The application of conventional polyimide in the insulation structure of rail transit traction motors is prone to corona breakdown failure, which seriously affects the reliability and safety of the motor's long-term operation. In this paper, three corona-resistant polyimide materials were prepared by using 4,4′-diaminodiphenyl ether (ODA) as the diamine, pyromellitic dianhydride (PMDA) as the dianhydride, and nano-alumina surface treated with different silane coupling agents as the inorganic filler. The impact of various coupling agents on their surface morphology, mechanical properties, corona-resistant lifetime, and electrical breakdown performance were investigated. The results show that the surface treatment with silane coupling agents can improve the dispersibility of alumina in the polyimide matrix, reduce the agglomeration of nano-alumina, and enhance the corona-resistant properties of the polyimide material, while its excellent mechanical properties are maintained. Among them, the dispersion stability of nano-alumina surface treated with bis-amino silane coupling agent is the best, and the prepared corona-resistant polyimide material also has the best surface morphology and comprehensive performance. The corona-resistant time is 25 min and 120 min, respectively under 3 kV and 2 kV, the tensile strength reaches 167 MPa, and the elongation at break is 29.5%.

普通聚酰亚胺应用于轨道交通牵引电机绝缘结构中,容易引发电晕击穿失效,严重影响电机长期运行的可靠性和安全性。本文以4,4′-二氨基二苯醚(ODA)为二胺,均苯四甲酸二酐(PMDA)为二酐,以不同硅烷偶联剂表面处理的纳米氧化铝为无机填料制备了3种耐电晕聚酰亚胺材料。探讨了不同偶联剂对耐电晕聚酰亚胺的表面形貌、力学性能、耐电晕寿命、电击穿性能的影响。结果表明:硅烷偶联剂表面处理使得氧化铝在聚酰亚胺基体中的分散性得到改善,降低了纳米氧化铝的团聚程度,提高了聚酰亚胺材料的耐电晕特性,同时保持了其优异的力学性能。其中采用双氨基的硅烷偶联剂表面处理后的纳米氧化铝在DMAc中的分散稳定性最佳,所制备的耐电晕聚酰亚胺材料表面形貌及综合性能也为最佳,在试验电压为3 kV和2 kV下的耐电晕时间分别为25 min和120 min,拉伸强度达167 MPa,断裂伸长率为29.5%。

普通聚酰亚胺应用于轨道交通牵引电机绝缘结构中,容易引发电晕击穿失效,严重影响电机长期运行的可靠性和安全性。本文以4,4′-二氨基二苯醚(ODA)为二胺,均苯四甲酸二酐(PMDA)为二酐,以不同硅烷偶联剂表面处理的纳米氧化铝为无机填料制备了3种耐电晕聚酰亚胺材料。探讨了不同偶联剂对耐电晕聚酰亚胺的表面形貌、力学性能、耐电晕寿命、电击穿性能的影响。结果表明:硅烷偶联剂表面处理使得氧化铝在聚酰亚胺基体中的分散性得到改善,降低了纳米氧化铝的团聚程度,提高了聚酰亚胺材料的耐电晕特性,同时保持了其优异的力学性能。其中采用双氨基的硅烷偶联剂表面处理后的纳米氧化铝在DMAc中的分散稳定性最佳,所制备的耐电晕聚酰亚胺材料表面形貌及综合性能也为最佳,在试验电压为3 kV和2 kV下的耐电晕时间分别为25 min和120 min,拉伸强度达167 MPa,断裂伸长率为29.5%。

The application of conventional polyimide in the insulation structure of rail transit traction motors is prone to corona breakdown failure, which seriously affects the reliability and safety of the motor's long-term operation. In this paper, three corona-resistant polyimide materials were prepared by using 4,4′-diaminodiphenyl ether (ODA) as the diamine, pyromellitic dianhydride (PMDA) as the dianhydride, and nano-alumina surface treated with different silane coupling agents as the inorganic filler. The impact of various coupling agents on their surface morphology, mechanical properties, corona-resistant lifetime, and electrical breakdown performance were investigated. The results show that the surface treatment with silane coupling agents can improve the dispersibility of alumina in the polyimide matrix, reduce the agglomeration of nano-alumina, and enhance the corona-resistant properties of the polyimide material, while its excellent mechanical properties are maintained. Among them, the dispersion stability of nano-alumina surface treated with bis-amino silane coupling agent is the best, and the prepared corona-resistant polyimide material also has the best surface morphology and comprehensive performance. The corona-resistant time is 25 min and 120 min, respectively under 3 kV and 2 kV, the tensile strength reaches 167 MPa, and the elongation at break is 29.5%.

