Large generators are affected by factors such as thermal stress during operation, resulting in deterioration or even failure of stator bar insulation, which affects the safe and stable operation of the generator. In order to clarify the effectiveness of the polarization and depolarization current (PDC) method for evaluating the main insulation performance of stator bars, at first, PDC method was used to evaluate the main insulation performance of stator bars in the thermal ageing state. According to the PDC test results, the basic characteristic parameters such as the steady-state conductance current, 0.1 Hz polarization/depolarization loss, and asymmetry coefficient were extracted. Then, singular value decomposition (SVD) algorithm was used to analyze the PDC data of the bar sample with the extended Debye model, and the branch number and branch parameters of its analog circuit were obtained. Through analysis, the change regulation of the above characteristic parameters during ageing was clarified. Finally, Fourier transform infrared spectrum (FTIR) analysis was conducted on samples with different thermal ageing durations to further clarify the mechanism of post-insulation curing and degradation from a microscopic perspective. The results show that as the degree of insulation ageing intensified, the steady-state conductivity current and 0.1 Hz polarization/depolarization loss increases, the degree of asymmetry coefficient deviation from 1 intensifies, and the interface polarization time constant τ2 decreases.

大型发电机在运行过程中会受到热应力等因素的影响,造成定子线棒绝缘劣化乃至失效,影响发电机的安全稳定运行。为了明确极化-去极化电流(PDC)法对于定子线棒主绝缘性能评估的有效性,首先采用PDC法评估热老化状态的定子线棒主绝缘性能。依据PDC测试结果,提取出稳态电导电流、0.1 Hz极化/去极化损耗、不对称系数等基本特征参量;随后再利用奇异值分解(SVD)算法对线棒样本的PDC数据进行扩展德拜模型的分析,得出其模拟电路的支路数和支路参量,通过分析明确老化过程中上述特征参量的变化规律。最后对不同热老化时长的样本进行傅里叶变换红外光谱(FTIR)分析,从微观角度进一步明确上述绝缘后固化和劣化过程的机理。结果表明:随着绝缘老化程度加剧,稳态电导电流和0.1 Hz极化/去极化损耗增加,不对称系数偏离1的程度加剧,界面极化时间常数τ2减小。

大型发电机在运行过程中会受到热应力等因素的影响,造成定子线棒绝缘劣化乃至失效,影响发电机的安全稳定运行。为了明确极化-去极化电流(PDC)法对于定子线棒主绝缘性能评估的有效性,首先采用PDC法评估热老化状态的定子线棒主绝缘性能。依据PDC测试结果,提取出稳态电导电流、0.1 Hz极化/去极化损耗、不对称系数等基本特征参量;随后再利用奇异值分解(SVD)算法对线棒样本的PDC数据进行扩展德拜模型的分析,得出其模拟电路的支路数和支路参量,通过分析明确老化过程中上述特征参量的变化规律。最后对不同热老化时长的样本进行傅里叶变换红外光谱(FTIR)分析,从微观角度进一步明确上述绝缘后固化和劣化过程的机理。结果表明:随着绝缘老化程度加剧,稳态电导电流和0.1 Hz极化/去极化损耗增加,不对称系数偏离1的程度加剧,界面极化时间常数τ2减小。

Large generators are affected by factors such as thermal stress during operation, resulting in deterioration or even failure of stator bar insulation, which affects the safe and stable operation of the generator. In order to clarify the effectiveness of the polarization and depolarization current (PDC) method for evaluating the main insulation performance of stator bars, at first, PDC method was used to evaluate the main insulation performance of stator bars in the thermal ageing state. According to the PDC test results, the basic characteristic parameters such as the steady-state conductance current, 0.1 Hz polarization/depolarization loss, and asymmetry coefficient were extracted. Then, singular value decomposition (SVD) algorithm was used to analyze the PDC data of the bar sample with the extended Debye model, and the branch number and branch parameters of its analog circuit were obtained. Through analysis, the change regulation of the above characteristic parameters during ageing was clarified. Finally, Fourier transform infrared spectrum (FTIR) analysis was conducted on samples with different thermal ageing durations to further clarify the mechanism of post-insulation curing and degradation from a microscopic perspective. The results show that as the degree of insulation ageing intensified, the steady-state conductivity current and 0.1 Hz polarization/depolarization loss increases, the degree of asymmetry coefficient deviation from 1 intensifies, and the interface polarization time constant τ2 decreases.

