In order to compare the discharge characteristics difference of metal particles and bubbles in flowing transformer oil, the flowing oils containing impurities were conducted partial discharge (PD) and breakdown experiments on a simulating experiment discharge platform. The waveforms of discharge signals were compared, and the phase resolved partial discharge (PRPD) maps were established. The results show that there are significant differences between the discharge characteristics of two defects in flowing oil. The metal particle PD can excite ultra high frequency signals, while the bubble PD can only excite very high frequency signals. The metal particle PD covers all the power frequency cycle, and the bubble PD distributes in the power frequency negative half cycle (236°-305°) mainly. Compared with metal particles, the effect of bubbles on the breakdown voltage of transformer oil is more serious.

为了对比研究流动变压器油中金属微粒和气泡放电特性的差别,在模拟实验放电平台上对含杂质流动变压器油进行了局部放电(PD)和击穿实验,并对放电信号的波形进行对比分析,构建放电相位分析(PRPD)图谱。结果表明:流动变压器油中两种缺陷的放电特性有明显的差别,金属微粒PD可以激发特高频信号,而气泡PD仅能激发甚高频信号;金属微粒PD几乎遍布整个工频周期,气泡PD主要分布在工频负半周(236°~305°)。与金属微粒相比,气泡对变压器油击穿电压的影响更为严重。

为了对比研究流动变压器油中金属微粒和气泡放电特性的差别,在模拟实验放电平台上对含杂质流动变压器油进行了局部放电(PD)和击穿实验,并对放电信号的波形进行对比分析,构建放电相位分析(PRPD)图谱。结果表明:流动变压器油中两种缺陷的放电特性有明显的差别,金属微粒PD可以激发特高频信号,而气泡PD仅能激发甚高频信号;金属微粒PD几乎遍布整个工频周期,气泡PD主要分布在工频负半周(236°~305°)。与金属微粒相比,气泡对变压器油击穿电压的影响更为严重。

In order to compare the discharge characteristics difference of metal particles and bubbles in flowing transformer oil, the flowing oils containing impurities were conducted partial discharge (PD) and breakdown experiments on a simulating experiment discharge platform. The waveforms of discharge signals were compared, and the phase resolved partial discharge (PRPD) maps were established. The results show that there are significant differences between the discharge characteristics of two defects