In order to investigate the ageing mechanism of composite insulators in extreme cold regions, the influence of ageing time on the physicochemical, mechanical, and electrical properties of composite insulator skirts were studied by an improved multi-factor ageing method. The results show that with the increase of the ageing time, cracks, holes and particle accumulation appear on the surface of the silicone rubber material, that leads to the significant decrease of its hydrophobicity. At the same time, the overall hardness of the silicone rubber material increases, the elongation at break decreases rapidly, and the mechanical properties decrease significantly. In addition, with the increase of ageing time, the dielectric constant increases significantly, the dielectric loss keeps increasing, the density of deep trap energy level gets lower, the density of shallow trap energy level increases, the surface conductivity increases significantly, and the flashover voltage decreases sharply.

为探明极寒地区复合绝缘子老化机理,本文采用改进多因素老化方法,研究老化时间对复合绝缘子伞裙理化性能、力学性能以及电气性能的影响规律。结果表明:随着老化时间的增加,硅橡胶材料表面出现裂纹、孔洞和颗粒物堆积等现象,憎水性明显降低,材料整体硬度增加,断裂伸长率迅速降低,力学性能明显下降。同时,硅橡胶材料的介电常数明显增大,介质损耗不断增加,深陷阱能级密度变低,浅陷阱能级密度升高,表面电导率大幅增加,闪络电压急剧下降。

为探明极寒地区复合绝缘子老化机理,本文采用改进多因素老化方法,研究老化时间对复合绝缘子伞裙理化性能、力学性能以及电气性能的影响规律。结果表明:随着老化时间的增加,硅橡胶材料表面出现裂纹、孔洞和颗粒物堆积等现象,憎水性明显降低,材料整体硬度增加,断裂伸长率迅速降低,力学性能明显下降。同时,硅橡胶材料的介电常数明显增大,介质损耗不断增加,深陷阱能级密度变低,浅陷阱能级密度升高,表面电导率大幅增加,闪络电压急剧下降。

In order to investigate the ageing mechanism of composite insulators in extreme cold regions, the influence of ageing time on the physicochemical, mechanical, and electrical properties of composite insulator skirts were studied by an improved multi-factor ageing method. The results show that with the increase of the ageing time, cracks, holes and particle accumulation appear on the surface of the silicone rubber material, that leads to the significant decrease of its hydrophobicity. At the same time, the overall hardness of the silicone rubber material increases, the elongation at break decreases rapidly, and the mechanical properties decrease significantly. In addition, with the increase of ageing time, the dielectric constant increases significantly, the dielectric loss keeps increasing, the density of deep trap energy level gets lower, the density of shallow trap energy level increases, the surface conductivity increases significantly, and the flashover voltage decreases sharply.

