The main insulation of large motor will produce many kinds of insulation defects during its operation process, and only used the phase resolved partial discharge (PRPD) pattern cannot reflect the characteristics of the defects fully. In this paper, four typical insulation defects such as internal air gap, coil wear in slot, overlapping part fault of end semiconductor coating and anti corona layer, and surface contamination were simulated in laboratory, their partial discharge (PD) information were collected in the electromagnetic shielding chamber, and the PRPD patterns and PSA patterns were drawn respectively. Combined with the characteristics of PRPD and PSA patterns under different voltage levels, the discharge characteristics of the typical insulation defects were analyzed. The results show that considering the symmetry, discharge amplitude, spectrum envelope shape of PRPD pattern and the discharge cluster number, discharge cluster distribution position, discharge cluster shape of PSA pattern, the four typical insulation defects can be identified accurately.

大电机主绝缘在运行过程中会产生多种绝缘缺陷,仅利用局部放电相位(PRPD)谱图无法全面反映绝缘缺陷的特性。本文在实验室环境下模拟了内部气隙、槽内线圈磨损、端部半导体涂层及防晕层交叠部位故障、表面污染等4种典型的绝缘缺陷,并在屏蔽室提取其放电信息,分别绘制PRPD谱图及脉冲序列分析(PSA)谱图,结合不同电压等级下PRPD谱图及PSA谱图特性,对典型绝缘缺陷的放电特征进行分析。结果表明:综合考虑PRPD谱图的对称性、放电幅值、谱图包络线形状等特性及PSA谱图的放电簇数量、放电簇分布位置、放电簇形状等特性,可以较为准确地对4种典型绝缘缺陷进行识别。

大电机主绝缘在运行过程中会产生多种绝缘缺陷,仅利用局部放电相位(PRPD)谱图无法全面反映绝缘缺陷的特性。本文在实验室环境下模拟了内部气隙、槽内线圈磨损、端部半导体涂层及防晕层交叠部位故障、表面污染等4种典型的绝缘缺陷,并在屏蔽室提取其放电信息,分别绘制PRPD谱图及脉冲序列分析(PSA)谱图,结合不同电压等级下PRPD谱图及PSA谱图特性,对典型绝缘缺陷的放电特征进行分析。结果表明:综合考虑PRPD谱图的对称性、放电幅值、谱图包络线形状等特性及PSA谱图的放电簇数量、放电簇分布位置、放电簇形状等特性,可以较为准确地对4种典型绝缘缺陷进行识别。

The main insulation of large motor will produce many kinds of insulation defects during its operation process, and only used the phase resolved partial discharge (PRPD) pattern cannot reflect the characteristics of the defects fully. In this paper, four typical insulation defects such as internal air gap, coil wear in slot, overlapping part fault of end semiconductor coating and anti corona layer, and surface contamination were simulated in laboratory, their partial discharge (PD) information were collected in the electromagnetic shielding chamber, and the PRPD patterns and PSA patterns were drawn respectively. Combined with the characteristics of PRPD and PSA patterns under different voltage levels, the discharge characteristics of the typical insulation defects were analyzed. The results show that considering the symmetry, discharge amplitude, spectrum envelope shape of PRPD pattern and the discharge cluster number, discharge cluster distribution position, discharge cluster shape of PSA pattern, the four typical insulation defects can be identified accurately.

