An epoxy insulating material with high moisture resistance was prepared by grafting the hydroxyl terminated polydimethylsiloxane on o-cresol epoxy resin, and its properties were analyzed from the perspective of theoretical calculation and experiment. The results show that when the mass fraction of hydroxyl terminated polydimethylsiloxane is 10%, the modulus and toughness of the modified epoxy resin are higher, the volume change rate at high temperature is smaller. In the layer model of modified epoxy resin and water, the water molecules diffuse away from the epoxy resin. The water absorption of modified epoxy resin is decreased by 13.74% compared with the unmodified epoxy resin. After water absorption, both the volume resistivity and surface resistivity of the modified epoxy resin sample are higher than those of the unmodified epoxy resin, and its electric strength increases by 1.1 kV/mm compared with the unmodified epoxy resin.

采用端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷对邻甲酚酚醛环氧树脂进行接枝改性,制备一种高防潮性能的环氧绝缘材料,从理论计算及实验的角度对其性能进行了分析。结果表明:当端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷质量分数为10%时,改性环氧树脂的模量和韧性较高、高温体积变化率较小;在改性环氧树脂与水的层模型中,水分子向远离环氧树脂的方向扩散;改性环氧树脂样品的吸水率相对于未改性的降低了13.74%;在吸水后,改性环氧树脂样品的体积电阻率和表面电阻率均大于未改性的,且电气强度比未改性的提升了1.1 kV/mm。

采用端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷对邻甲酚酚醛环氧树脂进行接枝改性,制备一种高防潮性能的环氧绝缘材料,从理论计算及实验的角度对其性能进行了分析。结果表明:当端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷质量分数为10%时,改性环氧树脂的模量和韧性较高、高温体积变化率较小;在改性环氧树脂与水的层模型中,水分子向远离环氧树脂的方向扩散;改性环氧树脂样品的吸水率相对于未改性的降低了13.74%;在吸水后,改性环氧树脂样品的体积电阻率和表面电阻率均大于未改性的,且电气强度比未改性的提升了1.1 kV/mm。

An epoxy insulating material with high moisture resistance was prepared by grafting the hydroxyl terminated polydimethylsiloxane on o-cresol epoxy resin, and its properties were analyzed from the perspective of theoretical calculation and experiment. The results show that when the mass fraction of hydroxyl terminated polydimethylsiloxane is 10%, the modulus and toughness of the modified epoxy resin are higher, the volume change rate at high temperature is smaller. In the layer model of modified epoxy resin and water, the water molecules diffuse away from the epoxy resin. The water absorption of modified epoxy resin is decreased by 13.74% compared with the unmodified epoxy resin. After water absorption, both the volume resistivity and surface resistivity of the modified epoxy resin sample are higher than those of the unmodified epoxy resin, and its electric strength increases by 1.1 kV/mm compared with the unmodified epoxy resin.

金属膜电阻器具有温度系数和电压系数小的优点,在电力测量设备中得到广泛的应用[1-4]。然而,很多电力测量设备需在户外长期挂网运行,电阻器将承受电、热、水分的共同作用,这对金属膜电阻器的涂层绝缘材料性能提出了更高的要求。提升金属膜电阻器膜涂层绝缘材料的防潮性能,对改善金属膜电阻器性能的稳定性,进而保障电力测量设备的精度具有重要的意义[5-7]