大型发电机作为电力系统的重要组成部分,其运行可靠性直接关系到电力系统的安全稳定运行。而保证大型发电机的主绝缘可靠性是其正常运行的基础。大型发电机定子线棒主绝缘为复合绝缘,由云母带构成,采用环氧树脂作为胶黏剂,玻璃纤维布作为补强材料[1]。在大型发电机运行过程中,其定子线棒主绝缘会受到电应力、热应力、机械振动等因素的影响,多应力协同作用造成定子线棒主绝缘不断劣化,发生局部放电直至最终击穿,造成电机绝缘失效而停止运行,从而严重影响电力系统的安全稳定运行[2]。因此,需要一种便捷、无损、直观且准确的手段来评估定子线棒绝缘劣化状况,以提高发电机运行的可靠性与稳定性以及预防发电机绝缘故障。
介电响应法作为电机定子线棒绝缘检测的重要方法,具有无损且携带信息丰富的优势[3-5]。介电响应法主要分为基于时域介电响应的极化-去极化电流法(polarization and depolarization current method,PDC)、回复电压法(recovery voltage method,RVM)、等温松弛电流法(isothermal relaxation current,IRC)和基于频域介电响应的频域介电谱法(frequency domain spectroscopy method,FDS)[6]。其中PDC法包含大量表征绝缘状况的信息,且使用方便、无损,对评估电机线棒的绝缘热老化状态具有重要意义。
关于电机定子线棒主绝缘的介电响应,现有的研究主要集中在定子线棒的频域响应,在时域介电响应方面,尤其是PDC法表征电机线棒的绝缘状态研究较少且不够深入。文献[7]设计了电机线棒绝缘的PDC测试系统,结合测试结果证明了PDC法对于测试电机绝缘的可行性。文献[8]通过在不同温度下对电机定子线棒进行PDC测试,证明了温度能够极大程度上影响电机定子线棒的极化-去极化电流,结合时-频转化研究了温度对定子线棒极化损耗的影响规律。文献[9]采用IRC方法,测试了不同运行时长的电机定子线棒主绝缘的等温松弛电流,研究了在较高测试电压及较长测试时间下,IRC等温松弛电流的拟合模型,但对于在较低电压及较短测试时间下的PDC测试未进行研究。关于频域介电响应方法,文献[6]通过FDS测试研究了环氧-云母绝缘体系的固化过程,发现环氧-云母在某一温度下老化一段时间,绝缘中的环氧树脂会发生固化反应,介电性能变好,且介电性能会随着固化温度的变化而变化。文献[10]对不同电老化时长的电机定子线棒进行FDS测试,研究发现电老化会使得环氧树脂-云母绝缘体系内部的极性基团增多,界面极化增强,其低频介电常数的实部和虚部都会随着电老化时长的增加而增大。文献[11]对不同热老化时长的电机定子线棒进行FDS测试,研究认为热老化初期的损耗减小现象是环氧树脂发生固化反应造成的。文献[12]研究了定子线棒绝缘受潮对其频域介电响应的影响。文献[13-14]研究了多因子老化对定子线棒主绝缘介质损耗因数的影响。
针对定子线棒主绝缘劣化程度评估的问题,本文开展PDC法表征热老化定子线棒绝缘状况的工作。通过PDC基本参量的变化探究两种不同程度的热老化对于电机定子线棒绝缘性能的影响,并对PDC测试结果进行扩展Debye模型模拟电路支路辨识,通过模型电路中的支路数和支路参量的变化规律,探究定子线棒主绝缘在不同类型热老化过程中所遵循的扩展Debye模型,以及热老化对支路参量的影响。
