In this paper, thermal ageing tests were conducted on the prepared silicone rubber-based flame-retardant transmission insulator samples at 210℃ for different times by high temperature accelerated ageing method, and their performance were tested by scanning electron microscope (SEM), Fourier infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and contact angle tester. The results show that with the extension of ageing time, the melamine cyanurate (MCA) flame retardant particles in the sample decompose continuously, a large number of pores are formed on the surface of sample, and the infrared intensity of amino and hydroxyl functional groups continues to decrease. The contact angles measured by different solutions show a downward trend, and the erosion of hydrophobicity by the salt solution and acid solution is more serious. The lifetime of samples under the water condition calculated by Hallberg-Peck model and the contact angle is 16.6 years, the lifetime of samples under acid rain conditions is 10.4 years, and the lifetime of samples under seawater condition is 10.2 years.

采用高温加速老化的方法,在210℃下对制备的硅橡胶基阻燃输电绝缘子样品进行不同时间的热老化试验,并使用扫描电镜(SEM)、傅里叶红外光谱仪(FTIR)、接触角测试仪对样品性能进行测量表征。结果表明:随着老化时间的延长,样品中含有的三聚氰胺氰尿酸盐(MCA)阻燃剂颗粒不断分解,在样品表面形成大量孔洞,氨基和羟基官能团的红外吸收峰强度不断减小;使用不同溶液测得的接触角都呈下降趋势,其中盐溶液与酸液对疏水性的侵蚀更加严重;利用Hallberg-Peck模型与接触角推算出水条件下硅橡胶绝缘子的寿命为16.6年,酸雨条件下硅橡胶绝缘子的寿命为10.4年,海水条件下硅橡胶绝缘子的寿命为10.2年。

采用高温加速老化的方法,在210℃下对制备的硅橡胶基阻燃输电绝缘子样品进行不同时间的热老化试验,并使用扫描电镜(SEM)、傅里叶红外光谱仪(FTIR)、接触角测试仪对样品性能进行测量表征。结果表明:随着老化时间的延长,样品中含有的三聚氰胺氰尿酸盐(MCA)阻燃剂颗粒不断分解,在样品表面形成大量孔洞,氨基和羟基官能团的红外吸收峰强度不断减小;使用不同溶液测得的接触角都呈下降趋势,其中盐溶液与酸液对疏水性的侵蚀更加严重;利用Hallberg-Peck模型与接触角推算出水条件下硅橡胶绝缘子的寿命为16.6年,酸雨条件下硅橡胶绝缘子的寿命为10.4年,海水条件下硅橡胶绝缘子的寿命为10.2年。

In this paper, thermal ageing tests were conducted on the prepared silicone rubber-based flame-retardant transmission insulator samples at 210℃ for different times by high temperature accelerated ageing method, and their performance were tested by scanning electron microscope (SEM), Fourier infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and contact angle tester. The results show that with the extension of ageing time, the melamine cyanurate (MCA) flame retardant particles in the sample decompose continuously, a large number of pores are formed on the surface of sample, and the infrared intensity of amino and hydroxyl functional groups continues to decrease. The contact angles measured by different solutions show a downward trend, and the erosion of hydrophobicity by the salt solution and acid solution is more serious. The lifetime of samples under the water condition calculated by Hallberg-Peck model and the contact angle is 16.6 years, the lifetime of samples under acid rain conditions is 10.4 years, and the lifetime of samples under seawater condition is 10.2 years.

