In order to better use the repetitive surge oscillograph (RSO) method to quantitatively evaluate the turn-to-turn insulation defects of generator rotor winding, we conducted turn-to-turn short circuit simulation tests under different positions, different short circuit coils, and different short-circuit resistance on a real rotor when the generator was being repaired. The response waveform and characteristic waveform of the two poles were obtained by the RSO device. Three characteristic parameters that is voltage deviation rate, time deviation rate, and fault severity factor were proposed to study the characteristic waveform. The results show that RSO can be used to quantitatively evaluate the severity of turn-to-turn insulation defects of rotor, the fault type of rotor winding can be quickly determined according to the amplitude and deviation rate of voltage of characteristic waveform, and the fault location can be basically realized according to the time deviation rate. The voltage amplitude of the RSO characteristic waveform has a linear positive correlation with the number of short-circuit coils, and has an exponential relationship with the short-circuit resistance and the center time, respectively. The fault severity factor has a linear positive correlation with the number of short-circuit coils. According to the analysis results, two methods to quantitatively evaluate the severity of rotor turn to turn insulation defects are proposed, which can be used to accurately evaluate the turn-to-turn insulation status of rotors.

为了更好地应用重复脉冲法(RSO)对发电机转子绕组匝间绝缘缺陷进行定量评估,利用发电机检修时机对转子进行了不同位置、不同短路匝数、不同短路阻值下的匝间短路模拟试验,采用RSO试验仪测试得到两极响应波形和特征波形,提出了电压偏差率、时间偏差率和故障严重程度因子3个特征参数对特征波形进行研究。结果表明:RSO可以用于定量评估转子匝间绝缘缺陷的严重程度,可根据特征波形的电压幅值和电压偏差率快速判断出转子绕组的故障类型,根据时间偏差率基本可以实现故障位置的定位。RSO特征波形的电压幅值与短路匝数基本呈线性正相关关系,与短路电阻值和中心时间均呈指数函数关系,故障严重程度因子与短路匝数呈线性正相关关系。根据分析结果提出了两种定量评估转子匝间绝缘缺陷严重程度的方法,可用于准确评估转子匝间绝缘状态。

为了更好地应用重复脉冲法(RSO)对发电机转子绕组匝间绝缘缺陷进行定量评估,利用发电机检修时机对转子进行了不同位置、不同短路匝数、不同短路阻值下的匝间短路模拟试验,采用RSO试验仪测试得到两极响应波形和特征波形,提出了电压偏差率、时间偏差率和故障严重程度因子3个特征参数对特征波形进行研究。结果表明:RSO可以用于定量评估转子匝间绝缘缺陷的严重程度,可根据特征波形的电压幅值和电压偏差率快速判断出转子绕组的故障类型,根据时间偏差率基本可以实现故障位置的定位。RSO特征波形的电压幅值与短路匝数基本呈线性正相关关系,与短路电阻值和中心时间均呈指数函数关系,故障严重程度因子与短路匝数呈线性正相关关系。根据分析结果提出了两种定量评估转子匝间绝缘缺陷严重程度的方法,可用于准确评估转子匝间绝缘状态。

In order to better use the repetitive surge oscillograph (RSO) method to quantitatively evaluate the turn-to-turn insulation defects of generator rotor winding, we conducted turn-to-turn short circuit simulation tests under different positions, different short circuit coils, and different short-circuit resistance on a real rotor when the generator was being repaired. The response waveform and characteristic waveform of the two poles were obtained by the RSO device. Three characteristic parameters that is voltage deviation rate, time deviation rate, and fault severity factor were proposed to study the characteristic waveform. The results show that RSO can be used to quantitatively evaluate the severity of turn-to-turn insulation defects of rotor, the fault type of rotor winding can be quickly determined according to the amplitude and deviation rate of voltage of characteristic waveform, and the fault location can be basically realized according to the time deviation rate. The voltage amplitude of the RSO characteristic waveform has a linear positive correlation with the number of short-circuit coils, and has an exponential relationship with the short-circuit resistance and the center time, respectively. The fault severity factor has a linear positive correlation with the number of short-circuit coils. According to the analysis results, two methods to quantitatively evaluate the severity of rotor turn to turn insulation defects are proposed, which can be used to accurately evaluate the turn-to-turn insulation status of rotors.