实验样本采用大型发电机定子线棒,其额定电压为15.75 kV,额定容量为312 MW,绝缘等级为F级,极限温度为155℃,性能参考温度为120℃,主绝缘为环氧-云母-玻璃纤维体系,样本如图1所示。
线棒两端露出的为铜导线和短距离的绝缘层,其余部分的绝缘表面均涂覆防晕漆或防晕带。其中高阻防晕漆的主要成分为添加SiC的绝缘漆,起到防止电晕以及爬电的作用,能够有效避免电机运行过程中沿面击穿事故的发生[15]。线棒中部覆盖的低阻防晕带,其主要成分是碳黑,具有半导电特性,能够防止电晕、均匀电场。
实验用线棒短样本从完整样本中部低阻漆段截取,如图2所示。短样本长度为50 cm,两端各剥离出7 cm的低阻防晕带,在距离两端2~7 cm处涂覆0.3 mm厚的高阻防晕漆。随后在距离端部5~9 cm处涂覆0.3 mm厚的低阻防晕漆作为搭接,防止低阻防晕带与高阻漆接口处的电场畸变对测试产生影响。
本文设置120℃和170℃两种老化温度,分别作为定子线棒主绝缘较低温度老化和较高温度老化的温度。在120℃较低温度老化状态下,线棒主绝缘中的环氧树脂可能发生软化,绝缘会出现一定程度的后固化和劣化。而根据文献[16],定子线棒内的环氧树脂玻璃化转变温度低于160℃,设定170℃的老化温度会使得定子线棒绝缘发生较为严重的劣化,内部的环氧断链、降解更加剧烈。参照一般高聚物的老化机理,主绝缘中的环氧树脂这两种老化形式的老化机理可能并不相同,相应线棒主绝缘反应出的PDC特征参量可能也不尽相同。为了明确各种老化形式的样本PDC参量规律,故设置这两种老化温度。
把制备好的样本分成两组放入电热恒温鼓风干燥箱(DHG-9640A型,成都晟杰科技)中,一组在120℃下分别热老化0、10、15、20、25、30 d,另一组在170℃下分别热老化15 d和20 d。
所有样本老化至相应时长后取出,在同温同湿条件下进行PDC测试,测试电路图如图3所示。实验所用高压直流电源输出电压范围为0~5 kV,皮安表为自制皮安表,电流采样精度为1 pA。测试过程中,极化电压设置为1 kV,极化和去极化时间均为300 s。测试过程中将样本中部的36 cm低阻段用导电铜带包裹,作为测试段。两端高阻漆处套上屏蔽环并接地,以避免测试过程中沿面电流对测试结果的影响。
在PDC测试完成后,采用红外光谱仪(Nicolet 6700型,美国尼高力)对不同热老化时长的短定子线棒样本主绝缘取样进行傅里叶变换红外光谱测试(FTIR)测试。为了避免取样位置不同给测试结果带来误差,取样位置均为绝缘的中间层。
不同热老化程度的短线棒样本极化电流-去极化电流测试结果如图4所示。从图4可以看出,对于120℃热老化样本,稳态时的泄漏电流随热老化时长的增加表现为先减小后增大的趋势,老化10 d和15 d时的极化电流尾段电导电流基本重合。对出现这种情况的原因进行推测认为,电介质在热老化初期,绝缘体系中的环氧树脂发生固化反应,环氧与云母贴合更加紧密,介电性能更好。当热老化时长处于10~15 d的某个时间点时,热应力劣化的程度开始超过后固化的程度,继续老化则极化电流整体表现为上升趋势。170℃热老化样本的极化电流明显高于120℃热老化样本。去极化电流主要表征在去极化过程中绝缘释放电荷量的多少,去极化电流幅值越大,释放电荷量越多,绝缘内部积累电荷的能力越强,说明绝缘内部的劣化越严重,去极化电流最终会衰减至零。结合图4结果可知,去极化电流整体变化趋势与极化电流基本一致。
