Three kinds of organic ultraviolet absorbers with the same concentration were added to polyethylene terephthalate (PET) films, and the properties of PET films before and after UV ageing were tested, and then the effects of ultraviolet absorbers on the UV ageing properties of PET films were studied. The results show that the UV ageing properties of PET films are related to the structure of ultraviolet absorber. Compared with triazine and benzotriazole ultraviolet absorbers, oxazinone ultraviolet absorber exhibits red shift of UV absorption wavelength, wider UV absorption range, and stronger UV absorption intensity because of its hyperconjugated structure. With the increase of ultraviolet radiation energy, the mechanical properties and glossiness of the three kinds of UV resistant transparent films decrease gradually, and the yellow index increases gradually. When the ultraviolet radiation energy is higher than 120 kWh/m2, the property differences of the three kinds of UV resistant transparent films before and after ageing are obvious. The property difference of the film containing oxazinone hyperconjugated structure ultraviolet absorber before and after UV ageing is the smallest, and the ageing resistance is the best.

通过在聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)薄膜中添加3种相同浓度不同类型的有机紫外线吸收剂,并对PET薄膜试样紫外老化前后性能进行测试,研究紫外线吸收剂对PET薄膜紫外老化性能的影响。结果表明:PET薄膜的紫外老化性能与紫外线吸收剂结构有关,相对于三嗪类和苯并三唑类紫外线吸收剂,氧氮杂萘酮类结构紫外线吸收剂由于具有超共轭结构,表现出紫外吸收波长红移、更宽的紫外吸收范围和更强的紫外吸收强度;随着紫外线辐照能量增加,3种耐紫外透明薄膜试样的力学性能和光泽度均逐渐下降,黄色指数逐渐上升,当紫外辐照能量高于120 kWh/m2时,3种耐紫外透明薄膜试样老化前后的性能差距逐渐明显,其中含氧氮杂萘酮类超共轭结构紫外线吸收剂的薄膜试样在紫外老化前后性能差异最小,耐老化性能最好。

通过在聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)薄膜中添加3种相同浓度不同类型的有机紫外线吸收剂,并对PET薄膜试样紫外老化前后性能进行测试,研究紫外线吸收剂对PET薄膜紫外老化性能的影响。结果表明:PET薄膜的紫外老化性能与紫外线吸收剂结构有关,相对于三嗪类和苯并三唑类紫外线吸收剂,氧氮杂萘酮类结构紫外线吸收剂由于具有超共轭结构,表现出紫外吸收波长红移、更宽的紫外吸收范围和更强的紫外吸收强度;随着紫外线辐照能量增加,3种耐紫外透明薄膜试样的力学性能和光泽度均逐渐下降,黄色指数逐渐上升,当紫外辐照能量高于120 kWh/m2时,3种耐紫外透明薄膜试样老化前后的性能差距逐渐明显,其中含氧氮杂萘酮类超共轭结构紫外线吸收剂的薄膜试样在紫外老化前后性能差异最小,耐老化性能最好。

Three kinds of organic ultraviolet absorbers with the same concentration were added to polyethylene terephthalate (PET) films, and the properties of PET films before and after UV ageing were tested, and then the effects of ultraviolet absorbers on the UV ageing properties of PET films were studied. The results show that the UV ageing properties of PET films are related to the structure of ultraviolet absorber. Compared with triazine and benzotriazole ultraviolet absorbers, oxazinone ultraviolet absorber exhibits red shift of UV absorption wavelength, wider UV absorption range, and stronger UV absorption intensity because of its hyperconjugated structure. With the increase of ultraviolet radiation energy, the mechanical properties and glossiness of the three kinds of UV resistant transparent films decrease gradually, and the yellow index increases gradually. When the ultraviolet radiation energy is higher than 120 kWh/m2, the property differences of the three kinds of UV resistant transparent films before and after ageing are obvious. The property difference of the film containing oxazinone hyperconjugated structure ultraviolet absorber before and after UV ageing is the smallest, and the ageing resistance is the best.

聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)薄膜由于具有优异的力学性能和电气性能,广泛用于电机的槽绝缘和层间绝缘。针对电机用双向拉伸聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(BOPET)薄膜,已有许多学者对其结构及改性、结晶性能、加工方式等进行了广泛的研究和报道[1-3]。伴随着国内光伏产业的蓬勃发展,国产BOPET薄膜在光伏背板中得到了广泛应用,国内已有许多学者对于光伏背板用BOPET薄膜的性能进行了深入的研究[4-6]
近些年来,双面发电光伏组件由于发电效率可观,在组件中的份额快速提升,其应用的透明BOPET薄膜的市场需求进一步扩大,相应的技术要求也进一步提高。目前,关于透明背板用PET薄膜,国内学者们主要从抗水解剂[7]、湿热老化条件[8]、结晶度[9-10]等方面进行详尽地研究,但关于PET背板基膜耐紫外性能的报道甚少,多集中在纳米TiO2、ZnO、SiO2、Fe2O3、ZrO2等无机紫外线吸收剂的研究[11-13],主要利用纳米粉体吸收紫外线的特性,达到保护材料的目的。然而无机纳米材料的添加量会对PET薄膜的透明度产生影响,添加少量无机紫外线吸收剂虽然能在不影响薄膜透明度的前提下提高其耐紫外性能,但添加量过低,紫外吸收效率不高,达不到PET背板基膜使用25年的紫外保护要求,而大量填充无机纳米粉体虽然能进一步提高薄膜的耐紫外性能,但纳米粉体在PET基体中很难均匀分散,会影响薄膜的透明度,降低PET透明背板组件的发电效率,极大地制约了国产透明耐紫外PET背板基膜在光伏产业的应用。
针对无机纳米紫外线吸收剂的不足,考虑到有机紫外线吸收剂摩尔消光系数大,紫外吸收效率高,同时不影响PET薄膜透明性的特点,本研究选用3种有机紫外线吸收剂与PET薄膜复合,研究3种有机紫外线吸收剂对PET薄膜紫外老化性能的影响。
根据表1试验配方称取各组分,在粉末搅拌试验机中共混,然后在280℃下熔融挤出,接着采用静态双轴拉伸机在120℃下进行拉伸和在200℃下进行热定型5 s,制得含不同紫外线吸收剂的透明PET薄膜试样,薄膜厚度均为125 μm。
UV1902PC型紫外可见分光光度计,上海奥析科学仪器有限公司;UTM2000型电子拉力万能试验机,深圳三思纵横科技股份有限公司;Intelli-Ray Quad型紫外固化箱,美国UVITRON公司;PCT-40F型高压加速老化试验仪,东莞市泓进检测仪器有限公司;ColorQuest XE型测色仪,美国Hunterlab公司;BYK4443型光泽度仪(60°),德国Gardner GmbH公司;JWC-32C1型乌氏黏度仪,上海思尔达科学仪器有限公司;薄膜静态双向拉伸试验机,汕头市金平区德华机械厂。
按GB/T 13542.2—2009进行测试,试样宽度为15 mm,长度为200 mm,拉伸速率为100 mm/min。
黏度按GB/T 14190—2017第5.1.1节进行测试;端羧基含量按GB/T 14190—2017第5.4节进行测试。
按HG/T 3862—2006进行测试,其中黄色指数(YI)的计算公式如式(1)所示。

