Acoustic signal is the key characteristic parameters for identifying partial discharges (PD) in power transformers. To address the limitations of conventional PD monitoring techniques, such as weak anti-electromagnetic interference and inability to achieve internal deployment, a fiber Bragg grating (FBG) with a frequency range of 5-60 kHz covering audible sound and low-frequency ultrasound was designed in this paper. The sensor was employed to monitor acoustic signal during the discharge process between column-column electrodes in transformer oil, and the frequency domain gravity center and audible acoustic energy proportion of acoustic signal were extracted. Further, the prepared sensor was embedded within a full-scale transformer to verify its monitoring effectiveness for the internal discharge sound signals of transformer. The results show that the dominant frequency bands of the column-column electrode discharge acoustic signals in transformer oil are within the range 5-10  kHz and 46-60  kHz, and the frequency domain gravity center and the audible acoustic energy proportion of the acoustic signal show a trend of increasing first and then decreasing with discharge severity. The proposed FBG sensor can effectively monitor the discharge development in the ±400 kV converter transformer.

声信号是变压器局部放电的关键特征参量。为克服现有变压器局部放电监测方法存在抗电磁干扰能力弱以及无法实现内置式布置的不足,本文设计出一种频率范围为5~60 kHz,覆盖可听声和低频超声的光纤光栅(FBG)传感器。利用该传感器对变压器油中柱-柱电极放电发展过程中的声信号进行测量,同时对声信号的频域重心与可听声能量占比进行提取。进一步将所研制的光纤光栅传感器布置在真型变压器中验证其对变压器内部放电声信号的监测效果。结果表明:变压器油中柱-柱电极放电声信号的主频带在5~10 kHz和46~60 kHz范围内,声信号的频域重心和可听声能量占比随放电严重程度均呈现先上升后下降的趋势;研制的光纤光栅传感器能够有效监测±400 kV真型换流变压器中放电的发展过程。

声信号是变压器局部放电的关键特征参量。为克服现有变压器局部放电监测方法存在抗电磁干扰能力弱以及无法实现内置式布置的不足,本文设计出一种频率范围为5~60 kHz,覆盖可听声和低频超声的光纤光栅(FBG)传感器。利用该传感器对变压器油中柱-柱电极放电发展过程中的声信号进行测量,同时对声信号的频域重心与可听声能量占比进行提取。进一步将所研制的光纤光栅传感器布置在真型变压器中验证其对变压器内部放电声信号的监测效果。结果表明:变压器油中柱-柱电极放电声信号的主频带在5~10 kHz和46~60 kHz范围内,声信号的频域重心和可听声能量占比随放电严重程度均呈现先上升后下降的趋势;研制的光纤光栅传感器能够有效监测±400 kV真型换流变压器中放电的发展过程。

Acoustic signal is the key characteristic parameters for identifying partial discharges (PD) in power transformers. To address the limitations of conventional PD monitoring techniques, such as weak anti-electromagnetic interference and inability to achieve internal deployment, a fiber Bragg grating (FBG) with a frequency range of 5-60 kHz covering audible sound and low-frequency ultrasound was designed in this paper. The sensor was employed to monitor acoustic signal during the discharge process between column-column electrodes in transformer oil, and the frequency domain gravity center and audible acoustic energy proportion of acoustic signal were extracted. Further, the prepared sensor was embedded within a full-scale transformer to verify its monitoring effectiveness for the internal discharge sound signals of transformer. The results show that the dominant frequency bands of the column-column electrode discharge acoustic signals in transformer oil are within the range 5-10  kHz and 46-60  kHz, and the frequency domain gravity center and the audible acoustic energy proportion of the acoustic signal show a trend of increasing first and then decreasing with discharge severity. The proposed FBG sensor can effectively monitor the discharge development in the ±400 kV converter transformer.

