The corona accelerated ageing was conducted on silicone rubber, the insulation characteristic parameters of silicone rubber under different ageing time were measured, and the ageing mechanism of silicone rubber was deeply discussed according to the parameters. The results show that corona ageing causes serious damage to the surface structure of silicone rubber, and obvious holes and cracks are formed on its surface, resulting in serious pulverization. Corona ageing makes the long molecular chain of silicone rubber break into small molecular chain, reduces the flexibility of silicone rubber molecular chain, forms various defects, which leads to the decrease of the insulation performance of silicone rubber. With the increase of corona ageing time, the energy level centers of electron and hole traps decrease slowly at first and then decrease fast. Corona ageing leads to the gradual development of deep traps into shallow traps, reduces the binding effect on electrons, and finally leads to the occurrence of surface flashover of silicone rubber.

对硅橡胶进行电晕加速老化,测量不同老化时间下硅橡胶的绝缘特征参量,并通过特征参量分析深入研究了硅橡胶的老化机理。结果表明:电晕老化使得硅橡胶表面结构遭受严重的破坏,且在其表面形成了明显的孔洞和裂纹,并造成严重的粉化现象。电晕老化导致硅橡胶的分子长链断裂成小分子链,使得硅橡胶分子链柔顺度降低,形成各种缺陷并造成硅橡胶绝缘性能下降。电子和空穴陷阱能级中心随着电晕老化时间的增加呈现先缓慢下降后快速下降的变化趋势。且电晕老化导致深陷阱逐渐发展成浅陷阱,对电子的束缚作用减弱,最终造成硅橡胶沿面闪络的发生。

对硅橡胶进行电晕加速老化,测量不同老化时间下硅橡胶的绝缘特征参量,并通过特征参量分析深入研究了硅橡胶的老化机理。结果表明:电晕老化使得硅橡胶表面结构遭受严重的破坏,且在其表面形成了明显的孔洞和裂纹,并造成严重的粉化现象。电晕老化导致硅橡胶的分子长链断裂成小分子链,使得硅橡胶分子链柔顺度降低,形成各种缺陷并造成硅橡胶绝缘性能下降。电子和空穴陷阱能级中心随着电晕老化时间的增加呈现先缓慢下降后快速下降的变化趋势。且电晕老化导致深陷阱逐渐发展成浅陷阱,对电子的束缚作用减弱,最终造成硅橡胶沿面闪络的发生。

The corona accelerated ageing was conducted on silicone rubber, the insulation characteristic parameters of silicone rubber under different ageing time were measured, and the ageing mechanism of silicone rubber was deeply discussed according to the parameters. The results show that corona ageing causes serious damage to the surface structure of silicone rubber, and obvious holes and cracks are formed on its surface, resulting in serious pulverization. Corona ageing makes the long molecular chain of silicone rubber break into small molecular chain, reduces the flexibility of silicone rubber molecular chain, forms various defects, which leads to the decrease of the insulation performance of silicone rubber. With the increase of corona ageing time, the energy level centers of electron and hole traps decrease slowly at first and then decrease fast. Corona ageing leads to the gradual development of deep traps into shallow traps, reduces the binding effect on electrons, and finally leads to the occurrence of surface flashover of silicone rubber.