in flowing oil. The metal particle PD can excite ultra high frequency signals, while the bubble PD can only excite very high frequency signals. The metal particle PD covers all the power frequency cycle, and the bubble PD distributes in the power frequency negative half cycle (236°-305°) mainly. Compared with metal particles, the effect of bubbles on the breakdown voltage of transformer oil is more serious.

电力变压器作为电力系统中最重要和昂贵的设备之一,其安全可靠运行对于整个电力系统的可靠性具有重要影响。变压器油作为变压器内部的主要电介质,其绝缘性能直接影响着整个变压器的安全运行。变压器油是由烷烃、环烷烃和芳香烃组成的混合物,未精炼的变压器油内部含有较多杂质,采用高真空高精度滤油机可以滤除大于5 μm的杂质颗粒,但是在运行电压的作用下,小粒径杂质可能会聚合在一起,形成较大的杂质;变压器器身在制造和装配过程中,可能会有部分杂质颗粒沉积在器身和零部件表面,投入运行后这些杂质受变压器振动或油流冲洗而脱落混入变压器油中[1];另外,在变压器长期运行过程中,由于局部过热[2]、局部放电(PD)[3]、火花放电等故障导致绝缘纸老化[4-5]和变压器油分解,从而使油中杂质增多。其中危害性比较大的杂质主要包括金属微粒杂质和气泡,金属微粒具有导电性,对变压油的绝缘性能有较大的影响[6-7];当变压器油中存在气泡时,由于气泡的介电常数小于变压器油的介电常数,气泡中的电场高于变压器油中的电场,且气泡的电气强度远低于变压器油的电气强度,因此气泡中容易诱发PD[8],导致变压器油分解,进而产生更多的气泡,降低变压器油的绝缘性能。
为了研究杂质对变压器油绝缘性能的影响,国内外学者开展了大量的研究。M POMPILI等[9-10]研究表明变压器油中的PD首先发生在气泡或者低密度区,并提出气泡中发生PD是预击穿阶段的重要组成部分,通过观察发现当气泡以及其他颗粒接触或靠近极板表面时,PD幅值通常较大。LI J等[11]研究了准均匀电场下变压器油中直径为0.50、0.75、1.00 mm的自由球形导电粒子的PD特性,发现颗粒运动会经历从振荡到跳跃的过程,每个运动阶段中PD行为不同,表明变压器油中金属微粒的运动与PD相关。WANG Y等[12]仿真分析了交直流复合电压下变压器油中铜颗粒的运动轨迹,研究发现外施电压的直流分量通过改变金属微粒与极板的碰撞频次,从而影响PD频次。
以往的研究一般只是针对气泡和金属微粒单独开展研究,然而,由于不同学者试验条件、测量装置的差异,很难定量地比较这两种杂质放电特性的差异,不利于实际变压器油中PD类型的诊断,同时也难以深入研究含杂质变压器油的击穿机理。在运行变压器中,由于强迫油循环或温差产生热对流的存在,变压器油常常处于流动状态,因此研究流动状态下变压器油的放电特性,更加接近实际工程状况,具有很强的工程参考意义。本课题组前期搭建流动变压器油循环装置,研究了油流速度对含气泡和金属微粒变压器油PD特性的影响[13-14],发现静止状态与流动状态下的PD特性存在明显差异,这与文献[15]的研究结果一致。因此本研究相关实验均在流动变压器油中开展。
为了比较流动变压器油中气泡和金属微粒对变压器油绝缘性能的影响,本研究在模拟平台上分别开展含金属微粒和气泡变压器油的PD和击穿试验,并分别采用IEC 60270:2000推荐的RLC检测阻抗法、天线法和无感电阻法检测PD信号,比较两种绝缘缺陷单次放电信号的异同。同时采集一段时间内的放电信号,绘制放电相位分析(phase resolved partial discharge,PRPD)图谱,统计两种杂质的起始放电电压(partial discharge inception voltage,PDIV)和击穿电压,比较两种杂质对变压器油绝缘性能的影响。
