During the operation of high-frequency transformer, oil-paper insulation bears severe electric and thermal stress, and the insulation system is easy to fail prematurely. In order to study the effect of high frequency pulse voltage on the discharge characteristics of oil-paper insulation, we built a partial discharge (PD) test platform under high frequency pulse voltage to conduct partial discharge tests. The characteristics of partial discharge of oil-paper insulation under highfrequency voltage was studied and compared with the characteristics under power frequency voltage. The results show that under high frequency voltage, partial discharge mainly occurs at the rising and falling edge of voltage, the PD amplitude is much higher than that under power frequency, and there is an frequency-induced inflection point near the frequency of 10 kHz. Moreover, oil-paper insulation is punctured under high frequency impulse. The reason is that the rapid voltage rise rate caused by high frequency changes the local field strength and high frequency electrothermal coupling effect at the defect position, resulting in the change of the partial discharge intensity.

高频变压器运行过程中油纸绝缘承受严酷的电热应力,绝缘系统容易过早失效。为了研究高频脉冲电压对油纸绝缘局部放电特性的影响,搭建了高频脉冲电压下的局部放电试验平台,开展局部放电试验,研究油纸绝缘在高频脉冲电压下的局部放电特性,并与工频电压下的局部放电特性进行对比。结果表明:高频脉冲电压下局部放电主要发生在电压的上升沿和下降沿,高频脉冲电压下的局部放电幅值远高于工频下的局部放电幅值,在10 kHz附近存在频致拐点,且高频脉冲下油纸试样出现直击现象;究其原因是高频产生较高的电压上升率,改变了缺陷区域的局部场强和高频电热耦合效应,从而导致了局部放电强度的变化。

高频变压器运行过程中油纸绝缘承受严酷的电热应力,绝缘系统容易过早失效。为了研究高频脉冲电压对油纸绝缘局部放电特性的影响,搭建了高频脉冲电压下的局部放电试验平台,开展局部放电试验,研究油纸绝缘在高频脉冲电压下的局部放电特性,并与工频电压下的局部放电特性进行对比。结果表明:高频脉冲电压下局部放电主要发生在电压的上升沿和下降沿,高频脉冲电压下的局部放电幅值远高于工频下的局部放电幅值,在10 kHz附近存在频致拐点,且高频脉冲下油纸试样出现直击现象;究其原因是高频产生较高的电压上升率,改变了缺陷区域的局部场强和高频电热耦合效应,从而导致了局部放电强度的变化。

During the operation of high-frequency transformer, oil-paper insulation bears severe electric and thermal stress, and the insulation system is easy to fail prematurely. In order to study the effect of high frequency pulse voltage on the discharge characteristics of oil-paper insulation, we built a partial discharge (PD) test platform under high frequency pulse voltage to conduct partial discharge tests. The characteristics of partial discharge of oil-paper insulation under highfrequency voltage was studied and compared with the characteristics under power frequency voltage. The results show that under high frequency voltage, partial discharge mainly occurs at the rising and falling edge of voltage, the PD amplitude is much higher than that under power frequency, and there is an frequency-induced inflection point near the frequency of 10 kHz. Moreover, oil-paper insulation is punctured under high frequency impulse. The reason is that the rapid voltage rise rate caused by high frequency changes the local field strength and high frequency electrothermal coupling effect at the defect position, resulting in the change of the partial discharge intensity.