为了进一步研究定子线棒热老化过程中主绝缘的时频域介电响应特性,基于PDC测试结果进行基本特征参量提取,随后进行支路辨识,并在此基础上提取支路参量对线棒主绝缘性能进行综合评估。
在PDC测试完成后,依据测试结果,提取稳态电导电流IS来表征电机绝缘性能,其计算如式(1)所示。

式(1)中,Ip 240-300Idp 240-300分别为测试最后60 s的极化电流值和去极化电流值,两者之差的算术平均值即为稳态电导电流。
给定子线棒样本施加直流电压之后,进入极化阶段,其内部存在电导损耗,以及偶极子依据电场方向转动、界面电荷积聚等现象共同构成的极化损耗。极化阶段完成后,撤去电压,界面电荷消散,偶极子重新恢复无序的排列,会产生去极化损耗。
在PDC测试之前,将样本完全接地放电,则PDC测试时t时刻的极化电流Ip(t)可以表示为式(2)

同时,考虑到定子线棒绝缘整体性老化会造成极化和去极化过程中的不对称现象[17]。因此,本文引入不对称系数K来表示这种不对称现象,如式(5)所示。

对于热老化的绝缘材料,材料内部会产生整体性缺陷,其极化损耗一般会小于去极化损耗[18]。极化损耗与去极化损耗的偏差越大,说明绝缘劣化造成的极化/去极化电流不对称现象越严重。
为了更直观地反映出定子线棒主绝缘基本参数的变化规律,同时明确同一样本的时域参量与频域参量之间的联系,绘制基本参量雷达图,如图5所示。从图5可以看出,热老化温度为120℃时,在热老化初期(10 d)时,由于环氧的固化作用,绝缘的稳态电导电流下降,0.1 Hz极化损耗和去极化损耗均下降,雷达图多边形的右侧向中部收窄。在热老化时长为15 d时,绝缘开始劣化,电导率上升,损耗增加。但老化10 d和15 d时的不对称系数K均小于初始状态的0.98,此时损耗很小,可以认为绝缘良好。当老化时间超过20 d时,随着老化时长增加,多边形向右侧及上下扩展,电导电流增大,损耗增大,不对称系数偏离1的程度增大,绝缘开始出现劣化。在热老化温度为170℃时,线棒样本的稳态电导电流已超过1×10-9 A,其不对称系数小于0.8,说明此时绝缘的劣化明显加强了其极化-去极化过程中的不对称现象,劣化产物的存在也增强了绝缘中载流子的迁移能力。
电机定子线棒主绝缘由多层复合绝缘结构构成,仅仅依靠电导率和低频损耗等宏观参量对绝缘状况进行评估是不够全面的。聚合物绝缘广泛遵循扩展Debye模型,依据表征聚合物绝缘的扩展Debye模型[19],结合多个阻容元件来构成线棒多重复合绝缘的扩展Debye模型,如图6所示,可以模拟绝缘介质在施加电场后内部存在的不同类型的极化过程。
图6中,每一组RC串联支路都代表一种独立的极化类型,这些极化类型的响应强度和响应时间不尽相同,对于每一个可能存在的支路,可以用Ai表征极化强度,τi表征极化响应时间。图6左侧R0C0支路主要代表环氧-云母绝缘内部的充电电流和位移电流,其中R0为复合绝缘等效出来的绝缘电阻,用来表征电导损耗,而C0为等效的几何电容。右侧 RiCi支路主要代表弛豫时间不同的松弛极化过程,主要包含不同种类的偶极子极化、不同绝缘材料之间的界面极化、以及随老化进行聚合物降解产生的小分子和极性基团等物质与绝缘本体发生的界面极化等。在忽略掉电容的充电电流和位移电流等时间常数很短、无法被设备采样的电流之后,根据扩展Debye模型,线棒绝缘极化电流如式(6)所示。