复合绝缘子具有造价低廉和安装维护简单等优点,同时其电气性能和力学性能优异,被广泛应用于电网工程建设中[1-2]。但是相对于陶瓷和玻璃绝缘子而言,复合绝缘子硅橡胶伞裙更容易受运行环境影响而发生老化。复合绝缘子在紫外线[3]、污秽[4-5]、电晕放电[6-8]、冰雪[9]等因素作用下,材料表面容易产生缺陷,导致材料的耐污闪性能[10]和憎水性能[11]下降,对于电网的安全运行产生严重隐患。复合绝缘子老化的主要原因是硅橡胶严重劣化进而在粘结交界面处产生局部放电,从而导致出现掉串和炸裂等问题[12]
曾磊磊等[13]提出通过喷水分级法测试不同运行年限的复合绝缘子憎水性能,结果表明伴随着运行时间的增加,绝缘子的憎水性能变得越来越差。孙进等[14]通过扫描电镜(SEM)观测老化复合绝缘子的表面微观形貌,发现随着老化时间的增加,试样表面逐渐出现裂纹和密集的孔洞,并且缺陷不断增加。M NOUREDDINE等[15]对硅橡胶伞裙在热老化时电导率和闪络电压的变化进行了研究,发现随着老化时间的延长,硅橡胶的电导率提高。王晨晖等[16]研究了硅橡胶伞裙不同位置的老化性能,结果表明,老化之后伞裙两端位置的性能下降最严重。王青录[17]通过斜面测试法测试了老化前后复合绝缘子的耐电痕化能力,结果表明,老化之后耐电痕化能力降低,但是仍然表现出很高的耐电痕化能力。曾磊磊等[18]研究了湿热老化前后复合绝缘子的介电性能,发现老化之后绝缘子的介电常数和介质损耗都显著提高。TU Y等[19]研究了复合绝缘子上、下表面的老化程度,发现在上层的绝缘子受到紫外线的老化影响比较严重,导致硅橡胶的陷阱能级增加。E M SAVADKOOHI等[20]研究了不均匀污染老化状态下复合绝缘子电性能的变化规律,发现污染的不均匀程度越高,样品的闪络电压越低。目前,研究人员从材料性能、外观表征与电气性能角度出发,结合当地典型环境因素,提出了多因素复合绝缘子老化的状态评估和寿命预测方法,但是缺少对于绝缘子在极寒温度环境下的状态评估。
本研究搭建人工多因素老化平台,模拟极寒地区复合绝缘子的运行环境对复合绝缘子进行老化试验,通过SEM观测老化前后硅橡胶伞裙的微观形貌变化,通过红外光谱分析老化前后材料各基团的吸收峰强度,运用静态接触角法测试材料老化前后的憎水性能,通过测试材料老化前后的硬度以及断裂伸长率来判断材料的力学性能变化情况。此外,对材料老化前后的电导率、介电常数、介质损耗、闪络电压和陷阱能级进行测试分析。
搭建人工多因素老化平台,模拟极寒地区复合绝缘子的运行环境,采用的仪器设备主要有高低温循环老化箱、容量为20 kVA的单相隔离变压器、单相频率为50 Hz的调压变压器、电容量为400 pF的电容分压器。遵循ISO 4892-3-2006对人工加速紫外老化试验的相关要求,采用长波紫外线(UVA)作为紫外辐照光源模拟绝缘子在正常运行时所受的紫外辐射。
考虑复合绝缘子在内蒙古东部地区所受自然环境影响,以内蒙古根河地区为例,冬季极端温度可达-58℃,夏季温度一般为20~25℃,结合运行环境中湿度、电场、光照以及降雨的影响,制定老化试验方案如表1所示。
与GB/T 22079—2008提出的老化方案相比,为了更好地模拟实际运行环境,本方案将一次老化循环试验分为0~24 h和25~48 h两个阶段:0~24 h包含高温、高湿、高压、紫外环境;25~48 h包含低温、高压环境。通过氙灯模拟紫外辐照,辐照的强度为0.85~0.95 kW/m2;爬电比距采用GB/T 19519—2014规定的34.6 mm/kV,施加电压为30 kV,雨水电导率约为10 μS/cm;对实验的温度和湿度进行设置,温度设置为50℃±3℃和-60℃±3℃、湿度设置为85%±3%。每240 h取出老化样品进行测试。
在老化伞裙上裁取尺寸为5 mm×5 mm×5 mm的试样,采用扫描电子显微镜(GAIA3,TESCAN)观测老化前后材料的微观形貌。裁取尺寸为10 mm×10 mm×5 mm的试样,通过傅里叶红外光谱分析仪(V80型,布鲁克公司)分析材料分子链和官能团变化情况。裁取尺寸为1 mm×2 mm×5 mm的试样,采用高温接触角测量仪(DSAHT型,KRUSS)在温度为25℃、相对湿度为68%、大气压为97.9 kPa的条件下进行水接触角测试。
在老化伞裙上随机选取6个点,按照GB/T 6031—2017进行硬度测试,测试时间为30 s,取6次测量结果的平均值。将不同老化时间硅橡胶制备成GB/T 528—2009中的2型试样,如图1所示,采用万能拉伸机测量试样的断裂伸长率。
裁取尺寸为40 mm×40 mm×5 mm的试样,采用三电极法测试老化前后硅橡胶伞裙的直流表面电导率。裁取尺寸为20 mm×20 mm×5 mm的试样,采用宽频介电谱仪测试不同老化时间试样的介电常数和介质损耗因数。裁取尺寸为20 mm×20 mm× 5 mm的试样以1 kV/s的升压速率测试材料的闪络电压,每个老化时间试样测试5次。裁取尺寸为10 mm×10 mm×5 mm的试样进行表面电位衰减测量。
