The voltage endurance coefficient n of XLPE insulation can characterize the electrical life characteristics of the insulation, and the n value can be obtained by analyzing the failure data obtained from the accelerated life test. However, the accuracy of the n value is affected by the applied field strength in the accelerated life test and the analysis method of the failure data obtained in the test. In this paper, the evaluation method of voltage endurance coefficient n was studied. The constant stress test and the step stress test were conducted on XLPE insulation samples, respectively, and a test data analysis method based on damage eigenvalues was proposed. This method established the mapping relationship between accumulated damage threshold (Dc) and n in the test through the damage matrix, and used the change of matrix rank as the selection criteria of n value. The results show that according to the proposed method, the XLPE insulation voltage endurance coefficient n2 obtained in constant stress test is 12.43 and n3 obtained in step stress test is 12.04, which compare with the XLPE insulation voltage endurance coefficient n1 of 12.83 obtained by linear fitting, the difference is only 3% and 6%. Moreover, the proposed method can save more than 75% of the test time, which verifies the effectiveness of the method.

XLPE绝缘的电压耐受指数n表征绝缘电寿命特性,对加速寿命试验中获取的失效数据进行分析可以获取n值,然而,加速寿命试验中的外施场强与试验所获失效数据的分析方法影响n值的准确性。本文研究电压耐受指数n的评估方法,对XLPE绝缘试样分别进行恒定应力试验与步进应力试验,提出基于损伤特征值的试验数据分析方法,该方法通过损伤矩阵建立试验中累积损伤阈值(Dc)与n的映射关系,以矩阵秩的变化作为n值的选取依据。结果表明:本文所提方法在恒定应力试验中获取的XLPE绝缘电压耐受指数n2=12.43,在步进应力试验中获取的XLPE绝缘电压耐受指数n3=12.04,较线性拟合获取的XLPE绝缘电压耐受指数n1=12.83仅相差3%与6%,且本文所提方法能够节省75%以上的试验时间,验证了该方法的有效性。

XLPE绝缘的电压耐受指数n表征绝缘电寿命特性,对加速寿命试验中获取的失效数据进行分析可以获取n值,然而,加速寿命试验中的外施场强与试验所获失效数据的分析方法影响n值的准确性。本文研究电压耐受指数n的评估方法,对XLPE绝缘试样分别进行恒定应力试验与步进应力试验,提出基于损伤特征值的试验数据分析方法,该方法通过损伤矩阵建立试验中累积损伤阈值(Dc)与n的映射关系,以矩阵秩的变化作为n值的选取依据。结果表明:本文所提方法在恒定应力试验中获取的XLPE绝缘电压耐受指数n2=12.43,在步进应力试验中获取的XLPE绝缘电压耐受指数n3=12.04,较线性拟合获取的XLPE绝缘电压耐受指数n1=12.83仅相差3%与6%,且本文所提方法能够节省75%以上的试验时间,验证了该方法的有效性。

The voltage endurance coefficient n of XLPE insulation can characterize the electrical life characteristics of the insulation, and the n value can be obtained by analyzing the failure data obtained from the accelerated life test. However, the accuracy of the n value is affected by the applied field strength in the accelerated life test and the analysis method of the failure data obtained in the test. In this paper, the evaluation method of voltage endurance coefficient n was studied. The constant stress test and the step stress test were conducted on XLPE insulation samples, respectively, and a test data analysis method based on damage eigenvalues was proposed. This method established the mapping relationship between accumulated damage threshold (Dc) and n in the test through the damage matrix, and used the change of matrix rank as the selection criteria of n value. The results show that according to the proposed method, the XLPE insulation voltage endurance coefficient n2 obtained in constant stress test is 12.43 and n3 obtained in step stress test is 12.04, which compare with the XLPE insulation voltage endurance coefficient n1 of 12.83 obtained by linear fitting, the difference is only 3% and 6%. Moreover, the proposed method can save more than 75% of the test time, which verifies the effectiveness of the method.