轨道交通牵引机车正朝着重载化、高速化和大功率化发展,使得牵引电机需具有更高的功率系数,并在实现电机的轻量化、小型化的同时尽可能地提高其功率。因此,电机绝缘结构系统的安全可靠性尤为重要,不管是其主要绝缘还是次要绝缘材料,两者的高电气强度、高耐热性和高导热性能等一直是轨道交通牵引电机绝缘技术的重点研究课题。牵引电机一般是在极其复杂的工况下持续运行,施加在其线圈绕组上的电压幅值大、频率高且上升时间快,在极其紧凑的绕组结构内部所产生的热量无法快速散发而聚集,导致温度骤升,在复杂和繁多的物理场耦合作用下,电机的绝缘薄弱点——匝间绝缘处很容易诱发电晕放电,进而很容易加速绝缘材料的老化并极易引发材料的电晕击穿而失效,给铁路机车的长期稳定安全运行埋下了隐患。综上所述,提升轨道交通牵引电机绝缘材料的性能,特别是其耐电晕性能显得更为重要[1-3]
聚酰亚胺(PI)是指分子结构主链中含有酰亚胺环(-CO-NH-CO-)的高分子聚合物,具有优异的力学性能、电性能、耐高低温性能、耐化学性能,在轨道交通牵引电机、风力发电机组、高压变压器等大功率设备的制造中是极为关键的绝缘材料之一。聚酰亚胺材料的耐电晕性能可大幅提高牵引电机匝间绝缘的耐电晕能力,进而提升高速列车长期运行的安全可靠性。美国DuPont公司在20世纪90年代开发的Kapton@CR和日本Kaneka公司在20世纪初开发的Apical@CR,是目前在轨道交通牵引电机绝缘系统中应用最多、市场占有率最高的商品化耐电晕聚酰亚胺材料。时至今日,我国能够实现高性能耐电晕聚酰亚胺材料生产的企业依旧较少,且产品性能与国际先进水平仍有不小的差距,如何保持聚酰亚胺材料的优异综合性能的同时,更大限度地提升其耐电晕性能是轨道交通高分子绝缘材料领域的重要研究方向[4-7]
为了改善聚酰亚胺材料的耐电晕性能,提高无机填料在聚酰亚胺基体中的分散性及有机-无机的界面相容性,本文选用γ晶相的纳米氧化铝作为耐电晕填料,通过采用不同硅烷偶联剂作为改性剂对氧化铝进行表面处理,制备一系列氧化铝杂化聚酰亚胺复合材料,考察改性剂对氧化铝在聚酰亚胺基体中分散性的影响及聚酰亚胺复合材料的综合性能。
二甲基乙酰胺(DMAc),特胺菱(南京)精细化工有限公司;二氨基二苯醚(4,4′-ODA),山东万达化工公司;均苯四甲酸二酐(1,2,4,5-PMDA),奥沙达化学(南京)有限公司;纳米氧化铝(γ晶相,粒径<50 nm),硅烷类偶联剂Z-1(γ-氨丙基三乙氧基硅烷)、Z-2(N-(β-氨乙基)-γ-氨丙基三甲氧基硅烷)、Z-3(甲基丙烯酸基丙基三甲氧基硅烷),阿拉丁公司。以上材料均为工业级。
分别将硅烷偶联剂、氧化铝与DMAc,经高速分散机分散均匀后装入高速砂磨机,在2 500~3 000 r/min的转速下研磨2 h,制得固含量为20%的未改性氧化铝悬浊液Z-0/Al2O3,在该氧化铝浆料基础上分别加入占固体质量分数为5%的偶联剂Z-1、Z-2、Z-3,制得悬浊液Z-1/Al2O3、Z-2/Al2O3和Z-3/Al2O3
在N2惰性氛围保护和0~5℃冰水浴冷却条件下,先将一定量的ODA加入DMAc溶剂中溶解,待其溶解完全后,分别加入上述4种氧化铝悬浊液,充分搅拌均匀;再加入一定量的PMDA,反应1 h后,逐步分批缓慢加入PMDA,并调节反应体系黏度至200~300 Pa·s,得到4种耐电晕PAA/Al2O3悬浊液。
