Partial discharge inception voltage (PDIV) detection is an essential test method for evaluating the insulation performance of random wound inverter-fed motor stators. As an important parameter of pulse-width modulation voltage, the effects of pulse width on the PDIV of interturn insulation and interphase insulation in random wound inverter-fed motors are noteworthy. In this paper, the PDIV distribution laws of interturn insulation and interphase insulation in motor under different pulse widths were studied in the frequency of 50 Hz, rise time of 75 ns, and pulse widths within of 0.5-20 μs. The results show that when unipolar pulse square waves are input into random wound inverter-fed motors for PDIV testing, the overall trend of PDIV decreases as the input pulse width increases. Due to the combined effect of overvoltage from the rising and falling edges of short pulses, a turning point occurs in PDIV at a pulse width of 4 μs. It is necessary to consider the effects of pulse width and overvoltage and select appropriate pulse widths to obtain conservative values of stator insulation PDIV when conducting the PDIV test of interturn insulation and interphase insulation in random wound inverter-fed motor under unipolar pulse.

局部放电起始电压(PDIV)检测是评估散绕变频电机定子绝缘性能的重要测试方法。作为脉宽调制电压的重要参数,脉冲宽度对散绕变频电机匝间绝缘和相间绝缘PDIV的影响值得关注。本文在频率为50 Hz、上升时间为75 ns、0.5~20 μs脉冲宽度范围内,研究了不同脉冲宽度下电机匝间绝缘与相间绝缘PDIV的分布规律。结果表明:单极性脉冲方波输入散绕变频电机进行PDIV测试时,随着输入脉冲宽度增大,PDIV总体呈下降趋势;由于受到短脉冲上升沿与下降沿处过电压的联合作用,PDIV在脉冲宽度为4 μs时出现拐点;在单极性脉冲下进行散绕变频电机的匝间与相间PDIV测试时,需要同时考虑脉冲宽度和过电压的影响,取适当宽度的脉冲以得到定子绝缘PDIV的保守值。

局部放电起始电压(PDIV)检测是评估散绕变频电机定子绝缘性能的重要测试方法。作为脉宽调制电压的重要参数,脉冲宽度对散绕变频电机匝间绝缘和相间绝缘PDIV的影响值得关注。本文在频率为50 Hz、上升时间为75 ns、0.5~20 μs脉冲宽度范围内,研究了不同脉冲宽度下电机匝间绝缘与相间绝缘PDIV的分布规律。结果表明:单极性脉冲方波输入散绕变频电机进行PDIV测试时,随着输入脉冲宽度增大,PDIV总体呈下降趋势;由于受到短脉冲上升沿与下降沿处过电压的联合作用,PDIV在脉冲宽度为4 μs时出现拐点;在单极性脉冲下进行散绕变频电机的匝间与相间PDIV测试时,需要同时考虑脉冲宽度和过电压的影响,取适当宽度的脉冲以得到定子绝缘PDIV的保守值。

Partial discharge inception voltage (PDIV) detection is an essential test method for evaluating the insulation performance of random wound inverter-fed motor stators. As an important parameter of pulse-width modulation voltage, the effects of pulse width on the PDIV of interturn insulation and interphase insulation in random wound inverter-fed motors are noteworthy. In this paper, the PDIV distribution laws of interturn insulation and interphase insulation in motor under different pulse widths were studied in the frequency of 50 Hz, rise time of 75 ns, and pulse widths within of 0.5-20 μs. The results show that when unipolar pulse square waves are input into random wound inverter-fed motors for PDIV testing, the overall trend of PDIV decreases as the input pulse width increases. Due to the combined effect of overvoltage from the rising and falling edges of short pulses, a turning point occurs in PDIV at a pulse width of 4 μs. It is necessary to consider the effects of pulse width and overvoltage and select appropriate pulse widths to obtain conservative values of stator insulation PDIV when conducting the PDIV test of interturn insulation and interphase insulation in random wound inverter-fed motor under unipolar pulse.