变压器是电能传输的关键节点,及时发现并预警其中的潜在故障,有助于运维人员及时干预,防止故障继续发展,从而保障变压器运行的安全性与稳定性[1-5]。当变压器内部绝缘劣化致使电弧放电时,如果保护装置灵敏度不足,无法立即动作,将导致故障进一步恶化。根据2013年CIGRE变压器工作组的统计数据[6],有超过一半的这类故障案例出现变压器油箱破裂、爆炸的严重结果。因此,构建一种实时高效的运行状态监测与故障预警方法,实现对变压器运行状态的有效实时监测,及时预警其内部故障,对保障变压器的稳定可靠运行具有重要的现实意义[7]
在变压器内部发生的放电由初期缺陷逐步演化至故障阶段的过程中会伴随有可听声与超声信号的产生[8-10]。声信号被认为是放电故障发生早期的关键预警特征。光纤光栅(fiber Bragg grating,FBG)以其绝缘性好、抗电磁干扰、质量轻以及体积小等优点,被广泛应用于传感领域[11-13]。近年来,光纤光栅在传感领域的应用取得了显著进展。2003年,美国学者P Fomitchov和S Krishnaswamy率先开展了针对流体与固体结构中声信号的光纤光栅探测研究[14],结果表明光纤光栅在频率为10 kHz~5 MHz范围内对声信号具有良好的感知能力。2017年,马宾等[15]将光纤光栅置于变压器油中实现了对变压器内局部放电声信号的在线监测。2019年,虞若雨[16]基于环形掺铒激光器设计了具有较宽频率响应范围的光纤光栅水听器系统,其信噪比约为50 dB,灵敏度可达到88.0 mV/MPa。
由于具备较强的抗电磁干扰特性及良好的定位性能,声波监测技术在局部放电监测领域逐渐成为研究热点。朱涛等[17]在110 kV真型变压器中布置3种悬浮放电缺陷,并分析了放电发展中脉冲电流、特高频和声信号的变化规律,结果表明基于声信号与特高频信号的联合诊断方法可对悬浮放电缺陷进行有效识别。秦少瑞等[18]分析了局部放电声波信号在变压器中的传播过程,同时采集了变压器内局部放电的超声信号。吕昊民等[19]测量了3种放电模型下局部放电发展过程中的可听声信号频谱特征,同时以可见光信号为辅助判据实现了变压器故障的识别。
目前对变压器局部放电的监测主要关注超声信号[20-22],但是随着局部放电程度的加剧,放电后期还会产生大量可听声信号。然而现有的光纤光栅传感器对可听声及低频超声的感知能力相对不足。因此,有必要研制覆盖可听声与超声的光纤光栅传感器并提取局部放电的声信号特征,从而更迅速、可靠地识别变压器内部放电程度,阻断放电故障的发展。
综上,本文研制一种用于油浸式变压器内部可同时监测可听声-低频超声的光纤光栅传感器,利用该传感器采集变压器油中柱-柱电极放电发展过程中的声信号并分析其特征变化规律。通过真型变压器放电声信号感知试验验证该传感器应用于真型变压器的可行性,同时根据声信号最大幅值变化对放电阶段进行划分。
根据光纤光栅的耦合模理论,外界物理量的扰动会使光栅的周期与折射率发生变化,导致Bragg波长漂移。考虑到声波主要通过轴向应力作用于光纤光栅,因此将其简化为瞬态正弦纵波模型[23]。假设声信号沿光纤z轴线传播,其声波方向与光纤法线一致,则在声波作用下,声波的应变(ε)、光纤光栅的有效折射率(neff )和中心波长(λB)可分别表示为式(1)[24-26]

