Aiming at the refining and regeneration issues of retired transformer insulating oil, we used catalytic hydrogenation to decolorize retired transformer oil. Based on this, polyethylene glycol modified chitosan adsorption process was used to remove corrosive sulfur and heavy metal copper ions, and achieve the regeneration of retired transformer oil. The results show that when the catalytic hydrogenation temperature is 220℃, the reaction pressure is 4 MPa, and the volume ratio of hydrogen to oil is 300∶1, the retired transformer oil can achieve decolorization. The self-made modified chitosan-polyethylene glycol composite adsorbent material (CS-PEG) can quickly remove the corrosive sulfur and metal copper ions from oil samples. After being treated by this process, the retired transformer oil becomes transparent, its acid value decreases to 0.003 mg(KOH)/g, the breakdown voltage reaches 45 kV, and the dielectric loss factor drops below 0.001. This process has good potential for application.

针对退役变压器绝缘油的精制及再生问题,本文通过催化加氢法对退役变压器油进行脱色处理,在此基础上采用聚乙二醇改性壳聚糖吸附工艺去除腐蚀性硫和重金属铜离子,实现退役变压器油的再生。结果表明:当催化加氢温度为220℃、反应压力为4 MPa、氢油体积比为300∶1时,可使退役变压器油达到脱色目的;利用自制的改性壳聚糖-聚乙二醇的复合吸附材料(CS-PEG)可快速脱除油样中的腐蚀性硫和金属铜离子。利用本工艺处理退役变压器油,可使油品透明,酸值降至0.003 mg(KOH)/g,击穿电压值可达45 kV,介质损耗因数降至0.001以下,该工艺具有良好的应用潜力。

针对退役变压器绝缘油的精制及再生问题,本文通过催化加氢法对退役变压器油进行脱色处理,在此基础上采用聚乙二醇改性壳聚糖吸附工艺去除腐蚀性硫和重金属铜离子,实现退役变压器油的再生。结果表明:当催化加氢温度为220℃、反应压力为4 MPa、氢油体积比为300∶1时,可使退役变压器油达到脱色目的;利用自制的改性壳聚糖-聚乙二醇的复合吸附材料(CS-PEG)可快速脱除油样中的腐蚀性硫和金属铜离子。利用本工艺处理退役变压器油,可使油品透明,酸值降至0.003 mg(KOH)/g,击穿电压值可达45 kV,介质损耗因数降至0.001以下,该工艺具有良好的应用潜力。

Aiming at the refining and regeneration issues of retired transformer insulating oil, we used catalytic hydrogenation to decolorize retired transformer oil. Based on this, polyethylene glycol modified chitosan adsorption process was used to remove corrosive sulfur and heavy metal copper ions, and achieve the regeneration of retired transformer oil. The results show that when the catalytic hydrogenation temperature is 220℃, the reaction pressure is 4 MPa, and the volume ratio of hydrogen to oil is 300∶1, the retired transformer oil can achieve decolorization. The self-made modified chitosan-polyethylene glycol composite adsorbent material (CS-PEG) can quickly remove the corrosive sulfur and metal copper ions from oil samples. After being treated by this process, the retired transformer oil becomes transparent, its acid value decreases to 0.003 mg(KOH)/g, the breakdown voltage reaches 45 kV, and the dielectric loss factor drops below 0.001. This process has good potential for application.

