,得到200 mL的tris缓冲液。将5 g BN加入到缓冲液中,超声1 h保证纳米片均匀分散。再向溶液中加入0.5 g DA·HCl,搅拌混合均匀。然后加入150 mL EtOH,在室温下搅拌24 h后,形成灰色溶液。经过真空抽滤,将得到的产物在60℃真空下干燥过夜,得到改性氮化硼(m-BN)[18]。m-BN改性示意图如图1所示。
将环氧树脂E51和固化剂聚醚胺D230以质量比100∶32进行混合,然后加入填料(BN或m-BN)。将混合物搅拌均匀,超声2 h以提高填料分散性。然后将混合物转移至模具中,并在80℃下固化2 h、120℃下固化6 h,得到EP/BN和EP/m-BN复合材料。对于EP/BN,填料BN的加入量为环氧树脂和固化剂总质量的10%,所得样品命名为EP/10BN;对于EP/m-BN,填料m-BN的加入量分别为环氧树脂和固化剂总质量的5%、10%、20%,所得样品分别命名为EP/5m-BN、EP/10m-BN和EP/20m-BN。
傅里叶变换红外光谱(FT-IR):采用傅里叶变换红外光谱仪测试,分辨率为4 cm-1,扫描次数为16次,测试波数为4 000~450 cm-1,测试前在50℃真空烘箱内干燥6 h;X射线光电子能谱(XPS):采用X射线光电子能谱仪对BN和m-BN的化学组成进行表征,所有样品在50℃真空烘箱内干燥6 h后进行测试;广角X射线衍射谱(WAXD):采用广角X射线衍射仪测试,以Cu Kα射线作为辐射源,波长为0.154 16 nm,测试范围为5°~60°,扫描速度为 10°/min;原子力显微镜(AFM):采用原子力显微镜敲击模式,对样品3 μm×3 μm的区域进行扫描,以获取BN和m-BN的平均高度;透射电子显微镜(TEM):首先将适量BN和m-BN配成浓度为0.1 mg/mL的乙醇分散液,超声处理1 h后,使用移液枪取少量分散液置于铜网上,充分烘干以保证除去水分,然后采用透射电子显微镜在200 kV的加速电压下进行测试;热失重(TGA):采用热重差热同步分析仪测试,N2气氛,升温速率为10℃/min,测试温度为30~800℃;拉曼光谱:采用拉曼光谱仪测试,光源波长为532 nm,输出光功率为10 mW,在100~2 000 cm-1范围以4 cm-1分辨率扫描2~3次;导热性能:将样品制成10 mm×10 mm×5 mm的长方体,然后使用激光导热仪进行测试;介电性能:将样品制成直径为42 mm、厚度为0.5 mm的圆片,然后采用宽频介电阻抗谱仪在25℃进行测试,测试频率为10~106 Hz;力学性能:将样品制成80 mm×10 mm×5 mm的长方体,然后采用万能材料试验机在25℃下进行测试,拉伸速率为10 mm/min。
对改性前后的BN和m-BN进行红外光谱、拉曼光谱、WAXD及TGA测试,结果如图2所示。
图2(a)的FTIR谱图可以看出,未改性BN在波数为1 370 cm-1和810 cm-1附近出现特征吸收峰,分别对应六方氮化硼的B-N面内伸缩振动和B-N-B面外弯曲振动。经PDA改性后,m-BN谱图在波数为3 200~3 500 cm-1区间出现宽而强的吸收峰,对应PDA分子中N-H和O-H的伸缩振动;同时,在波数为1 620 cm-1和1 510 cm-1附近应出现归属于PDA苯环的C=C伸缩振动和N-H弯曲振动,但位于900~1 600 cm-1左右代表BN的B-N键振动吸收峰的宽峰信号过于强烈,掩盖了上述PDA的特征峰。上述结果证实PDA已成功接枝到BN表面[19]
