On the basis of surface discharge tests and finite element electric field simulation methods, the surface discharge and electric field characteristics of GIS basin insulators with metal ball or wire particle defects were studied. The results show that under different metal particle defects, both the pulse voltage and ultraviolet photon number increase with the increase of voltage. The surface discharge of basin insulators with metal wire defects is more severe, compared to the situation where there are metal ball defects on the high-voltage side, the discharge is more intense when there are metal ball defects on the low-voltage side, and the change trends of simulation results are consistent with the experimental results. When there are metal particle defects on the surface of GIS basin insulators, the surface discharge intensity is positively correlated with the distortion degree of electric field, and the correlation between the distortion degree of electric field and the average pulse amplitude is significant.

基于表面放电试验与有限元电场仿真方法对金属球/金属丝微粒缺陷下GIS盆式绝缘子表面的放电与电场特性进行研究。结果表明:不同金属微粒缺陷下脉冲电压和紫外光子数均随电压的升高而增大;金属丝缺陷下的盆式绝缘子表面放电更加严重,低压侧存在金属球缺陷时的放电比高压侧存在金属球缺陷时更加剧烈,仿真结果与试验结果变化趋势一致。GIS盆式绝缘子表面存在金属微粒缺陷时,表面的放电强度与电场畸变程度呈正相关,且电场畸变程度与平均脉冲幅值的相关性较大。

基于表面放电试验与有限元电场仿真方法对金属球/金属丝微粒缺陷下GIS盆式绝缘子表面的放电与电场特性进行研究。结果表明:不同金属微粒缺陷下脉冲电压和紫外光子数均随电压的升高而增大;金属丝缺陷下的盆式绝缘子表面放电更加严重,低压侧存在金属球缺陷时的放电比高压侧存在金属球缺陷时更加剧烈,仿真结果与试验结果变化趋势一致。GIS盆式绝缘子表面存在金属微粒缺陷时,表面的放电强度与电场畸变程度呈正相关,且电场畸变程度与平均脉冲幅值的相关性较大。

On the basis of surface discharge tests and finite element electric field simulation methods, the surface discharge and electric field characteristics of GIS basin insulators with metal ball or wire particle defects were studied. The results show that under different metal particle defects, both the pulse voltage and ultraviolet photon number increase with the increase of voltage. The surface discharge of basin insulators with metal wire defects is more severe, compared to the situation where there are metal ball defects on the high-voltage side, the discharge is more intense when there are metal ball defects on the low-voltage side, and the change trends of simulation results are consistent with the experimental results. When there are metal particle defects on the surface of GIS basin insulators, the surface discharge intensity is positively correlated with the distortion degree of electric field, and the correlation between the distortion degree of electric field and the average pulse amplitude is significant.