随着电力电子器件朝着高频率、大功率、轻量化的发展,新型固态变压器(也称电力电子变压器)受到广泛关注,其克服了传统油浸式变压器笨重、体积大的限制[1]。但固态变压器运行时局部温度可达160℃及以上[2-3],因此有学者提出新的油浸式高频变压器,解决固态变压器中的过热问题[4]。高频变压器运行时绕组承受的高频方波电压波形[5]图1所示,其频率可达10 kHz以上,会产生较高电压上升率(dV/dt),使得高频变压器油纸绝缘过早失效。
另外,有学者研究发现,因断路器及电力电子器件等开关设备频繁动作,致使传统油浸式变压器油纸绝缘系统易遭受高频暂态电应力冲击,使得绝缘过早失效。如海上风电变压器因风的随机性,致使断路器频繁动作,产生如图2所示的高频脉冲过电压[6-7];车载变压器因列车过分相时,前端真空断路器(VCB)频繁动作,产生高频过电压[8-9];换流变压器因换相,极性反转,产生过电压[10-11]。上述新型高频变压器与传统油浸式变压器油纸绝缘系统具有共同的特点,即承受高频脉冲过电压,具有较高的dV/dt、频率高、陡度大、上升时间短等特点。在高频脉冲电压作用下,会增大油纸绝缘放电强度,从而加速油纸绝缘老化。因此,研究高频脉冲下油纸绝缘局部放电的产生及发展机制具有重要意义。
目前国内外学者主要对固体绝缘的高频放电特性进行了研究,文献[12-13]研究了气固绝缘的沿面放电特性,结果表明电压频率升高对沿面放电起始电压基本无影响,但是会降低沿面闪络电压和缩短沿面寿命;文献[14]分析了频率对放电的影响,发现绝缘材料的放电重复率随频率升高显著增大,导致材料的电气强度下降;文献[15]研究了高频变压器绝缘材料的击穿特性,发现绝缘介质严重发热导致的热失衡使其电气强度随频率升高而显著下降。近年来,有学者通过产气特性研究了高频下油纸绝缘的放电特性,发现油中溶解的氢含量与放电强度有较好的相关性[16-17]。上述文献猜测电压上升率dV/dt会对局放特性产生影响,但具体的影响如何未知,且未进行定量化的分析。此外,通过实验发现,高频下油纸绝缘的放电特性与固体绝缘的放电特性及工频下的放电特性有较大差异,但高频下油纸绝缘的局部放电机理不明,需进行进一步的研究。
本文采用双极性方波脉冲电源,研究高频脉冲电压下的油纸绝缘局部放电特性,并与工频电压下的油纸绝缘放电特性进行对比,揭示高频产生的较高dV/dt对油纸绝缘放电的影响机理,以期为小型轻量化高频变压器的绝缘设计及研制提供参考。
为了研究高频脉冲下油纸绝缘的老化特性,搭建了高频脉冲下油纸绝缘老化试验平台,对应的测试平台如图3所示。图3中,高压差分探头测量输出电压波形,选用台湾品致PT-5240探头,可测量电压范围为0~40 kV,频宽为20 MHz,衰减比为5 000∶1;试验过程中采用高频脉冲电流法采集局放的电流信号,使用的HFCT工频带宽为10~500 MHz,实际试验中将其扩展至1 000 MHz;采集的高频放电信号与电压测试信号输送至力科WavePro 404HD型高频示波器,该示波器的带宽为4 GHz,用于实时观察和记录电压值。
为模拟油纸绝缘承受的高频冲击电压,选用重庆普尔斯科技有限公司PUS-JC-20型高频脉冲电源,该电源可输出峰峰值为0~40 kV、频率为0~20 kHz的双极性高频方波脉冲电压信号,具体的参数如表1所示。
参考IEC 60270-2000[18],设计针板电极缺陷模型,如图4所示,模拟油纸绝缘实际运行中的尖端缺陷。图4中,针电极采用医用6号针头,板电极直径为75 mm;针与绝缘纸间的间隙为0 mm。