图2(b)的拉曼光谱可以看出,BN在1 366 cm-1处出现尖锐且强度高的特征峰,这是h-BN的E2g特征峰,对应六元环中B原子与N原子的面内相对振动,峰形对称且半峰宽较窄,表明原始BN具有完整的晶体结构和较低的缺陷密度;改性后的m-BN在该处的E2g特征峰仍存在,但峰强略有减弱,这是由于PDA包覆层的非晶态碳结构对拉曼信号的散射作用。m-BN在1 580 cm-1附近未出现明显的D峰(缺陷峰)和G峰(石墨化峰),表明PDA在BN表面的聚合过程未引入大量碳缺陷。
图2(c)的WAXD谱图可以看出,BN在2θ为26.7°、41.6°、43.9°、50.1°和55.9°处出现明显衍射峰,分别对应BN的(002)、(100)、(101)、(102)和(110)晶面,衍射峰尖锐且强度高,表明原始BN晶体排列规整,结晶度较高。改性后的m-BN,其衍射峰位置与未改性BN基本一致,说明PDA包覆未改变BN的晶体结构类型,BN的六方晶系特征得以保留。
图2(d)的TGA曲线可以看出,未改性BN在温度为30~800℃范围内残留率超过99%,表明原始BN具有优异的热稳定性,这与其高纯度和稳定的六方晶体结构密切相关。改性后的m-BN在升温过程中的失重明显,残留率在温度达到600℃后时趋于稳定,最终的总失重为3.4%左右,这主要反映了PDA包覆层的质量分数。值得注意的是,当温度达到600℃时,m-BN的TGA曲线呈轻微上扬现象,这是由于PDA或BN在高温下可能发生氧化反应,导致氧气通过反应结合到材料中,反映为表观质量的轻微上升。
为验证PDA在BN表面的成功引入,对BN和m-BN样品进行了X射线光电子能谱(XPS)分析,结果如图3所示。由图3(a)的XPS全谱可以看出,BN样品中主要检测到B 1s和N 1s特征峰,表明其主体成分为氮化硼;同时,谱图中存在较弱的C 1s和O 1s信号,这通常可归因于样品表面的吸附碳、吸附氧或表面含氧基团。相比之下,m-BN样品中C 1s和O 1s信号明显增强,说明PDA改性后BN表面含碳、含氧官能团显著增加,初步表明PDA已成功引入到BN表面。进一步对m-BN表面碳元素的化学状态进行分析,其C 1s高分辨谱分峰拟合结果如图3(b)所示。可以看出,m-BN的C 1s谱可分解为位于约283.7、284.05、285.1、286.5、288.8 eV处的多个组分峰,分别归属于C-C/C=C及C-OH相关碳环境、C-N sp2、C-O-C sp2和C-N sp3等化学键。其中,284.3~284.5 eV附近的峰主要与PDA分子中的芳香碳骨架及酚羟基相关碳环境有关;285.1 eV处的C-N sp2峰反映了PDA结构中共轭含氮碳结构的存在;286.5 eV处的C-O-C峰对应含氧碳结构;288.8 eV处的C-N sp3峰则与PDA中的饱和含氮碳结构有关。上述含碳、含氧及含氮官能团特征峰的出现,进一步证明PDA的特征化学结构已成功引入BN表面,说明m-BN成功制备。