绝缘子作为输电线路中重要的部件之一,使用量庞大,起到电气绝缘及路线支撑的作用,因此在输配电领域很受重视[1]。但是在加工、贮存和使用过程中,绝缘子材料受不同环境因素的影响,性能会发生不可逆的劣化,直至失去使用价值,这种现象称为“老化”。随着时间推移,绝缘子材料老化属于正常现象,由于绝缘子种类颇多且特性不同,使用条件存在差异,因而老化现象和特征也各不相同[2-3]
在大多数绝缘子中,硅橡胶基绝缘子由于质量轻、机械强度高、耐污能力强,发展前景和势头相当乐观。影响硅橡胶基绝缘子老化的外因有很多,热老化一直是硅橡胶基绝缘子老化及寿命评估研究的热点[4]。梁英等[5]初步探究了运行年限等因素与绝缘子FTIR谱图之间的联系,结果表明,随着运行年限的延长,基团吸收峰呈现降低的趋势。张志劲等[6]将高海拔覆冰环境下不同老化年限的复合绝缘子硅橡胶样品作为研究对象,研究了样品的物理特性、化学特性及电气特性,结果表明,随着老化年限的延长,样品表面开始逐渐出现裂纹、孔洞。当老化达到一定程度时,硅橡胶表面出现较大的滑坡,表面物理、化学及电气性能下降加快。由于室外运行老化是个漫长过程,因此,学者们一般通过人工升温加速老化试验来评定硅橡胶材料的老化性能以及使用寿命[7-9]。柳荣等[10]以热空气加速老化的试验方法研究了飞机用硅橡胶的耐老化性能及贮存寿命,结果表明,环境温度越高,耐老化性能越差,寿命迅速下降。温度低于40℃时,材料寿命大于50年,温度为60℃时,寿命下降到12年,温度为80℃时,寿命仅3.2年。丁孝均等[11]使用Arrhenius方程对硅橡胶在各加速老化温度下的老化速率与老化温度进行拟合,评估出硅橡胶密封圈的使用寿命为16.5年。虽然将加速老化应用于评估硅橡胶寿命的研究已经开展不少,但是在评估硅橡胶基阻燃输电绝缘子老化寿命的研究上还存有很大的空白。
为了探究硅橡胶基阻燃输电绝缘子的热老化特性以及使用寿命,本研究对硫化交联制备的阻燃硅橡胶样品在210℃下进行不同时间的热老化试验。通过SEM和FTIR对样品老化前后表面以及所含基团的变化进行分析,并通过接触角测试仪研究热老化对样品接触角的影响。随后采用Hallberg-Peck模型与接触角建立联系,结合加速因子和等效试验时间的计算结果对硅橡胶基阻燃输电绝缘子的使用寿命进行预测。
硅橡胶,110-2,南京东爵硅橡胶有限公司;三聚氰胺氰尿酸盐(MCA),纯度为99.5%,粒径≤5.0 μm,东莞市三威化工有限公司;二氧化硅(SiO2),粒径约为200 nm,赢创特种化学(上海)有限公司;硫化剂双24,青岛荣基新材料有限公司;飞纳扫描电子显微镜(SEM),Phenom Pro型,荷兰Phenom-world B.V.公司;傅里叶变换红外光谱仪,FTIR-850型,天津港东科技股份有限公司;热重分析仪,TG 209 F3型,德国耐驰公司;光学接触角测量仪,Theta Flex型,瑞典百欧林科技有限公司;高温老化试验箱,CREE-6009F型,东莞市科锐仪器科技有限公司。
称取硅橡胶100份、MCA阻燃剂20份、二氧化硅40份、硫化剂2份,在室温条件下放入双辊机中共混,然后在平板硫化机上设置温度为175℃,硫化时间为15 min。将硫化后的样品放入热老化箱,在210℃条件下进行老化,分别老化0、504、1 008、1 512、2 016 h后对样品进行性能测试。
SEM分析:将样品在液氮中脆断,真空下喷金后观察断面,加速电压为10 kV;FTIR分析:采用傅里叶红外变换光谱仪进行测试,反射法;接触角:按照GB/T 24622—2009《绝缘子表面润湿性测量导则》进行测试,通常情况下,在水滴转移后(60±10)s内进行测试;TGA分析:取约10 mg的样品置于铝坩埚中,在20 mL/min氮气氛围下测试,温度为室温~500℃,升温速率分别为5、20、15、20 ℃/min。