试验前使用不带高压针尖电极和绝缘纸的空白模型进行了背景噪声测试,测试结果显示在10 kV的外施电压下背景放电幅值不超过15 V。
选用杜邦公司Nomex T410型芳纶纸(厚度为0.05 mm)和克拉玛依25#矿物油进行研究,绝缘纸裁剪成长度为10 cm、宽度为8 cm的长方形。高频老化试验前,参考GB/T 7596—2008[19]对25#矿物油和绝缘纸分别进行预处理:①用滤油机去除油中水分、空气和杂质等;②将已裁剪的绝缘纸放置于上海博讯医疗生物股份有限公司生产的DZF-6020型真空干燥箱中,加热至105℃,保持48 h;③在80 Pa、85℃的条件下保持24 h;④将干燥的绝缘纸浸入过滤后的油中,在80 Pa、85℃的条件下保持48 h。
参考GB/T 1408.1—2006[20],采用阶梯升压法进行试验,对应的升压梯度和施加条件如表2所示,施加电压波形如图5所示。当施加电压低于1 kV时,以0.2 kV的步长逐步升高电压,在升压过程中保持恒定速率,每个电压下持续10 min;当施加电压值高于1 kV时,以0.5 kV的步长逐步升高电压,在升压过程中保持恒定速率,每个电压下持续10 min,以此规律逐步升压直至试样击穿。
采用高频脉冲电流(HFCT)法,获得高频脉冲下油纸绝缘的局部放电脉冲信号,采用小波降噪处理方法对电源干扰信号进行滤波处理,得到的局部放电幅值变化曲线如图68所示。由图68可知,局部放电主要集中于施加电压的上升沿和下降沿处,即电压极性反转时刻。在放电的初始时刻,上升沿处的放电幅值高于下降沿处的放电幅值。随着施加电压的增加,上升沿与下降沿处的放电幅值逐渐增加,在电压达到5 kV后基本呈对称分布;而在频率达到10 kHz后,上升沿和下降沿处放电幅值又呈不对称分布,存在频致拐点。另外,上升沿与下降沿处单个放电脉冲的持续时间为2.5~4.0 μs,且随着频率增加,单个脉冲的放电持续时间逐渐缩短。
图9图10分别给出了上升沿与下降沿处的放电幅值。由图910可知,在放电初始时刻,上升沿处的放电幅值高于下降沿处的放电幅值;随着施加电压增加,放电幅值整体呈增加趋势。施加电压达到2 kV前,上升沿与下降沿处放电幅值随电压增加基本呈线性增加趋势;施加电压为2~5 kV时,上升沿处放电幅值基本呈先下降后上升趋势,下降沿处放电幅值基本呈增加趋势;此外,随着频率增加,放电幅值略有下降。
基于HFCT法,开展工频下的油纸绝缘局部放电试验并进行对比,获取的工频下油纸绝缘的局部放电幅值变化规律如图1112所示。由图1112可知,工频下局部放电幅值仅有几mV,随着施加电压的增加,工频下局部放电幅值呈逐渐增加趋势。
经对比分析发现,高频下的局部放电幅值与工频下的局部放电幅值有较大的差异,高频下的局部放电幅值远高于工频下的局部放电幅值,高频下局部放电幅值可达80 V以上,而工频下的局部放电幅值最大只有10 mV左右。另外发现高频下的局部放电幅值存在频致拐点。因此,可利用局部放电幅值明确高频与工频电压下油纸绝缘的放电特征。
高频电压下油纸绝缘试验过程中,并未发出放电声响与光亮,试验模型仅在最后击穿时刻发出光亮。而在工频交流电压下,绝缘纸表面出现放电树枝并伴随有连续的放电声响,直至油纸绝缘试样击穿。在高频10 kHz试验中,取出两次试验后的油纸绝缘试样进行观察,结果如图13所示,其中图13(a)为加压至接近击穿电压时停止试验取出的绝缘纸试样,在表面无肉眼可见放电痕迹;图13(b)为击穿后取出的试样,其表面存在明显击穿孔洞,放电产生的碳痕集中在击穿孔洞周围。在工频交流放电试验中,在持续观测到油纸绝缘试样上出现放电树枝后停止试验,取出油纸绝缘试样进行观察,结果如图14所示,其中图14(a)为第一层试样表面,中心处为高压针尖电极所处位置,围绕中心有向四周生长的树枝状碳痕;图14(b)为第二层试样表面,还未出现放电损伤痕迹。