将所制得的4种耐电晕PAA/Al2O3悬浊液进行抽真空消泡后,分别均匀涂布在干净的玻璃基板上,置于鼓风干燥箱内,经程序升温进行热亚胺化,制得4种氧化铝固体质量分数为15%、厚度为25 μm的耐电晕聚酰亚胺材料PI-0、PI-1、PI-2和PI-3,分别对应Z-0/Al2O3、Z-1/Al2O3、Z-2/Al2O3和Z-3/Al2O3制备的氧化铝杂化聚酰亚胺复合材料。亚胺化升温程序:由室温在10 min内升至100℃,保持30 min;由100℃在10 min内升至200℃,保持30 min;由200℃在15 min内升至350℃,保持10 min,然后停止加热,自然降至常温。
采用扫描电镜(Ultra 55型,德国蔡司公司)进行表面形貌表征;采用击穿电压测试系统(ZXIBV-2/10型,桂林彰信检测设备有限公司)按照GB/T 13542.2—2009进行电气强度测试;采用电子万能试验机(DNS-200型,中机试验SINOTEST公司)按照ASTM D882-18-2018进行力学性能测试;采用高频脉冲绝缘测试装置(JGM-3D型,上海旺徐电气有限公司)按照GB/T 24122—2009进行耐电晕时间测试。
将固体含量为20%的未改性的Z-0/Al2O3、Z-1/Al2O3、Z-2/Al2O3和Z-3/Al2O3 4种氧化铝DMAc悬浊液注入150 mL的量筒中,静置不同时间后观察悬浊液的体积。悬浊液在相同时间内沉降后的体积越大就越稳定,氧化铝在DMAc中的分散效果越好。
图1为计算所得的不同氧化铝悬浊液沉降后的体积随时间的变化。从图1可以看出,未改性的氧化铝Z-0在DMAc体系中更容易沉降,而表面改性可以明显改善氧化铝分散效果,其中Z-2改性后的氧化铝分散效果最佳,24 h内氧化铝浆料基本未出现沉降,在120 h后悬浊液体积仅下降8%左右。
图2(a)(d)分别为未经表面处理的氧化铝和3种不同硅烷偶联剂处理的氧化铝所制备的耐电晕聚酰亚胺材料PI-0、PI-1、PI-2、PI-3的表面扫描电镜图。从图2(a)中可以看出,未经过分散剂处理的PI-0中的氧化铝粒子表观尺寸较大且有大量明显的团聚现象;图2(b)中硅烷类偶联剂Z-1处理过的PI-1中的氧化铝粒子分散表观尺寸较大但相对较为均匀,没有明显较大的团聚体;图2(c)中硅烷类偶联剂Z-2处理过的PI-2中的氧化铝粒子尺寸较小,且无明显的有机-无机界面,结合效果最佳;图2(d)中硅烷类偶联剂Z-3处理过的PI-3中的氧化铝粒子尺寸较大且有少量的团聚现象。比较图2(a)(d)可以看出,用硅烷偶联剂表面处理纳米氧化铝可以在一定程度上改善氧化铝在聚酰亚胺基体中的分散性,降低氧化铝粒子的团聚程度,提高有机-无机界面结合性,其中Z-2处理过的氧化铝几乎无团聚粒子产生,分散效果最佳,Z-1其次,Z-3效果最不明显。从3种硅烷偶联剂的结构分析来看,Z-1具有单氨基官能团,Z-2具有双氨基官能团,Z-3不具有氨基官能团。Z-1和Z-2中的伯氨基可以与未亚胺化的聚酰胺酸或端基进行结合,而硅氧烷端通过DMAc中少量的水进行水解后与γ-Al2O3中的-OH形成氢键,在PI分子链上与γ-Al2O3形成连接,使得γ-Al2O3在PI中分散均匀。Z-2相比于Z-1还含有一个仲氨基,可以与PI中的酰亚胺键中的N形成氢键,结合更紧密,所以分散性更好。Z-3中没有氨基,并且丙烯与羰基形成共轭结构,电子在共轭体系中流动,对外吸引力减弱,O原子形成氢键的条件减弱,所以与PI的结合力减弱,导致γ-Al2O3在PI中出现团聚现象。