大电机作为将电能转化为机械能的一种重要设备,广泛应用于矿山、化工、石油等重要工业领域,其发生故障不仅会损坏电机本身,还会导致严重的经济及环境问题[1-2]。20世纪80年代由美国电力科学院资助的针对7 500台大型异步电动机故障因素的研究表明,约37%的电机故障与定子绕组有关[3]。因此,及时、准确地对定子绕组绝缘状态进行检测对保证电动机的安全运行具有重要意义。
电机在运行过程中,其主绝缘经常遭受热、电、环境和机械等多种应力的影响[4-12],这些应力会加速绝缘系统的老化,从而产生各种绝缘缺陷,进而导致局部放电(PD)的发生[13-15]。通过局部放电检测可以及时发现主绝缘中潜在的绝缘缺陷,局部放电相位(PRPD)谱图自19世纪70年代提出以来,已经成为局部放电特征分析及模式识别的重要手段之一。然而,PRPD谱图是用来表征一段时间内放电相位与放电强度的累计特征,并未考虑连续放电脉冲之间的关系。为了弥补这一不足之处,本研究采用了脉冲序列分析(PSA)来构建放电谱图,进而分析连续放电脉冲之间的关系。PSA是通过分析相邻放电脉冲之间关系来构建放电谱图,可以更好地解释放电过程中的电荷变化[16]。该方法是由R PATSCH于上世纪90年代提出的一种PD数据分析方法,通过脉冲序列分析,可以更精确地表征局部缺陷[17]。近年来,国内学者在利用PSA谱图分析局部放电特性方面也进行了一些研究。蒲路等[18]基于PSA谱图分析的XLPE电缆附件中的局部放电特性,并利用落点概率对不同缺陷进行了识别。LIN L Y等[19]利用PSA谱图分析了定子绕组槽外PD抑制涂层界面表面电痕放电的发展和放电特性。
本文以10 kV电动机定子线圈为研究对象,通过提取典型绝缘缺陷局部放电信号,分别绘制传统的局部放电PRPD谱图及PSA谱图,并基于两种谱图分析典型绝缘缺陷的局部放电特性。
采用若干根全新的10 kV电动机定子线圈作为试验对象,绝缘耐热等级为155级(F),其主绝缘厚度为2.04 mm,线圈实物如图1所示。试验开始前,先对试验线圈进行目测检查,确保其表面绝缘没有破损;然后用无水酒精对其表面进行擦拭,以去除灰尘及残余电荷;最后对线圈施加15 kV的交流电压,持续时间为30 min,观察其放电谱图,若其内部放电谱图的正负半周对称,则说明试验线圈绝缘性能良好[20]。测试合格的定子线圈则作为试验线圈,以进行后续绝缘缺陷的制作,同时,为了避免在试验过程中存在干扰放电,对每根试验线圈仅制作一种绝缘缺陷,并将制作好绝缘缺陷的定子线圈嵌入定子铁心内进行局部放电采集。
本文在实验室环境下对线圈制作了典型的绝缘缺陷:内部气隙、槽内线圈磨损、端部半导体涂层及防晕层交叠部位故障、表面污染。
定子线圈在制作缺陷过程中会不可避免地存在气隙,由于气隙的介电常数远低于周围绝缘材料的介电常数,在电应力作用下,气隙首先被击穿,该击穿形成的局部放电称为内部放电。随着绝缘材料性能绕组制作工艺水平的提高,通常情况下定子线圈能够耐受数十年的内部放电活动而绝缘性能不发生明显劣化[21]。因此,直接将新绕制好的定子线圈嵌入定子铁心内,即可模拟内部气隙故障。
电动机在运行过程中,定子绕组会遭受频率为100 Hz的机械振动,若定子线圈固定不牢,则其的绝缘结构与定子铁心之间会产生相对运动,槽内叠片的边缘会磨损主绝缘表面,导致线圈表面与铁心槽壁之间产生气隙,在外施电压作用下,气隙处会产生局部放电[22],这种因槽内线圈磨损而形成的局部放电称为槽放电。根据上述故障机理,通过对线圈直线部分表面的半导电涂层进行磨损来模拟槽内线圈磨损故障,从而诱发槽放电。本试验对完好线圈直线部位进行磨损,模型如图2所示。
为了抑制10 kV电动机定子线圈槽部的表面局部放电,通常在定子线圈的槽部涂覆半导体涂层,由于涂层电阻足够小,涂层表面的电压为零。同时,为了抑制及改善定子绕组端部电场,在定子线圈出槽口及向端部延伸的几厘米处涂覆由碳化硅制成的防晕层。如果在运行过程中防晕层及半导体涂层的交叠部位发生故障,那么定子绕组端部在电容耦合作用下产生接近于线圈铜导体的高电压,导致交叠部位的气隙被击穿,进而导致局部放电的产生[23]。这种因交叠部位故障而形成的局部放电通常称为电晕放电。根据上述故障机理,通过对线圈半导体涂层和防晕层交叠部位进行破坏来模拟该故障,从而诱发电晕放电。本文对完好的线圈端部半导体涂层和防晕层交叠部位进行磨损,模型如图3所示。