综上所述,高频脉冲电压下油纸绝缘试样的击穿为直击型,即3层油纸在最后击穿时刻直接击穿,在整个放电过程不存在爬电树枝现象,击穿后仅击穿点存在烧蚀坑。而工频交流电压下,油纸绝缘放电过程中存在长时间的沿面爬电现象,使绝缘纸表面产生电树枝,绝缘纸逐层劣化击穿。这与文献[21]的结论一致,即随着频率提升,聚乙烯电树形态逐渐由树枝型和丛状型向树干型和直击型转变。上述高频和工频电压下放电过程及局部放电幅值特性的差异可能与高频下更高的dV/dt及表面电荷弛豫特性改变有关。
基于上节内容可知,频率发生改变,引起电压上升率dV/dt发生变化,致使高频局部放电特性发生改变,与工频下的局部放电产生较大差异。
文献[22]中指出局部放电幅值A可以用式(1)表示。
A=CVPDIV-VRES+ΔV
式(1)中:C为与材料有关的常数;VPDIV为局部放电起始电压;VRES为残余电压;ΔV为电压降。
式(1)可以看出,局部放电幅值与电压降ΔV有很大关系。图15给出了方波脉电压下的局部放电示意图,可以看出,ΔV与局部放电时延tL和方波脉冲电压的dV/dt相关,即ΔV=dV/dt×tL,当放电时延一定时,dV/dt升高会导致ΔV增加,从而使得A增加。
图16图17分别给出了不同幅值和频率下的电压上升率dV/dt变化图。从图1617可以看出,方波脉冲电压幅值和频率的提高都会使dV/dt增大。因此,在高频方波脉冲电压下dV/dt增大时局部放电幅值增加。
图18给出了高频电压下缺陷表面电荷及电场变化图。从图18可以看出,随着电压幅值的增加,在极性反转处电压上升率dV/dt增大,外电场E0增加,超过局部放电起始电压,使得局部放电增强。此外,在极性反转时,对应图18中(a)、(c)阶段,缺陷中残余电荷来不及转动,残余电荷产生的电场方向保持不变,与外加电场方向相同,加强了缺陷处的电场,使得局部放电主要集中于极性反转处,即出现在施加电压的上升沿和下降沿处,且随着施加电压的增加,放电更加剧烈。当位于施加电压的正、负半周,表面电荷产生的电场和外电场方向相反,削弱了施加电压平顶处(正、负半周处)的电场,对应图18中(b)、(d)阶段,抑制了平顶处的局部放电,因此放电脉冲主要出现在方波电压的上升沿和下降沿。另外,随着频率增加,电压上升率dV/dt增加,电压极性变化快,单周期持续时间大幅缩短,前一次放电后形成的残余电荷扩散较少,缺陷表面可脱陷的电子增多,电荷储存效应增强,使得放电次数增加[23]
综上,高频电压下油纸绝缘局部放电幅值、放电次数增加,局部放电活动加剧,增强了电热耦合效应,导致高频下油纸绝缘击穿电压降低,出现直击现象,且高频局部放电强度高于工频局部放电强度。
(1)高频脉冲电压下局部放电行为主要发生在脉冲电压的上升沿和下降沿,且上升沿与下降沿放电幅值随施加电压上升变化规律不同。
(2)高频电压与工频电压下的局部放电特性差异明显,高频电压下的放电幅值远大于工频电压下的放电幅值,且高频油纸绝缘试样出现直击现象,整个放电过程未出现爬电痕迹。
(3)高频下电压上升率dV/dt远大于工频下的dV/dt,dV/dt的变化会影响局部放电幅值,同时频率的变化改变了电荷的积聚消散特性,缺陷处的表面电荷增多和局部场强增强导致放电次数增加,从而影响局部放电行为。这是高频电压与工频电压下放电特性不同的重要原因。