式(1)中,XYZ为测得的3个刺激值。
按GB 8807—1988进行测试,入射角为60°。
按GB/T 36289.1—2018进行测试。将样条挂好放入PCT加速老化试验仪的中部,关上箱门,设定试验温度为121℃,试验时间为48 h。试验结束后泄压,当温度降到80℃以下时,打开箱门,取出样条,擦干表面的水滴后放入标准环境中平衡2 h以上,进行拉伸试验。
按IEC 61646:2008规定进行测试,金属卤素灯中的UVB(280~320 nm)能量占总能量的3%~10%,灯管辐照度为180 W/m2。将耐紫外PET薄膜试样制成一定的尺寸规格,放入紫外金属卤素灯老化箱进行紫外辐照,辐照总能量分别为30、60、90、120、150、180 kWh/m2,试样老化结束后,进行相关性能测试。
PET材料的紫外降解由其化学键键能决定,聚酯分子中共价键键能最低的是碳氧键(C-O)和碳碳键(C-C),键能分别为326 kJ/mol和347.9 kJ/mol,而阳光中波长为300 nm和400 nm的紫外线能量分别为399 kJ和299 kJ,因此当PET材料受到太阳光照射后,容易发生光降解,为提高PET材料的耐紫外线性能,一般添加紫外线吸收剂进行改进。
吸光度是表征材料吸收紫外线能力强弱的指标。众所周知,太阳光中波长为290~400 nm的紫外线由于波长较短,能量高,对PET薄膜的破坏尤为严重[14]。尤其是波长为290~325 nm的紫外线对PET薄膜的破坏最大。图1为不同PET薄膜的吸光度曲线。
图1可以看出,4种PET薄膜的吸光度曲线表现出不同的形状,反映了试样分别添加不同类别的有机紫外线吸收剂后,紫外吸收曲线发生了变化。从图中还可以看出,3种添加了有机紫外线吸收剂的薄膜试样紫外波长都发生了红移,其中试样A的紫外吸收波长红移最大,达到了350 nm,这是由于相对于三嗪类和苯并三唑类紫外线吸收剂而言,氧氮杂萘酮结构紫外线吸收剂在分子内形成一个超共轭结构,共轭体系使电子离域性更大,跃迁能量降低,吸收峰向高波长方向移动,在紫外可见吸收光谱中最大紫外吸收峰波长红移表现最大。
一般来说,晶硅电池接受的可见光透过率越高,越有助于提高晶硅电池的光电转换效率[15]图2为不同PET薄膜试样的透光率曲线。从图2看出,普通透明PET薄膜在400~1 000 nm的可见光透过率最高,因此其对晶硅电池的光电转换效率最高,试样A的可见光透过率比其他两种耐紫外薄膜试样的高,这可能是不同的有机紫外线吸收剂对可见光吸收能力强弱不同所致。
PET薄膜是背板的重要组成部分,在光伏组件工作期间,PET基材除发生光老化以外,还会发生湿热老化。湿热老化后的PET薄膜性能对光伏组件的电气性能和力学性能会产生影响。PET分子链中含有大量的酯基链段,酯基在高温环境下易发生水解反应,使得分子链断裂,产生羧基(-COOH),羧基电离出氢离子(H+),氢离子进一步催化PET降解,发生自催化效应,使PET分子量降低[16-17],最终导致组件电气性能和力学性能下降。为抑制PET在水解过程产生端羧基催化PET分子链降解,分别在试样A、试样B、试样C中添加抗水解剂,以捕捉水解过程产生的端羧基,控制端羧基含量在25 mol/t以下,保障透明背板组件25年的使用寿命。图3是4种薄膜试样在121℃、100%RH条件下老化48 h后的断裂伸长率保持率结果,表2为4种薄膜试样的特性黏度和端羧基含量测试结果。从图3表2可以看出,普通透明PET薄膜的断裂伸长率保持率最低,而其余3种耐紫外薄膜试样的断裂伸长保持率差别不大,这是由于3种耐紫外薄膜试样的特性黏度和端羧基含量基本一致,黏度在0.68 dL/g左右,端羧基含量在24 mol/t左右,说明薄膜的耐水解性能相当。
PET分子对波长为325 nm以下的紫外线最敏感,吸收紫外线能量后,容易引起分子链断键,影响PET薄膜的力学性能。图4为不同PET薄膜试样力学性能和辐照能量的关系。从图4可以看出,4种PET薄膜试样在紫外照射后,断裂伸长率都呈下降趋势,但普通透明PET薄膜试样的下降幅度最大,试样A表现最优。究其原因是PET薄膜在紫外能量照射下,薄膜中的紫外线吸收剂吸收了大量紫外线,减弱或降低紫外线能量对PET分子链的破坏,分子量仍然保持较高水平;而普通PET薄膜由于没有紫外线吸收剂的保护,分子链发生断键,产生自由基,自由基攻击分子链,使分子链发生劣化进一步断键,断裂伸长率明显下降。另外从图4中还可以看出,3种耐紫外PET透明薄膜试样的断裂伸长率表现形式也不一样,这是由紫外线吸收剂分子结构对紫外线能量吸收强弱不一致所致。紫外照射120 kWh/m2能量后,试样A的断裂伸长率表现最佳,试样C表现最差。
耐紫外光老化性能一般用黄色指数(YI)进行表征。PET薄膜发生紫外老化后,会产生发色基团,从而变黄。图5为不同PET薄膜试样黄色指数与辐照能量的关系。从图5可以看出,4种PET薄膜试样在紫外照射后,黄色指数均呈现上升趋势,其中普通PET薄膜的黄色指数较耐紫外PET薄膜上升明显。这是由于分子链在光、热、潮湿环境下,PET分子芳环上的氢原子在紫外照射下产生自由基,自由基与空气中氧气产生氢过氧化基团,并进一步生成一酚羟基或二酚羟基衍生物,引起PET树脂变黄[18]。而耐紫外PET薄膜中的抗紫外线吸收剂成分能吸收一部分紫外线能量,使得产生自由基的数量和速度较普通PET薄膜低,最终在相同紫外能量辐照下产生黄变的衍生物含量较低,薄膜黄变程度也较低。
PET薄膜在紫外照射老化后,表面容易发生粉化,造成光泽度下降。图6为不同PET薄膜试样光泽度与辐照能量的关系。从图6可以看出,4种薄膜试样在紫外照射后,光泽度都呈现一定幅度下降,其中试样A的光泽度下降最小。这是因为PET树脂在紫外照射一定能量后,分子链发生断裂,产生CO、CO2、H2O等小分子,小分子的溢出使得薄膜表面产生缺陷,随着辐照能量的增加,这种缺陷进一步放大,薄膜表面由镜面反射向漫反射转移,造成薄膜表面光泽度降低。而耐紫外PET薄膜由于自身耐紫外线的特性,这种缺陷的产生速度相对较慢,因此光泽度下降速率较慢。
在PET树脂中添加不同结构的有机紫外线吸收剂,利用双向拉伸机制备了耐紫外PET薄膜,并研究了其性能,主要得到以下结论:
(1)3种透明耐紫外PET薄膜试样的紫外老化性能有所不同,其中含氧氮杂萘酮结构紫外线吸收剂的PET薄膜由于具有超共轭结构,相对于含三嗪类结构和苯并三唑类结构紫外线吸收剂的薄膜试样而言,其具有更宽的紫外吸收波长范围和更高的紫外能量吸收效率,表现出优异的耐紫外线性能。
(2)3种透明耐紫外PET薄膜的耐水解性能与薄膜的黏度与端羧基含量有关,3种试样这两个指标差别不大,黏度在0.68 dL/g左右,端羧基含量在24 mol/t左右,耐水解性能表现相当。
(3)随着紫外辐照能量的增加,3种透明耐紫外PET薄膜试样的断裂伸长率、光泽度逐渐下降,黄色指数逐渐上升,综合而言,其中试样A的紫外老化性能表现最佳,试样C表现最差。