变压器油是支撑电网向更大规模、更高电压等级发展的关键基础材料,但随着使用年限逐步增长、运行温度高、空气氧化、金属溶解、电场作用等条件的影响,电力绝缘油会逐渐劣化。而绝缘油内的分解产物、水分或各类杂质含量逐步上升,也会导致绝缘性能下降。为保障电力设备与电网的安全稳定运行,需依据电力绝缘油劣化程度进行更换[1]。因此,开展变压器绝缘油精制关键技术及应用研究,不仅有助于保障电力设备与电网设施的安全稳定运行,有利于加速再生绝缘油走向实际应用,同时对于缓解资源与环境压力、推动电网绿色可持续发展具有重要意义[2-4]
在绝缘油的精制处理过程中,利用氢气作为还原气体,在催化剂的协助下,能使油品中的含氮、含氧等非烃类化合物发生脱氮、脱氧的反应,有机金属化合物发生氢解反应,烯烃发生加氢饱和反应,部分芳烃发生加氢饱和反应[5-7]。退役变压器油中含有的全部氧、少量的氮可以通过条件较为缓和的催化加氢处理进行去除;而苛刻的加氢处理能将油中含有的芳香烃去除,降低油品的色度[8]。虽然加氢处理成本较高,操作要求较为严苛,但具有收率高、脱色效果好、氧化稳定性好、污染物排放少等优点。
变压器油中存在的腐蚀性含硫成分,会造成绕组和铜件的腐蚀,形成导电性强的硫化铜,其与高温分解物结合会生成带电胶质颗粒,使绝缘油的介质损耗因数升高,甚至使变压器出现击穿的可能[9]。针对此问题,许多文献报道了可通过添加金属钝化剂、溶剂萃取以及物理吸附等方法进行除杂[10-13]。其中,吸附法是一种高效简便的除杂方法,广泛应用于油品除杂、水处理等领域[14]。单清雯等[15]选用N-甲基二烯丙基胺与金属酞菁合成功能化离子液体单体,并以硅胶球为载体,在载体表面聚合单体,制备具有硅胶球负载的功能化离子液体吸附材料,通过吸附油中有机硫杂质,展示了该材料对二苯并噻吩具有良好的除杂能力。陈虎剑等[16]制备了壳聚糖-海泡石复合材料用于吸附废油中的铜离子,由于壳聚糖分子内活泼氨基和羟基能与金属离子发生络合,同时以硅镁氧化物为主的海泡石具有较大的比表面积,使其吸附处理后的废油中铜离子浓度降低了73.1%。刘庆[17]利用凹凸棒土表面上的硅醇基团与壳聚糖之间的静电吸引作用使壳聚糖负载于凹凸棒土表面,形成壳聚糖改性的凹凸棒土复合吸附材料,该吸附材料可用于再生变压器油的净化,使其酸值、色度、介质损耗因数等参数达到新油标准。
基于催化加氢方法与壳聚糖吸附材料的优异表现,本文采用催化加氢的方法对退役变压器油进行精制脱色,并以聚乙二醇钠改性的壳聚糖吸附材料脱除劣化绝缘油内的腐蚀性硫和重金属离子,以实现退役绝缘油的精制和再生目的。通过对联合精制工艺处理后的退役绝缘油进行电气性能测定,探索该工艺在退役绝缘油再生领域潜在的实际应用价值。

加氢反应器,自制;S8tiger型X射线荧光光谱仪,德国布鲁克公司;WYA-2W型阿贝折射仪,上海仪电(集团)有限公司;PinAAcle 900T型原子吸收光谱仪,珀金埃尔默股份有限公司;JSM-200型扫描电子显微镜,日本电子株式会社;RE-52A型减压蒸馏装置,江苏荣力普科学仪器有限公司;DF101S型集热式恒温加热搅拌器,析牛(北京)科技有限责任公司;DZF-6021型鼓风烘箱,上海一恒科学仪器有限公司。
对退役绝缘油的色度、酸值、杂质含量、电气性能进行测试,分析再生处理前油品的理化性质与电气性能参数。色度、折光率、酸值、介质损耗因数及击穿电压分别按照GB/T 6540—1986、GB/T 6488—2022、NB/SH/T 0836—2010、GB/T 5654—2007及GB/T 507—2002进行测试。腐蚀性硫二苄基二硫醚和铜离子浓度分别通过X射线荧光光谱仪与原子吸收光谱仪测定。
采用催化加氢方法对退役变压器油进行脱色、脱氧、脱氮处理。图1为绝缘油催化加氢再生工艺的流程图,退役绝缘油经过滤机过滤油中的碳粒等固体杂质,后经加热炉加热进入催化加氢反应器,在Ni-Mo-W系列催化剂的作用下,通过加氢反应脱除变压器油中的极性化合物。加氢产物经过高压分离塔和常压蒸发塔可脱除加氢反应过程中生成的气体和轻质组分,得到再生变压器油。
