Basin insulator is the core component of gas insulated metal transmission line (GIL) equipment. A large amount of charge will accumulate on the surface of insulators under long-term effect of unipolar DC electric field, resulting in the electric field distortion at the solid-gas interface, which leads to surface flashover of insulators easily and reduces the insulation performance of equipment. On the basis of relevant research results of DC insulators, this study restrains the accumulation of surface charges by reasonably controlling the surface field strength of insulators and increasing the resistivity of insulating materials. The structure design was optimized by simulation methods, and the insulator was prepared by casting, then dielectric tests and mechanical performance tests under AC and DC stress was carried out and passed, which verified the correctness of design.

盆式绝缘子是气体绝缘金属封闭输电线路(GIL)设备研制的核心元件,直流电压下绝缘子长期承受单极性直流电场作用,其表面会积聚大量电荷,导致固-气界面处局部电场畸变,极易引发绝缘子沿面闪络,降低设备的绝缘水平。本研究借鉴直流绝缘子的相关研究成果,通过合理控制绝缘子表面场强及提高绝缘材料的电阻率实现对表面电荷积聚的抑制,借助仿真手段指导结构优化设计,完成了绝缘子浇注并通过交直流应力下的介电试验及力学性能试验,验证了设计的正确性。

盆式绝缘子是气体绝缘金属封闭输电线路(GIL)设备研制的核心元件,直流电压下绝缘子长期承受单极性直流电场作用,其表面会积聚大量电荷,导致固-气界面处局部电场畸变,极易引发绝缘子沿面闪络,降低设备的绝缘水平。本研究借鉴直流绝缘子的相关研究成果,通过合理控制绝缘子表面场强及提高绝缘材料的电阻率实现对表面电荷积聚的抑制,借助仿真手段指导结构优化设计,完成了绝缘子浇注并通过交直流应力下的介电试验及力学性能试验,验证了设计的正确性。

Basin insulator is the core component of gas insulated metal transmission line (GIL) equipment. A large amount of charge will accumulate on the surface of insulators under long-term effect of unipolar DC electric field, resulting in the electric field distortion at the solid-gas interface, which leads to surface flashover of insulators easily and reduces the insulation performance of equipment. On the basis of relevant research results of DC insulators, this study restrains the accumulation of surface charges by reasonably controlling the surface field strength of insulators and increasing the resistivity of insulating materials. The structure design was optimized by simulation methods, and the insulator was prepared by casting, then dielectric tests and mechanical performance tests under AC and DC stress was carried out and passed, which verified the correctness of design.

在交流电压下,气体绝缘开关装置(GIS)中绝缘子的电场分布主要取决于绝缘介质的介电常数,呈电容性分布,其设计和制造具有成熟的商业研发经验。而在直流电压下,绝缘子中的电场呈电阻性分布,与绝缘介质的电导率有关[1],非常容易受湿度、温度、极性和加压时间等因素的影响。尤其是从容性电场向阻性电场的过渡过程中,电荷会在固体绝缘子和气体绝缘介质的交界面上不断积聚,导致固-气界面处局部电场畸变,易引发绝缘子沿面闪络,降低设备的绝缘水平。
直流盆式绝缘子作为直流GIL研制的核心元件,绝缘子电荷积聚机理及抑制措施一直是国内外研究的热点。从电荷输运方式来看,固-气界面电荷的积聚来自于3个途径:气体侧传导、固体侧传导以及固体表面传导[2]。A WINTER等[3]通过仿真发现,绝缘子表面电荷的分布取决于固体侧电流和气体侧电流的相对大小,而这两者都与固-气界面两侧的法向电场分量密切相关。越来越多的研究发现,在洁净且干燥的气体绝缘系统中,固体侧电导是绝缘子表面电荷的主要来源。B LUTZ等[4]在仿真模型中改变绝缘子的体积电阻率ρv,发现当ρv<5×1017 Ω·cm时,表面电荷积聚以绝缘子体传导为主;当ρv>5×1017 Ω·cm时,表面电荷主要通过气体侧传导积聚。工业中使用的氧化铝掺杂绝缘子的体积电阻率很难达到5×1017 Ω·cm,因此对于实际GIL中的绝缘子,固体侧电流在表面电荷积聚中起主导作用。
从固-气界面电荷积聚的3种途径出发,调控和抑制电荷积聚的方法主要有绝缘子结构优化、绝缘子表面涂覆和降低绝缘材料体积电导率。E VOLPOV[2]对直流电场下GIL 的电场分布和绝缘结构优化进行了系统的研究,并提出了电场优化的定量准则,若选取电场法向分量EN<1 kV/mm,切向分量ET<3.5 kV/mm,则在0.3~0.4 MPa的SF6中,环氧树脂绝缘子的表面电荷密度不会超过10~20 μC/m2,这一量级对电场的影响甚微。贾志杰等[5]基于上述准则进行了500 kV直流绝缘子的设计及仿真分析,但缺少试验验证。
MA G M等[6]对直流电场下,圆盘形、圆锥形、圆头锥形3种不同类型的绝缘子结构进行了研究,发现无论是初始的电容性电场还是稳态的电阻性电场,圆头锥形盆式绝缘子的法向电场和切向电场分布都最优,表面电荷积聚也最少,但其结果只针对绝缘子凹面电场,并未对凸面电场进行分析。20世纪80年代开始,国内外研究人员对直流GIL的类似产品,即GIS进行了研究,研究重点为金属导电微粒对SF6气体放电的影响,绝缘子表面电荷积聚的机理及其对绝缘子闪络的影响等问题。
近年来,直流输电突破了技术瓶颈,发展迅速。直流输电工程的大规模建设给直流GIL(GIS)的应用提供了较大的空间。日本首先研制出±500 kV GIS并于2000年7月投入运行。目前,ABB、Siemens也相继开发了±320 kV、±500 kV直流GIS。本研究借鉴国内外已有研究成果,针对绝缘子结构进行优化并开发高体积电阻率的直流环氧配方浇注绝缘子;设计绝缘子试验方案并进行相关试验。
目前,表面电荷积聚途径共有3种:气体侧传导、绝缘材料体传导和面传导,如图1所示。电荷来源包含了气体侧的自然电离、微放电、局部放电,以及绝缘材料内部的材料非均匀性、电极与电介质不连续性、两种电介质间的不连续性等。两侧的电荷积聚在气-固绝缘表面,并形成了表面传导,因此绝缘子表面状态对表面电荷积聚的影响也十分重要,表面电荷积聚的数学模型如式(1)所示[7]