图2是复合绝缘子老化不同时间后的SEM图。从图2可以看出,未老化样品表面平滑,没有裂纹和孔洞等缺陷产生,当老化240 h时,材料表面的变化并不明显,材料表面出现了颗粒物堆积的现象[21],但是随着老化时间的增加,硅橡胶材料表面出现密集的裂纹和孔洞并且孔洞逐渐变大,此外还有较多的颗粒物堆积。
图3是复合绝缘子老化不同时间后的红外光谱图。根据图3中吸收峰波数的不同可以分辨出不同的官能团,硅橡胶侧链中存在疏水基团[22],在老化过程中硅橡胶的分子链断裂,进而导致主链和侧链基团对应的特征峰强度发生变化。老化过程中带电粒子对硅橡胶冲击造成的物理腐蚀产生了密集的裂纹和孔洞,化学腐蚀导致图2所示硅橡胶表面的颗粒物堆积[23]。主链硅氧键所在吸收峰位置为1 020 cm-1,侧链中-CH3所在吸收峰位置为1 270 cm-1和2 955 cm-1。在3 695~2 795 cm-1波段,红外光谱的变化主要是由于O-H键的变化引起的。伴随着老化程度的增加,各官能团的含量降低,吸光度下降。材料有机成分逐渐消耗,绝缘材料降解,主链结构受损,导致硅橡胶材料表面主链断裂。低温下硅橡胶结晶度增加,小分子链段交联成大分子链段,老化降温过程中产生的水分会在硅橡胶表面发生氧化水解反应,分子结构的改变使得材料内部的小分子更容易扩散出来,降低材料的绝缘性能。随着老化时间的增加,吸收峰强度逐渐下降,说明在老化过程中无机阻燃剂氢氧化铝Al(OH)3逐渐分解,材料表面产生的游离羟基更容易挥发。红外光谱结果表明,在老化过程中伴随着分子链的断裂,在微观形貌上表现为微孔和裂纹,影响材料的性能。
为了研究老化过程中硅橡胶表面憎水性能的变化情况,通过测量水接触角来衡量老化不同时间的复合绝缘子的憎水性能,结果如图4所示[24]。硅橡胶的憎水性能主要由疏水基团-CH3决定,从图3中可以看出,随着老化时间的增加,-CH3吸收峰强度降低,分子链的断裂使材料甲基含量下降,导致憎水性能降低。
图5是复合绝缘子老化不同时间后的硬度和断裂伸长率测试结果。从图5可以看出,随着老化时间的增加,试样的硬度先增大后基本不变。这是因为复合绝缘子硅橡胶内部PDMS(聚二甲基乙烯基硅氧烷)和Al(OH)3的含量决定了材料本身的硬度[25]。老化过程中主链上的Si-O断裂,并且逐渐扩散到空气中,导致PDMS含量逐渐减少,剩下硬度高的Al(OH)3,导致硬度增加。从图5还可以看出,随着老化程度的加深,材料的断裂伸长率迅速下降,老化720 h时断裂伸长率较未老化试样下降23.3%。在老化过程中,水汽向硅橡胶进行渗透,热的作用加剧了水汽的渗透运动,在材料的内部造成了分子链的断裂[26],因此材料的断裂伸长率迅速下降。在高低温循环下,由于受到两个大跨度的温度影响,材料内部的部分分子链被“冻结”,导致材料内部产生撕裂,加速分子链的断裂。
图6是复合绝缘子老化不同时间后的表面电导率测试结果。从图6可以看出,随着高低温老化时间的增加,电导率依次增大。电导率变化的重要影响因素是载流子的浓度和迁移率[27]。随着老化程度的加深,硅橡胶材料表面产生大量裂纹和孔洞等缺陷,导致出现大量陷阱,增加了载流子迁移速度,最终导致电导率增加。
图7为复合绝缘子老化不同时间后的介电常数和介质损耗因数变化规律。从图7可以看出,老化时间越长,硅橡胶的相对介电常数越大,高频下的相对介电常数略微降低。介质损耗因数随着老化时间的延长而不断增加,并且在较高频率下迅速下降。在高湿环境下,硅橡胶老化过程中表面容易产生电晕从而导致材料的分子链断裂,使材料表面结构被破坏[28]。硅橡胶材料吸湿率增加,老化过程中水分进入材料,由于水的相对介电常数远大于硅橡胶,水分的侵入使极化增强,导致介质损耗增大。
图8是复合绝缘子老化不同时间后的闪络电压测试结果。从图8可以看出,硅橡胶伞裙老化运行时间为0、240、480、720 h的尺度参数分别为28.96、28.89、27.20、25.80 kV,形状参数分别为85.19、55.44、26.45、26.60,绝缘子老化时间为720 h时的击穿电压与未老化绝缘子相比下降了10.9 %。
图9为复合绝缘子老化不同时间后的表面电位变化,可以看出复合绝缘子老化之后的表面电位衰减速率加快。图10为通过表面电位衰减法计算得出的陷阱能级分布。从图10可以看出,随着老化程度的加深,硅橡胶表面的深陷阱逐渐向浅陷阱发展,深陷阱密度减小,浅陷阱密度增加,载流子脱陷所需能量下降,使闪络电压下降[29]。浅陷阱相比于深陷阱将在很大程度上提高电荷输运能力,因此老化后硅橡胶表面电位衰减速度变快[30]
(1)在多因素老化过程中,硅橡胶材料表面产生了裂纹和孔洞等缺陷以及颗粒物的堆积,并且在老化过程中二甲基硅氧烷和阻燃剂氢氧化铝发生分解,材料内部分子链大量断裂。
(2)在多因素老化过程中,PDMS发生分解,剩下硬度高的Al(OH)3,因此老化之后材料的硬度增加。随着老化程度的加深,材料表面出现物理缺陷,分子链不断断裂,材料的断裂伸长率持续下降,材料的力学性能降低,低温老化条件下断裂伸长率下降明显。
(3)在多因素老化过程中,随着老化程度不断加重,陷阱密度的增加使载流子迁移速率加快,宏观上表现为电导率增加,老化产生的物理缺陷会加速界面的极化,使得介电常数和介电损耗随着老化程度的加深而不断增加,低温情况下介电常数和介质损耗因数明显增加,材料劣化加速。
(4)在多因素老化过程中,硅橡胶材料表面变得粗糙,硅橡胶表面陷阱深度降低,载流子越发容易激发、脱陷,最终降低了硅橡胶的闪络电压。