图4为PDA、BN与m-BN在乙醇溶剂中的溶液状态,可直观反映三者的分散性差异,为后续复合材料制备中填料分散效果的评估提供宏观依据。从溶液外观来看,PDA的溶液呈现均匀的深褐色透明状态,无明显沉淀或分层现象。这是因为PDA分子结构中含有大量羟基(-OH)、氨基(-NH2)等极性官能团,可与溶剂分子形成强氢键作用,使PDA分子能够稳定溶解并均匀分散在溶剂体系中;未改性BN的溶液呈现明显的分层现象,上层为澄清透明液体,下层则有大量白色固体沉淀析出。这一现象源于未改性BN的表面呈惰性,缺乏极性官能团,与溶剂之间的相容性较差,分子间作用力以弱范德华力为主,无法克服BN颗粒自身的重力作用,导致颗粒团聚并快速沉降,体现出典型的“疏水-疏溶剂”特性;改性后的m-BN溶液呈现均匀的灰色半透明状态,相较于未改性BN溶液,m-BN溶液稳定性显著提升。m-BN溶液的灰色源于BN与PDA颜色的复合,进一步从宏观层面证实PDA成功包覆在BN表面,且包覆层均匀性较好。
图5为BN和m-BN的TEM和AFM测试结果。从图5(a)可以看出,未改性BN显示出典型的片状结构,片层边缘清晰且表面光滑,但可观察到明显的片层堆叠与团聚现象,这是由于未改性BN表面呈惰性、缺乏活性官能团,片层间仅依靠范德华力作用易发生团聚;从图5(b)可以看出,改性后m-BN的TEM图中,BN片层的片状结构得以保留,但片层表面不再光滑,出现一层均匀的模糊包覆层,且片层团聚现象显著缓解,单个分散的m-BN片层占比明显增加。该包覆层为PDA通过自聚合反应在BN表面形成的有机涂层,其不仅赋予BN表面活性官能团,更能通过空间位阻效应阻碍片层间的直接接触,从而抑制团聚;从图5(c)未改性BN的AFM图像及高度分析可以看出,其表面整体较为平整,通过高度图可计算得到其表面粗糙度参数(Ra)约为12.1 nm,片层高度(即厚度)为25 nm;从图5(d) m-BN的AFM图像及高度分析可以看出,其整体粗糙度略有提升,Ra升至14.4 nm,同时片层高度上升至41 nm左右,这一变化源于PDA在BN表面的包覆增加了BN的表面起伏程度和片层高度。
表1为EP及EP复合材料的线性热膨胀系数(CTE)与热导率测试结果。从表1可以看出,EP的CTE为59.2×10-6-1,这一较高数值源于环氧树脂分子链的柔性特征,其线性高分子链在温度变化时易发生热运动,导致材料宏观尺寸产生显著伸缩。EP的热导率为0.21 W/(m·K),这是由于EP分子链的无规缠绕结构易形成热传导壁垒,声子在传递过程中易发生散射,导致热传递效率较为低下[20]
当引入质量分数为10%的BN后,EP/10BN的CTE降至54.7×10-6-1,热导率升至0.29 W/(m·K),较纯EP分别降低了7.6%、升高了38.1%,出现该现象可能是由于:一方面,BN片层作为无机刚性填料,可通过物理填充作用限制环氧树脂分子链的热运动,减少分子链伸缩带来的宏观膨胀,从而初步改善材料的尺寸热稳定性;另一方面,BN作为高导热无机填料,其六方晶体结构具有优异的声子传导通道,在EP基体中可形成初步的导热路径,部分声子可通过BN片层传递,减少在有机基体中的散射损耗。对于EP/m-BN复合材料来说,当m-BN质量分数为5%时,EP/5m-BN复合材料的CTE为53.4×10-6-1、热导率为0.32 W/(m·K),表明添加质量分数为5%的m-BN对EP热导率和线性热膨胀系数的影响,比添加质量分数为10%未改性BN时的效果更为显著,这是由于PDA改性带来的界面作用增强。PDA包覆层赋予BN表面活性官能团(-OH、-NH-),可与EP分子形成氢键或弱化学作用,使BN与EP基体的界面结合更紧密,BN片层能更高效地传递应力、抑制分子链热运动;同时,m-BN在基体中分散更均匀,形成更连续的刚性支撑网络,进一步削弱材料的热膨胀趋势,同时在基体中形成了更连续、更密集的高效导热网络。