High-power air-insulated RF coaxial cable has a broad application prospect in the field of Internet of Things. It is of great significance to study the electric field distribution of its important insulating component—insulating gasket in the presence of common defects for the safe and stable operation of RF coaxial cables. Firstly, a numerical model of RF coaxial cable containing inner and outer conductors and insulating gaskets was established and a simulation model of electrostatic field was constructed in finite element software, and the accuracy of the model was verified through experiments. Secondly, on the basis of constructed model, the effects of internal air bubbles, surface foreign objects, and interface defects on the electric field distribution of insulating gaskets were studied by adjusting the morphology and positional parameters of defects, and compared with the simulation results of electric field intensity in the absence of defects. The results show that the electric field distribution of the insulating gasket is related to the morphology of internal bubbles, and the closer the distance from the inner conductor, the more serious the electric field distortion; the size, location, and arrangement of the surface foreign objects will affect the electric field distribution, and the influence of conductive particles on the electric field is larger than that of sand particles; the interface defects have a negative correlation with the thickness of defects, and have a positive correlation with the depth of defects. In summary, it is surface foreign object leading to the most serious electric field distortion in three kinds of defects, followed by interface defect.

大功率空气绝缘射频同轴电缆在物联网等领域具有广阔的应用前景,研究其重要的绝缘部件——绝缘垫片在常见缺陷存在下的电场分布情况对射频同轴电缆安全稳定运行具有重要意义。首先,建立包含内外导体和绝缘垫片的射频同轴电缆数值模型并在有限元软件中搭建其静电场仿真模型,通过试验验证了该模型的准确性;其次,基于所搭建的模型调节缺陷的形态、位置参数研究内部气泡、表面异物和界面缺陷对绝缘垫片电场分布的影响,并与无缺陷时的电场强度仿真结果进行比较。结果表明:绝缘垫片电场分布与内部气泡形态有关,并且距离内导体越近,电场畸变越严重;表面异物的尺寸、位置、排列方式都会影响电场分布,其中导电颗粒对电场的影响比沙粒大;界面缺陷对电场的影响程度与缺陷厚度成负相关,与缺陷深度成正相关。综上,3种缺陷中导致电场畸变最严重的缺陷是表面异物,其次是界面缺陷。

大功率空气绝缘射频同轴电缆在物联网等领域具有广阔的应用前景,研究其重要的绝缘部件——绝缘垫片在常见缺陷存在下的电场分布情况对射频同轴电缆安全稳定运行具有重要意义。首先,建立包含内外导体和绝缘垫片的射频同轴电缆数值模型并在有限元软件中搭建其静电场仿真模型,通过试验验证了该模型的准确性;其次,基于所搭建的模型调节缺陷的形态、位置参数研究内部气泡、表面异物和界面缺陷对绝缘垫片电场分布的影响,并与无缺陷时的电场强度仿真结果进行比较。结果表明:绝缘垫片电场分布与内部气泡形态有关,并且距离内导体越近,电场畸变越严重;表面异物的尺寸、位置、排列方式都会影响电场分布,其中导电颗粒对电场的影响比沙粒大;界面缺陷对电场的影响程度与缺陷厚度成负相关,与缺陷深度成正相关。综上,3种缺陷中导致电场畸变最严重的缺陷是表面异物,其次是界面缺陷。

High-power air-insulated RF coaxial cable has a broad application prospect in the field of Internet of Things. It is of great significance to study the electric field distribution of its important insulating component—insulating gasket in the presence of common defects for the safe and stable operation of RF coaxial cables. Firstly, a numerical model of RF coaxial cable containing inner and outer conductors and insulating gaskets was established and a simulation model of electrostatic field was constructed in finite element software, and the accuracy of the model was verified through experiments. Secondly, on the basis of constructed model, the effects of internal air bubbles, surface foreign objects, and interface defects on the electric field distribution of insulating gaskets were studied by adjusting the morphology and positional parameters of defects, and compared with the simulation results of electric field intensity in the absence of defects. The results show that the electric field distribution of the insulating gasket is related to the morphology of internal bubbles, and the closer the distance from the inner conductor, the more serious the electric field distortion; the size, location, and arrangement of the surface foreign objects will affect the electric field distribution, and the influence of conductive particles on the electric field is larger than that of sand particles; the interface defects have a negative correlation with the thickness of defects, and have a positive correlation with the depth of defects. In summary, it is surface foreign object leading to the most serious electric field distortion in three kinds of defects, followed by interface defect.