汽轮发电机是发电厂最重要的设备之一,对电力系统的安全稳定运行至关重要[1-3]。近年来,随着火电机组的利用小时数逐年下降,运行方式逐渐转变为调峰、调频等灵活运行方式[4-5],机组的频繁启停会导致转子绕组(尤其是端部位置)因应力蠕变而发生变形,进而破坏匝间绝缘发展为匝间短路[6]。据统计,发电机转子绕组匝间短路已经成为转子绝缘故障的主要形式之一[7-8]
对于大型汽轮发电机,较轻微的转子匝间短路故障可能引起局部过热、振动增大,一般不影响运行,但是如果不能及时发现绝缘缺陷,任其发展,则匝间绝缘短路故障会发生劣化,严重时造成短路点绝缘烧损接地、大轴磁化,甚至发生转子烧损事故[9]。因此,准确评估转子绕组匝间绝缘短路故障的严重程度具有重要意义。
常见的转子匝间绝缘诊断方法有探测线圈波形法、交流阻抗法、重复脉冲法、极间电压法、线圈电压分布法等。重复脉冲法(repetitive surge oscillograph, RSO)是近些年来广泛应用于发电机转子匝间绝缘短路故障诊断的手段之一[10-11]。与其他传统方法相比,该方法具有灵敏度高、定位准确、接线简单等优点,而且在发电机转子动态和静态条件下均可开展。目前,RSO在转子匝间绝缘诊断中的应用与研究较多。贾志东等[12]建立了转子的分布参数电路模型,通过仿真研究了激励信号和不同位置短路对匝间短路故障诊断精度的影响。张征平等[13]根据发电机转子发生匝间短路故障后,转子的异常振动与励磁电流之间的正相关关系,开发了一种匝间绝缘在线诊断方法。但是,目前RSO在工程应用中只能给出定性判断,DL/T 1525—2016《隐极同步发电机转子匝间短路故障诊断导则》给出的判断标准为“两极的响应出现明显差值,则判断转子绕组存在匝间短路”,对于转子匝间绝缘缺陷的严重程度,则主要依赖试验人员的经验做出判断。因此,研究定量评估转子绕组匝间绝缘短路故障的严重程度,以及如何区分匝间绝缘短路是属于高阻性短路、金属性短路、两匝短路还是多匝短路,对于指导试验人员做出更准确的判断具有重要意义。
本研究利用现场一台发电机转子处于膛外检修的时机,开展转子匝间短路模拟试验,测试得到不同短路匝数、不同短路电阻条件下的RSO两极响应波形和特征波形,提出电压偏差率、时间偏差率和故障严重程度因子3个特征参数,对测试结果进行详细分析,最后提出两种定量评估转子匝间绝缘缺陷的方法。
发电机转子主要由铁心、线圈、槽绝缘、匝间绝缘等组成。转子在加工过程中,在铁心上沿着轴向加工出一个一个的槽,线圈沿着大齿叠加,安放在这些槽中,如图1所示。一般来说,一个槽内有的安放5~8匝(火电机组),有的安放12~16匝(燃气轮机组)。转子的正、负两极通过极间连接线连接。
在转子绕组的正、负极两端,信号发生器同时(或者轮换)发出一个冲击脉冲信号(激励信号),沿绕组传播到阻抗突变点(短路点)时,会导致反射波和折射波的出现,两端获取的实际波形为激励信号与反射波(折射波)的叠加,因此绕组两端测得的响应波形不同,相减所得的曲线即为特征波形,如图2所示。
如果不存在短路,两端获取的波形即为初始的激励信号,体现在特征波形上应该为一条直线。如果存在匝间短路,短路造成的绕组阻抗不连续,将产生较大的反射波。只要短路点不在绕组的正中间,反射波到达转子两端的传播时间不同,则两端呈现不同的合成波形,二者不能完全重叠,在特征波形上将表现出波峰(谷)。
选取某电厂一台东方电机有限公司生产的660 MW发电机(基本参数如表1所示)进行转子匝间短路模拟试验。该发电机共有16个线圈(正、负极各8个),32个槽。RSO试验仪器采用哈尔滨物格电子有限公司生产的RD-1A型转子匝间短路RSO分析仪,试验接线如图3所示。
(1)将仪器的两条测试线分别与转子绕组的内滑环(负极)和外滑环(正极)连接,接地线与转子本体(即大轴)连接。
(2)启动转子匝间短路RSO分析仪,设置激励信号参数(锯齿波、频率为1 kHz、幅值为12 V、脉冲宽度为2%),调整输出阻抗,使得仪器内部的阻抗与转子自身的阻抗相同,以使转子绕组获取的功率最大。
(3)测试不同短路匝数时的方法:利用一根导体(电阻值为0.1 Ω)从转子通风孔将每个线圈的不同匝进行短接,2匝短路是将每个线圈的第2、3匝短接,3匝短路是将每个线圈的第2、3、4匝短接,4匝短路是将每个线圈的第2、3、4、5匝短接。
(4)测试不同短路电阻值时的方法:在导体中串入一个滑动变阻器,调节滑动变阻器至串入电路的阻值分别为0.1、5.0、10.0、20.0 Ω,短路位置为每个线圈的第2、3匝。
(5)选择波形输出方式为“两端同步激励”模式,即可获得不同条件下正、负两极的响应波形和特征波形。基于转子的完全对称性,本次试验只对负极的线圈进行模拟试验,并分别标记为1#~8#线圈。
为了便于准确定位转子绕组的匝间短路点,首先需要对信号从内滑环传播到外滑环的时间进行测试,即信号在整个转子绕组中的传播时间,试验结果如图4所示。从图4可以看出,激励信号在绕组中的传播时间为14.94 μs,10 μs处为波形起始位置。
为了研究不同的短路匝数对特征波形的影响,对不同位置的线圈分别进行2匝、3匝、4匝的金属性短路,得到不同短路匝数条件下的RSO特征波形,典型的特征波形如图5所示。需要指出的是,7#和8#线圈在不同短路条件下的特征波形基本一致,可能是转子绕组的绕制方式导致的,因此下文不再对8#线圈进行分析。
为了便于对特征波形进行更加全面细致的分析,提出两个特征参数:电压偏差率与时间偏差率,其定义如式(1)~(3)所示。