为了开展流动状态下含金属微粒和气泡变压器油的放电实验,建立了如图1所示的流动变压器油模拟油道循环装置[16]。主油道由有机玻璃组成,其具有良好的绝缘性能,同时方便观察金属微粒和气泡的运动轨迹。采用直径为200 mm,厚度为10 mm,边缘光滑的平板电极建立均匀电场。油道上方有法兰盘,用以清理杂质。温度传感器、制冷片和加热管控制整个装置的温度,本研究中设定油温为60℃。油泵提供循环油流动力,设定流速为0.30 m/s。直径为3.0 mm的带孔筛网用以辅助控制气泡的尺寸。
为了全面深入了解金属微粒和气泡PD的异同,分别采用RLC检测阻抗法、天线法、无感电阻法检测放电信号。RLC检测阻抗法作为IEC 60270:2000推荐的检测方法,是目前国际上唯一的标准PD检测方法,尽管其测量频率低、频带窄、信息量少,但因其可以标定视在放电量的优势,是一种不可替代的测量方法。天线法由于其独特的抗干扰性能,逐渐应用到变压器的在线监测中,实验中天线分别使用实验室设计的微带天线和螺旋天线,能够满足不同频带放电信号的检测。无感电阻法也是测量PD脉冲的一种重要手段,与检测阻抗法相比,其测量波形不受检测阻抗RLC参数的影响,该方法对高频放电脉冲的响应性能更好,测量结果更加接近放电脉冲的实际波形。需要指出的是,由于测试回路电感的存在,测量得到的波形也会存在振荡,测量结果亦并非真实的放电波形。
PD测量系统如图2所示,其中Cx代表图1中的流动变压器油模拟油道循环装置,耦合电容Ck和检测阻抗Zm组成IEC 60270:2000推荐的脉冲电流测量回路,其中Zm为RLC型检测阻抗。无感电阻R与瞬态抑制二极管(TVS)并联后与试品串联,组成无感电阻检测回路,R=50 Ω,在试品意外击穿时,瞬态抑制二极管可以瞬间导通,保证示波器安全。天线、无感电阻、检测阻抗测量得到的信号以及电容分压器信号同步输入到DPO7104型示波器中。高速摄像机和光源组成杂质运动轨迹记录系统。
实验前,变压器油首先进行过滤处理,滤除直径大于5 μm的杂质,并进行脱气处理,利用标准油杯测试处理后变压器油的击穿电压为75.1 kV,达到工程使用标准。在实际变压器中,油中金属微粒的直径一般为5~200 μm[17],一般认为微粒尺寸越大,对变压器油绝缘性能的影响越严重,因此在金属微粒放电实验中,油道中放置浓度为1.0 g/L、直径为150 μm的铁微粒[18]。为降低金属微粒沉积对实验准确性的影响,实验周期设置为10 min,每次实验前将边缘沉淀的金属微粒收集至油道中央。开展气泡放电实验时,油道中注入150 mL干燥空气,启动油泵将大气团打散成为小气泡,通过3 mm定目筛网后,形成分布相对均匀的悬移气泡。
PDIV实验中,以1 kV/s的速率匀速升高电压,当示波器检测到放电量大于100 pC的PD时,记录外施电压为当前实验条件下的PDIV。由于金属微粒的运动和气泡的运动及变形均存在较大的随机性,因此取10次测试结果的平均值作为PDIV。实验发现,金属微粒和气泡的PDIV分别为8.4 kV和23.2 kV。很明显,当两种缺陷同时存在时,金属微粒更容易引起PD。鉴于两者PDIV差距较大,后续PD信号的采集均在各自1.2倍PDIV下进行,即金属微粒PD实验的外施电压为10.0 kV,气泡PD实验的外施电压为27.8 kV。
通过比较检测阻抗法采集到的PD信号,发现同一种缺陷产生的PD信号波形特征比较类似,放电的随机性主要体现在幅值和极性方面。图3图4分别为利用检测阻抗法测量得到的金属微粒PD信号和气泡PD信号。
通过比较图34可以发现,两种放电均具有一个上升沿(或下降沿)为40 ns左右的脉冲,随后伴随有约200~300 ns的振荡衰减。由于正负极性放电信号除极性不同外,波形特征没有明显的差别,这里仅列出了负极性放电信号。
图5图6分别为金属微粒PD和气泡PD所激发的电磁波信号及相应的快速傅里叶变换(FFT)分析。
比较图56可知,金属微粒PD可以激发出300 MHz~2.3 GHz的信号,属于特高频(ultra high frequency,UHF)频段,而气泡PD仅能激发出200 MHz以下的信号,属于甚高频(very high frequency,VHF)频段,说明金属微粒PD所激发电磁波信号的强度远高于气泡PD,因此采用UHF天线检测变压器内部PD时可能无法发现气泡放电。目前不同类型PD所激发出电磁波的频段并未完全清楚,根据文献[19]的研究结果,PD所激发电磁波信号的频段与放电脉冲的上升沿有关。因此,进一步采用50 Ω无感电阻测量了放电脉冲信号。