式(6)中:n表示绝缘本体的偶极子极化支路与界面极化支路的数量总和;Ai表示第i个支路的极化强度;τi表示第i个支路的时间常数;IS为电场存在时绝缘内部的电导电流。
定子线棒绝缘中存在3种电介质,两两之间又存在界面极化,此外老化产物和本体之间也会产生界面极化,理论上的支路数有很多,但难以准确辨识出每一条支路。因此把时间常数相近的支路等效为一个支路。
本文采用奇异值分解(SVD)算法[20],辨识出老化0 d时线棒主绝缘的支路数n=2,且随着老化的进行,所有样本的支路数没有变化。为了得出等效支路的各参量,令式(6)n=2,得出式(7),在origin软件中按照式(7)对各极化电流曲线进行最小二乘拟合,各曲线的拟合度R2均大于0.98。拟合得到的曲线如图7所示,图中的散点为原始数据点。

根据拟合结果,时间常数τ1较小,为1~3 s;而时间常数τ2较大,为数秒至数十秒。因此,根据式(6)中的Aie-t/τi项,定义i=1项为绝缘本体存在的所有种类的等效偶极子转向极化,项中A1为偶极子极化强度,τ1为偶极子极化时间常数;定义i=2项为绝缘中存在的所有种类的等效界面极化,项中A2为界面极化强度,τ2为界面极化时间常数。支路参量雷达图如图8所示。
图8可以看出,120℃时,A1在热老化10 d时出现最大值,且相对未老化样本A1增幅较为明显,说明此时绝缘本体的偶极子极化被加强,与之相对应的是界面极化强度A2的下降,说明此时绝缘中的界面极化现象有所减弱。此时处于热老化初期,环氧树脂发生固化反应,一些短链的小分子物质固化交联形成大分子,分子链的立体网状结构强度更高,界面处的电荷不容易积聚,环氧与云母的贴合程度更加紧密,绝缘的本体极化加强,电机绝缘体系的介电性能表现为一定程度地上升。随着老化的继续进行(15 d),A1出现下降,说明环氧与云母的贴合程度发生了下降,本体极化的强度下降。在10~15 d存在某个时间点,超过此时间绝缘劣化的程度开始超过固化的程度。此时偶极子极化强度刚刚开始下降,但由于老化时间刚刚超过此时间,绝缘内部载流子迁移还较为困难,慢极化强度A2没有明显上升,甚至略有下降,慢极化时间常数τ2仍较大。当老化时间超过20 d时,A1基本维持在2左右,τ1基本维持在1.5 s左右,界面极化强度A2随老化时间没有明显的上升,基本处于3.5左右。此时,反映绝缘劣化状况最直观的参量为τ2,其随着老化时间的增加而明显下降,与之相对应的是稳态电导电流IS的上升。说明绝缘内部开始出现劣化现象,环氧树脂大分子链的网状结构开始被破坏,劣化形成的小分子物质、极性基团等开始形成有利于载流子迁移的通路,这些劣化产物与大分子区域、云母之间界面电荷迁移更加容易,载流子迁移所需要的时间变短,支路谱图多边形左侧收窄。此时绝缘的通流能力增强。
对于170℃下老化的样本,由于老化温度较高,实验测试结果表明其绝缘呈现明显劣化,支路参数也符合该变化趋势,即τ2明显减小。说明更高的老化温度加剧了绝缘内部老化产物的生成,同时更加明显地破坏了绝缘中环氧树脂的结构,更加有利于绝缘内部载流子的迁移。界面极化支路时间常数τ2能够有效表征绝缘老化程度。