复合绝缘子作为电力系统中起到支撑和绝缘作用的主要设备,其重要性不言而喻[1-5]。硅橡胶材料因其良好的耐候性、憎水性和绝缘性能而被广泛应用于高压设备绝缘,目前应用的多数复合绝缘子伞裙主要采用硅橡胶材料。在实际工况中,复合绝缘子硅橡胶材料在挂网运行过程中长期遭受复杂的电场环境作用,同时受到紫外照射、环境污染、污秽积聚以及气候变化等因素影响,导致绝缘子性能老化,严重情况下造成沿面闪络甚至界面击穿[6-10],严重危害电网的安全稳定运行。因此,准确掌握绝缘子的绝缘状态对于保障绝缘子绝缘可靠性以及高压设备绝缘安全具有重要意义,国内外研究者围绕复合绝缘子绝缘老化问题开展了大量研究工作,并取得了众多研究成果。
王青录[11]研究了在自然老化环境下电场对两种绝缘子的影响,发现自然老化导致了绝缘子复合材料上表面层发生形变和性能退化,通过红外光谱分析发现材料表面降解与甲基损失和硅氧烷链断裂有关。梁曦东等[12-14]研究了交、直流电晕对硅橡胶憎水性、表面电阻率以及拉伸强度的影响,其中交流电晕作用使得材料的静态接触角由100°减小到约40°,直流电晕作用使得静态接触角减小了约30°,憎水性的改变主要由硅橡胶分子结构在电晕作用下发生变化所导致,由此可知电晕老化对硅橡胶憎水性影响显著。徐志钮等[15]通过试验和仿真模拟研究发现,高温环境下硅橡胶的憎水性丧失速度变慢,而憎水性恢复速度变快。R SUNDARAJAN等[16]对硅橡胶材料进行多因素加速老化试验,发现加速老化使得硅橡胶分子表面微观结构受到明显破坏。MA B等[17]发现交流电晕放电强度明显高于直流电晕,交流电晕下HTV硅橡胶的表面电阻率相较于直流电晕下明显下降。
现有成果主要集中于以憎水性、力学性能及介电性能表征硅橡胶老化程度,而深入分析硅橡胶老化机理的相关研究较少。本研究通过搭建电晕试验平台,观察电晕老化对复合绝缘子硅橡胶表面结构的影响,并通过SEM电镜扫描及傅里叶红外光谱扫描等微观表征方法,对硅橡胶老化机理和特性进行微观层面分析。希望能为硅橡胶绝缘性能改进及改性提供参考。
电晕老化采用文献[18]推荐的针-板电极老化平台,其中31根针电极构成正六边形结构,如图1所示。
电晕老化试验电路如图2所示。老化平台采用220 V工频电源,采用升压变压器将电压升高至工频25 kV后连接针电极,同时,为保护试验设备,在试验回路中串入保护电阻。
试样选择山东某电气公司提供的HTV硅橡胶,以甲基乙烯基硅橡胶为基体材料,通过添加交联剂和白炭黑加工制作而成。在试样测试之前,首先将硅橡胶裁剪成80 mm×80 mm×10 mm的尺寸,然后清除试样表面的污垢并反复擦拭,最后将试样进行烘干处理,并保证试样处于干燥环境。
将制备好的硅橡胶试样固定在电晕老化装置中,调节电压调节器输出25 kV工频电压,进行不同时间段的电晕老化,老化时间分别为20、50、75、100、150 h,试验温度为295 K,相对湿度为50%。
基于计算机技术,依据傅里叶红外光谱特征峰的位置和形状对测量对象的结构以及化学键变化进行判断分析,在各领域有着广泛的应用[19]。本研究采用Nicolet5700型智能傅里叶红外光谱仪对试样进行测量,该仪器测量光谱范围大、分辨率高、稳定性良好。
等温表面电位衰减法(isothermal surface potential decay,ISPD)可通过表征和分析硅橡胶材料的空间电荷和陷阱特性[20],进而有效判断出绝缘试样的电场畸变程度。本研究搭建的ISPD试验系统主要包含以下模块:高压直流电源模块、恒温箱、表面电位检测模块、充电模块以及数据采集模块等,如图3所示。
经过不同时长电晕老化前后,硅橡胶样片表面形态的对比如图4所示。