式(1)中:ρ′为气固界面积聚的电荷密度;JIn为固体绝缘侧法向电流密度;JGn为气体绝缘侧法向电流密度;σvs为表面层电导率;Eτ为切向电场强度。
电导率是直接影响表面电荷积聚的重要因素,无论是气体还是绝缘材料的电导率,其影响因素众多,微观机制复杂。目前表面电荷积聚的仿真研究主要围绕电导率物理模型的优化,能更加全面和客观地反映实际情况。
在传统的仿真研究中,通常假定气体电导率为恒定常数,即电流密度与电场强度之间存在线性关系,但这一关系只有在电场强度很低时才能得到满足(如标准空气:温度为20℃、相对湿度为6%、大气压力为1 atm、空气密度为1.29 g/L,电场强度低于 1 V/m)。由于高压GIL中工作场强可达到1 kV/mm以上,气体中电流密度一般处于饱和状态,甚至在局部场强畸变处会出现局部放电,导致小范围内气体电流密度激增,如图2所示。
为了更加准确地描述气体侧传导,研究者引入气体离子传输方程计算气体中的电导率分布。如式(2)~(4)所示。

式(2)~(4)中:nIP是离子产生率;Kr是复合系数;n+n-是正、负离子数;b+b-是正、负离子的迁移率;D+D-是正、负离子的扩散系数;E是电场强度;VG是气体流速,这里不作考虑;σG是气体电导率;e是电子电量。
固体绝缘材料内部产生的空间电荷主要来自电介质的不均匀性,如式(5)所示。

式(5)中:ρ是空间电荷密度;εr是材料相对介电常数;ε0是自由空间介电常数;σ是体积电导率。电荷会在电导率梯度不为零,同时此梯度和当地电场矢量不垂直的地方积聚。在高压直流设备的长期运行过程中,电场和温度的不均匀分布导致的体积电导率非均匀性是一种常见的现象,电导率的准确获得往往采用经验公式,如式(6)所示。