对于定子线棒主绝缘,在单一热应力作用下,170℃及以下的老化温度不会对云母及玻璃纤维的绝缘性能造成明显影响,性能发生变化的为环氧树脂[21-22]。环氧树脂在固化发生前,其主要由环氧树脂短链小分子及一定量固化剂混合而成[23]。在电机定子线棒完成制造工艺出厂后,其内部的环氧树脂并没有完全固化[24],其主要组分为经固化交联后的大分子环氧树脂链、小分子环氧树脂和残余的固化剂等。未老化的环氧云母绝缘,其内部的游离基团含量很微弱[2]
为了进一步探究热老化作用对PDC测试结果造成影响的原因,对不同老化时长的环氧云母样本进行FTIR测试,结果如图9所示。环氧云母绝缘内部所含的主要基团为羰基-C=O,其吸收峰波数为1 700~1 750 cm-1,以及羟基-OH,其吸收峰波数为3 621 cm-1。在热老化过程中,环氧树脂分子链在空气中氧气的氧化作用下,同样会生成游离的羰基与羧基,造成绝缘性能下降。从图9可以看出,在120℃下老化10 d时,羰基和羟基的吸光度下降,但随着老化的继续进行,样本羰基和羟基的吸光度随热老化时间的变化规律并不明显。而170℃下老化15 d时,羰基吸光度甚至明显低于未老化样本。理论上高温促使聚合物绝缘劣化,内部应当出现更多的自由基,但定子线棒主绝缘的FTIR结果并没有反映出这一点。对其原因进行推测认为可能是由于未劣化的环氧树脂中本身就含有结合态的羟基与羰基。红外光谱结果中羟基信号增加不明显的原因是绝缘内部的结合水在高温的作用下逸出,而羰基信号增加不明显的可能原因是环氧分子链被进一步氧化生成CO2逸出。
因此,本文考虑用波数为2 924 cm-1的C-H不对称伸缩振动峰和波数为2 876 cm-1的C-H对称伸缩振动峰来定性表征线棒绝缘老化状态。在120℃下老化30 d时,相较于初始状态,样本中C-H不对称伸缩振动峰略有下降,说明此时绝缘已发生劣化,但并不显著,PDC的测试结果也证明了这一点。而在170℃下老化15~20 d的样本,其C-H对称和不对称伸缩振动峰明显下降,说明高热严重破坏了环氧树脂的分子链结构。
基于PDC测试与FTIR分析结果,对线棒主绝缘热老化过程中环氧树脂的固化和劣化特性发展过程总结如图10所示。热老化初期,在热应力的作用下,环氧树脂分子链开始进行后固化过程,固化交联形成强度更高的网状分子链结构。环氧树脂性能的变化,会使得绝缘层与层之间的贴合更加紧密,不易形成载流子的通路,界面极化程度下降,介电性能变强。随着热老化时长或热老化温度的增加,在高温和氧气的作用下,长链的环氧树脂发生断链,环氧树脂的分子链结构逐渐被破坏,形成了大量短链小分子和游离的极性基团,使得环氧和云母之间贴合程度发生下降,再加上环氧本体的劣化,更有利于形成载流子迁移的通路,导致绝缘的介电性能下降。
(1)在120℃热老化初期,定子线棒主绝缘中的环氧树脂发生后固化现象,分子链发生固化交联反应,绝缘性能变好,继续老化则会发生分子链的断链和游离极性基团的生成,使绝缘劣化。
(2)随着老化程度的加剧,定子线棒绝缘样本的稳态电导电流、低频损耗增加,不对称系数偏离1的程度加剧。未老化样本和所有老化样本的扩展Debye模型支路数均为2,界面极化支路时间常数τ2随着老化程度加剧而减小。结合特征参量和支路参量的变化可以评估其主绝缘的劣化程度。
(3)基于PDC法和相应的基本参量及特征参量,能够有效评估大型发电机定子线棒主绝缘的绝缘性能和劣化程度。