交联聚乙烯(XLPE)绝缘材料因其优良的电气性能已被广泛用作高压直流电缆的主绝缘材料[1]。XLPE绝缘的寿命评估工作能够为直流电网的稳定运行提供技术支撑,众多研究人员对XLPE绝缘失效的相关规律进行了研究[2-4]。反幂模型(inverse power model,IPM)被用来描述固体绝缘材料的电寿命特征,IPM参数中的电压耐受指数n是评估绝缘寿命的重要参数,也是电缆出厂试验中电压设置及绝缘厚度设计的重要依据[5]
目前,主要通过加速寿命试验来获取XLPE电压耐受指数n,进而外推出正常应力水平下的电缆寿命信息[6]。其中,恒定应力法与步进应力法为加速寿命试验的两种主要方法。恒定应力法是通过施加恒定场强进行加速寿命试验获取失效数据,该方法的加速老化形式更接近绝缘的自然老化。文献[7]基于IPM模型,推导出以XLPE电气强度与老化时间的关系为基础的寿命表达式,采用恒定应力试验与击穿试验获取了电压耐受指数n。文献[8]提出了极性反转情况下XLPE绝缘的寿命模型,通过恒定电应力试验与空间电荷测试计算出模型参数,评估出电缆预期寿命。但恒定应力法获取失效数据的时间较长,且获取的失效数据分散性较大[9]
步进应力法具有加压时间短、失效数据分散性小的优点,是应用较为广泛的固体绝缘材料加速寿命试验方法[10]。文献[11]使用步进应力法测试了XLPE在不同温度下的耐压特性,对比了Crine模型与IPM模型反映材料耐老化性能的差异。文献[12]将步进电压的阶跃式上升考虑为斜坡式上升,在IPM模型中加入了斜坡上升时间内的累积损伤,并求解出IPM参数。然而,恒定应力法与步进应力法获取的失效数据具有不同的表现形式。前者能够用具体的(Et)失效数据点表示,进而将数据点线性拟合获取IPM参数,而后者的绝缘失效是电损伤的逐级累加所致,无法将其表征到具体某一电压等级下,因此无法通过线性拟合的方式获取n值。不同的n值获取方法在一定程度上影响了评估方式的等效性,弱化了外推电寿命信息的可信度。此外,步进加压的方式可能导致绝缘老化过程中存在不同的老化机理,从而导致步进应力下的加速老化不能等效于恒定电压下的自然老化[13],相应地由步进应力法所得结果外推获取的电寿命不具有参考价值。
上述两类问题的存在影响了使用步进应力法评估n值的等效性。本文分析试验参数对绝缘老化的影响机制,研究维持步进加压过程中老化机理一致的参数选取方法。针对获取n值的方法不同所引起的等效性问题,提出基于损伤特征值的矩阵化IPM参数评估方法,并开展相关试验对所提方法进行验证。
式(1)为IPM的表达式,其在lnE-lnt坐标系中的线性关系如式(2)所示,从IPM曲线的斜率和截距可以分别获取参数nDc[14]

式(1)~(2)中:t为绝缘材料在场强E下的电寿命;参数n为电压耐受指数;Dc为电介质承受电损伤的阈值,相同规格试样的nDc为常数。
在恒定应力试验中,通过选取多个等级的恒定场强来加速XLPE绝缘失效,将各等级电场下产生的(Et)数据进行线性拟合得到式(2),从而在曲线中外推出特定场强下的剩余电寿命。然而,恒定应力法存在两个主要缺陷:①当选取场强较低时,试样达到绝缘失效耗时过长;②在合适的场强下,试样达到绝缘失效的时间具有较大的分散性。
步进应力法通过逐级升高场强的方式使绝缘介质承受的场强更快过渡到高场强。步进应力法中累积损伤阈值Dc的表达式如式(3)所示,步进至高场强时,损伤的累积速率将呈指数形式增加,试验效率明显优于恒定应力法[15]

式(3)中:E0为初始场强;Eii=0、1…,k-1)为各级场强;∆t为升压时间步长;tk为末级场强Ek的作用时间。
然而,步进应力法的参数选取同样缺乏依据,并且试验参数相较于恒定应力法更多,盲目选取的参数组合对XLPE绝缘老化过程的影响具有更强的随机性,这也是目前使用该方法进行XLPE绝缘加速寿命试验的主要缺陷。
上述两类方法对老化过程的影响来源于两个方面:①过高的场强会改变绝缘的击穿形式;②过低的场强使绝缘的老化过程漫长,受到环境因素的影响较大,同样影响绝缘的击穿形式。如图1所示,过高或过低的场强会改变绝缘的击穿类型,使n值发生明显变化,造成lnE-lnt曲线在较宽的场强范围内呈现显著的非线性特征[16]。从图1可以看出,以场强EaEb为界线将不同斜率的寿命曲线划分为3个区间。Ea为阈值场强,当外施场强低于阈值场强时,电寿命可视为无穷。Eb为短时击穿场强[17]
在区间I中的高场强作用下,电荷的大量注入使绝缘中的陷阱迅速被填满,无法被陷阱捕获的电荷发生极间迁移,使得流经绝缘的电流迅速增大,导致绝缘表面温度过高并引发热击穿。随着场强降至区间II,注入的电荷在陷阱中发生入陷、脱陷与迁移等现象,并与陷阱中的分子链发生碰撞使之断链与重排,导致局部绝缘性能不断劣化,此外伴随着热量的产生,使绝缘最终呈现电-热击穿[18]。低于区间Ⅲ的场强几乎无法引起电荷的注入,绝缘在漫长的老化过程中受到电-热-化学等多种因素的影响,最终呈偶发性击穿。
图2是以电-热老化为机理的加压过程示意图。图2中的参数Dc表示XLPE绝缘介质所能承受的电损伤阈值,当绝缘老化机理改变时,多类型应力损伤使XLPE绝缘介质的绝缘性能下降,承受电损伤的能力降低,导致Dc值低于自然电-热老化下的水平,获取的IPM参数不能表征XLPE绝缘在自然老化下的电寿命。因此,可以将区间II视为维持老化机理不变的最大区间。
区间II的电场上限Eb可由短时击穿测试获取,具体步骤于2.1节详述。获取Ea的方法为传导电流法,传导测试通常在30~90℃的温度范围内进行。传导电流密度J与外加电场E之间的关系如式(4)所示。