变频电机是新能源汽车电驱系统的关键部件,其绝缘可靠性直接决定新能源汽车的系统安全。相较于扁线电机绕组,散绕线圈制造成本低,有益于嵌线后的端部整形,在400 V新能源汽车驱动系统中被广泛使用[1]。电机工作在电控产生的脉宽调制(pulse-width modulation,PWM)电压下时,其绝缘系统承受高频、快速变化的重复脉冲电应力,绕组内部电压分布不均易导致场强集中,在高温、低压等极端环境的影响下,绝缘缺陷处易出现局部放电[2-3],放电过程会破坏变频散绕电机有机成分的分子链,加速绝缘老化。
为此,国际电工技术委员会(international electrotechnical commission,IEC)出台了相关标准,指出在电机投入运行前应使用重复脉冲电压对其进行绝缘评估。对于I型电机,实际运行电压应始终小于其局部放电起始电压(PDIV),以保证其在全寿命周期内不出现局部放电[4]。因此,有必要充分掌握电机在重复脉冲电压下的放电规律,从而保证电机PDIV的精确测量。
已有研究报道了环境温度、上升时间、脉冲极性及电机外壳接地情况等因素对散绕变频电机定子绝缘PDIV的影响[2,5],但对脉冲宽度的影响暂未见系统研究。如果不考虑此因素对PDIV的影响,可能得到不准确的PDIV测定结果,从而增加放电概率并加速绝缘老化。此外,双绞线和漆包线等简单模型呈容性特征,和实际的电机定子绕组在阻抗和绝缘性能上具有较大区别,无法准确模拟实际工作时电机各部位所受电应力[6-8]
针对以上问题,本文对单极性脉冲下PDIV随脉冲宽度的变化情况进行研究,探究单极性脉冲宽度对PDIV的影响,以期为实际电机工程测试和相关标准的优化提供参考。
重复脉冲发生装置由信号发生器、高压开关模块、高压直流电源及高压电阻等组成,基于直流斩波电路,通过推挽式开关输出重复脉冲电压至电机定子试样,通过调节信号发生器中的输入信号参数改变脉冲宽度。
研究表明,在高频逆变过程中,电力电子开关高速开断会产生严重的高频干扰,给重复脉冲电压下的PDIV测试带来较大困难[9-10]。本研究使用的是高增益特高频传感器(如图1所示),该传感器为阿基米德平面螺旋天线,通过添加微带巴伦实现阻抗匹配,同时在辐射层上覆盖高介电常数介质,优化0.5~2.0 GHz处传感器性能,以有效抑制高频干扰,保证重复脉冲电压下PDIV测试的灵敏度和精确度[9]
根据已有研究可知,重复脉冲发生装置的电力电子开断干扰主要集中在0.5 GHz之下,故采用截止频率为0.5 GHz的高通滤波硬件过滤掉0~0.5 GHz的信号,以减少放电监测中的干扰信号[10]
重复脉冲电压下PDIV测试平台如图2所示,该平台通过高压直流电源和斩波电路逆变输出脉冲电压,并输入电机定子绕组,以模拟脉冲电压在绕组中产生的电压分布不均现象[11]。固定特高频天线距离待测电机定子试样端部约10 cm,其输出端接至带宽为2.5 GHz、采样率为20 GS/s的waverunner 8254高速数字示波器的C2通道,并采用带宽为150 MHz、分压比为1 000∶1的PINTECH P6018A高压探头提取重复脉冲发生器的输出信号,接至示波器的C1通道作为同步信号[12]
本研究使用型号为Y90S-4的三相异步电动机,其额定功率为1.1 kW,额定电压为380 V,采用的绝缘体系为漆包绝缘,绝缘等级为B级。拆除电机转子等与本研究无关的结构,保留完整的电机定子结构作为试样进行实验。
控制环境温度为20℃、相对湿度为50%,控制脉冲电压输入波形频率为50 Hz,上升时间固定为75 ns,采用重复脉冲电压分别对试样电机定子的匝间、相间绝缘进行PDIV测试,取0.5、1、2、4、10、20 μs的脉冲宽度作为测试参数。为防止电压快速升高导致电机绕组提前放电,以20 V/s的速度缓慢升高电压,在电机绕组出现第1次局部放电时,停止升压并记录此时示波器脉冲信号的电压峰-峰值,即为对应绝缘层的PDIV值。
对电机定子输入高压脉冲信号进行PDIV测试时,为减小局部放电的偶然性对实验结果的影响,每个脉冲宽度下测试并记录5组数据,并研究测试两个同型号散绕电机定子不同相绝缘PDIV随脉冲宽度变化的数据,以得出普遍性规律。本文选取具有代表性的数据进行说明。