图4可以看出,未经过老化的样片表面光滑,颜色均匀且鲜艳。老化20 h后样片表面出现与电极排布方式相同的黑色同心斑点,且随老化时间增加,样片表面黑色斑点越发明显,颜色逐步加深。研究者现场观察得知,老化75~150 h的硅橡胶样片表面逐步产生灰白色粉末,且粉末颜色随老化时间的增加逐步由白色转变为灰色,最终转变为黑色,硅橡胶表面破坏较为严重。
为深入研究硅橡胶表面形态变化机理,采用SEM观察不同老化时间样片的表面形貌。将硅橡胶样片进一步裁剪为规格为20 mm×20 mm×10 mm的小颗粒,采用5 000倍放大倍数观察颗粒表面,其微观形态如图5所示。
图5(a)可以看出,未老化试样表面平整光滑,没有絮状物产生,表面出现的白色颗粒是填充的Al2O3颗粒,整体分布均匀。从图5(b)(c)可以看出,伴随老化时间的增加,硅橡胶表面产生絮状物甚至出现逐渐加长和加深的裂纹。从图5(e)(f)可以看出,不断加深的裂纹逐渐形成加深和增宽的孔洞,表明硅橡胶在电晕作用下破坏严重。纵观硅橡胶各老化阶段可知,硅橡胶表面在电晕持续作用下不断发生老化反应生成气体或其他形式的副产物,包括灰白色粉末,并不断脱离硅橡胶表面,从而形成不断加深的裂纹和孔洞。
图6为交流电晕老化后硅橡胶表面的红外光谱图,图7是部分波段的放大图,表1[21]是硅橡胶基团红外光谱吸收峰。
从图67可以看出,在3 700~3 200 cm-1波段,未老化时-OH基团吸收峰相对较弱,随着老化进行,-OH基团吸收峰逐渐增强,表明电晕老化使得硅橡胶分子链生成了大量的羟基基团。经过不同时间的电晕老化,可以明显观察到HTV硅橡胶分子链表面部分化学键的红外光谱吸收峰出现明显的减弱。其中2 960 cm-1处的C-H键吸收峰几乎消失,而在1 500~1 300 cm-1波段处的C=O基团峰值强度随着老化时间增加而逐渐增强(如图7(b)所示)。分析其原因认为,分子的化学键能越小,其断裂的几率越大,电晕放电时会释放大量的能量,持续放电产生的能量不断作用在硅橡胶分子链上时,使得长分子链发生断裂形成不同的小分子链、自由基团以及大量的游离基团,进而导致化学键能小的分子最先出现断裂,最终导致其红外光谱吸收峰变弱甚至消失。
在持续交流放电作用下,硅橡胶分子链被破坏形成不同结构的小分子链以及自由基。
硅橡胶分子链中主要含有Si-C、C-H和Si-O化学键,其键能如表2所示。从表2可以看出,硅橡胶分子链中Si-C共价键的键能仅为347 kJ/mol,因此Si-C最先发生断裂的机会最大,并生成甲基。随着分子链继续吸收电晕的能量,Si-O键发生断裂,形成新的小分子链。与此同时,硅橡胶分子链在电晕老化作用下,会有氢键、羟基、氧原子以及其他游离基团生成。此外,从图7还可以看出,部分波数段处红外光谱特征峰值随着老化进行而逐渐增大,其原因在于硅橡胶分子链在老化初期形成了不同基团的小分子链和游离基团,而呈现出部分基团增加的现象,在一定条件下,老化后硅橡胶表面各种基团相互交联形成新的化学键,使得部分化学基团减少,并使得分子链柔顺度降低,最终形成SEM照片中所示的各种缺陷。
采用ISPD试验系统正负电极对电晕老化后的硅橡胶试样充电9 min,充电完成后采用静电探头测试硅橡胶样片表面电位随时间衰减趋势如图8所示。从图8(a)可以看出,试样正极性直流电晕充电衰减曲线起始电压较高,随着时间延长正极性表面电位逐渐衰减到0 ,硅橡胶试样表面电位衰减速率随其老化时间的增加而加快。虽然不同硅橡胶试样的老化时间并非等差数列,但以老化75 h为分界线,老化程度低的3个试样表面电位衰减速率相差较小,当老化时间超过75 h时,试样表面电位衰减速率明显提升,硅橡胶在200 s左右几乎衰减到初始表面电位的10%左右,而硅橡胶在700 s左右就几乎衰减到0 。图8(b)中的负极性电晕充电后的表面电位起始电压相较于正极性充电起始电压有所降低,尤其老化时间超过100 h后,起始电压下降明显,仅为栅极负极性电压的40%左右。表明老化后硅橡胶表面的硅氧无机氧化层阻碍电子注入,从而导致负极性起始衰减电位较低[23]
