In recent years, the continuous increase of voltage levels and operating frequency in the aviation power systems have made aviation cables more prone to arc discharges under low-pressure environments. To systematically evaluate the partial discharge inception voltage (PDIV) characteristics of aviation cables under different voltage parameters and low air pressures conditions, taking the sinusoidal voltages ranging from 50-800 Hz and repetitive square wave pulse voltage as excitation sources, the PDIVs of four kinds of cables discharge models in the air pressure of 20-101 kPa was tested in this paper. The results show that the PDIV under square wave voltage is lower than that under the sinusoidal voltage, indicating that the square wave voltage is more likely to trigger partial discharge, which may be attributed to the sharp increase of the electric field intensity due to its steep rising edge, and the harmonic superposition effect aggravates the electron impact ionization process. Under low pressure, the decrease in molecular density and the increase in electron free path enhance the ionization, resulting in a downward trend of PDIV with the reduction of air pressure and a significant increase in the risk of insulation breakdown. However, the frequency has a relatively small impact on PDIV, because the accumulation and dissipation time of air gap charge is much shorter than the power frequency period, and the discharge is mainly determined by the electric field intensity. Among the four kinds of cable discharge models, the PDIV of the twisted-pair cable discharge model is always the highest. This is due to its double insulation, which significantly increases the equivalent thickness and weakens the air gap electric field, thus exhibiting stronger insulation endurance under both sinusoidal and pulse conditions.

近年来,航空电力系统电压水平和工作频率持续提升,使航空线缆在低气压环境下更易发生电弧放电现象。为系统评估航空线缆在不同电压参数与低气压条件下的局部放电起始电压(PDIV)特性,本文采用50~800 Hz的正弦电压及重复方波脉冲电压作为激励源,在气压为20~101 kPa条件下测量4种线缆放电模型的PDIV。结果表明:方波电压下的PDIV低于正弦电压,说明方波电压更易触发局部放电,这可能归因于其陡峭的上升沿使电场强度骤增,以及谐波叠加效应加剧电子碰撞电离过程;低气压下分子密度减小、电子自由行程增大使电离增强,导致PDIV随气压降低呈下降趋势,绝缘击穿风险显著增加;而频率对PDIV的影响较小,因为气隙电荷积累和耗散时间远小于工频周期,放电主要由电场强度决定。4种线缆放电模型中,双绞线结构线缆放电模型的PDIV始终最高,这是由于其双层绝缘显著增加了等效厚度并削弱气隙电场,从而在正弦与脉冲条件下均表现出更强的绝缘耐受能力。