在重复脉冲电压下匝间绝缘PDIV的测试接线示意图如图3所示。图3中电机定子中性点打开,可以避免施加在相间绝缘及主绝缘上的电压产生放电。电机单相绕组一端接高压脉冲,另一端接地。同时使机壳与其他相处于悬浮状态,以避免电机主绝缘过早放电干扰实验结果。
在重复脉冲电压下相间绝缘PDIV的测试接线如图4所示。图4中电机定子三相的中性点相接,可以模拟电机运行时定子相间绝缘所受的电应力。电机单相绕组接高压脉冲,另外两相接地,并使机壳与其他相处于悬浮状态[12]
测试匝间绝缘时,对单相输入宽度为20 μs和 1 μs的脉冲方波,持续缓慢升高电压直至出现放电现象,记录脉冲方波与放电图像,并对放电信号做频谱分析,结果如图5所示。
图5可以看出,当输入宽度为20 μs的脉冲方波时,放电现象集中分布在脉冲的上升沿和下降沿处;当输入宽度为1 μs的脉冲方波时,放电现象主要集中在上升沿处,在下降沿处未观测到放电现象。
采用相同方法测试相间绝缘得到图6的结果。
图6可以看出,当输入宽度为20 μs的脉冲方波时相间绝缘的放电信号滞后于上升沿与下降沿分布。当输入宽度为1 μs的脉冲方波时放电信号分布主要集中在上升沿处,在下降沿处未观测到放电现象。
图5图6的放电频谱可以看出,试样电机定子匝间绝缘和相间绝缘放电频域能量变化具有相似规律,放电能量频率主要集中在0.5~1.3 GHz,且随着脉冲宽度的增加,1 GHz以上高频能量分布有所增加。因此,对试样电机进行PDIV测试时有必要充分考虑其在0.5~1.3 GHz的集中分布特性,优化设计传感器以得到较高的信噪比。
定子绝缘一相输入脉冲信号后,匝间绝缘第1次发生放电时,分别取C1通道输入同步信号的上升沿处跳跃电压Vup与峰-峰值Vpp作为PDIV(如图7所示),并绘制其分布图如图8所示。从图8可以看出,当脉冲宽度变化时,VupVpp的变化规律相似,故本研究取Vpp作为待测PDIV值。
按照1.2所述流程及1.3所述匝间绝缘测试接线,对电机的其中一相接入脉冲进行PDIV测试,对测试结果绘制箱线图如图9所示。从图9可以看出,散绕变频电机的匝间绝缘PDIV总体上随着脉冲宽度增大而降低。当脉冲宽度为4 μs时,匝间绝缘的PDIV值达到本研究测试条件下的最小值。
对相间绝缘测试结果绘制箱线图如图10所示。从图10可以看出,散绕变频电机的相间绝缘PDIV总体上随着脉冲宽度增大而降低。当脉冲宽度为 4 μs时,相间绝缘PDIV值达到本研究测试条件下的最小值。相较于匝间绝缘的测试结果,相间绝缘PDIV前半段下降更快。因此,在实际测试时应充分考虑此因素的影响,取适当宽度脉冲进行测试,以测得试样绝缘PDIV的保守值。
匝间绝缘和相间绝缘的PDIV分布在整体上均随着脉冲宽度增大而降低。局部放电的发生需要满足电压超过起始放电电压和形成引发放电的初始电子两个条件[13],当脉冲宽度较短时,在超过起始放电电压的高电平持续时间内初始电子还未产生,则不会产生局部放电现象;此时需要继续升高电压,增加碰撞电离和初始电子产生的概率以产生放电,从而得到较高的PDIV[14-15]
匝间绝缘和相间绝缘的PDIV分布均在脉冲宽度为4 μs处出现拐点,且在跳跃电压与脉冲峰-峰值的PDIV分布中呈现出同样的结果。推测出现拐点的原因是:逆变器斩波形成的电压并非理想脉冲,在输入上升时间和下降时间较短的单极性脉冲时,其上升沿和下降沿均会产生过电压[16]。当输入短脉冲时,过电压沉积在绝缘表面的空间电荷对合成电场具有较强的影响作用[13],电机定子绝缘受上升、下降沿电压极性翻转的联合作用产生局部放电;当输入长脉冲时,过电压沉积在绝缘表面的空间电荷有充分的耗散时间,单次放电可以视为只受到上升沿或下降沿电压极性翻转单独作用,需要更高的峰-峰值(或跳跃电压)来引发局部放电[14-15,17]
在频率为50 Hz、上升时间为75 ns、宽度为0.5~20 μs脉冲下,对低频散绕电机匝间绝缘和相间绝缘的PDIV进行测试,得到以下结论:
(1)将低频单极性脉冲方波输入散绕变频电机进行PDIV测试时,随着输入脉冲宽度增加,PDIV总体呈下降趋势。
(2)由于受到短脉冲上升沿与下降沿过电压的联合作用,PDIV在4 μs脉冲宽度时出现拐点。
(3)在单极性脉冲下进行散绕变频电机的匝间与相间PDIV测定时,需要同时考虑脉冲宽度和过电压的影响,取适当宽度脉冲以得到定子绝缘PDIV的保守值。
