In order to explore the effect of very fast transient overvoltage (VFTO) on the breakdown properties of epoxy resin, epoxy resin samples were prepared and conducted 1 000 times of VFTO ageing tests at 20 kV and 40 kV, respectively. The effects of VFTO ageing on the chemical structure, micromorphology, dielectric parameters, and breakdown properties of the epoxy resins were studied by infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, dielectric spectroscopy, and breakdown experiment. The results show that after VFTO ageing, the contents of C-O-C bond and C=O bond in epoxy resin decrease, the internal defect increases, the relaxation behavior enhances, and the electric strength decreases. After VFTO ageing at 20 kV and 40 kV, the electric strength of epoxy resin decreases by 14.89% and 25.67%, respectively. Through analysis, it is found that after the VFTO ageing, the internal macromolecular chains of the epoxy resin were broken, leading to an increase of defects, which is the main reason for the decrease of its electric strength.

为了探究快速暂态过电压(VFTO)对环氧树脂击穿性能的影响,本文制得环氧树脂试样,并在20 kV与40 kV下对试样进行1 000次VFTO老化试验,通过红外光谱、扫描电子显微镜、介电谱及击穿试验,研究了VFTO老化对环氧树脂化学结构、微观形貌、介电参数与击穿性能的影响。结果表明:经VFTO老化后,环氧树脂表面C-O-C键和C=O含量减少,试样内部缺陷增多,松弛极化行为增强,电气强度下降。在20 kV和40 kV VFTO老化作用后,环氧树脂的电气强度分别降低了14.89%和25.67%。通过分析发现,VFTO老化作用后,环氧树脂内部大分子链断裂导致缺陷增多,这是其电气强度下降的主要原因。

为了探究快速暂态过电压(VFTO)对环氧树脂击穿性能的影响,本文制得环氧树脂试样,并在20 kV与40 kV下对试样进行1 000次VFTO老化试验,通过红外光谱、扫描电子显微镜、介电谱及击穿试验,研究了VFTO老化对环氧树脂化学结构、微观形貌、介电参数与击穿性能的影响。结果表明:经VFTO老化后,环氧树脂表面C-O-C键和C=O含量减少,试样内部缺陷增多,松弛极化行为增强,电气强度下降。在20 kV和40 kV VFTO老化作用后,环氧树脂的电气强度分别降低了14.89%和25.67%。通过分析发现,VFTO老化作用后,环氧树脂内部大分子链断裂导致缺陷增多,这是其电气强度下降的主要原因。

In order to explore the effect of very fast transient overvoltage (VFTO) on the breakdown properties of epoxy resin, epoxy resin samples were prepared and conducted 1 000 times of VFTO ageing tests at 20 kV and 40 kV, respectively. The effects of VFTO ageing on the chemical structure, micromorphology, dielectric parameters, and breakdown properties of the epoxy resins were studied by infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, dielectric spectroscopy, and breakdown experiment. The results show that after VFTO ageing, the contents of C-O-C bond and C=O bond in epoxy resin decrease, the internal defect increases, the relaxation behavior enhances, and the electric strength decreases. After VFTO ageing at 20 kV and 40 kV, the electric strength of epoxy resin decreases by 14.89% and 25.67%, respectively. Through analysis, it is found that after the VFTO ageing, the internal macromolecular chains of the epoxy resin were broken, leading to an increase of defects, which is the main reason for the decrease of its electric strength.