为了优化催化加氢反应的操作条件,研究不同反应压力、反应温度、氢气与油的体积比等条件对退役绝缘油处理结果的影响。分别以不同反应温度(180、220、260℃)、反应压力(1、2、4、6 MPa)、氢油体积比(200∶1、300∶1、500∶1)为操作参数,对绝缘油进行控制变量试验,获得优化后的催化反应条件,并在此条件下降低绝缘油色度。
最后采用吸附法对绝缘油进行二次除杂,针对催化加氢处理后的退役绝缘油中仍含有较高的腐蚀性硫和重金属离子浓度,采用聚乙二醇改性壳聚糖吸附剂进行深度脱硫,并去除金属杂质离子,实现退役变压器油的再生。聚乙二醇改性壳聚糖吸附剂的制备过程如下:取50 g聚乙二醇(PEG,摩尔质量M=400 g/mol)和10 g氢氧化钠固体倒入烧瓶,在100℃下搅拌2 h,即可制成棕黄色的聚乙二醇钠,然后在完全冷却前将多孔壳聚糖材料(CS)浸入其中, 5 min后取出,冷却后得到聚乙二醇钠修饰的壳聚糖吸附材料CS-PEG。
表1为退役绝缘油的理化性质。
表1可以看出,退役变压器油在再生处理前,酸值为0.15 mg(KOH)/g,高于GB 2536—2011中小于0.01 mg(KOH)/g的要求;介质损耗因数为0.035,远高于GB 2536—2011中小于0.005的要求;击穿电压为27 kV,远低于IEC 60296:2020中的新油标准。其次,退役变压器油中还含有大量腐蚀性硫杂质和金属杂质离子,为了定量研究再生处理对两者的脱除效果,本研究选取二苄基二硫醚和金属铜离子分别作为代表性杂质。经测定退役变压器油在再生处理前的二苄基二硫醚含量为803 μg/g,金属铜离子含量为4.1 μg/g。
设恒定反应压力为4 MPa,氢油体积比为500∶1,研究反应温度分别为180、220、260℃时,加氢处理操作对退役绝缘油的脱色效果,结果如图2所示。从图2可以看出,随着反应温度的增加,加氢处理后的绝缘油色度明显降低。当反应温度为180℃时,加氢处理的绝缘油色度为2.0,有明显脱色作用;反应温度为220℃时,色度降至0.3,基本可将致色物去除;当反应温度上升至260℃时,色度基本为0。此外,退役绝缘油的折光率也随着反应温度的增加而降低,表明杂质可通过加氢去除。以上结果表明,反应温度升高后,有利于提高加氢反应速率,不仅加快芳烃的饱和化反应,还加快脱氮、脱氧过程。经过综合分析,过高的温度会导致碳氢化合物裂化等副反应增加,不利于氢化油的氧化稳定性。因此采用220℃反应温度更加合适。
设反应温度为220℃,氢油体积比为500∶1,考察反应压力分别为1、2、4、6 MPa时对退役绝缘油的催化加氢处理效果,结果如图3所示。从图3可以看出,当反应压力仅为1 MPa时,经过催化加氢后绝缘油的色度已经由初始色度3.5降为1.0。当反应压力从1 MPa升高至4 MPa时,绝缘油的颜色与水无明显差别,色度为0.2。当反应压力继续上升至 6 MPa时,其色度非常接近0,基本实现完全脱色。此外,绝缘油折光率也随着反应压力的升高而降低,这主要是由于压力升高后,加氢处理的芳烃饱和化反应会增加,氧化产物也会因为加氢处理而脱氧,从而降低了退役绝缘油的色度和折光率。为了降低加氢处理的操作难度,减少操作费用,延长催化剂使用寿命,选定催化加氢处理压力为4 MPa。
设反应压力为4 MPa,反应温度为220℃,考察氢油体积比分别为200∶1、300∶1、500∶1时对退役绝缘油的加氢处理效果,结果如图4所示。从图4可以看出,随着氢油体积比的增大,加氢后绝缘油的色度值减小,说明颜色变浅。当氢油体积比为200∶1时,绝缘油的色度可迅速降低至0.5,折光率降低至1.48,展现出良好的加氢脱色效果。随着氢油体积比上升至500∶1,绝缘油的色度值已接近为0,颜色几乎与纯水相同。但综合考虑到能源消耗与经济合理性,氢油体积比选用300∶1作为最优值,此时的色度值较低,为0.3。