环氧树脂具有成本低、稳定性好、绝缘性能优异的特点,是主流的电子封装涂层材料[8-9],但其防潮能力不强。为提升环氧树脂的防潮性能,朱志刚等[10]采用3种氯硅烷水解制备羟基有机硅中间体,并用其对双酚A型环氧树脂进行改性,结果表明,改性环氧树脂的吸水率降低,而且力学性能和热分解温度都得到提升。黎强科等[11]使用有机硅对E-20环氧树脂进行改性,结果表明,改性环氧树脂的耐热性能略有下降,但耐沸水性能得到提升。尹立等[12]使用含氟改性剂和含硅改性剂联合对环氧树脂进行改性,赋予了环氧树脂优异的憎水性和韧性。S AHMAD等[13]采用端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷对双酚A型环氧树脂进行改性,环氧固化产物表现出较好的防潮性能。S K RATH等[14]使用端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷先与氰酸酯形成预聚物,然后再对环氧树脂进行改性,结果表明,改性环氧树脂的热稳定性得到明显改善。在提升环氧树脂防潮性能方面,目前主要以有机硅改性为主,通过在改性环氧树脂中引入疏水性甲基和柔性的Si-O键[10],从而提升环氧树脂的防潮性能,同时起到增韧的效果。
金属膜电阻器使用工况的差异化对电阻器涂层绝缘材料的防潮能力要求不同,±800 kV的电压测量装置在室温下运行时其内部最高温度为50℃左右[15]。本研究将针对电压测量装置用金属膜电阻器的运行工况,使用端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷对耐热性能优异的邻甲酚酚醛环氧树脂进行改性,通过理论计算结合实验研究的方法研制一种金属膜电阻器用高防潮性能的环氧绝缘材料。
本研究使用端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷对邻甲酚酚醛环氧树脂进行改性,改性示意图如图1所示。通过改变改性前后邻甲酚酚醛环氧树脂分子链的数量,并将其与甲基六氢苯酐进行复合,获得端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷质量分数分别为0、5%、10%、15%、20%的复合模型,如图2所示。
由于实际环氧绝缘材料是由固化剂与环氧树脂通过环氧基开环进行交联固化而成,为了模拟实际情况,先对每个复合模型进行5 000步的几何优化[16],使得模型的能量达到最小,之后在25℃下进行200 ps的NVT和NPT动力学平衡,让模型的物理化学性质趋于稳定。最后在160℃下对动力学平衡后的模型进行交联固化处理,使得环氧树脂与固化剂形成三维交联网络。在对模型进行理论计算的过程中,在3.5~7.0 Å的截断半径范围内不断迭代寻找成对的固化剂与环氧基团,如果出现成对的固化剂与环氧基团,则将环氧基团开环,并通过化学键将开环的环氧基团与固化剂连接起来,从而达到交联固化的效果。在实际中,环氧树脂与固化剂由于位阻效应等影响,交联密度无法达到100%,因此理论计算时选取交联密度为85%的模型进行后续的性能计算。为模拟金属膜电阻器在电压互感器中运行时电阻涂层绝缘材料的性能变化情况,先在25℃下进行200 ps的NVT平衡,然后分别在25℃和50℃下进行200 ps的NPT动力学计算,压强为1个标准大气压,温度控制和压力控制方法分别为Nose、Berendsen,选用高精度的COMPASSII力场。
对各个模型的力学性能进行计算,结果如图3所示。
图3可知,随着端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷含量的增大,复合模型的杨氏模量逐渐下降。当温度为25℃时,杨氏模量下降的速率相对较小。当温度为50℃时,端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷质量分数小于15%的模型杨氏模量下降也相对缓慢,其中端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷质量分数为10%和15%的模型杨氏模量基本相同。当端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷质量分数大于15%时,杨氏模量出现了明显的下降现象,这表明随着端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷含量的增大,改性环氧树脂的刚性减小,抗形变能力降低。模型的体模量在温度为25℃时也随着端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷含量的增大缓慢下降,但在温度为50℃时模型的体模量出现先上升后下降的趋势,在端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷质量分数为5%和10%时体模量提升比较明显。随着端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷含量的增大,模型的柯西压先在端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷质量分数为5%时出现明显的增大现象,之后减小并趋于稳定,但改性模型的柯西压相对于未改性模型均得到提升,表明端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷改性提升了环氧树脂的韧性[17]
当端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷的质量分数为5%时,由于端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷含量少,体系中交联点主要以固化剂与环氧基的交联结合为主,固化剂与环氧基交联形成的网状结构形成位阻效应阻碍了部分端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷的反应,端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷的半自由状态增大了体系的韧性,所以端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷质量分数为5%时,模型的柯西压值最大。