图3为不同耐电晕聚酰亚胺材料的力学性能,由图3可知,在相同的掺杂量下,未改性氧化铝掺杂的聚酰亚胺材料力学性能最低,硅烷偶联剂处理后的氧化铝所制备的耐电晕聚酰亚胺材料力学性能更好。这是因为在少量水的DMAc溶剂中硅烷偶联剂经水解后形成的Si-OH与Al2O3表面的-OH键进行分子间作用力的结合,且硅烷偶联剂的另一侧极性有机基团可以与聚酰亚胺分子链形成化学键,填补了部分界面缺陷,并提高了界面之间的结合力,从而提高拉伸强度和断裂伸长率[8-9]。其中,PI-2的力学性能相较于其他3种聚酰亚胺更高,拉伸强度达167 MPa,断裂伸长率为29.5%,分别是未改性氧化铝掺杂的聚酰亚胺PI-0拉伸强度(124 MPa)的1.34倍,断裂伸长率(17.9%)的1.65倍。
在155℃、脉冲频率为20 kHz的2 kV和3 kV脉冲方波电压下,测试聚酰亚胺材料的耐电晕时间,结果如图4所示。
图4可知,在相同的掺杂量下,未改性氧化铝掺杂的聚酰亚胺材料耐电晕性能最差,经表面改性的氧化铝掺杂所制备的聚酰亚胺材料耐电晕均有所提升,耐电晕时间由长至短的顺序为PI-2、PI-1、PI-3、PI-0。其中3 kV下的耐电晕时间从PI-0的8 min提升至PI-2的25 min,2 kV下的耐电晕时间从PI-0的30 min提升至PI-2的120 min,这主要是因为经过表面修饰后的氧化铝粒子表面羟基被聚合封闭,同时接枝了与基体亲和性高的有机官能团,更不容易产生团聚,均匀的分散性使其能更均匀化地捕获载流子、传递热量和形成屏蔽电荷效应,提升聚酰亚胺复合材料的耐电晕特性。
不同耐电晕聚酰亚胺材料的击穿强度如图5所示,由图5可以看出,分散性最好的PI-2的击穿强度最低,而分散性最差的未加硅烷偶联剂的PI-0击穿强度最高,这与耐电晕性能的趋势刚好相反。这可能是由于氧化铝与聚酰亚胺基体之间容易形成许多电流通道和界面陷阱,从而导致材料容易被击穿。纳米粒子的分散性越好,纳米粒子在有机聚合物中的间隔距离会越均匀,此时对电荷的导通作用越强,在濒临击穿的高电压作用下,更容易形成电流通路;而分散性差的纳米无机粒子会团聚形成较大的二次粒子,使得粒子之间的距离变大,导致击穿电压上升[10-11]。当纳米粒子在有机聚合物中的分散性越差时,粒子之间会产生严重的团聚,从而形成大量二次堆叠粒子,纳米粒子与纳米粒子之间的平均间距就会变大,有机相更容易发挥阻断电流的作用,从而使击穿电压升高。
(1)与未采用硅烷偶联剂氧化铝的相比,表面改性可降低氧化铝的团聚程度,在DMAc溶剂体系中具有更好的分散稳定性,与聚酰亚胺基体的有机-无机界面结合性更好,提升了聚酰亚胺材料的耐电晕性能及力学性能。
(2)氨基官能团可提高有机-无机的界面相容性,特别是含双氨基官能团的Z-2偶联剂对氧化铝与聚酰亚胺基体的结合改善效果最佳,拉伸强度达167 MPa,断裂伸长率为29.5%,是未改性氧化铝掺杂的聚酰亚胺PI-0拉伸强度的1.34倍,断裂伸长率的1.65倍。
(3)γ晶相纳米氧化铝的引入,可以提升聚酰亚胺材料的耐电晕性能,氧化铝分散效果越好,聚酰亚胺的耐电晕性能越好。3 kV下的耐电晕时间从PI-0的8 min 提升至PI-2的25 min,2 kV下的耐电晕时间从PI-0的30 min提升至PI-2的120 min。
