The thermal conductivity of insulating varnish could be improved by adding inorganic oxide thermal conductive material into the epoxy modified unsaturated polyester resin. The effect of particle size and surface modification of fillers on the sedimentation of insulating varnish and effect of different filler content on the thermal conductivity and viscosity of insulating varnish were studied. A high thermal conductive and solvent-free insulating varnish was prepared, and its performance was characterized. The results show that the surface modification of filler could reduce its sedimentation rate. When the filler content is 40%, the viscosity of insulating varnish is 72 s, the thermal conductivity reaches 0.46 W/(m·K), and the insulating varnish exhibit no sedimentation at 40℃ after 6 days, which indicates that it has practical application value.

在环氧改性不饱和聚酯树脂中添加无机氧化物导热材料可提高绝缘漆的导热性能。研究了填料粒径、表面改性对绝缘漆沉降的影响,以及不同填料含量对绝缘漆导热系数、黏度的影响,在此研究基础上制备了高导热无溶剂绝缘漆并对其性能进行了表征。结果表明:对填料进行表面改性可以降低其沉降速度;当填料含量为40%时,绝缘漆的黏度为72 s,导热系数达到0.46 W/(m·K),40℃下静置6天无沉降,具有很好的实际应用价值。

在环氧改性不饱和聚酯树脂中添加无机氧化物导热材料可提高绝缘漆的导热性能。研究了填料粒径、表面改性对绝缘漆沉降的影响,以及不同填料含量对绝缘漆导热系数、黏度的影响,在此研究基础上制备了高导热无溶剂绝缘漆并对其性能进行了表征。结果表明:对填料进行表面改性可以降低其沉降速度;当填料含量为40%时,绝缘漆的黏度为72 s,导热系数达到0.46 W/(m·K),40℃下静置6天无沉降,具有很好的实际应用价值。

The thermal conductivity of insulating varnish could be improved by adding inorganic oxide thermal conductive material into the epoxy modified unsaturated polyester resin. The effect of particle size and surface modification of fillers on the sedimentation of insulating varnish and effect of different filler content on the thermal conductivity and viscosity of insulating varnish were studied. A high thermal conductive and solvent-free insulating varnish was prepared, and its performance was characterized. The results show that the surface modification of filler could reduce its sedimentation rate. When the filler content is 40%, the viscosity of insulating varnish is 72 s, the thermal conductivity reaches 0.46 W/(m·K), and the insulating varnish exhibit no sedimentation at 40℃ after 6 days, which indicates that it has practical application value.