图7图8分别为无感电阻测量的金属微粒PD脉冲和气泡PD脉冲。从图78可以看出,两种类型缺陷放电产生的脉冲电流信号上升沿有明显差异,金属微粒PD脉冲电流的上升沿时间约为 3.1 ns,而气泡PD脉冲电流的上升沿时间约为 25.1 ns。脉冲电流越陡峭,激发出的电磁波信号频率越高,这就很好地解释了金属微粒PD可以激发出UHF信号,而气泡PD仅能激发VHF信号的原因。
为了进一步对比金属微粒PD和气泡PD相位分布的差异,统计了30 min内两种杂质的PD信号,绘制了如图9图10所示的PRPD图谱。从图910可以看出,金属微粒放电基本遍布整个工频周期,在90°和270°附近放电最强烈,正负半周的放电频率和幅值都比较类似,没有明显的区别。气泡PD的相位分布则相对较小,主要分布在60°~104°和236°~305°,负半周放电数量远高于正半周放电数量。
击穿电压是评估气泡和金属颗粒对变压器油绝缘性能影响的重要参数。击穿试验中的试验条件与PD试验条件相同,外施电压以2 kV/s的速率持续升高直至击穿,取10次击穿实验的平均值作为击穿电压。试验得到含金属颗粒和气泡变压器油的击穿电压分别为42.0 kV和31.6 kV。由此可见,气泡对变压器油击穿电压的影响更为严重。
金属微粒和气泡是两种完全不同的杂质,其在绝缘油中的PD特性差异与它们的运动特性和物性有关,本研究利用高速摄像机观测了两种杂质在变压器油中的运动轨迹。图11图12分别为金属微粒与气泡的运动轨迹。
图11可知,金属微粒随油流向右运动的同时,在竖直方向上不断跳跃与回落,这是由于金属微粒作为导体,与极板碰触后携带一定量的电荷,带电金属微粒在交变电场的作用下上下跳跃。气泡的运动与金属微粒表现出完全不同的运动轨迹,如图12所示,气泡在油道中随油流向右运动,并逐渐靠近上极板,最终沿上极板下表面水平运动出高场强区域,这是由于气泡是非导电体,在高场强区域的运动主要受油流曳力、浮力的作用,因此气泡上浮至极板附近后保持水平运动。
金属微粒和气泡的存在均会引起局部电场的畸变,由于两种杂质的物性不同,所导致的电场畸变特性也存在较大差异。根据文献[20]研究结果,可以估算出直径为150 μm的金属微粒与极板接触所携带的电荷为3.7 pC,进而可以利用有限元仿真软件计算金属微粒导致的电场畸变。图13给出了金属微粒在距离极板不同位置时导致的电场畸变。
图13可以看出,微粒距离金属极板越近,电场畸变越严重,当微粒与极板间的距离为2 μm时,最大电场强度达到0.7×108/m,已经达到文献[21]中给出的微放电场强阈值。由此可以推测当金属微粒与极板无限靠近时,两者之间的电场将超过绝缘油的击穿强度,因此当金属微粒碰撞极板时容易引起PD,结合图11给出的金属微粒运动轨迹,可以很好地解释金属微粒导致高频次PD的原因。
图14为油中气泡静电场畸变仿真结果。
图14可知,最大电场出现在气泡内部,约为油中电场强度的1.3倍,因此由气泡导致的PD实际是发生在气体中的击穿,与空气中的电晕放电类似,利用无感电阻法测量得到的放电波形也可以发现气泡PD脉冲上升沿陡峭程度远低于金属微粒,因此气泡PD不能激发出UHF信号,而金属微粒PD可以激发UHF信号。
值得关注的是,气泡PD主要集中在工频负半周,这可能与气泡的运动轨迹有关。图12表明气泡在油道中大部分时间处在上极板下表面附近,气泡与金属极板直接接触,在工频负半周中,金属极板表面发射的阴极电子可以提供气泡内部PD所需的初始电子,因而导致气泡PD主要集中在工频负半周。
与金属微粒相比,气泡对变压器油击穿电压的影响更严重,这可能与两种缺陷的物性及PD放电量差异有关。根据图9图10中统计的PD信号可以发现,气泡PD的放电量远高于金属微粒PD的放电量,气泡PD可能导致气泡发生膨胀和破裂,破裂形成的微气泡群容易导致整个油隙发生击穿,因此气泡对油隙击穿电压的影响更严重。
(1)与气泡PD相比,金属微粒的起始放电电压更低,放电频次更高。金属微粒PD遍布整个工频周期,主要集中在90°和270°附近,而气泡PD主要发生在工频负半周,负半周放电数量远高于正半周。
(2)金属微粒PD可以激发出UHF信号,而气泡PD仅能激发VHF信号,这与两者脉冲电流的上升时间有关。在采用UHF天线监测变压器内部PD时应特别注意其对气泡PD检测的有效性。
(3)气泡对变压器油击穿电压的影响比金属微粒的影响更为严重,在实际变压器中应严格控制,避免油中产生气泡。