式(6)中:σ0为初始电导率;α为场强系数;β为温度系数。αβ值需要对绝缘材料进行大量的试验才能确定。在现有的电荷积聚仿真模型中并没有考虑温度和场强的影响。
精确电导率值的确定是进行直流下阻性电场分布计算的前提。根据以上理论公式,气体区域内的电导率由离子传输方程确定;固体区域仅考虑恒定电导率,不考虑固体电介质的缺陷或裂纹导致的非均匀电导率的情况。
为了获取不同形状绝缘子的直流场分布情况,为直流绝缘子的形状选取提供依据,借鉴绝缘子设计经验,建立了典型的4种绝缘子结构,如图3所示,并进行了直流场仿真。其中,结构1为常规的交流盆式绝缘子,结构2为增加了轴向伞裙的盘形绝缘子,结构3为盘式绝缘子,结构4为圆头锥形(小锥度)绝缘子。这4种模型中涉及到的边界条件参数如表1所示。
在COMSOL Multiphysics多物理场仿真软件中,建立了4种绝缘子仿真模型,如图4所示,仿真模型简化为二维轴对称模型,其中结构2和结构3绝缘子两侧气室的结构完全相同,因此对其进一步进行了简化。
气体传输方程的求解对于网格划分的质量要求较高,特别是离子浓度变化梯度较大的区域,如气-固界面,网格尺寸要求较小,该模型中网格尺寸设置为0.1~1.0 mm,其他区域设置最大为5.0 mm,且网格从0.1~1.0 mm向5.0 mm逐渐过渡,单元增长率较小。4种模型网格划分后示意图如图5所示。
对前述4种结构的绝缘子进行直流电场仿真,绝缘子的沿面电荷密度分布如图6所示,电场结果如表2所示。
图6表2可以看出,结构2绝缘子的沿面直流电场最大值是16.7 kV/mm,出现在伞裙处,且伞裙处出现大量电荷积聚,其幅值为150 μC/m2
与结构1相比,结构2绝缘子多了平行于电极的伞裙结构和垂直于电极的平面结构,将这两处的结构特点与结构1的电场进行对比,如图7所示,可以看出平行于电极的伞裙结构大幅提高了直流电场;垂直于电极的平面结构降低了直流电场。
对结构1、3、4进行对比,分析3种绝缘结构的特点,可以发现结构1具有交流盆子的特点,其盆子倾斜角度较大;结构3采用盘式结构,凹凸面形状完全一致;结构4采用较小锥度盆子结构。交、直流电场下结构1、3、4绝缘子的沿面电场分布及直流场下沿面电荷密度对比如图8所示。从图8可以看出,交流电场下结构1和结构3均具有较好的电场分布;直流电场下,结构3的电场模值最小;表面电荷积聚方面,盆子倾斜角度越大,电荷积聚越严重,结构3的表面电荷积聚最小。
绝缘子不仅起到绝缘作用,同时还起到隔绝气室、支持高压导体等作用,在装配及运行过程中应能承受各种气体压力、电动力等机械应力。为了兼顾交流电场及力学性能要求,本研究选取圆弧形、小倾角的绝缘子作为直流绝缘子方案,如图9所示。
绝缘子整体设置外法兰、接地屏蔽、中心导体,中心导体在满足通流性能前提下进行外轮廓优化,接地屏蔽采用环形结构,环上设接地触头实现与外法兰的可靠连接。
最大持续运行直流电压210 kV时直流电场仿真结果如图10所示,直流电场仿真结果如表3所示。
表3可以看出,电荷密度仿真结果最大值为18.90 μC/m2,满足电场优化准则中控制环氧树脂绝缘子的表面电荷密度不超过20 μC/m2的要求。切向分量均满足小于阈值3.5 kV/mm要求,但无论是凸面还是凹面的最高法向场强都比文献[2]中的阈值1.0 kV/mm略高,理论上还存在优化空间。
现有交流环氧树脂浇注配方体积电阻率均在1×1016 Ω·cm以下,且直流电气强度较低,不能满足直流盆式绝缘子要求。因此针对于体积电阻率相对较大且具备高直流电气强度,电、热、力学等综合性能优越的直流环氧树脂浇注绝缘子,需要进行配方设计和研发。
根据直流绝缘子用环氧树脂性能要求,从减少游离小分子、匀化反应速率、优化填料海岛物理分布的角度,制定了环氧浇注配方中环氧树脂、固化剂、氧化铝填料组分的设计原则。
环氧树脂:小分子组分少,可反应程度高,固化后活性羟基少,固化物致密度高。固化剂:性质温和,反应速率舒缓,和环氧树脂各链段固化速率和反应活性差异小。固化物各向异性小。氧化铝:粒度分布合理,分散性好,颗粒接近球形,棱角少。
该设计原则基本可保证材料体积电阻率和电气强度提升的同时,力学性能、耐热性不下降,且热稳定性也较好。
通过分子模拟软件,设计出满足直流绝缘子性能需求,且可实际呈现的高分子材料化学结构具有一定难度。