当m-BN的质量分数增加至10%和20%时,EP/10m-BN和EP/20m-BN复合材料的CTE分别为45.5×10-6-1和43.1×10-6-1,较纯EP分别降低了约23.2%和27.2%;热导率分别为0.47 W/(m·K)和0.51 W/(m·K),较纯EP分别提高了123.8%和142.8%。上述结果表明,当m-BN添加量增加时,对EP线性热膨胀系数的降低程度、对热导率的提高程度均变大,当m-BN质量分数为10%时,这两个指标的变化幅度已经非常显著,但进一步增加质量分数至20%时,这两个指标的变化幅度明显降低。
对EP及EP/BN复合材料进行拉伸测试,所得应力-应变曲线见图6,得到断裂伸长率、拉伸强度数据,列于表2
图6表2可以看出,对于纯EP样品,在拉伸过程中,应力随应变线性增长至峰值后迅速下降,拉伸强度为42.6 MPa,断裂伸长率为18.8%,表现出刚性较强、韧性有限的力学行为;对于EP/10BN复合材料,其拉伸强度、断裂伸长率分别为31.9 MPa和14.2%,较纯EP分别下降了25.1%和24.5%,表明未改性BN的引入未使复合材料的力学性能增强,反而导致强度与韧性双重劣化,这可能与其中BN和EP基体树脂的相容性较差有关。
对于EP/m-BN,复合材料随着填料的质量分数从5%增加至10%和20%,EP/5m-BN、EP/10m-BN和EP/20m-BN的拉伸强度分别为35.9、58.6、52.4 MPa,断裂伸长率分别为19.9%、23.6%和17.3%,表明复合材料的力学性能对填料添加量具有明显的依赖性。上述结果的可能机理是:PDA在BN表面形成包覆层,引入大量羟基、氨基等活性官能团,这些官能团可与EP分子链中的环氧基团、羟基形成氢键或弱化学键,构建强界面结合层。该结合层可高效传递拉伸应力,避免界面脱粘,使m-BN片层充分发挥刚性支撑作用,显著提升了复合材料的拉伸强度和断裂伸长率。然而,当填料质量分数为20%时,由于填料含量过高,可能发生团聚、富集现象,反而会使复合材料的力学性能发生一定程度的劣化。这与前文的热导率、线性热膨胀系数变化规律一致,说明过多的m-BN加入并不会使复合材料的综合性能持续线性提高,反而会因为填料本身的团聚或富集,导致性能提升幅度显著降低、甚至是劣化。
图7为EP及EP/BN复合材料在室温条件下的介电常数与介电损耗-频率关系曲线。从图7可以看出,样品的介电常数与介电损耗均呈现明显的频率依赖性,且样品间存在显著差异。在介电常数方面,所有样品的介电常数均随测试频率升高呈缓慢下降的趋势。对比不同的样品可以看出,纯EP的介电常数最低,在整个频率范围内均处于3~3.5之间;EP/BN复合材料的介电常数高于纯EP,在整个频率范围内均处于4~5之间;EP/m-BN复合材料的介电常数在低频区比EP/BN略低,整体维持在3.5~4.5之间,且随着填料添加量的增加而呈上升趋势。在介电损耗方面,所有样品的介电损耗都比较低。其中,纯EP的介电损耗在整个频率范围内均为最低,EP/BN复合材料的介电损耗在整个频率范围内都比纯EP高,该趋势在高频区更加明显;而EP/m-BN复合材料的介电损耗较为优异,其中EP/5m-BN和EP/10m-BN在整个频率范围内的介电损耗明显低于EP/BN(尤其是在高频区域),与纯EP接近且波动最小,体现出优异的介电损耗控制效果。对于EP/20m-BN,由于填料添加量较高,可能导致其发生团聚或在基体中的分散性受限,导致其介电损耗增大,但总体来说,由于PDA改性提高了m-BN在基体的分散性,其介电损耗仍与EP/BN接近,尤其是在高频区域内,明显优于EP/BN。