随着微电子集成技术和高密度组装技术的高速发展,电子和电器产品朝着轻、薄、短、小的方向发展,功率密度越来越高,导致电子和电气设备的发热量和温升剧增,超过了散热组件的负载能力。电气设备和电子元器件等通过浸渍绝缘漆固化后形成一个致密的整体,并在表面形成连续的平整漆膜[1],但绝缘漆的导热系数通常只有0.2 W/(m·K),不能满足电子元器件快速散热的要求[2-3]。因此,必须开发一款性能稳定的高导热无溶剂绝缘漆,以保障电子和电气设备的可靠运行[4-6]
目前提高有机聚合物导热系数的方法主要分为本征导热[7]和填充导热[8-9]两种途径。本征导热是通过改善聚合物分子链段的有序规整度来提高导热系数,其主要依靠分子内的大π键通过电子导热机制实现。这类材料在具备导热性的同时也具备导电性[7],达不到绝缘性能的要求,且这类聚合物黏度大、流动性差,不适合应用于绝缘漆领域。填充导热则是通过在基体树脂中加入导热填料来制备复合材料,其导热性能主要取决于填料特性及基体和填料间的协同作用。当填料达到一定用量时,填料之间可通过相互搭接形成“导热网链”,热量可以沿着导热通路快速导出[8]。填充导热具有成本低、工艺简单、适用性广等诸多优势,已成为最主要的导热改性方式。但是填充导热对于绝缘漆而言,存在填充量低、黏度高、易沉降、导热系数难以大幅提高等问题[9],限制了其应用范围。
本研究通过对填料粒径筛选、表面改性、含量筛选等方法,研究填料的沉降性能及其对绝缘漆导热系数、黏度的影响,优选出最佳填料含量的绝缘漆并进行性能测试,以期制备得到满足使用工艺要求的高导热绝缘漆。
BF-662环氧改性不饱和聚酯树脂,工业品,自制;对苯二酚、异辛酸钴、异辛酸锌、过氧化苯甲酰叔丁酯,分析纯,上海麦克林生化科技有限公司;苯乙烯、硅烷偶联剂KH570,纯度为98%,北京伊诺凯科技有限公司;硅微粉(SiO2),填料纯度>99.8%,上海阿拉丁生化科技股份有限公司。
3#蔡恩杯、温度计、JSF-750型分散多用机(上海普舜机电科技有限公司)、BT-9300S型激光粒径分布仪(丹东百特仪器有限公司)、QS86型耐压设备(上海杨高电器有限公司)、ZC36高阻计(上海第六电表厂)、TC3000E型导热系数测试仪(西安夏溪电子科技有限公司)、恒温烘箱。
导热填料主要有氮化物、氧化物、碳化物、混杂填料[10]。氮化物、碳化物的电导率性能好,但价格过于昂贵,不适合用于制造绝缘漆。氧化物主要包括二氧化硅(SiO2)、氧化镁(MgO)、氧化铝(Al2O3)等,SiO2不仅具有较好的导热性能,成本也相对低廉,故本研究选择硅微粉(SiO2)作为导热填料。
将SiO2填料真空干燥2 h。称取一定量干燥粉体填料,按比例加入KH570偶联剂以及适量的溶剂、去离子水,搅拌后超声分散1 h。然后放入恒温水浴加热至100℃使溶剂和去离子水蒸发,最后放入120~150℃烘箱中烘焙5 h。
称取200 g绝缘漆,分别添加相同质量的填料,在2 500 r/min下高速分散1 h至细度≤15 μm。然后放入真空器皿内,将绝缘漆进行抽真空脱泡。将脱泡好的绝缘漆在40℃恒温条件下放置10天,观察绝缘漆的沉降。
外观、黏度和表面干燥性能分别按照GB/T 1981.2—2009《电气绝缘用漆 第2部分:实验方法》中的第5.1.1条、第5.4条和第6.4.1条方法进行测试;凝胶时间:按照GB/T 15022.2—2007《电气绝缘用树脂基活性复合物 第2部分:试验方法》中第4.14.1条进行测试;粘结强度:按照GB/T 1981.2—2009中第6.2.3条方法B进行测试;电气强度:按照GB/T 1408.1—2006《绝缘材料电气强度试验方法 第1部分:工频下试验》进行测试;体积电阻率:按照GB/T 1410—2006《材料体积电阻率和表面电阻率试验方法》进行测试;储存稳定性:取180 g配制好的绝缘漆,加入固化剂,搅拌均匀后倒入玻璃瓶内,密闭并放入40℃的烘箱中,记录凝胶的时间;导热系数:按照ASTM C518-2010《用热流计法测定稳态热传递特征的试验方法》进行测试。
分别添加500、1 000、1 500、2 000目的填料后,绝缘漆的沉降效果明显不同。图1为未改性填料颗粒直径对绝缘漆沉降高度的影响。从图1可以看出,4种不同目数的填料沉降都较严重,虽然填料目数越大,在体系中的稳定性也越好,但因为无机粒子和有机树脂基体界面相容性很差,使得粒子在基体树脂中很容易团聚,难以有效分散。其中,当填料的目数大于1 500目时,体系黏度随着填料加入量的上升而急剧增大,导致绝缘漆的渗透能力大幅降低;当填料粒径为500目时,填料的高度低于液面高度的一半,体系沉降严重,绝缘漆不符合工艺要求,因此选择目数为1 000和1 500的填料进行改性实验。
选择1 000目和1 500目的填料,经偶联剂KH570改性处理后对绝缘漆沉降高度的影响如图2所示。从图2可以看出,添加改性填料后的绝缘漆沉降速度显著降低,这主要是由于偶联剂KH570一端的Si-OR可以与无机填料表面的亲水羟基反应,使得另一端的憎水基团接枝到无机填料表面,大幅增强了填料表面的憎水性。说明使用偶联剂KH570对填料改性可以提高填料与有机树脂基体的界面相容性,从而大幅降低填料的沉降速度。此外,添加1 500目填料的绝缘漆沉降情况优于添加1 000目填料的绝缘漆。
在绝缘漆中分别添加10%、20%、30%、40%和50%处理过的SiO2填料,在2 500 r/min下高速分散1 h并真空脱泡,测试绝缘漆的导热系数,结果如图3所示。从图3可以看出,未添加填料时,由于高分子链的巨大分子量和无规则缠结,导致其规整度不高,难以形成规则的导热网链,绝缘漆的导热系数只有0.180 W/(m·K)。随着填料含量的不断增加,填料颗粒形成了较好的导热网链,缩短了热量的传播路径,使得导热系数增大[2,11]。当导热无机填料含量为50%时,导热系数达到了0.598 W/(m·K)。
同时,使用3#蔡恩杯在(23±2)℃对不同填料含量的绝缘漆进行黏度测试,结果如图4所示。
图4可以看出,随着填料含量的增加,绝缘漆的黏度随之增大,且增大趋势不断加快。当填料含量为50%时,虽然绝缘漆的导热系数很高,但体系黏度达到了120 s,超过了工艺所要求的50~100 s。当填料含量为40%时,绝缘漆的黏度为72 s,具有很好的浸漆工艺性,同时绝缘漆的导热系数达到了0.460 W/(m·K),符合工艺要求,最终选定40%作为最佳填料含量。
根据上述结论,通过在环氧改性不饱和聚酯中添加40%改性SiO2填料制备了高导热无溶剂绝缘漆,其性能测试结果如表1所示。从表1可以看出,绝缘漆的各项性能按标准测试,均达到要求。
通过在环氧改性的不饱和聚酯树脂中添加导热无机填料可提高绝缘漆的导热系数。填料颗粒直径越大,绝缘漆的沉降速度越慢,使用偶联剂KH570对填料进行表面改性可显著降低填料的沉淀速度。随着填料含量的增加,绝缘漆的导热性能、黏度均随之上升。在保证较低的黏度(50~100 s)、良好的浸漆工艺性条件下,添加40%表面改性填料的绝缘漆,其导热系数可达到0.460 W/(m·K),同时其表面干燥性能、凝胶时间、厚层固化、电气强度、体积电阻率、绝缘漆稳定性等性能均满足指标要求,说明该高导热无溶剂绝缘漆具有较好的实际应用价值。