随着端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷含量的增大,端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷反应的数量增多,端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷两端绝大多数都连接到三维网状结构中,对模型的增韧只能通过Si-O键来实现,因此随着端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷含量的增大,模型的韧性相对于端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷质量分数为5%的模型有所下降。但由于模型中引入了大量的Si-O键,使得模型的韧性相对于未改性模型都得到了明显提升。从整体力学性能来看,在端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷质量分数为10%时,改性环氧树脂兼具高模量和高韧性的特点。
金属膜电阻器在运行过程中,由于发热会引起其内部温度升高,从而影响电阻膜层表面涂层材料的性能,为研究电阻器运行工况下电阻膜涂层材料的性能变化规律,对不同质量分数端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷复合模型的体积变化率进行计算分析,计算公式如式(1)所示。

式(1)中:δ为体积变化率;V25为25℃时模型的体积;V50为50℃时模型的体积。计算结果如图4所示。
图4可知,随着端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷含量的增大,复合模型的体积变化率增大,但在端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷质量分数为0~10%时,复合模型的体积变化率都比较小。在端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷质量分数大于10%以后,模型的体积变化率出现了明显的增大现象。可见端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷的含量越大,模型的热膨胀能力越强,不利于环氧树脂稳定地粘结在电阻器膜层表面。从模型的力学性能分析可知,随着端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷含量的增大,模型的模量值逐渐下降,抗形变能力减弱,因此当温度从25℃升高至50℃时,模型的体积增大,但模型的韧性同时也得到提升,从这个角度说明端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷的加入虽然会导致环氧树脂的抗形变能力下降,但韧性提高,从而能在一定程度上抑制环氧树脂的高温开裂问题。当端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷质量分数为10%时,改性环氧树脂在兼顾较好的力学性能的同时,其体积变化率也相对最小。
从复合模型力学性能和体积变化率测试结果分析表明,端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷质量分数为10%的环氧树脂性能相对最优,因此选取端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷质量分数为10%的模型进行水分子扩散强度分析。先建立环氧树脂与水分子的层模型,如图5所示。然后分别在25℃和50℃下进行分子动力学计算,分析水分子在环氧树脂表面的扩散行为,以此来对改性前后环氧树脂的憎水性进行分析,计算结果如图6所示。
图6(a)可以看出,未改性的模型中水分子层与环氧树脂层的中心初始距离为23.62 Å(25℃),随着模拟计算时间的增加,水分子层与环氧树脂层的中心距离变化很小,在25℃和50℃下计算时长为200 ps时水分子层与环氧树脂层的中心距离分别为23.04 Å、23.10 Å,基本在23 Å附近波动,比初始时刻的距离小,表明水分子有向环氧树脂方向扩散的趋势。从图6(b)可以看出,改性模型中水分子层与环氧树脂层的中心初始距离为23.43 Å(25℃),随着模拟计算时间的增加,水分子层与环氧树脂层的中心距离整体上呈逐渐增大的趋势。在25℃和50℃下计算时长为200 ps时水分子层与环氧树脂层的中心距离分别为24.54 Å、25.15 Å,两者均比25℃下的初始距离大,说明水分子向远离环氧树脂的方向运动,表明端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷改性环氧树脂能对水分子产生排斥作用,具有较好的防潮效果。
实验原材料:邻甲酚酚醛环氧树脂,黏度为1 500~4 500 mPa·s,深圳市汇特化工有限公司;羟基硅油,黏度(25℃)为25~30 mPa·s,济南兴飞隆化工有限公司;磷酸,GR,浓度≥85%,上海麦克林生化科技有限公司。
合成步骤:①将邻甲酚酚醛环氧树脂放入120℃烘箱中预热2 h;②称取200 g预热好的邻甲酚酚醛环氧树脂,倒入反应釜中,控制反应釜的温度为160℃;③按照环氧树脂与端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷总质量的10%称取端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷的用量,并将磷酸与端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷混合后充分搅拌,磷酸用量为环氧树脂质量的0.6%;④将端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷和磷酸的混合液倒入反应釜中与环氧树脂进行高温搅拌反应4 h,得到端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷改性环氧树脂。
(1)环氧值:按照GB/T 4612—2008对端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷改性前后的邻甲酚酚醛环氧树脂进行环氧值测定,结果如表1所示。从表1可以看出,使用端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷对邻甲酚酚醛环氧树脂进行改性后,环氧树脂的环氧值减小了0.065 8 mol/100 g。
