In order to study the effect of stress cone on the accumulation of space charge, we designed a cable model with stress cone structure. A platform was built to perform the combined electric and thermal ageing on the model cable. The distribution of space charge before and after ageing was measured by pulse electro-acoustic method, and the accumulation of space charge at different axial and radial positions was compared. The results show that more space charge accumulates at the root of the stress cone, and the accumulated space charge mainly distributes on the outside of the insulation layer of the cable. To make a preliminary explanation of this phenomenon, it is believed that the electric field distortion caused by the stress cone makes the space charge easy to accumulate in this area.

为了研究应力锥对空间电荷积聚的影响,设计了具有应力锥结构的模型电缆。搭建平台对模型电缆进行电热联合老化,采用电声脉冲法测量老化前后空间电荷的分布情况,对比不同轴向位置和径向位置的空间电荷积聚情况。结果表明:越靠近应力锥根部,积聚的空间电荷越多,且积聚的空间电荷主要分布在电缆绝缘层靠外侧。对这一现象进行初步解释,认为是应力锥引起的电场畸变造成空间电荷容易在此区域积聚。

为了研究应力锥对空间电荷积聚的影响,设计了具有应力锥结构的模型电缆。搭建平台对模型电缆进行电热联合老化,采用电声脉冲法测量老化前后空间电荷的分布情况,对比不同轴向位置和径向位置的空间电荷积聚情况。结果表明:越靠近应力锥根部,积聚的空间电荷越多,且积聚的空间电荷主要分布在电缆绝缘层靠外侧。对这一现象进行初步解释,认为是应力锥引起的电场畸变造成空间电荷容易在此区域积聚。

In order to study the effect of stress cone on the accumulation of space charge, we designed a cable model with stress cone structure. A platform was built to perform the combined electric and thermal ageing on the model cable. The distribution of space charge before and after ageing was measured by pulse electro-acoustic method, and the accumulation of space charge at different axial and radial positions was compared. The results show that more space charge accumulates at the root of the stress cone, and the accumulated space charge mainly distributes on the outside of the insulation layer of the cable. To make a preliminary explanation of this phenomenon, it is believed that the electric field distortion caused by the stress cone makes the space charge easy to accumulate in this area.

在人口稠密地区,电力电缆由于安装灵活、空间利用率高,正逐渐取代架空线路成为主要的输配电用线[1]。随着铺设里程增加,电缆发生故障的次数也呈上升趋势。电缆的故障又分为附件故障和电缆主绝缘故障,根据统计数据,电缆附件发生的故障次数占据总故障次数的一半以上[2]。电缆附件容易发生故障的一个重要原因就是空间电荷的积聚,进而导致局部电场发生严重畸变,造成绝缘的击穿[3-5]。与在直流电场下不同,空间电荷在交流电场下的积聚是一个长期过程,这个过程也是绝缘材料的劣化过程[6-7]。在这个过程中,电荷不断地注入、抽出,同时带电载流子被电缆绝缘内部存在的陷阱捕获,导致空间电荷积聚,从而加速绝缘材料的老化。
应力锥作为电缆附件的重要组成部分,起到均匀电场的作用。现有理论认为,应力锥根部是电缆附件电场强度最高的地方,也是最容易积聚空间电荷的地方[8]。严有祥等[9]对电缆中间接头进行仿真,发现应力锥根部积聚大量的空间电荷。大量的空间电荷在应力锥安装位置积聚造成电场畸变严重,容易发生绝缘击穿,需要重点关注。目前对应力锥的研究主要集中在优化其结构或材料方面[10-12],对应力锥如何影响空间电荷的积聚还缺少实验方面的研究。王伟等[13]对电缆进行电热联合老化,发现在应力锥安装位置的绝缘处积聚大量的空间电荷,而其他位置的绝缘几乎没有空间电荷。本文对此现象进行进一步研究,仿照应力锥结构设计新的模型电缆,加速老化后测量空间电荷的分布情况,解释应力锥安装位置空间电荷积聚的原因,为如何减少应力锥位置空间电荷的积聚、防止电缆击穿提供参考。
在对电缆进行电热联合老化时,通常加压至额定运行电压的2~3倍,为了防止闪络,必须在电缆上安装应力锥[14]。安装时先将电缆两侧的外半导电层剥去一部分。图1是安装了应力锥的电缆示意图,图中虚线框内的结构就是应力锥。图2是应力锥的示意图。应力锥由两部分构成:绝缘材料组成的部分和硅橡胶半导电材料组成的部分。但因为应力锥的存在使得两侧绝缘内的空间电荷无法被测量到或者无法分析其来源,所以设计新的模型电缆用于老化试验。
在进行模型电缆设计前,需要先对应力锥进行分析。通常,应力锥安装在电缆终端和电缆中间接头的位置。图3是整体预制式电缆中间接头示意图。应力锥的主体部分由半导电材料构成,同时配备增强绝缘,通过注胶工艺形成结合严密的整体。结合以上对应力锥的分析,可以看出应力锥的关键构成之一是喇叭状的开口,由半导电材料制作而成,其相当于电缆外半导电层的延续,电缆运行时它与电缆的外半导电层都处于接地电位。二是增强绝缘。模型电缆的设计从这两方面出发,设计了位于两端喇叭状的开口和替代增强绝缘的结构,共同构成模型电缆的应力锥结构,实验证明该结构可以避免在加压时发生闪络。
制作好的模型电缆主绝缘厚度为2 mm,两侧圆弧的半径为10 mm,同时,在圆弧位置以及中间XLPE绝缘位置涂敷硅橡胶半导电材料,并确保接触面良好,如图4所示。实际电缆应力锥附近电场以及模型电缆电场的分布情况如图5所示,可以看出,两者的电场分布具有相似性。
为了实现电热联合老化,对恒温箱进行改造,交流高压通过恒温箱上方开口处的高压套管引入,再通过导线连接至模型电缆,整体接线图如图6所示。恒温箱内的铝板上有半圆筒形状的铝片,与模型电缆尺寸吻合,模型电缆就放置于半圆筒铝片上,再从铝板一侧引出接地线,与大地相连。根据XLPE的DSC曲线,选择老化温度为晶区完全解裂时的温度114℃,高温主要能加速电荷的产生和积聚。老化电压的选择根据两方面考虑:一是恒温箱内电磁环境复杂,不适合用过高的电压;二是电压过低时难以发生空间电荷的积聚现象。根据文献[13],在平均场强为5.5 kV/mm下实测到了空间电荷积聚现象,因此选择11 kV的电压进行老化,共老化40天。
王伟等[13]研究表明,驻留在绝缘中的电荷几天内不会衰减。因此测试时,先撤掉电压,将模型电缆从恒温箱取出并自然冷却至常温,再使用基于电声脉冲法的电缆本体空间电荷测试系统进行测量。测量系统整体如图7所示,不施加极化电源,可以测量老化后绝缘中驻留的空间电荷波形。通过移动模型电缆,可以测量不同轴向位置的空间电荷波形。
对电热联合老化前后的电缆模型分别进行空间电荷测量。将图4虚线框内结构放大,定义应力锥根部(任一侧圆弧与中间主绝缘的切点)为坐标起点,如图8(a)所示,在轴向上总共测量9个点,从距离应力锥根部7 mm一直测量到47 mm,即测量到模型电缆中部位置,横坐标表示模型电缆的径向位置。铜芯和导体屏蔽层的总半径为10.3 mm,绝缘层厚度为2 mm,因此空间电荷分布在径向坐标10.3~12.3 mm的位置。老化前空间电荷分布情况如图8(b)所示,电热联合老化40天后,再次对模型电缆的相同位置进行空间电荷测量,结果如图8(c)所示。对比图8(b)和8(c)可知,电热联合老化导致了空间电荷的积聚。
界面电荷和绝缘内部电荷在轴向坐标的变化情况如图9所示,箭头所指方向表示远离应力锥根部的方向。依据积聚空间电荷的径向位置不同,将其分为界面电荷和绝缘内部电荷。界面电荷存在于绝缘与硅橡胶半导电层的接触面,界面电荷与绝缘内部电荷极性相反。在长期电热联合老化作用下,整根电缆不同轴向位置都积累了两种电荷,但是有数量上的区别。从图9可以看出,随着距离应力锥根部越远,空间电荷密度不断减小,最终趋于平缓。
使用公式(1)对积聚的电荷进行径向上的积分,可以得到电荷总量随电缆轴向位置变化的曲线,其中Q为总电荷量,ρt时刻、位置x处的空间电荷密度。积分结果如图10所示。