图9为不同老化时间硅橡胶试样ISPD曲线计算所得硅橡胶表面空穴陷阱分布图。对比图9(a)9(b)可以看出,浅陷阱密度随着老化时间的增加不断升高,相反,深陷阱密度随着老化时间增加而不断降低,且其陷阱能级亦不断降低。
图10为硅橡胶在不同老化时间下电子陷阱分布图。从图10可以看出,硅橡胶在未老化时的电子浅陷阱能级中心为0.852 eV,密度峰值为1.605×1037 m-3。随着老化进行,电子浅陷阱能级中心逐渐降低,老化150 h后,硅橡胶电子浅陷阱能级中心为0.776 eV,密度峰值降低至0.326×1037 m-3。同时可以发现,硅橡胶电子浅陷阱、深陷阱能级和陷阱密度均随老化时间增加而降低,老化150 h后,电子深陷阱能级中心为0.822 eV,密度峰值为1.495×1037 m-3
图11为不同老化时间硅橡胶表面陷阱特性变化趋势,图11(a)中,电子和空穴陷阱能级中心都随着电晕老化时间的增加逐渐降低,呈先缓慢下降后快速下降的变化趋势。老化150 h后,空穴深陷阱和电子深陷阱下降约7.6%,而空穴浅陷阱和电子浅陷阱分别下降约9.8%和7.3%。
图11(b)可以看出,硅橡胶老化时间越长则硅橡胶空穴和电子深陷阱密度峰值越低,空穴浅陷阱密度增加速率逐步加快,电子浅陷阱密度略有上升后逐步下降。但老化一段时间后,电晕使得硅橡胶表面生成一定厚度的氧化物质,进而阻碍了后续电子注入,使得初始电压较低,因此不能有效反映硅橡胶表面真实的电子陷阱。
以上研究表明,电晕老化会在一定程度上浅化硅橡胶表面陷阱能级,随着电晕老化不断进行,硅橡胶表面的深陷阱逐渐发展为浅陷阱,深陷阱的存在使得载流子释放能量后易被陷阱捕获,不利于电荷输运,而浅陷阱相比于深陷阱将很大程度上提高电荷输运能力。因此老化后硅橡胶表面陷阱降低了对电荷的束缚,表现为老化时间越长,硅橡胶表面电位衰减速率越快[23-24]
电晕老化后硅橡胶深陷阱能级中心以及深陷阱密度与闪络电压的关系如图12所示。从图12可以看出,深陷阱能级中心越小,闪络电压越低,当深陷阱能级中心由0.898 eV下降到0.820 eV时,电子和空穴闪络电压下降了2.05 kV左右,而硅橡胶闪络电压同样也随着深陷阱密度峰值下降而降低。由此表明硅橡胶表面电荷的分布会受到深陷阱能级的影响,而电荷分布又会影响到硅橡胶的闪络电压。由前述研究可知,电晕老化使得硅橡胶表面陷阱逐渐浅化,载流子脱陷所需能量降低,当施加电压逐渐升高,电场为载流子提供更多能量,因此硅橡胶表面载流子越发容易激发、脱陷,使得能够参与到沿面放电的自由电荷更多,最终导致硅橡胶闪络电压随老化程度加深而降低。
(1)电晕老化使得硅橡胶表面结构受到破坏,且随着电晕老化加剧,硅橡胶表面出现了明显的孔洞和裂纹等物理缺陷,并造成严重的粉化现象。
(2)电晕老化破坏硅橡胶的分子长链,并生成各种小分子链以及其他游离基团,在适宜的条件下,各种小分子链之间发生交联反应,生成新的基团,导致硅橡胶分子链柔顺度降低,形成各种缺陷并导致硅橡胶绝缘性能下降。
(3)随着电晕老化时间增加,硅橡胶中电子和空穴陷阱能级中心都随着电晕老化程度加重先缓慢下降后快速下降。老化150 h后,空穴深陷阱和电子深陷阱密度下降约7.6%,而空穴浅陷阱、电子浅陷阱分别下降约9.8%和7.3%。且深陷阱逐渐发展成浅陷阱,使其对电子束缚作用减弱,最终造成硅橡胶沿面闪络电压降低。