随着国内国际双循环的推进,“5G”、“物联网”等行业迎来新一轮的高速增长,大功率空气绝缘射频(30 MHz~40 GHz)同轴电缆作为重要的电力通讯部件,已占据光电线缆整个行业的35%以上[1-2],并保持快速发展。空气绝缘射频同轴电缆具有屏蔽能力强、损耗低的优点,可以极大地增加信号传输的效率[3-5]。聚四氟乙烯绝缘垫片作为其重要的绝缘部件,起着机械支撑和绝缘的作用,但其存在的缺陷在大功率高电压的影响下将发展成局部放电甚至击穿故障,因此聚四氟乙烯绝缘垫片是整个空气绝缘射频同轴电缆绝缘中最薄弱的部分,其绝缘性能将极大地影响电缆的安全稳定运行[6-7]
目前空气绝缘射频同轴电缆实际运行中发生故障的主要原因是绝缘垫片制造和电缆运行过程中形成的内部缺陷、界面缺陷或表面异物,这些缺陷会严重畸变电场分布,在交流电压下产生重复击穿和熄灭的放电现象,导致介质老化、腐蚀加速和绝缘强度降低,最终导致击穿发生[8-11]。此外,局部放电与电树的形成、生长密切相关:介质孔洞内的局部放电导致初始电树的形成,树枝通道中的局部放电进一步促进电树的生长,并最终引发绝缘击穿,造成重大损失。图1展示了发生外部局部放电的电缆样品照片。因此,研究典型缺陷对空气绝缘射频同轴电缆关键绝缘部件电场分布的影响具有重要意义。
目前,国内外针对空气绝缘射频同轴电缆的绝缘特性鲜有研究,研究主要集中在XLPE实心绝缘的电力电缆上[12-13]。文献[12]针对XLPE电缆的典型缺陷形态对电场畸变的影响进行仿真分析,得出不同形态缺陷对电场畸变的程度。文献[13]对双层绝缘结构的HVDC电缆的电场分布进行仿真研究,结果发现双层绝缘结构具有更好的绝缘效果,但现有文献都没有考虑到射频电缆的空气绝缘结构。国内外对空气绝缘射频同轴电缆的仿真与试验研究甚少,文献[14]对射频电缆的故障进行了分析,将故障原因分为杂质渗入、机械受损等,但没有对杂质等缺陷对电场强度的影响程度进行量化分析。故急需对包含内外导体和绝缘垫片的空气绝缘射频同轴电缆可能产生的内部气泡、表面异物和界面缺陷及其在不同缺陷下的电场分布情况进行研究。
为此,本文基于数值模型和试验数据搭建了空气绝缘射频同轴电缆的仿真模型,针对上述3种缺陷对电场强度分布的影响进行仿真计算,研究结果可为射频电缆的缺陷防控提供理论依据。
在大功率射频同轴电缆中,采用空气绝缘结构可以提高其传输功率,其他措施还有增大尺寸及采用耐高温材料[15]。聚四氟乙烯绝缘垫片是一种比较常用的空气绝缘结构,绝缘垫片嵌套在内外导体之间,起到机械支撑和绝缘的作用,管道内充有空气,如图2所示。
在射频电缆的内外导体之间施加交流电压时,可以通过式(1)~(4)求解电缆内部的电场强度。

其边界条件如式(5)~(6)所示。

式(5)~(6)中:n为法向分量;J1为面1的电流;J2为面2的电流;Jn为沿面法向的电流;E1为面1的电场强度矢量;E2为面2的电场强度矢量;面1与面2分别是介质交界面的两面。
射频同轴电缆的电场分布解析公式如式(7)所示。