(2)红外测试结果:为验证端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷是否与环氧树脂进行了反应,对改性和未改性的环氧树脂样品进行了红外光谱测试分析,结果如图7所示。其中,未改性环氧树脂是指邻甲酚酚醛环氧树脂与端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷仅进行物理混合10 min获得的样品,改性环氧树脂是指按照上述端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷改性环氧树脂的步骤合成的样品。
图7可以看出,改性和未改性环氧树脂的红外光谱变化趋势相似,但环氧基所在的特征吸收峰有区别。913 cm-1和1 246 cm-1处分别对应环氧基的对称和非对称伸缩振动吸收峰[18],改性后的环氧树脂在这两个波数处的特征吸收峰强度相对于未改性环氧树脂有一定程度的减小,改性后环氧树脂的环氧基被部分消耗,表明端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷已成功对环氧树脂进行改性。
实验材料:邻甲酚酚醛环氧树脂,黏度为1 500~4 500 mPa·s,深圳市汇特化工有限公司;端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷改性邻甲酚酚醛环氧树脂,实验室合成;甲基六氢苯酐(MHHPA),95%,黏度(25℃)为40~50 mPa·s,上海阿拉丁试剂有限公司。N,N-二甲基苄胺,99%,上海麦克林生化科技有限公司。
制备步骤:①将改性前后的邻甲酚酚醛环氧树脂放入120℃的烘箱中预热2 h;②称取200 g预热好的环氧树脂倒入反应釜中,控制反应釜的温度为120℃;③按照环氧值大小计算固化剂的用量;④将固化剂倒入反应釜中与环氧树脂充分混合;⑤加入1%的N,N-二甲基苄胺,在120℃下高温搅拌反应30 min后进行真空浇注;⑥在120℃的烘箱中进行固化反应24 h,得到样件。
按照GB/T 1034—2008对改性前后的环氧树脂样件进行吸水率测试,样品厚度为1 mm,直径为10 cm,结果如图8所示。
图8可知,在沸水中浸泡30 min后,未改性环氧树脂的吸水率为0.684%,改性环氧树脂的吸水率为0.590%,改性环氧树脂样件的吸水率相对于未改性环氧树脂样件下降了13.74%。改性环氧树脂样件的吸水率比未改性环氧树脂样件的小,这与理论计算结果一致,由于水分子向远离环氧树脂的方向运动,导致改性环氧树脂样件的吸水率下降,表明制备的端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷改性环氧树脂憎水性较好,将改性树脂应用于金属膜电阻器的涂层绝缘材料能有效提升电阻器的防潮能力。
按照GB/T 1410—2006对改性前后的环氧树脂样件进行体积电阻率和表面电阻率测试,结果如图9所示。由图9(a)可知,改性前后环氧树脂样件的体积电阻率均在1016数量级,在未吸水时,未改性环氧树脂样件的体积电阻率比改性环氧树脂样件的大,这是因为改性环氧树脂分子结构中引入了柔性的Si-O-Si键,柔性链段的运动能力较强,导致其内部的自由体积比未改性环氧树脂样件的大,所以改性环氧树脂的体积电阻率减小。但在吸水后,改性环氧树脂样件的电阻率比未改性环氧树脂样件的大,这是由于端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷具有较好的憎水性,抑制了部分水分子向样件内部渗透。从图9(b)可以看出,改性前后环氧树脂样件的表面电阻率均在1014数量级,在未吸水时,改性环氧树脂样件的表面电阻率略大于未改性环氧树脂样件;在吸水后,未改性环氧树脂样件的表面电阻率出现了明显的下降现象,改性环氧树脂样件的表面电阻率下降幅度相对较小,且表面电阻率数值比未改性的大。在吸水后,样件的体积电阻率下降幅度比表面电阻率小,这是因为水分与样件表面接触的面积大,表面容易吸水,而水分进入样品内部需要穿透多层分子结构,难度相对较大,不利于水分子的扩散。由于端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷具有憎水特性,所以端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷改性的环氧树脂吸水率小,在相同的吸水时长下其体积电阻率和表面电阻率数值更大。
按照GB/T 1408.1—2016对改性前后环氧树脂样件的交流电气强度进行测试,结果如图10所示。
图10可知,环氧树脂样件电气强度的变化规律与体积电阻率的变化规律相似。在未吸水时,环氧树脂样件的电气强度都在38 kV/mm以上。在吸水后,未改性、改性环氧树脂样件的电气强度分别下降了4 kV/mm、2.6 kV/mm,改性环氧树脂样件的电气强度比未改性环氧树脂样件的高1.1 kV/mm,表明本研究制备的端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷改性环氧树脂在潮湿环境下能保持较好的绝缘性能。
(1)分子动力学研究表明,随着端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷含量增大,环氧树脂的杨氏模量逐渐下降,但在端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷质量分数为10%时,改性环氧树脂兼具高模量和高韧性的特点,且高温体积变化率较小;端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷改性环氧树脂后,水分子向远离环氧树脂的方向扩散。
(2)实验研究表明,改性环氧树脂的吸水率相对于比未改性的降低了13.74%;在吸水后,改性环氧树脂的体积电阻率和表面电阻率均比未改性的大,且电气场强比未改性的提升了1.1 kV/mm。
(3)理论计算及实验一致表明,本研究制备的端羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷改性环氧绝缘材料具有较好的防潮性能,能提升金属膜电阻器在潮湿环境下的可靠性。