式(1)~(3)中:ΔU为电压偏差率;U为特征波形的幅值,单位为mV;Ua为响应波形的幅值,本次试验Ua为3 370 mV;Δt为时间偏差率;to为中心时间,指特征波形在幅值处对应的时间;T为激励信号在绕组中的传播时间,本次试验T为14.94 μs;tk是指波形宽度;tstd分别指特征波形的起始与终止时刻。UaUtotstd的具体含义如图2所示。
根据上述定义,可以从特征波形中提取的试验数据如表2所示。从表2可以看出,在同一个线圈中,随着短路匝数的增多,电压幅值增大,尤其是由2匝短路发展为3匝短路时,电压幅值和电压偏差率增大的幅度更为明显。比如,1#线圈由2匝短路发展为3匝短路时,电压偏差率从16.9%增大到29.9%,说明短路匝数对特征波形有明显影响。当短路匝数相同时,随着线圈号的增大,特征波形均呈规律性减小,这是因为随着传播距离的增加,激励信号出现了衰减。利用最小二乘法对不同短路匝数下特征波形电压幅值与中心时间进行拟合,拟合方程如式(4)所示,拟合结果如图6所示,拟合参数如表3所示。

式(4)中:α为拟合常数;τ为时间常数,且τ=L/R,表征特征波形衰减的快慢,反映转子匝间短路引起转子绕组电气参数(电阻R和电感L)的变化。
表3可以看出,ατ均随着短路匝数的增加而增大,说明随着短路匝数的增加,特征波形的电压幅值增大,信号在绕组的衰减速度加快。
为了进一步研究短路匝数对电压幅值的影响,采用最小二乘法对不同线圈短路时的电压幅值和短路匝数进行拟合,结果如图7所示,拟合方程如式(5)所示,拟合参数如表4所示。从拟合结果可以看出,电压幅值与短路匝数呈线性关系,即随着短路匝数的增加,电压幅值线性增大。但是1#~3#线圈的拟合优度较低,主要是因为2匝短路发展到3匝短路时,电压幅值出现了明显增大。

表2可以看出,随着线圈号的增大,特征波形的幅值逐渐减小,但是1#~6#线圈的波形宽度增大,这种变化在一定程度上可以反映故障的严重程度。因此,本研究提出一个新的表征参数,称为故障严重程度因子,其数学含义是指特征波形与零线所围成的面积,定义如式(6)所示。

不同线圈在不同短路条件下的故障严重程度因子如表5所示。
表5可以看出,同一个线圈,故障严重程度因子随着短路匝数的增加而增大;短路匝数相同时,故障严重程度因子随着线圈号的增大而增大,但是7#线圈的故障严重程度因子比较小,可能是因为信号在线圈末尾段出现严重衰减,且特征波形的终止时刻已经超过信号的传播时间,导致其与零线围成的面积较小。采用最小二乘法对不同短路匝数下的故障严重程度因子和短路位置(线圈号)进行拟合,结果如图8所示。从图8可以看出,两者基本呈线性正相关关系。
采用最小二乘法对不同线圈短路时的故障严重程度因子和短路匝数进行拟合,结果如图9所示。从图9可以看出,两者基本呈线性关系,说明短路严重程度因子可以在一定程度上反映短路的严重程度。
激励信号在转子绕组中的传播,可以看作是在分布式参数电路中传播,为了对转子绕组匝间短路位置进行定位,采用时间偏差率进行计算。但是为了简化计算,假设激励信号在绕组中是线性传播的,则短路位置的计算公式如式(7)所示,2匝短路时的短路位置计算结果如表6所示。