式(7)中:U为内导体上的电压,单位为kV;D1为内导体直径,单位为cm;D2为外导体直径,单位为cm;r为距离电缆中心的距离,单位为cm;E为距离电缆中心为r时对应的电场强度值,单位为kV/cm。
本文选用的射频同轴电缆内导体和外导体材料均为铜,使用聚四氟乙烯绝缘垫片保持同轴结构,中间管道所充气体为空气,根据数值模型建立射频同轴电缆的静电场仿真模型,如图3所示。其中聚四氟乙烯绝缘垫片的相对介电常数设置为2.3,空气的相对介电常数设置为1,内导体直径为35 mm,绝缘垫片腹部直径为50 mm,外导体内径为90 mm,厚度为4 mm。
Peek公式可以用来计算同轴电极结构的电晕放电起始场强E0[16],如式(8)所示。

式(8)中:E0为电晕起始电场强度,单位为kV/cm;r为电晕电极的曲率半径,单位为cm;δ是空气的相对密度,可由式(9)表示。

式(9)中:T0P0分别表示室温25℃、一个标准大气压;TP分别表示实际温度和大气压力。
要得到射频同轴电缆的起晕电压,可以通过仿真得到内导体表面最大场强Emax。当Emax>E0时,电缆发生电晕放电,此时的输入电压为起晕电压;当Emax<E0时,电缆未发生电晕。射频电缆的起晕电压仿真与试验数据列于表1中。
为验证仿真结果的准确性,本文选取几截与仿真模型结构相符的射频同轴电缆作为试验样本。图4是局部放电试验原理图,在高压实验室内搭建局部放电实验平台进行试验,图5为试验过程中空气绝缘射频同轴电缆未发生电晕和发生电晕时的实拍图,从图中可以看到发生电晕时产生的亮光。
对于表1中的1号射频同轴电缆,当仿真输入电压为1.6 kV时,仿真最大场强Emax为91.2 kV/cm,根据解析公式计算所得的电晕起始场强E0为89.3 kV/cm,此时Emax>E0,电缆发生电晕。当仿真输入电压为1.5 kV时,Emax<E0,电缆未发生电晕,所以仿真得到的起晕电压为1.6 kV,与实际实验数据相同。对于2号和3号电缆,误差分别为9.52%和7.69%,均保持在10%以内,故模型可以用来研究射频同轴电缆。
在空气绝缘射频同轴电缆的生产过程与实际运行中,需要经历焊接、护套、切线、剥线、焊接、注塑、测试等,步骤比较复杂繁琐,任何一个环节的疏忽都是缺陷的诱因,严重的将会产生局部放电甚至导致系统运行故障。下文主要研究现有工程实际中常见的内部气泡、表面异物和界面缺陷这3种缺陷对电缆电场分布的影响。
绝缘垫片内部的气泡缺陷主要是因浇注时未彻底脱气或者操作失误而产生的内部不规则细小气泡,这些气泡在高电压和强电场的环境下会引发局部放电,从而加速周围绝缘材料的老化,造成绝缘破坏,引发安全事故。但是,目前的技术难以检测到细小气泡,其运行初期造成的影响一般不大,但是长期局部放电造成的绝缘强度降低和介质老化可能导致重大故障的发生。
本文从气泡形状、气泡大小、气泡位置三方面研究内部气泡对绝缘垫片电场分布的影响。绝缘垫片内部的气泡形状是不规则的,但均可等效为常见的椭球形进行分析,内部气泡模型如图6所示,其中abc分别为椭球形气泡的3个半轴长度,d为气泡与轴切面的径向距离,当a=b=c时即为球形。在绝缘垫片内部9个不同位置设置气泡进行仿真计算,编号为1~9,其中1~5号气泡在支腿处,6~9号气泡沿环分布。在下文中将改变气泡的尺寸参数以及所处位置进行仿真计算。
研究绝缘垫片的内部气泡对电场分布的影响时,首先研究尺寸参数(abc)大小对其所在处最大电场强度Emax的影响,选取编号为3的气泡保持球心位置不变,设置气泡为球体(a=b=c),a的范围为0.05~0.25 mm,仿真得到Emax均为14 kV/cm左右,可见当气泡为球体时,半径对电场强度的影响不显著。