式(1)中:εm为作用在光纤光栅上声波的幅值;λs为声波信号的波长;ωs为声波信号的角频率;Λ为光纤光栅的周期;z表示光纤光栅的轴向坐标;Δn表示光纤折射率最大调制系数;L表示光纤光栅的长度;P11、P12为光纤光栅的弹光系数;σ为光纤光栅的泊松比;t为时间。
由上述分析可得,对于结构参数已知的光纤光栅,其中心波长的变化只受声信号的应变幅值和角频率的影响。对于一般的石英光纤,P11=0.12,P12=0.275,σ=0.17,neff=1.456。则根据计算可知,光纤光栅的中心波长为1 550 nm时,一个10-6量级的微应变导致的波长偏移量约为1.2 pm。因此,利用光纤光栅实现对声信号的感知是可行的。
相比匹配滤波法而言,线性边缘滤波法具有光路结构简单、信噪比高等优点,因此本文基于线性边缘滤波法搭建光纤光栅声传感系统[27]图1为线性边缘滤波法的原理图,其中I表示光强度,λ0为激光器中心波长,λs为光纤光栅反射谱中心波长,λs为光纤光栅反射谱在声波作用下漂移后的中心波长。从图1可以看出,激光器的光谱宽度窄于光纤光栅,且位于光纤光栅反射光谱的线性区,当声信号使光栅中心波长漂移时,光纤光栅的反射光强(图中二者光谱的重叠区域)发生变化。当反射光进入光电探测器转化为电信号,就完成了声信号到电信号的转变。
当传感器安装于变压器内部时,受环境温度影响,光纤光栅的中心波长会发生漂移。然而,声波信号处于kHz频段,变压器内温度变化频率通常低于0.01 Hz,二者在频谱上完全分离,温度不会对感知声信号产生干扰。此外,运行经验表明,变压器稳态油温一般保持在40~90℃范围内,短时波动幅度有限,温度导致的中心波长漂移远小于光纤光栅200~300 pm的典型3 dB带宽,不足以使工作点偏离有效带宽或显著降低灵敏度。因此,所研光纤光栅传感器本身具有较强的温度干扰抑制能力。
图2为光纤光栅传感器整体结构的示意图。
图2可以看出,传感器主要由激光器、环形器、光电探测器、光纤光栅以及信号采集装置组成。激光器发出的光经环形器传输至光纤光栅,经反射后进入光电探测器转换为电压信号,最后由信号采集装置进行采集。
传感系统所用激光器工作波长为1 550 nm,输出光功率为0~20 mW可调。采用的光电探测器最大输出电压可达到10 V,增益最大为70 dB,可根据声信号的测量需要灵活调节。信号采集装置选用Keysight DSOX2022A型示波器,满足声信号采集要求。
光纤光栅栅区长度、反射率等参数对传感器性能影响显著。为获得较高的灵敏度和信噪比,选用栅区长度为10 mm、反射率为92%的光纤光栅。结合线性边缘滤波原理及器件参数计算,传感系统最大波长灵敏度约为0.032 V/pm,理论频率测量范围为5~60 kHz,可实现对局部放电可听声与超声信号的宽频带测量。
对光纤光栅传感器的灵敏度及温度抗干扰能力进行测试。通过测定光纤光栅传感器与已知灵敏度的压电式声传感器(型号为G40)对同一声信号的平均响应幅值,再经式(2)计算即可得到所研制光纤光栅传感器的相对标准灵敏度。