式(7)中:X为短路位置对应的线圈号,向上取整;S为转子绕组的线圈个数,本次试验所用的转子S=16。
表6可以看出,对于1#~6#线圈,本研究给出的计算方法可以准确对短路位置进行定位,但是对于7#线圈,定位会出现较大的偏差,可能是由于信号在绕组中的传输并不是严格的线性传输,在转子绕组的末尾段,误差产生累积效应。虽然在绕组末尾段定位出现较大偏差,但是对于工程应用,本研究提出的RSO定位方法还是具有一定的指导意义,能够帮助试验人员快速找到故障位置,并根据电压偏差率对转子匝间绝缘的严重程度进行准确评估。
为了区分转子绕组匝间绝缘的缺陷是属于金属性短路还是高阻性短路,研究了不同短路电阻值(0.1、5.0、10.0、20.0 Ω)对特征波形的影响,其典型特征波形如图10所示,试验结果如表7所示。从图10可以看出,同一位置发生短路时,特征波形的电压幅值随着短路电阻值的增大而减小。
为了进一步研究短路电阻值对电压幅值的影响,对不同线圈短路时的电压幅值和短路电阻值进行拟合,拟合结果如图11所示,拟合方程如式(8)所示,拟合参数见表8。从拟合结果可以看出,电压幅值与短路电阻值呈指数函数关系,即随着短路电阻值的增加,电压幅值呈指数函数减小。

利用最小二乘法对不同短路电阻值下的特征波形电压幅值与中心时间进行拟合,拟合方程如式(4)所示,拟合结果如图12所示,拟合参数如表9所示。从表9可以看出,时间常数τ随着短路电阻的增大而增大。
根据上述对不同短路匝数、不同短路电阻值下RSO试验结果的综合分析,为了定量评估转子匝间绝缘的严重程度,更好地指导现场对转子绕组匝间的绝缘状态进行评估,提出如下两种评估标准:
(1)评估标准1:对于1#~3#线圈,当ΔU≥15%时,可判断转子绕组匝间存在多匝金属性短路;当10%≤ΔU<15%时,可判断转子绕组匝间存在两匝金属性短路;当3%≤ΔU<10%,可判断转子绕组存在匝间绝缘缺陷。
对于4#~6#线圈,当ΔU≥9%时,可判断转子绕组匝间存在多匝金属性短路;当6%≤ΔU<9%时,可判断转子绕组匝间存在两匝金属性短路;当1%≤ΔU<6%,可判断转子绕组存在匝间绝缘缺陷。
对于7#号线圈,当ΔU≥4%时,可判断转子绕组匝间存在多匝金属性短路;当2%≤ΔU<4%时,可判断转子绕组匝间存在两匝金属性短路;当0.5%≤ΔU<2%,可判断转子绕组存在匝间绝缘缺陷。
(2)评估标准2:建议以短路电阻为10.0 Ω时,绘制正、负两条曲线作为判据线(如图13所示)。当特征波形不存在明显突起,可判断转子匝间绝缘良好;当特征波形有突起,但是电压幅值未超出这条判据线时,可判断转子匝间绝缘存在轻微的匝间绝缘缺陷;当特征波形有明显的突起,且电压幅值超出判据线时,可以认为转子绕组匝间存在较严重的匝间绝缘缺陷。
(1)RSO法可以用于定量评估转子绕组匝间绝缘的严重程度。首先根据时间偏差率实现故障位置的定位,再结合特征波形的电压幅值和电压偏差率,利用本文提出的定量评估标准判断转子绕组的故障类型是属于金属性短路还是高阻性短路,是属于两匝短路还是多匝短路。
(2)RSO特征波形的电压幅值与短路匝数呈线性正相关关系,但是1#~3#线圈在由2匝短路发展为3匝短路时,电压幅值和电压偏差率明显增大。故障严重程度因子与短路匝数呈线性正相关关系。
(3)RSO特征波形的电压幅值与短路电阻值呈指数函数关系,随着短路电阻的增大而减小。
(4)不同短路匝数、不同短路电阻条件下,RSO特征波形的电压幅值与中心时间均呈指数函数关系。