上述实验结果的机理可能是:复合材料介电性能(介电常数与介电损耗)的差异及频率依赖性,核心源于基体极化特性、填料-基体界面作用及极化响应与电场频率的匹配度。介电常数方面,纯EP依赖分子链极性基团偶极极化,因交联网络限制偶极运动,介电常数低且稳定;EP/BN中未改性BN表面呈惰性,与EP间形成界面空隙,外电场下电荷在空隙处积累产生界面极化,使介电常数略高于纯EP,但BN团聚导致极化无序,在高频下极化跟不上电场变化,稳定性差;EP/m-BN中PDA改性引入活性官能团,与EP形成紧密界面(无空隙),m-BN均匀分散使界面极化有序,介电常数略高且在高频区域稳定,同时保持低介电水平。在介电损耗方面,EP/BN的团聚界面空隙为漏导电流提供通道,漏导损耗高,且极化无序增加极化损耗,故介电损耗最高;EP/m-BN靠紧密界面消除漏导通道,PDA绝缘性阻断电荷传导,均匀分散使极化有序,使其介电损耗最低;纯EP无界面漏导,但低频区偶极极化充分,介电损耗略高于EP/m-BN。
本研究以双酚A型环氧树脂(EP)为基体,纳米六方氮化硼(BN)为填料,通过聚多巴胺(PDA)表面改性BN制备EP/m-BN复合材料,系统探究了PDA改性对BN结构、分散性及复合材料导热、力学、介电性能与尺寸稳定性的影响,主要结论如下:
(1)FTIR、XPS、拉曼光谱与TGA测试表明,PDA通过自聚合反应在BN表面形成均匀包覆层,引入羟基、氨基等活性官能团,且未破坏BN的六方晶体结构;TEM、AFM与溶液分散性测试表明,PDA改性显著抑制BN片层团聚,m-BN在溶剂与EP基体中分散性大幅提升。
(2)导热性能和热膨胀性能方面,随着m-BN添加量的增加,EP复合材料的热导率持续提升,热膨胀系数逐步降低。当m-BN质量分数为10%时,EP/10m-BN的热导率达到0.47 W/(m·K),较纯EP提升了123.8%。线性热膨胀系数降至45.5×10-6-1,较纯EP降低了23.1%。继续增加填料质量分数至20%,热导率与热膨胀系数的优化幅度趋于平缓,表明10%为兼顾性能提升与成本控制的适宜添加量。
(3)力学性能方面,与未改性EP/10BN复合材料力学性能劣化不同,EP/m-BN复合材料因PDA构建的强界面作用,力学性能显著改善。当m-BN质量分数为10%时,复合材料的拉伸强度达到58.6 MPa,断裂伸长率达到23.6%,较纯EP分别提升了37.6%和25.5%;而当m-BN质量分数增至20%时,因填料团聚导致拉伸强度与断裂伸长率略有下降。这表明适量m-BN可通过刚性支撑与界面应力传递提升材料韧性,过量添加则易引发内部缺陷,反而影响力学性能。
(4)介电性能方面,在10~10⁶ Hz频率范围内,所有EP/m-BN复合材料均维持3.5~4.5的低介电常数,其中EP/5m-BN与EP/10m-BN的介电损耗与纯EP接近且稳定性优异,显著优于未改性EP/10BN。PDA改性通过消除界面空隙、提升分散均匀性,有效抑制了界面极化与漏导损耗,即使m-BN质量分数增至20%,EP/20m-BN的介电损耗仍保持在较低水平,实现了导热-力学性能提升与介电性能稳定的协同平衡。
综上,本研究通过PDA改性有效解决了BN在EP中分散性差、界面结合弱的关键问题,使EP/m-BN复合材料同时具备高导热、低膨胀、强韧性与优异介电性能,为其在电子封装、电机定子绝缘等对材料综合性能要求高的领域提供了新思路和基础。