式(4)中:α表示传导电流密度随外施场强变化的比例系数;x为系数。
E与测试获取的传导电流密度的数据点(EJ)在双对数坐标系下进行线性拟合,可获取E-J特性曲线。Ea代表电荷注入的起始场强,当E>Ea时,传导电流过渡到非欧姆区,两区域的分界处使E-J曲线发生明显的偏转,偏转处所对应的场强为阈值场强Ea
恒定外施电场能够稳定在区间II,但步进场强的阶梯增加可能占满所有区间,造成试验过程中具有不同的老化机理。故在设置步进应力试验时,应确保初始场强E0>Ea,以保证能够引起电-热老化作用,若击穿时的场强Ek<Eb,则说明整个试验过程具有相同的老化机理。否则,应重新选取参数进行试验。
由于试验中的试样规格相同,因此在理想情况下,无论加压方式为恒定方式或步进方式,每次试验的Dc值均应相同。以此为依据,将每次步进应力试验中获取的E1E2Ektk代入反幂模型,通过nDc的映射关系构成m阶矩阵D中的各元素,并且矩阵D的秩为1。

能使式(5)为0的λ值即为方阵D的特征值。根据秩为1的矩阵特点可知,该m阶矩阵有m-1个特征值为0,剩余不为0的最大特征值λmax=mDc。因此,处理试验数据获取n值等同于求解满足条件的特征值,求解表达式如式(6)所示。

式(6)中:S表示m-1个较小的特征值之和;I表示Sλmax的比值。
由于实际试验中的Dc值总有偏差,矩阵D中的初始数据具有一定的分散性,而通过迭代n值的方式则能不断改变矩阵元素的分散程度,因此,当获取的n值能够使Sλmax之比I近似于0时,可认为此时的n值接近真实的n值。利用损伤特征值法获取n值的流程如图3所示。
值得注意的是,在迭代求解的过程中,可能存在不止一个符合条件的n值,因此需要加入精度(α)要求,取最小I值对应的n值作为材料的真实n值。本文选取Iminα=5%作为约束条件,Imin越小,则n值的唯一性越好。
选用北欧化工公司生产的绝缘料制备XLPE薄片,使用平板硫化机将铜板模具中的XLPE料粒热压成厚度为100 μm的薄片试样,使用无水乙醇清洗试样,再将其放入60℃的真空烘箱中干燥24 h。
为减少试验时间,将同组试验中的试样进行并联加压,当一个试样被击穿时将自动断开加压,其余试样继续加压。步进应力试验与恒定应力试验均通过如图4所示的加压装置进行。
图4中的加压装置具有交直流两个回路,当直流回路中的XLPE试样发生击穿时,流过的电流使固态继电器通电从而控制交流回路中的常开开关闭合。交流回路接通后,牵引电磁铁中的线圈通电使其常闭开关断开,同时由计时器记录下直流电压的施加时间。
在恒定应力试验之前以1 kV/s的升压速率对试样进行短时击穿测试,结果如图5所示。采用式(7)所示的双参数Weibull分布模型分析击穿数据以获取试样的击穿场强。