图1为不同老化时间样品的表面微观形貌,其中第一排是样品放大800倍的形貌图,可以看出,未经老化的样品表面相对光滑平整,阻燃剂MCA和补强剂SiO2均匀地分布在硅橡胶样品的表面,没有出现裂纹以及孔洞。老化504 h、1 008 h的样品,表面出现了少量由阻燃剂MCA分解后产生的细微孔洞,开始变得凹凸不平,继续老化表面出现的孔洞更多更大。老化1 512 h和2 016 h后,原样品表面含有的MCA颗粒已经基本上全部消失,液体可以轻易地通过孔洞进行渗透。
图1第二排样品是放大5 000倍后的形貌图,在这种高倍数下可以观察孔洞的形成、扩大过程,从而更好地研究硅橡胶材料的老化因素。从图中可以看出,未老化的样品表面并没有明显的孔洞,MCA以及SiO2等与硅橡胶基材相容性较好的填料均匀分散在样品的表面及内部。随着老化时间的延长,孔洞逐渐形成并不断增多,在老化时间为1 008 h时,部分MCA已经完全分解,所在位置出现了孔洞,这时候的孔洞还没有出现扩大的迹象。但是当老化时间达到1 512 h时,MCA颗粒分解形成的孔洞出现了向外扩大的现象,这一现象在老化2 016 h后更为明显,老化2 016 h后的样品表面已经观察不到MCA颗粒的存在,它们分解后留下的孔洞由于硅橡胶链段的断裂变得更大,使得原本相对光滑的表面变得凹凸不平,样品的外部结构已经被破坏,不能够维持原有的形貌,样品原有的性能也因此受到了破坏。
为了表征样品老化过程中的氧化反应以及老化后的物质,对不同老化阶段的样品进行了红外光谱测试,图2为不同老化时间下样品的红外光谱图。从图2(a)可以看出,硅橡胶具有3个主要吸收峰,分别位于1 260、1 080、764 cm-1。1 260 cm-1对应Si-C键的伸缩振动,1 080 cm-1对应Si-O键的反对称伸缩振动,SiO2的硅氧键与之重合,而764 cm-1对应Si-O键的对称伸缩振动,而它的侧链所含有的甲基以及乙烯基分别对应谱图中的2 960 cm-1和880 cm-1[12]。SiO2除了硅氧键与硅橡胶的硅氧键重合外,其表面的硅羟基出现在950 cm-1处,强度很高。MCA的吸收峰以氨基和氰基为主,3 388 cm-1处对应NH2的对称伸缩振动,3 232 cm-1处对应氨基与亚氨基间(NH2/NH)的氢键振动,1 735 cm-1和1 662 cm-1分别对应NH2剪式和弯曲振动,1 778 cm-1对应氰酸根离子C=O的伸缩振动,1 536 cm-1和1 450 cm-1分别对应C=N和C-N的对称伸缩振动[13]
对比不同老化时间样品的红外光谱图可以发现,NH2以及氰基红外吸收峰强度随老化时间的延长而不断减弱。从图2(b)可以看出,未老化的样品有较为明显的红外吸收峰,而老化2 016 h后的样品吸收峰几乎消失不见,这种现象的出现主要是由于MCA在长期高温下会发生热氧化反应分解生成氨气、水等物质,SEM分析也证明了这一点。虽然红外光谱中Si-O键和Si-C键的峰值只出现了微弱的下降,但这不能说明硅橡胶的主链没有发生降解,因为样品中填充的SiO2吸收峰与硅橡胶主链吸收峰重合,因而没有显现出来,而硅橡胶侧链上乙烯基的红外吸收峰在老化时间超过1 008 h后消失,说明乙烯基在受热过程中也出现了被空气氧化的现象。
在2 960 cm-1处可以观察到甲基红外吸收强度没有发生变化,因此甲基的红外吸收峰面积可以用于MCA含量变化的归一性讨论,选取3 388 cm-1处NH2的主要吸收峰面积来计算R值,如式(1)所示。