图10可以看出,应力锥根部空间电荷总量最多,越远离应力锥位置,空间电荷总量越少,距离应力锥47 mm处的电荷总量只占距离应力锥7 mm处电荷总量的13%。
在电热联合老化过程中,虽然电压较低,仅为11 kV,场强也较低,但在老化后的模型电缆中还是发现了空间电荷,这里空间电荷的产生是一个缓慢积累的过程。一方面,模型电缆与半导电层构成了不同介质的界面,由于两者的介电特性不同,慢慢积累了界面电荷。另一方面,绝缘内部也积累了较多的空间电荷,基于模型电缆绝缘内部空间电荷具有明显的轴向分布规律,推测这部分电荷是迁移而来。
已有研究发现[15],交联聚乙烯在长时间交流电压作用下会产生极性不随外加电压改变的“非交变电荷”,此类电荷消散缓慢,并会在电场作用下发生迁移,模型电缆绝缘内部积聚的电荷正是非交变电荷。其产生的原因在于电荷在交流电压的正、负半波下表现出不对称性,导致每个周期都积累少量电荷,长期老化后,积累成一定数量并能测量到的电荷。当模型电缆线芯电压为交流正半周期时,电场强度分布如图11所示,负半周期时箭头方向相反。可以发现在应力锥附近电场具有轴向上的分量。这造成应力锥根部绝缘左侧积累的非交变电荷向应力锥根部区域迁移,从而积聚在此处。
界面电荷的分布具有明显的轴向规律,这种规律是应力锥的特殊结构和绝缘内部积累的电荷共同造成的。首先,应力锥根部电场相对其他位置更强,使得这附近更容易积累界面电荷。其次,迁移过去的非交变电荷也会感应出部分界面电荷,因此界面电荷与绝缘内部电荷数量成正比且极性相反。以上两个因素共同造成应力锥根部的界面电荷远多于其他位置。
(1)通过对具有应力锥结构的模型电缆进行电热联合老化,发现空间电荷容易在应力锥根部附近积聚。在本次研究中,应力锥影响了空间电荷在轴向上的积聚情况,使得这部分区域空间电荷明显多于其他位置。在远离应力锥根部的位置,积聚的空间电荷总量较少,且不同轴向位置相差不大。
(2)对积聚的电荷进行分析,将其分为界面电荷和绝缘内部电荷,分析模型电缆的电场分布情况,认为是应力锥造成的电场畸变使得在应力锥根部容易积聚电荷。