式(7)中:F(E)为场强为E时的击穿概率;αβ分别为尺度参数和形状参数。
图5可以看出,击穿概率为63.2%的短时击穿场强Eb=354 kV/mm。由于试验在室温下进行,选取Ea=30.73 kV/mm,其获取方式可参考文献[19]。
在恒定应力试验中,并联加压试样数量为6组,所选取的恒定电压分别为18、21、24 kV,均位于区间II。不同恒定电压下失效时间的Weibull分布如图6所示。
各电压作用下击穿概率为63.2%的失效时间的统计分布如图6中的参数α所示。将所得失效数据点(Et)进行拟合,得到IPM参数n1=12.83,Dc=3.42×1021
为对比以上采用线性拟合方式获取的IPM参数,使用损伤特征值法根据以上数据再次获取IPM的参数。采用图6中阴影部分的数据点(Et)构成3阶损伤矩阵并获取n值,结果如图7所示。由于所用数据量仅为线性拟合方式的一半,故可节约一半样品,并且在无法并联加压的条件下,可减少50%以上的试验时间。
由于符合条件的n值能够使I近似于0,为使结果更加直观,图7中以I值倒数的变化曲线来反映I值的变化。曲线的峰值对应的横坐标即为符合条件的n值,此时的λmax=3Dc。所得符合条件的n2=12.43,Dc=1.87×1021
为避免步进场强升高过快,选取初始场强U0=33.3%Ub=10 kV,∆U1=2.9%Ub=1 kV。根据以往研究,多样的步进应力试验参数所得结果具有更好的代表性[20],因此参数选取如表1所示,各次试验所产生的累积损伤曲线如图8所示。
图8(a)(c)中的损伤曲线作为各行元素构成3阶损伤矩阵。对n值在0~40的范围内进行迭代,所得结果如图9所示。从图9中获取符合条件的n3=12.06,Dc=2.38×1021。根据步进应力试验数据,其所耗时间之和不到恒定应力试验所耗时间的25%,但所获n值仅偏差0.77。3种方法获取的IPM参数如表2所示。
所选取的恒定场强与各次步进应力试验的初、末级场强均位于区间II。此外,Imin均小于5%的约束条件,满足将峰值处的n值选取为真实n值的条件。
由线性拟合获取的恒定应力IPM曲线与由损伤特征值法分别获取的恒定应力与步进应力IPM曲线如图10所示。从图10可以看出,由恒定损伤特征值与步进损伤特征值获取的IPM曲线均位于由恒定失效数据线性拟合所得IPM曲线的95%置信区间内。此外,在低场强下曲线重合度更高,证明以另外两种方式获取的IPM曲线在较低场强水平下进行外推寿命计算时均具有较高的准确度。
XLPE绝缘的电压耐受指数不仅能够表征其电压耐受能力的大小,也能反映绝缘老化机理的变化。本文分析了以电应力为主导的电-热老化模式下XLPE绝缘电压耐受指数的评估方法,该方法同样有助于分析非电应力主导的XLPE绝缘老化机理。
XLPE绝缘试样厚度与试验温度能够从微观层面影响老化机理。厚度的增加意味着深陷阱与浅陷阱密度的增大,浅陷阱密度越大则被捕获的电荷越多,电荷积聚造成的电场畸变现象也越严重;但深陷阱的存在可能会对电荷积聚起到抑制作用。
对于一定厚度的XLPE绝缘试样而言,电极处注入的同极性电荷在绝缘内部会发生入陷、脱陷与迁移的现象,而深陷阱的存在导致入陷电荷难以脱陷而积累于深陷阱中,使电极与XLPE绝缘的交界处形成界面电荷层,削弱了电荷的注入过程。更多的电荷注入需要克服更大的能量势垒,而势垒值与温度有关,温度的升高能够降低电荷注入所需势垒,对绝缘的老化起促进作用。
在试验温度小于XLPE绝缘介质的玻璃化转变温度时,其陷阱特性不会发生显著的变化,介质的微观结构不会发生明显的改变[21],主导绝缘的老化机理是否变化是不明确的。但这一变化却可以从宏观层面的电压耐受指数的变化来体现。这是因为热应力对XLPE绝缘老化的影响会改变绝缘的电压耐受能力,在电场相同而温度不同的条件下获取n值,使n值发生明显变化的温度即为主导老化的机理变为热应力时的温度。
本文分析了外施场强对XLPE绝缘老化机理的影响,通过损伤特征值法对恒定应力试验数据与步进应力试验数据进行分析,得到如下结论:
(1)由线性拟合与损伤特征值法获取的XLPE绝缘电压耐受指数n1n2n3的值位于12~13的范围内,这与现有的n值参考范围(9~20)相符,表明相同的老化机理能够获取有效的试验结果。
(2)恒定应力损伤特征值法获取的XLPE绝缘电压耐受指数n2相比n1仅相差3%,并且前者消耗时间仅为后者的一半,表明在外推电寿命时该方法具有更高的效率,且所得n值可取代线性拟合获取的n值。
(3)步进应力损伤特征值法获取的XLPE绝缘电压耐受指数n3相比n1仅相差6%,但所用时间节省了75%以上。3种方法获取的IPM曲线外推出的低场强下的电寿命几乎相同,因此在外推XLPE绝缘的低场寿命时,采用步进应力法更加高效。