分别保持a半轴的长度为0.05 mm和0.15 mm,改变bc半轴的长度,范围为0.05~0.25 mm,仿真结果如图7所示。从图7可以看出,在保持a不变的情况下,bc的增大都会造成Emax变大,但是bc互换并不会对电场强度产生影响,最大电场强度为21.96 kV/cm。而当a增加时,Emax随着a的增大而减小。
保持1~9号气泡为球体且半径为0.2 mm,分别对有气泡缺陷和无气泡缺陷的射频同轴电缆进行仿真,得到有气泡缺陷和无气泡缺陷时气泡所在位置最大场强Emax,结果如图8所示。
图8可知,气泡在不同位置对电场强度的影响大小不尽相同,气泡位于绝缘垫片腹部时具有更大的影响,电场畸变最大值为17.5 kV/cm。可以看出气泡越靠近绝缘垫片的中心,对电场强度的影响越大,电场畸变更严重。改变气泡的径向位置同样会影响电场强度的分布,d增大时,气泡更接近绝缘垫片表面,对电场强度的影响更小。根据以上结果,内部气泡造成的电场畸变较小,发生局放的放电量比较小,难以检测。但是长期的局放同样具有很严重的影响,会造成介质老化以及绝缘强度降低,最后导致击穿,影响电缆的安全运行。
在射频同轴电缆的装配运输过程中会有异物掉落并吸附在绝缘垫片表面,其周围的电场分布比较集中,容易产生局部放电和沿面闪络,对绝缘造成破坏[17]。由于表面异物存在的位置难以确定并可能同时存在多个异物,本文从尺寸、位置和排列方式3个方面着重讨论常见的金属异物(导电颗粒)与非金属异物(沙粒)的影响。
基于以上表面异物的选择,对绝缘垫片表面异物缺陷进行仿真计算并分析。绝缘垫片表面附近的异物模型及参数如图9所示。导电颗粒的相对介电常数设置为1×107,沙粒的相对介电常数设置为5.5[9]θ为表面异物球心与绝缘垫片支腿轴心的夹角,r为表面异物半径,分析如图9所示绝缘垫片表面经过异物的路径电场值。
本文在不影响仿真计算的前提下,设置导电颗粒是半径为0.2 mm的球体。图10是仿真结果示例,可见导电颗粒和绝缘垫片的接触面电场畸变最严重,此时表面电场强度最大值为79.2 kV/cm,可能发生局部放电。
研究导电颗粒位置对绝缘垫片表面电场强度的影响,首先保持导电颗粒半径r=0.2 mm不变改变导电颗粒位置,仿真路径的电场强度分布。图11给出了导电颗粒位置对绝缘垫片表面电场强度的影响。由图11可见,在保持导电颗粒尺寸不变的情况下,导电颗粒所处位置不同,对电场强度的影响也不同。位于垫片腹部表面的导电颗粒对表面电场强度造成较大的影响,但位于腹部不同位置时电场强度区别不大,这是因为绝缘垫片腹部的圆筒结构使得腹部表面与内导体距离相近,所以电场强度也相近,此时最大电场强度为79.1 kV/cm。位于支腿附近的导电颗粒导致的电场畸变程度相对较小,而位于腹部附近的导电颗粒导致的电场畸变程度相对较大,这是由于绝缘垫片腹部的电场线比较密集,畸变程度更为严重。
研究导电颗粒尺寸对绝缘垫片表面电场强度的影响,首先保持θ=60°,改变导电颗粒的半径r,图12r分别为0.10、0.15、0.2、0.25、0.30 mm时仿真路径的电场强度分布图。从图12可以看出,在导电颗粒附近电场发生严重畸变,导电颗粒半径改变时,电场畸变程度变化不大,最大电场强度为83 kV/cm,但影响范围扩大,危害更大。
空气绝缘射频同轴电缆的安装和运行实际中可能会有沙粒掺入,随后在绝缘垫片表面沉积下来。本文设置沙粒是半径为0.2 mm的球体,仿真仅单一沙粒和θ=60°时附近多个沙粒不同排列情况下的电场分布情况,仿真结果如表2表3所示。
分析表2表3仿真结果发现,当单一沙粒存在时,具有和导电颗粒相似的结论,其中θ=60°情况下电场强度畸变最严重,电场强度为30.7 kV/cm。当多个沙粒同时存在时,电场畸变程度增强并且影响范围更广,这是因为多个带电沙粒的存在使得每个沙粒的畸变电场相互叠加。线状排列和片状排列的沙粒对于表面电场强度的影响程度不同,其中片状排列时影响更大。