式(2)中:R1(fm)、R2(fm)分别表示光纤光栅传感器的灵敏度和G40声传感器的标准灵敏度;S1′(fm)、S2′(fm)分别表示光纤光栅传感器和G40声传感器所测电压幅值。
G40声传感器性能参数如表1所示。通过加热控制平台分别将光纤光栅传感器温度逐渐升高至40、80、120℃ 3个温度点进行分析,得到如图3所示灵敏度响应曲线。
图3可以看出,在40、80、120℃ 3个温度下,光纤光栅传感器灵敏度较大的频带均集中在22~46 kHz范围内,在此频带中传感器最大灵敏度均大于75 dB,对于60 kHz以上频段灵敏度呈下降趋势。随着温度的升高,传感器灵敏度并未出现明显变化,相较40℃下的灵敏度,80℃下灵敏度平均下降了2.98%,120℃下灵敏度平均下降了5.23%。结合表1可知,与现有G40声传感器相比,所研光纤光栅传感器具有更高的灵敏度。同时其受温度影响较小,这使得它可以适应变压器内部运行温度的变化。
光纤光栅传感器在40、80、120℃下灵敏度的峰值分别为96.2、94.6、93.6 dB,均值分别为77.4、75.3、74.1 dB,均高于行业标准中对声传感器灵敏度的规定(峰值≥60 dB,均值≥40 dB)[28]。因此,尽管传感器在不同频率和温度下灵敏度存在一定波动,但其仍满足局部放电声信号在线监测的需求。此外,高压放电参数变化波动大于传感器灵敏度的波动,因此对后续试验影响很小。
将KI25型克拉玛依变压器油首先置于85℃、100 Pa的真空干燥箱中24 h,再置于常温、100 Pa的真空干燥箱中24 h,变压器油完成初步处理。之后取出600 mL油样两份,其中一份放入12根长度为1 m的光纤光栅传感器,另外一份不放。然后将含光纤传感器和不含光纤传感器的变压器油样品置于鼓风干燥箱中,在温度为100℃的条件下进行为期200 h的加速老化试验。老化结束后,分别测试油样的含水量和介质损耗因数,并取其平均值作为评价老化程度的指标,结果如表2所示。由表2可以看出,变压器油在老化前后其含水率与介质损耗因数均出现明显变化。进一步比较含光纤传感器与不含光纤传感器的样品发现,两类油样在老化前后的性能指标差异甚微。基于试验结果可以判断:光纤传感器的引入并未对变压器油的性质造成影响,表明光纤光栅传感器在变压器油中具有良好的适应性与相容性。图4为光纤光栅传感器老化前后声信号响应灵敏度对比。从图4可以看出,老化前后光纤光栅传感器的响应灵敏度无明显差别,老化后相比老化前的灵敏度平均下降了2.09%,可以认为老化试验前后光纤光栅传感器的性能几乎无变化,验证了所研传感器与变压器油之间良好的长期相容性。
为验证所研制光纤光栅传感器对变压器内部放电监测的可行性,利用可听声传感器、超声传感器和所研制光纤光栅传感器三者同时进行变压器油中放电发展过程中声信号的测量。
图5(a)图5(b)分别为变压器油放电声信号感知试验平台的整体结构和所用柱-柱电极放电模型。试验平台由电源装置、放电模型以及声传感系统组成。其中,工频无晕试验变压器型号为YDTW-15/150,额定电压为150/0.22 kV,额定电流为0.1/68.2 A,额定功率为15 kVA;保护电阻阻值为10 kΩ;与试验腔体并联的高压电容器电容值为300 pF。电源装置在150 kV电压下放电量可稳定控制在3 pC以下。试验腔体由有机玻璃制成,高为30 cm,内、外径分别为16 cm和20 cm。本文选用的放电模型为柱-柱电极模型,油隙长度约为3 mm。
试验所用的KI25型变压器油提前经过过滤、干燥处理,处理后其微水含量≤10 mg/L,含气量≤1%。将光纤光栅传感器置于试验腔体内部并浸入油中,与电极间的距离约为5 cm。超声传感器安装在试验腔体外壁且位于光纤光栅传感器的正上方,使用超声耦合剂与腔体上表面耦合。可听声传感器距腔体外壁约8 cm。为减小声信号传播过程中衰减的影响,试验中放电模型与光纤光栅传感器、可听声传感器处于同一水平位置。采用阶梯升压法每1 min升高电压2 kV直至出现明显的火花放电现象。
本文所用可听声传感器和超声传感器为麦克风和压电陶瓷超声传感器,二者的性能参数如表3所示。试验中,光纤光栅传感器的光电探测器的增益设为30 dB。
试验过程中,随着外施电压的逐渐增大,会听到明显的放电声,在油中可观察到明显的火花,属于典型的油中火花放电特征。试验过程中观察到光纤光栅传感器输出电压信号的本底噪声幅值约为10 mV,为确保信号识别的可靠性,将信号幅值达到本底噪声幅值的2倍以上作为有效信号的判据。因此,当光纤光栅传感器输出电压幅值为25 mV时,记录3种声传感器的时域波形后通过傅里叶变换得到其频域波形,结果如图6所示。
图6(a)可以看出,火花放电可听声信号主要分布在0~10 kHz频率范围内,在频率为11.6 kHz以上时,可听声信号的分量强度显著减弱。从图6(b)可以看出,火花放电时测得的超声信号的频带主要分布在40~60 kHz范围内。从图6(c)可以看出,光纤光栅传感器测得的火花放电声信号的频带主要分布在0~10 kHz和40~60 kHz,监测到的声信号频带范围与可听声传感器和超声传感器所测声信号的频带范围基本吻合,验证了所研制光纤光栅传感器对放电所产生可听声与超声信号同时感知的可行性。
图7为利用所研制光纤光栅传感器测量的交流电压下柱-柱电极放电前期、中期和后期3个阶段的声信号典型频谱特征。
图7可以看出,在柱-柱电极放电前期,声信号频率主要分布在0~40 kHz范围内,以可听声与低频超声为主,此时整体放电幅值较小;在柱-柱电极放电中期,随着电压幅值增大和耐压时间增加,放电稳定发展,此时放电声信号频率主要分布在10~60 kHz范围内,声信号幅值明显增大;在柱-柱电极放电后期,放电声信号频率主要分布在20~60 kHz范围内,与放电中期相比声信号幅值进一步增大。对于可听声而言,在10~20 kHz区间内也有少量分布,而10 kHz以下的可听声信号几乎消失。
上述放电的3个阶段是依据时域声信号幅值增长斜率来划分的,声信号幅值增长斜率sk由式(3)计算。

式(3)中:A为时域声信号的幅值;tk为第k个采样点的时间。
图8为交流电压下柱-柱电极放电发展过程中声信号的频域重心与能量占比随时间的演变趋势。其中,频域重心是指声信号在频域中能量分布的加权平均位置,反映了声信号在频域中能量分布的集中趋势。设信号x(t)的傅里叶变换为X(f),其幅度谱为|X(f)|,则频域重心fc可由式(4)表示。