电机在运行过程中会进入灰尘、粉尘等形成脏污,这些脏污与空气中的潮气或轴承泄漏的油形成具有一定导电性的污染物,污染物附着在定子绕组表面形成爬电。在外施电压作用下,爬电电流会引起主绝缘劣化,并最终导致绝缘故障[24]。这种因表面污染而形成的局部放电称为表面放电。根据上述故障机理,通过对线圈端部进行涂抹污染物来模拟该故障,从而诱发表面放电。本文在线圈端部表面涂抹润滑油与石墨混合而成的污染物来模拟该故障,模型如图4所示。
本试验采用脉冲电流法提取局部放电信号,信号采集系统如图5所示。其中,试验所需工频高压由一台100 kV/10 kVA的充气式无局放试验变压器提供,限流电阻为20 kΩ的水电阻,局部放电信号通过容量为1 000 pF的耦合电容器采集,采集频率为100~400 kHz。由于局部放电信号为微弱的电流信号,容易受到噪声的干扰,且环境温度及湿度的变化对局部放电信号影响较大,因此,本文所有局部放电信号采集均在电磁屏蔽室中进行,且保持屏蔽室内的温度为25℃、湿度为40%。
图6为试验线圈在电压为4 kV下内部放电、电晕放电及槽放电的PRPD谱图。从图6可以看出,内部放电的PRPD谱图呈现正负半周基本对称的现象,最大放电量约为40 pC,谱图包络线呈现为椭圆形;电晕放电呈现明显的正负半周不对称现象,且电压负半周的放电量明显高于电压正半周的放电量,最大放电量可达到4 000 pC,电晕放电谱图包络线虽然也呈现为椭圆形,但与内部放电相比,其包络线更为尖锐;槽放电的PRPD谱图同样呈现正负半周不对称的现象,其最大放电量可达到2 500 pC,然而,与电晕放电不同的是,槽放电电压负半周的谱图包络线呈现为三角形。
图7为试验线圈在电压为10 kV下内部放电、电晕放电及槽放电的PRPD谱图。从图7可以看出,随着电压的升高,内部放电活动变得剧烈,最大放电量和放电次数都有明显的增加。此外,随着电压的升高,不同放电类型的起始放电相位均发生左移,发生放电的相位区域变宽。内部放电的谱图包络线仍为正负半周对称的椭圆形,最大放电量增大到700 pC;电晕放电的PRPD谱图仍呈现明显的正负半周不对称现象,但谱图包络线相较4 kV时变得平滑,负半周最大放电量可达到25 000 pC;槽放电的PRPD谱图同样呈现明显的正负半周不对称现象,但电压负半周谱图包络线的几何外形发生明显变化,由电压为4 kV时的三角形变为了四边形,负半周最大放电量可达到5 000 pC。
图8为不同电压等级下试验线圈的表面放电PRPD谱图。从图8可以看出,表面放电的起始放电电压明显高于其他局部放电类型的起始放电电压,本试验中,电压达到8 kV时才观察到明显的表面放电现象,其PRPD谱图特征表现为在相位为30°及210°附近出现高耸的垂直于相位轴的放电簇,其最大放电量约为600 pC。产生表面放电的同时伴随着电晕放电,但是由于端部防晕层的存在,电晕放电量较小,约为300 pC。当电压达到18 kV时,电压正半周表面放电幅值可达到10 000 pC,放电簇变得发散,相位介于30°~60°之间,同时伴随着强烈的电晕放电;电压负半周谱图呈现为电晕放电特征,其最大放电量可达到8 000 pC。
PSA谱图所构建的基础是当前局部放电脉冲会改变后续放电脉冲的起始条件,因此局部电场及连续放电事件之间所经过的时间是建立PSA谱图的两个重要参数。R PATSCH等[25]详细地构建了当局部放电发生时PSA物理模型及相关参数的变化过程。
PSA谱图依据相邻放电事件之间的关系,可以分为Δu谱图、Δt谱图及Δut谱图。本文为了描述相邻放电事件之间的时间关系,绘制了线圈缺陷的Δt谱图。
图9为试验线圈在电压为4 kV下内部放电、电晕放电及槽放电的PSA谱图。从图9可以看出,内部放电的Δt谱图由5个放电簇组成,位于中央的放电簇1所包含的脉冲数量最多,占总脉冲数量的69.5%,周边的4个放电簇所包含的脉冲较少。此外,放电簇内的放电散点较为集中,各放电簇之间的界线明显,不存在相互交叉的现象;与内部放电相比,电晕放电的Δt谱图则不同,主要表现在3个方面:首先,电晕放电Δt谱图由6个放电簇组成,分别是位于边界处的3个放电簇及位于第一象限内的3个放电簇,且放电簇内的放电散点较为集中,各放电簇之间的界线明显,没有拖尾现象;其次,位于第一象限内的3个放电簇外观包络线呈现三角形,但各放电簇之间没有相互连接;最后,在脉冲数量上,第一象限内的放电簇所包含的脉冲最多,占总脉冲的98.4%,边界处放电簇仅包含了极少量的脉冲。槽放电的Δt谱图特性主要表现在2个方面:首先,放电谱图由3个放电簇组成,放电簇1外观包络线呈现三角形,且包络线相互连接,放电簇2和放电簇3由放电数量多、分布较为集中的头部及放电数量少、分布狭长的拖尾组成;其次,在脉冲数量上,放电簇1所包含的脉冲数量最多,占总脉冲的96.8%,放电簇2和放电簇3包含的脉冲较少。