通过上述研究,确定优化后的操作条件如下:反应压力为4 MPa、反应温度为220℃、氢油体积比为300∶1。在该操作条件下,利用催化加氢对退役变压器绝缘油进行再生处理,处理后的绝缘油色度为0.5、折光率为1.479、酸值为0.009 mg(KOH)/g,但与原始的退役绝缘油相比,腐蚀性硫二苄基二硫醚含量仍有295 μg/g,金属铜离子含量为3.8 μg/g。
对于退役变压器油的吸附除杂过程,可以将CS-PEG放入油中吸附后再通过简单的固液分离获得处理后的绝缘油,使固体吸附剂不会残留在油中,如图5所示。在吸附处理过程中CS-PEG吸附剂添加量为油样质量的20%,处理温度为60℃。经过2 h的吸附处理后,利用抽滤法去除油样中的吸附剂,获得再生绝缘油。测定再生绝缘油样中的腐蚀性硫含量浓度已经降至0,金属铜离子浓度降至0.3 μg/g。这是由于复合吸附剂中壳聚糖具有较多的氨基和羟基,可以与绝缘油中的金属离子络合,使其浓度降低;同时,聚乙二醇钠能够与腐蚀性硫化物发生反应,达到将其除去的目的。
为了进一步验证该吸附剂对退役绝缘油的脱硫效果,分别将铜片放入CS-PEG吸附前后的绝缘油中(二苄基二硫醚含量为295 μg/g)进行腐蚀性测试,一段时间后观察铜片颜色,结果如图6所示。从图6可以看出,铜片在加氢处理后、CS-PEG吸附前的退役绝缘油中发生了显著变化,不仅表面变得非常粗糙、失去了金属光泽,而且腐蚀严重,中间部位颜色变为孔雀绿并伴有灰色;而铜片浸泡在经过CS-PEG吸附后的绝缘油中后,铜片表面与原铜片相比无明显的变化。因此,可以推断CS-PEG能够脱除绝缘油中的腐蚀性硫,使铜片保持原有红色的未腐蚀状态。利用扫描电镜对3份铜片进行微观形貌分析,从图6中可以看出,浸泡在CS-PEG吸附前的退役绝缘油中的铜片表面出现被硫化物腐蚀后产生的黑色纹理(图6(b)),而浸泡在吸附后油样中的铜片(图6(c))因为硫化物的去除,表面仍保持原有清晰纹理,未出现被腐蚀的黑色纹理,验证了CS-PEG能够脱除绝缘油中的腐蚀性硫。
为了对比本工艺与传统白土吸附法处理退役绝缘油的效果,采用活化后的活性白土作为吸附剂处理退役变压器油(操作条件与CS-PEG的吸附除杂过程相同),结果如表2所示。
表2可知,退役绝缘油经过本工艺再生处理后,色度为0.2,油品变为清澈透明,酸值为0.003 mg(KOH)/g,击穿电压值达到45 kV,介质损耗因数降到0.001以下,其余指标与新油基本相符,基本符合运行电力变压器油的要求,且各种性能指标稳定。经过活性白土处理后的绝缘油色度降至1.5,酸值降至0.042 mg(KOH)/g,介质损耗因数降至0.025 3,击穿电压提高至32 kV,尽管较退役绝缘油再生处理前的理化性质和电气性能有所提升,但效果仍远低于本工艺处理的效果。结果表明催化加氢-吸附精制工艺在退役绝缘油的再生处理方面具有明显的技术优势。
(1)本文采用催化加氢-吸附精制工艺对退役绝缘油中的杂质进行处理,确定了催化加氢反应温度、反应压力和氢油体积比的综合最优参数分别为220℃、4 MPa和300∶1;利用聚乙二醇改性壳聚糖吸附剂CS-PEG,基本成功去除了退役绝缘油中的劣化产物二苄基二硫醚腐蚀性硫、金属铜离子等杂质。本工艺处理后的绝缘油清澈透明,酸值降至0.003 mg(KOH)/g,击穿电压值为45 kV,介质损耗因数小于0.001。
(2)本工艺采用催化加氢法与吸附法相结合的手段,贯序处理退役变压器油,能针对致色有机物、腐蚀性硫和金属离子等杂质分别开展除杂处理,实现了退役变压器油的精制和再生,避免了传统吸附法中脱色效果差、吸附剂再生等问题。
(3)本工艺不仅节省了变压器换油工作成本,消除了变压器运行中腐蚀硫等安全隐患,而且减少了废弃物的排放,对环保具有重要意义。在此基础上,未来可尝试将催化加氢工艺与吸附除杂工艺进行耦合,实现该工艺的简化和设备的一体化,并继续开展该工艺条件参数优化的研究工作。