通过不同老化时间样品的NH2与甲基的吸收峰面积的比值R可以拟合出MCA含量随老化时间变化的曲线,如图3所示。从图3可以看出,随着老化时间的延长,R值从69%降低至6%,变化非常明显。但是各时间段的R值衰减速度有所不同,老化时间为504 h内可以看见R值出现了很明显的变化,突降至22%,这主要是由样品表面的大部分MCA颗粒在老化初期受热分解生成氨气等物质导致。继续老化时表面剩余的MCA颗粒继续受热降解,R值的拟合曲线下降趋势不断减弱,在老化时间达到2 016 h时,R值降至6%,说明样品表面所含的MCA颗粒已经基本分解完全。
考虑到自然环境中绝缘子接触到最为频繁的液体为雨水,首先对样品进行了水接触角测试,保持水的液滴体积不变,测量出不同老化时间样品的接触角数据如图4(a)所示。从图4(a)可以看出,未老化样品的水接触角最高可达到93°,有良好的疏水性能。在老化时间达到1 512 h时,水接触角的数值降到81°,这是因为空气中的氧气会和自由基发生氧化反应,在硅橡胶的表面形成亲水的-OH等极性基团,并产生甲烷等气体,同时MCA分解产生的孔洞、SiO2表面的硅羟基持续吸水,使其憎水性能明显下降。但是水接触角只在老化1 512 h前出现大幅降低,当老化时间超过1 512 h后,其数值并没有继续大幅降低,这主要是由于绝缘子表面产生的自由基大部分已经与空气中的氧气发生了氧化反应,只剩余少量的自由基,同时由于外部自由基的阻挡,并没有太多的氧气进入,且MCA分解残留孔洞扩张速度较慢,因此从图中观察到下降趋势减缓。
为模拟腐蚀性液体,如酸雨对不同老化阶段绝缘子憎水性能的影响,制备了pH值为3的盐酸溶液对样品进行测试,结果如图4(b)所示。从图4(b)可以看出,未老化样品的接触角数值为90°,具有良好的疏水性。随着老化时间的延长,样品的憎水性呈线性下降的趋势,当老化时间达到1 008 h时,从90°降至81°,这是由之前提到的未交联小分子的移动、扩散,MCA颗粒开始快速降解产生孔洞以及酸性液体对表面结构产生腐蚀破坏造成的。但是继续老化至1 512 h时,曲线呈现明显的缓慢下降趋势,这与水接触角变化趋势不同,主要是因为酸性溶液中含有大量的H+,而在样品热氧老化过程中表面结构断裂形成大量的自由基,这些自由基在被氧气氧化的过程中也有部分与H+反应,因此略微减少了酸性液体的腐蚀性。当老化时间超过1 512 h后,接触角曲线又开始大幅下降,在老化时间为2 016 h时,接触角为67°,说明样品的表面结构已经受到了严重的氧化破坏,不能够有效地阻止酸性液体的覆盖和腐蚀,同时表面含有的MCA颗粒已经基本上完全降解并在表面留下大量的孔洞,使得样品的疏水性基本丧失。
氯化钠(NaCl)是研究绝缘子受污后憎水迁移性的主要污染物,在本次试验中也以NaCl溶液的形式对老化后样品的接触角变化进行了研究,结果如图4(c)所示。从图4(c)可以看出,未老化绝缘子试样的接触角为92°,与图4(a)4(b)中测得的数据相近,显示了硅橡胶绝缘子本身良好的憎水性,但是在进行了504 h的热老化后,样品的接触角快速下降到83°,这段时间中憎水性能的衰减说明NaCl中的金属离子以及氯离子可能对样品表面的结构有一定的破坏作用,并且更加容易进入MCA分解后产生的孔洞里,因此导致接触角下降。这种情况在继续老化后不再出现,接触角的下降速度出现了减缓,在老化时间为1 008 h时,接触角为82°,基本没有发生变化。这主要是样品内部的未交联分子以及硅油小分子等已扩散迁移至表面,在盐溶液滴落后向液滴内部转移,使得液滴的表面张力变大,从而抑制了盐溶液的浸润,维持了接触角的稳定。但是继续老化,接触角数值又出现快速下降的现象,这是因为此时样品表面的稳定结构已经很大程度受到了破坏,盐溶液的浸润和渗透不再受到阻碍,可以快速进入MCA颗粒降解后的孔洞中,使得样品的憎水性大幅下降,在老化2 016 h时接触角仅为69°。