图10为试验线圈在电压为10 kV下内部放电、电晕放电及槽放电的PSA谱图。从图10可以看出,随着电压的升高,放电活动变得剧烈,相邻放电时间间隔变短,因而与电压为4 kV时相比,Δt谱图发生了明显变化。内部放电的Δt谱图仍由5个放电簇组成,但各放电簇的放电数点逐渐变得发散,位于第一象限的3个放电簇有相互融合为一个放电簇的趋势。此外,放电簇1所包含的脉冲数量增多,占总脉冲数量的81.3%。电晕放电的Δt谱图变化较为明显,主要表现在2个方面:首先是位于边界处的放电脉冲由4 kV时的3个减少为2个;其次是随着电压的升高,位于第一象限的放电簇由4 kV时的3个放电簇融合为一个包络线为直角三角形的放电簇,且所包含的脉冲占比由98.4%增高到99.0%。随着电压升高,槽放电的Δt谱图变化也比较显著,其特征主要表现为放电簇数量变少、位于第二象限和第四象限的放电簇消失,此外,放电簇不再分为头部和拖尾两个部分,位于第一象限的放电簇融合为一个包络线为直角三角形的放电簇,且所包含的脉冲占比由96.8%增高到99.6%。
由表面放电的PRPD谱图可知,表面放电的发生时常伴随着强烈的电晕放电,因此,为了避免电晕放电对结果带来的影响,在绘制PSA谱图时滤掉了低幅值的电晕放电。图11为试验线圈在不同电压等级下的Δt谱图。从图11可以看出,表面放电的Δt谱图与其余3种放电的谱图均有明显区别,当电压为8 kV时,Δt谱图由7个放电簇组成,且各放电簇内的放电散点分布集中,且放电簇1所包含的脉冲数量最多,占总脉冲数量的29.77%,放电簇2~5包含的的脉冲数量次之,放电簇6和放电簇7包含的脉冲数量最少。当电压为18 kV时,Δt谱图的放电簇数量没有发生变化,但各放电簇的范围变大,放电散点变得发散,此外,放电簇1所包含的脉冲占比升高至39.77%,放电簇2~5所包含的脉冲有所减少,放电簇6和放电簇7所包含的脉冲增多,且放电簇2~7所包含的脉冲数量基本相当。
10 kV三相异步电动机主绝缘典型绝缘缺陷的局部放电特征如表1所示,在工程应用过程中可以结合局部放电PRPD谱图及PSA谱图对不同绝缘缺陷进行初步识别。由PRPD谱图的特征分析可知,内部气隙与表面污染缺陷的放电特征能够与其他几种绝缘缺陷的放电特性较为明显地区分出来,内部气隙放电的PRPD谱图区别始终表现为正负半周相对称的特性,且最大放电量在数十至数百pC之间,放电幅值最低。表面污染放电在PRPD谱图特征上表现为在相位为30°和(或)210°附近存在高耸的垂直于相位轴的放电簇,最大放电量在数百至上万pC之间。而端部半导体涂层及防晕层交叠部位故障与槽内线圈磨损的放电在PRPD谱图上均表现出正负半周不对称且负半周放电明显高于正半周放电的特性,且最大放电量也比较接近,虽然这两种缺陷类型在PRPD谱图负半周谱图包络线上存在一定的差异,但在实际工程试验中由于环境及缺陷位置的影响,谱图包络线的差异会变小,因此仅依靠PRPD谱图很难对两者进行准确的识别,此时,结合PSA谱图进行区分,依据Δt谱图中放电簇的数量、放电簇的外形特性、放电簇的位置等特征,可以对这两种缺陷实现较为准确的识别。
本文在实验室环境下获取了定子绕组典型绝缘缺陷放电信息,分别绘制了PRPD谱图及PSA谱图,分析了低电压及高电压下的局部放电特性,得到如下结论:
(1)不同的绝缘缺陷具有不同的PRPD谱图及Δt谱图特征分布,并且这些特征随电压的升高会发生变化。
(2)PRPD谱图在局部放电特性分析方面仍是一种较好的手段,能够较好地识别内部放电及表面放电,但对槽放电及电晕放电则不易分辨,Δt谱图从相邻脉冲之间的放电时间差的角度出发,更易区分不同的放电类型。
(3)结合Δt谱图中放电簇的数量、放电簇的外形特性、放电簇的位置等特征及PRPD谱图的对称性、放电幅值、放电相位分布等特征,可以对典型绝缘缺陷实现有效识别。