为此,本研究从分子设计、组分设计和配方设计进行了全面的考虑。分子设计方面,采用高斯软件进行不同类型环氧树脂低聚体、酸酐固化剂分子设计和化学性质模拟,获得了不同的环氧树脂、固化剂分子构型。然后,基于互穿配合原则,设计了包含两种多官能度环氧树脂、两种脂环族环氧树脂的树脂组分;通过配伍优化和表面处理,获得了高纯多配伍电工氧化铝填料组分。最后,采用高斯软件进行固化物电、热、力学性能的模拟,并进行配方设计和优化,获得了具备双交联固化网络结构的直流环氧浇注材料配方,如图11所示。
开发出的直流环氧浇注配方,体积电阻率达到0.8×1017~1.7×1017 Ω·cm,电气强度达到33~38 kV/mm,拉伸强度达到81~87 MPa,指标达到国内领先水平。
目前,高压直流GIS的长期带电测试没有标准化。国际上仅有ABB、Siemens、日本研制出直流GIS并进行了试验验证[8-10],欧盟资助的项目“Progress on Meshed HVDC Offshore transmission Networks”致力于海上风电联网技术研究,提出了直流GIS长期带电检测的试验建议[11],国内目前尚无直流GIS研制先例。
本研究借鉴GB 7674—2008《额定电压72.5 kV及以上气体绝缘金属封闭开关设备》中绝缘子试验项目,同时根据GB/T 22674—2008《直流系统用套管》,补充了绝缘子直流电气应力下的试验,主要的试验项目如表4所示。
将5个绝缘子放入冷热循环试验箱内,在-40℃→105℃共进行10个循环,每个循环24 h加严考核,如图12所示。试验后盆子无裂纹、损伤,试验通过。
对热性能试验后的绝缘子进行压力试验,如图13所示。盆式绝缘子凹面承受水压,凸面为正常大气压力,以平均不超过400 kPa/min的速率升高压力至1.6 MPa,持续5 min,然后继续升压至破坏,破坏水压应高于2.4 MPa。
试验结果:1.6 MPa保压5 min,无异常;持续升压至2.6 MPa保压5 min,无异常;继续升压至3.0 MPa盆子破裂,水压试验通过。
对两个绝缘子进行隔板的抗弯试验,如图14所示。在中心导体端部施加与中心导体垂直的力矩5 kN·m,持续 30 min,试验后着色探伤,浇注体无裂缝,试验通过。
绝缘试验样机包含5个绝缘子,SF6气体压力为0.4 MPa,套管端施加电压。在此状态下进行交直流电气应力下的绝缘试验。
(1)工频电压试验:从工频电压升压至315 kV持续1 min,然后降压至252 kV持续5 min,测量局放<3 pC,试验通过。
(2)操作冲击电压试验:施加峰值为450 kV的250/2 500 μs标准操作波,正、负极性各15次,试验通过。
(3)雷电冲击电压试验:施加峰值为1 050 kV的1.2/50 μs标准雷电波,正、负极性各15次,试验通过。
(4)直流电压耐受试验及局放测量:SF6气压0.4 MPa下,+400 kV/2 h,试验最后30 min,≥2 000 pC局放脉动个数≤10个;-400 kV/2 h,试验最后30 min,≥2 000 pC局放脉动个数≤10个。结果表明,局放量大于2 000 pC的脉冲个数为零,局放脉冲量均在150 pC以下,试验通过。
(5)极性反转试验及局放测量:-262.5 kV(90 min)→+262.5 kV(90 min)→-262.5 kV(45 min)→电压降至零;任一30 min(除去极性反转时间)连续时间间隔内,大于2 000 pC局放脉冲个数应小于10个。结果表明,-262.5 kV(90 min)局放量大于300 pC脉冲数为3,+262.5 kV(90 min)局放量大于300 pC的脉冲数为1,-262.5 kV(45 min)局放量大于300 pC的脉冲数为0,局放情况良好。
开发了一种直流GIL用圆弧形、小锥度盆式绝缘子,并通过了力学性能、热性能和绝缘性能验证,得到如下结论:
(1)对比交流盆式绝缘子、盘式绝缘子及圆头锥形绝缘子等绝缘子直流电场发现,优化绝缘子形状,减小绝缘子锥度可以减小表面电荷积聚;兼顾力学性能要求,采用圆弧形小锥度绝缘子是直流GIS绝缘子的优选方案。
(2)开发出的直流环氧浇注配方,体积电阻率达到(0.8~1.7)×1017 Ω·cm,电气强度33~38 kV/mm,拉伸强度81~87 MPa,适用于直流绝缘子的生产。
(3)直流介电试验及仿真结果验证了“环氧树脂绝缘子的表面电荷密度不超过10~20 μC/m2,这一量级对电场的影响甚微”可以作为直流绝缘子表面电荷控制准则,指导直流绝缘子优化设计。