不同升温速率下的TGA曲线如图5所示,获得样品分解5%时的温度分别为347.3、356.7、365.2、379.5℃。
根据测试数据,参照ASTM E1641-2007中的公式,如式(2)所示,以不同升温速率下测得失重5%时的温度作图,以lgβy变化参数,1/Tx变化参数,通过拟合曲线的斜率,求得绝缘子材料的活化能Ea[14],如图6所示。

式(2)中:Ea为反应活化能,kJ/mol;R为气体常数,8.314 J/(mol·K);b为常数,取0.457;β为升温速率,℃/min。
通过式(2)计算得Ea=138.3 kJ/mol=1.4 eV,拟合线性关系数为0.960 6。
通过阿伦尼乌斯公式、倒易法则以及Hallberg-Peck模型计算相应复合加速因子,如式(3)所示。利用该复杂加速因子,将加速条件下的失效表格或者曲线推算至正常使用环境(多老化因素)下的老化失效曲线,从而可以实现聚合物材料的老化失效规律的预测[15]

式(3)中:AF为加速因子;Ea为活化能,eV;T1为室温,25℃;T2为加速老化温度,210℃;k为Boltzmann常数,其值为8.617×10-5;RHt为210℃测试时的相对湿度,0.1%;RHu为室温下的相对湿度,35%。
通过研究湿度以及温度对样品的影响可以计算出加速因子AF=30.8。
在恒定温度加速应力作用下,绝缘子使用寿命加速试验是一种可靠性试验,在加速应力下受试产品的加速老化试验时间为T2,可依据式(4)的寿命折算公式计算等效试验时间T1

结合加速因子和等效试验时间的计算结果,在温度应力水平和规定的置信水平条件下,可得出在加速温度应力水平下的寿命加速试验时间,进而为绝缘子加速寿命试验实施方案的确定提供依据。
图7为不同溶液下样品接触角的线性拟合曲线。从图7(a)可以看出,当水接触角衰减至60°时,老化时间为4 738 h。因此绝缘子在常温下受水的影响而不丧失疏水性的使用寿命为30.8×4 738=145 930.4 h=16.6年。从图7(b)可以看出,当酸液接触角衰减至60°时,老化时间为2 960 h,因此绝缘子在常温下受酸雨的影响而不丧失疏水性的使用寿命为30.8×2 960=91 168 h=10.4年。从图7(c)可以看出,当盐溶液接触角衰减至60°时,老化时间为2 897 h,因此绝缘子在常温盐溶液的影响而不丧失疏水性的使用寿命为30.8×2 897=89 227.6 h=10.2年。
(1)未老化样品表面比较平整光滑,但在210℃热老化后,样品表面出现了大量的孔洞,表面粗糙度增大,并且热老化时间越长,孔洞半径越大,样品表面越粗糙。随着老化时间的不断延长,样品中的MCA颗粒不断分解,使得热空气不断向内部扩散,样品的热稳定性降低,更容易分解。同时样品表面的硅橡胶侧链也在热空气的氧化下不断分解,进一步加深了样品的老化程度。
(2)对不同热氧老化时间样品的疏水性能分析发现,随着热老化时间的延长,虽然不同溶液下测得样品的接触角都呈现下降的趋势,但是下降程度各不相同,样品水接触角的下降较为缓慢,而盐溶液以及酸液对样品疏水性的影响更为严重,接触角下降幅度更大。
(3)利用TGA计算出样品的活化能,并使用Hallberg-Peck模型计算出其复杂加速因子,最后通过接触角线性拟合外推出在210℃下样品丧失疏水性所需要的时间,并利用复杂加速因子折算出常温下样品丧失疏水性所需要的时间,即试样使用寿命。水条件、酸液条件和盐水条件下硅橡胶绝缘子的寿命分别为16.6年、10.4年和10.2年。