环氧树脂因具有较高的电气强度与机械强度,作为电力设备的绝缘介质与支撑介质,在输变电线路中的套管、盆式绝缘子等固体绝缘设备中广为应用[1-6]。GIS中开关设备的操作会产生快速暂态过电压(VFTO),VFTO的存在会对电力设备的绝缘性能产生损伤,甚至可能会导致套管、盆式绝缘子等固体绝缘设备发生闪络和击穿[7-9],严重威胁着电力设备的安全稳定运行与电力系统的供电可靠性。
为了降低VFTO对电力设备的影响,研究人员提出了合理优化的操作方法,抑制VFTO的产生[10-12]。韩彬[12]研究发现,加快分合闸速度可减少开关击穿次数,说明提升分合闸速率可有效抑制VFTO的产生。除抑制VFTO产生外,研究人员还发现,通过抑制VFTO的传播也可以降低其对电力设备的损害,如使用铁氧体磁环来改变导电杆局部的高频电磁参数,抑制VFTO沿线路的传播[13-16]。在此基础上,胡杨等[15]和刘子英[16]等分别研究了铁氧体磁环的加装位置和尺寸形状对VFTO抑制作用的影响,发现通过调整并优化铁氧体磁环加装位置和结构,可增强其对VFTO的抑制效果。以上关于VFTO的研究主要集中在降低其对电力设备的“攻击性”,采取的措施主要是抑制VFTO的产生与传播,而很少有研究关注如何增强电力设备绝缘系统对VFTO的抵抗能力,进而从材料的角度出发,设计出一种对VFTO有着高抵抗力的绝缘材料。目前,关于VFTO对绝缘材料性能劣化的研究很少,学者们在探讨如何进行材料改性以提升其对VFTO的抵抗力时缺乏理论指导与研究方向。因此,有必要研究VFTO老化对绝缘材料如环氧树脂等电气性能的影响,并对相关机理进行探讨。
本文先制备环氧树脂试样,然后在20 kV与40 kV的VFTO作用下对试样进行1 000次放电老化,并通过红外光谱试验、扫描电子显微镜、宽频介电谱及击穿试验,研究VFTO老化对环氧树脂性能的影响,并阐明其电气强度变化的内在机理。
环氧树脂为双酚A环氧树脂(WSR618型)、固化剂为甲基四氢苯酐(GH9303型),南通星辰合成材料有限公司;促进剂为2,4,6-三(二甲氨基甲基)苯酚,上海阿拉丁生化科技股份有限公司;脱模剂为佳丹909,东莞市佳丹润滑油有限公司。
制样前将模具清洗干净,均匀喷涂脱模剂后放入120℃的烘箱备用。称取100 g环氧树脂、80 g固化剂与1 g促进剂倒入三口烧瓶中混合搅拌5 min。然后将烧瓶内的混合物加热至50℃,搅拌30 min并脱气。随后将搅拌好的混合物倒入预热完毕的模具中进行浇筑。浇筑后模具放入真空烘箱中脱气20 min,随后进行常压固化。固化程序为80℃/2 h+120℃/14 h。固化结束后自然冷却至室温,开模取样。制得的试样厚度为1 mm,直径为100 mm。用无水乙醇与去离子水分别对试样超声清洗10 min,之后放入60℃的干燥箱备用。
VFTO老化试验平台如图1所示。将试样放在腔体内用电极夹紧,电极为圆形板-板电极,直径为6 cm,随后在大气条件下进行VFTO老化。使用冲击电压发生器产生脉冲电压,模拟VFTO作用下盆式绝缘子上的电场并施加于环氧树脂试样上,选用的电源电压峰值分别为20 kV和40 kV,经1 000次VFTO放电后取出试样。每个电压下对5片试样进行老化。
使用IRprestige-21型红外光谱仪测量试样的红外光谱,测试范围为3 600~600 cm-1;使用VE9800型扫描电子显微镜观察试样在5 000倍率下的断面微观形貌,试样使用液氮脆断;使用Concept 80型宽带介电谱测量试样在常温下介电常数和介质损耗因数的频谱,测试频段为10-1~106 Hz;采用ZGS II 400/2型直流高压发生器对试样进行直流击穿试验,升压速率为2 kV/s,试验采用球-球电极,电极材料为铜,直径为20 mm。为了避免发生闪络,击穿试验在绝缘油中进行。对3个试样共进行10次有效击穿,然后使用Weibull分布模型对试验数据进行分析。
图2为试样经VFTO老化前后的红外光谱图(以1 609 cm-1处苯环吸收峰对曲线进行归一化处理)。
图2可以看出,VFTO老化后,试样表面并未产生新的化学基团,但主要化学基团的特征吸收峰强度存在差异。在2 929 cm-1和2 964 cm-1处的特征吸收峰分别对应-CH2与-CH3的反对称伸缩振动[17]。经VFTO老化后,随着老化电压的提升,这两处的吸收峰强度上升,表明老化后试样表面的-CH2与-CH3基团含量上升。在1 730 cm-1处的特征吸收峰对应C=O的伸缩振动[17]。经VFTO老化后,该吸收峰的强度下降,证明在多次VFTO作用下,环氧树脂中的C=O基团受到破坏。在1 178 cm-1处的特征吸收峰对应C-O-C的对称伸缩振动[17]。经VFTO老化后,该吸收峰强度下降,表明环氧树脂中的醚键对VFTO较为敏感,VFTO老化后受到破坏。除上述4个化学键外,环氧树脂中其他化学结构的变化并未在红外光谱图中有所体现。
绝缘材料内部缺陷的变化可通过SEM断面图进行观测[18-19]图3为环氧树脂经VFTO老化前后断面的微观形貌。从图3(a)可以看出,老化前在观测区域内环氧树脂的断面比较光洁,仅在边缘处存在个别白色斑点(白色圈内)。环氧树脂在固化过程中,由于内部存在气体或存在固化放热、固化收缩等现象,固化后试样内部会存在气泡、缩孔等缺陷[18]。这些缺陷在SEM高倍镜下,显示出与环氧基体不一样的色泽[18]。因此认为,在图3(a)中出现的白色斑点为未老化试样内部的缺陷。经20 kV VFTO老化后,在图3(b)中可以发现,环氧树脂断面整体形貌并未发生变化,但观测区域内白色斑点数量明显增多。这表明经VFTO老化后,环氧树脂内部的缺陷明显增多。随着VFTO老化电压增大至40 kV,在图3(c)中可以发现,环氧树脂断面图中的白色缺陷进一步增多。由此可知,在VFTO老化作用下,环氧树脂内部会产生缺陷,且随着老化电压的提升,产生缺陷的数量增多。
聚合物的介电参数如介电常数、介质损耗因数(tanδ)等可反映电介质内部微观分子的运动行为和结构的变化。研究表明,老化对环氧树脂介电性能的影响可通过介电常数与介质损耗因数的变化体现出来[20-21]
图4为环氧树脂经不同电压等级VFTO老化前后的介电常数与介质损耗因数。从图4(a)可以发现,未老化环氧树脂的介电常数仅存在一个松弛过程,且介质损耗因数变化趋势较为单一,先随着频率的上升而上升,直至105 Hz后发生下降。对于经40 kV VFTO老化后的环氧树脂,其介电常数与介质损耗因数较老化前均发生了明显变化,其中介电常数在测试频段内出现了两个松弛过程,在高频段介电常数较未老化试样有一定幅度的提升,而在低频段与未老化试样的介电常数幅值基本相同。VFTO老化后,试样的介质损耗因数基本不变,但其频率响应特性却与老化前截然不同。老化后,随着频率的提升,试样的介质损耗因数呈现先上升后下降再上升再下降的趋势,存在两个损耗峰,进一步印证了在测试频段内,老化后环氧树脂内部存在两种松弛极化过程。
由红外结果可知,VFTO老化后环氧树脂的C-O-C键含量下降。C-O-C键主要位于环氧树脂分子的主链上[22],其含量下降表明在VFTO老化作用下,环氧树脂主链分子发生了分子链的裂解,从而产生小分子链段。与大分子链段相比,小分子链段更容易在电场作用下发生极化与偏转[23]。因此可认为,经40 kV VFTO老化后,环氧树脂在高频段出现新的极化是老化产生的小分子链段在电场作用下发生偏转所致。同时新的极化过程导致高频段的介电常数由4.10增大至4.22。
绝缘材料的电气强度表现为统计分布,根据GB/T 29310—2012,采用两参数Weibull分布模型对试样老化前后的击穿性能进行分析,其表达式如式(1)所示。