界面缺陷指的是绝缘垫片和内外导体接触面上的微小气隙。在实际生产运行中,绝缘垫片的冷却收缩以及安装运行过程的微小碰撞和振动都可能会使绝缘垫片和内外导体的接触面产生微小气隙,其易在高压高温的情况下产生局部放电,危害电缆运行安全。绝缘垫片可能产生的界面缺陷计算模型及参数如图13所示,其中θdh分别为界面缺陷的圆心角、深度和厚度。
研究外导体界面气隙的θdh对电场分布的影响,保持θ=2°和θ=4°,仿真不同dh时缺陷所处位置的电场强度最大值,结果如图14所示。从图14可以看出,当θ增大时,电场畸变更严重。当θ相同时,外导体界面缺陷的深度和厚度变化会导致电场强度改变,电场强度最小值为9.72 kV/cm,最大值可以达到13.05 kV/cm,与无缺陷电场强度6.5 kV/cm相比发生了畸变。dh的大小对电场畸变也有直接的影响,当d增大时,电场强度畸变更严重,反之畸变程度减小;而h变化时,规律相反。
为了研究内导体界面气隙的dh对电场分布的影响,仿真改变dh时缺陷所在处的最大电场强度,d分别取0.1、0.2、0.5 mm,h分别取0.01、0.02、0.05 mm,仿真结果如表4所示。
分析仿真结果,不同深度界面气隙电场都是从缺陷起点发生畸变,同时在缺陷中间位置附近达到最大值。界面气隙深度增加,影响范围变广,同时也会使电场畸变更加严重,电场强度最大值达到61 kV/cm。
内导体界面缺陷厚度增加时,电场畸变程度显著降低,在界面气隙深度为0.1 mm、厚度为0.01 mm时,电场强度最大值为37 kV/cm,而当厚度增加到0.05 mm时,电场强度最大值仅为26 kV/cm,若厚度继续增加,则造成的影响将更小。
进一步讨论缺陷形状对电场强度畸变的影响,内导体界面缺陷相较于外导体界面缺陷对电场强度的畸变影响更为严重。保持h=0.2 mm,仿真改变内导体界面缺陷的形状和d时缺陷所在处的最大电场强度,d分别取0.1、0.2、0.5 mm,仿真结果如表5所示。由表5可知,表面气隙形状改变也会影响电场强度的畸变程度,三角形气隙畸变程度最大,最大电场强度可达40.4 kV/cm,其次是矩形和半椭球形,这是因为三角形气隙的形状较为尖锐,电场分布更集中,导致畸变更加严重。
综上所述,无论是存在外导体界面缺陷还是内导体界面缺陷,表面电场强度均会有不同程度的畸变,继而发生局部放电以及沿面闪络。
为了研究绝缘垫片缺陷对射频同轴电缆电场分布的影响,搭建了包含内外导体和绝缘垫片的空气绝缘射频同轴电缆模型,并通过试验验证了模型的准确性。在此模型的基础上,研究了绝缘垫片存在内部气泡、表面异物和界面缺陷时电场分布的变化,并与无缺陷时比较,得出以下结论:
(1)内部气泡的形状和位置参数会对电场分布产生影响:气泡a半轴长度增大时,电场畸变程度降低,bc半轴长度对电场强度的影响具有相反的规律;气泡位置距离内导体越近,电场畸变越严重。
(2)金属异物和非金属异物对表面场强的影响具有相似的规律:绝缘垫片腹部的异物对电场的影响更大;异物尺寸增加,电场畸变程度增加,影响范围增大;多个异物同时存在时,片状排列电场畸变更严重。两种异物中导电颗粒对电场强度的影响更大。
(3)内外导体的界面缺陷对电场强度的影响与缺陷厚度均成负相关,与缺陷深度成正相关,当界面缺陷为尖锐的三角形时,电场畸变更严重。
综上,3种缺陷中对电场分布影响最大、导致电场畸变最严重的缺陷是绝缘垫片的表面异物,其次是界面缺陷,相比之下内部气泡的影响较小,但在高温高压工作情况下可能发生长期的局部放电导致绝缘劣化,不可忽视。