式(4)中:分子表示频率f与其对应幅值的加权和;分母表示全频段的总幅度。
能量占比Es是指频率为0~20 kHz可听声信号能量(E0~20 k)与20~60 kHz超声信号能量(E20~60 k)的比值,可由式(5)表示。

图8可以看出,在0~20 min时间段内频域重心均在40 kHz以下且缓慢上升,说明在0~20 min内声信号主频较低,此时可听声能量占比较小但整体呈现上升趋势。这一阶段放电尚未充分发展,放电能量较小,产生的声信号主要由局部的电场变化和少量的气体电离引起,因此声信号的频率集中在低频段。
随着放电的发展,在20~30 min时间段内频域重心呈现快速增长,说明声信号的频谱范围逐渐拓宽,声信号主频向高频段方向偏移。在此时间段内可听声能量占比激增,说明可听声信号能量增强,这与试验过程中人耳明显听到放电声音的现象吻合。在这一阶段,放电能量的增加,导致气体电离和振动加剧,声信号幅值增大,虽然同时引入了更多的高频分量,声信号频谱范围变宽,但是可听声能量占比增大,出现明显的可听声信号。
在30~44 min时间段内能量占比快速下降且频域重心略微下降,说明在放电后期声信号频谱主要集中在超声频段,可听声能量逐渐降低。此时,放电进入相对稳定的阶段,不同频率范围内的放电能量更加均匀。
在前文的探究中利用局部放电试验证明了光纤光栅传感器用于放电声信号监测的可行性。然而,变压器内部结构复杂,势必会对放电产生的声信号产生阻挡和衰减作用。因此将光纤光栅传感器置于±400 kV真型换流变压器中,同时在变压器内部设置放电缺陷,获得声信号特征的同时验证传感器用于变压器内部放电声信号监测的可行性。
±400 kV换流变压器上放电缺陷与传感器布置情况如图9所示。其中,针-板放电缺陷布置在换流变压器升高座处,如图9(a)所示。光纤光栅传感器通过安装在变压器侧壁上的贯通器布置在变压器内部,同时借助贯通器将光信号引出,布置光纤光栅传感器的贯通器如图9(b)所示。传感器距离放电缺陷的位置约为7.5 m。由于已在实验室中探究了稍不均匀场的柱-柱电极放电声信号特征,因此在变压器中采用如图9(c)所示极不均匀场的针-板缺陷模型进行放电模拟试验。同时可模拟实际变压器在制造、运输、安装和运行过程中出现局部缺陷导致变压器油中发生放电的情况。
采用阶梯升压法对变压器内部针-板缺陷放电声信号进行测试,升压间隔5 min,每次升压2 kV。试验中某次放电时传感器所测声信号时域波形及对应的频域波形如图10所示。从图10可以看出,本文研制的光纤光栅传感器时域信号具有较高的信噪比,对应的频域信号主频范围为5~60 kHz。在变压器中检测到的频带范围与实验室所测频带范围一致,进一步验证了所研光纤光栅传感器的声信号监测能力。
试验过程中光纤光栅传感器所测得时域声信号的最大幅值变化规律如图11所示。根据图11的结果,可将整个过程声信号变化分为无放电、微小能量放电、低能量放电、高能量放电4个阶段。在放电的3个阶段里,声信号最大幅值呈现缓慢增大-增大速度加快-激增的现象。在微小能量放电阶段,声信号最大幅值整体较小;在低能量放电阶段,声信号最大幅值整体呈现增大趋势且增长速度加快;在高能量放电阶段最大幅值出现激增,并且在击穿前出现声信号幅值回落的现象,紧接着在临近击穿前夕达到最大值。试验结果表明,所研制光纤光栅传感器可内置于大型变压器中且可实现对放电声信号的灵敏监测。
本文提出了一种变压器内置式可听声-超声信号的光学感知方法,同时研究了变压器油放电的声信号特征,主要结论如下:
(1)设计了基于光纤光栅的声传感器,测量频带范围为5~60 kHz,频率响应范围覆盖了可听声与超声信号,同时该传感器几乎不受温度的影响,且在变压器油环境中具有良好的适应性与相容性。
(2)变压器油中柱-柱电极放电的主频带在0~10 kHz和40~60 kHz范围内。在放电发展过程中,可听声-超声信号的频域重心逐渐增大然后减小,可听声能量占比在放电前期和中期持续增大,放电后期减小。
(3)在±400 kV真型换流变压器内部进行了放电声信号感知试验,根据时域声信号最大幅值将放电过程划分为微小能量放电,低能量放电及高能量放电3个阶段。同时验证了光栅光纤声传感器对变压器内放电声信号监测的有效性。