式(1)中:Pf为击穿概率,%;Eb为每次击穿试验的电气强度,kV/mm;α为尺度参数,用以表征材料的电气强度,其值为击穿概率为63.2%时试样的电气强度,kV/mm;β为形状参数,表征击穿数据的稳定性,数值越大表明稳定性越好。
环氧树脂的击穿试验结果如图5所示。从图5可以看出,VFTO老化后环氧树脂的电气强度显著下降,且随着VFTO老化电压的提高,试样电气强度下降的幅度增大。老化前后,环氧树脂击穿试验的Weibull参数见表1。由表1可知,老化前试样的电气强度为100.1 kV/mm,经20 kV与40 kV VFTO老化后,试样的电气强度分别下降到85.2 kV/mm和74.4 kV/mm,下降幅度为14.89%和25.67%。虽然VFTO老化导致环氧树脂的电气强度下降明显,但形状参数β显示,老化并未对环氧树脂击穿性能的稳定性产生规律性的影响。
从红外光谱、断面微观形貌及介电参数的试验结果可知,VFTO老化改变了环氧树脂表面的化学结构,使得其内部缺陷和松弛极化种类增多,最终导致环氧树脂的电气强度显著下降。
红外测试结果表明,经VFTO老化后,环氧树脂的主分子链发生断裂,并产生小分子链段,从而导致环氧树脂中缺陷显著增加与介电松弛行为发生变化。材料内部缺陷的增加会降低其电气强度,环氧树脂内部缺陷包括气泡、缩孔等,均会影响材料的电气强度[18]。由于缺陷处的介电常数或电导与聚合物基体存在差异,缺陷处的电场远大于介质内部的平均电场[18]。同时,气泡中气体的电气强度远低于固体电介质的电气强度,因此,在绝缘介质发生击穿之前,气泡处会先发生局部放电和闪络等现象[24],产生大量的载流子[25-26]。这些载流子(主要是电子)在外电场的作用下,在试样内部进行加速并撞击环氧分子,引发碰撞电离、电子倍增与电子雪崩,并最终引发放电与固体击穿。
对于未老化的环氧树脂试样,由于其内部缺陷较少,因此电气强度相对较高。而对于经VFTO老化后的试样,随着VFTO电压等级的提升,其内部缺陷增多,导致环氧树脂在1 000次VFTO老化后电气强度下降。当老化电压为20 kV与40 kV时,其电气强度分别下降了14.89%和25.67%。
(1)VFTO老化后,环氧树脂表面C-O-C键含量减少,C=O键含量减少,-CH2和-CH3键含量增多,表明在VFTO老化作用下,环氧主分子链发生断裂,生成了小分子链段。
(2)经VFTO老化后,随着电压等级的提升,环氧树脂内部缺陷数量不断增加。
(3)VFTO老化会改变环氧树脂的介电参数。经40 kV VFTO老化后,环氧树脂的介电常数与介质损耗因数的频率响应特性均发生变化,高频段介电常数由4.10增大至4.22,但介质损耗因数的幅值基本不变。
(4)经VFTO老化后,环氧树脂的电气强度显著下降。在20 kV与40 kV VFTO老化后,环氧树脂的电气强度分别下降了14.89%和25.67%。