气体绝缘组合电器(gas insulated switchgear, GIS)因其绝缘性能优良、占地面积小等优点,得到了广泛的应用[1-3],其中盆式绝缘子是在GIS中起着关键作用的固体绝缘体[4-5]。近年来,110 kV及以上等级GIS设备因内部存在做工缺陷等问题而引发的绝缘故障时有发生,其中由盆式绝缘子故障所引发的故障占35%,而由微粒和异物引发的绝缘子故障占盆式绝缘子总故障的71%[6]。因此,研究GIS盆式绝缘子的缺陷对减少其故障的发生具有重要意义。
金属微粒作为绝缘子最为常见的微粒缺陷,受到研究者的广泛关注[6-9]。文献[6]以252 kV盆式绝缘子为研究对象,研究不同典型缺陷模型的电场分布情况,分析了不同缺陷对电场的畸变情况,发现单金属颗粒缺陷附近的最大场强可达43.6 kV/mm,金属颗粒群缺陷附近的最大场强可达86.5 kV/mm。文献[7]研究发现了微金属颗粒诱发沿面闪络的现象,证明了金属颗粒对于GIS盆式绝缘子绝缘性能的危害。文献[8]通过分析发现,在其他条件相同的情况下,高压导体上金属异物所产生的畸变电场要比外壳侧高2~9倍;当异物在外壳内表面时,电场畸变对金属异物半径的灵敏度更大;而金属异物位于高压导体表面时,电场畸变对于金属异物半径和高度的灵敏度相当。文献[9]研究表明,在GIS中加入屏蔽后,盆式绝缘子凹面和凸面电场强度有所降低,有金属颗粒缺陷时,电场强度比无缺陷时更大。
此外,金属微粒缺陷可能导致附近的电场畸变,畸变的电场可能成为局部放电或击穿失效的主要原因。因此,对于盆式绝缘子表面放电特性的研究也至关重要[3,10-12]。文献[3]研究了长期交流应力作用下GIS绝缘子表面亚毫米级金属颗粒的局部放电特性,获得了126 kV GIS绝缘子表面亚毫米级金属颗粒在工作电压下的局部放电特性。结果表明,在长时间的交流应力作用下,绝缘子表面的颗粒会逐渐趋于均匀分布,或跳跃粘附在中心导体上,或向中心导体和接地外壳附近的三结点移动,此外,运行工况下,亚毫米级金属颗粒在绝缘子表面引起的局部放电较弱,一般小于1 pC。文献[10]研究了铝颗粒附着在GIS绝缘子表面不同位置时试样的闪络电压,并采用有限元法计算了试样的表面电场强度。结果表明,当粒子附着在高电场区域时,闪络电压明显降低,降低幅度达41.8%。
以上研究表明表面放电与电场特性均受到金属微粒的影响,对认识金属微粒缺陷下GIS盆式绝缘子的表面放电与电场特性具有重要作用。但金属微粒一般分为金属球微粒和金属丝微粒,少有文献同时对比考虑金属球与金属丝微粒对GIS盆式绝缘子表面放电与电场特性的影响。基于此,本文基于表面放电试验与有限元电场仿真的方法,对金属球/金属丝微粒缺陷下GIS盆式绝缘子的表面放电与电场特性进行研究。
本试验采用252 kV GIS盆式绝缘子实体模型进行研究,如图1所示。金属缺陷分别为金属球缺陷和金属丝缺陷,其中金属球缺陷为半球体,半径为1.8 mm,金属丝缺陷为长方形,金属丝截面长度和宽度分别为10 mm和1 mm,可以控制两种缺陷与绝缘子表面的接触面积基本相同。
表面放电试验布置示意图如图2所示,试验时,绝缘子布置在T型腔体内,T型腔体尺寸按照现场设备进行设置。
根据图2所示的试验布置示意图连接电路后按照以下步骤进行试验:缓慢升压,直至出现局部放电,记录此时的电压值、紫外图谱和脉冲电压波形;继续缓慢升压,仔细观察各个设备上的数据变化,当脉冲电压波形出现较大变化时,停止加压,记录不同时刻紫外光子数和脉冲电压幅值,其中脉冲电压信号在地电位端采集。
紫外光子数由CoroCAM紫外成像仪采集,紫外成像仪通过三角支架固定于盆式绝缘子试验窗口处,保证可以有效采集放电紫外光子数。试验中调节“增益”和“阈值”到适当的值,保证能够看清紫外光源的具体位置。本试验中紫外增益设置为85%,积分增益设置为50%,阀值设置为20%。如果周围干扰太大,不能分辨紫外光源,就使用滤波器。
本文研究不同金属微粒缺陷下GIS盆式绝缘子的电场分布,运行工况为50 Hz工频电压,对于220 kV电压等级的GIS,选取准静电场计算模型。根据静电场原理,不同金属微粒缺陷下GIS盆式绝缘子的整体电位分布满足式(1)所示泊松方程。当电场中无自由移动的空间电荷时,ρ(静电场中任意一点的电荷密度)为零,拉普拉斯方程成立,如式(2)所示。

式(1)~(2)中:ε为介质的介电常数;φ为电位;2为拉普拉斯算子。求解不同金属微粒缺陷下GIS盆式绝缘子的整体电场分布时,其变分问题公式与计算域单元e顶点的点位表达式分别如式(3)式(4)所示。

式(3)~(4)中,V表示体积;J表示计算域。

式(6)中,[K]为刚度矩阵,通过求解器的迭代计算,最终可以求得金属球与金属丝微粒缺陷下GIS盆式绝缘子的整体电场分布。
仿真计算中,以不同金属微粒缺陷的GIS盆式绝缘子为研究对象,其中,导体外径为100 mm,绝缘子外径为450 mm,绝缘子高度落差为140 mm。所选盆式绝缘子的额定电压为252 kV,由于110 kV及以上的电力系统一般采用中性点直接接地的方式,故对中心导体施加206 kV电压(相对地峰值电压),壳体、法兰接地。有限元计算的材料物性参数设置如表1所示。
对于介电参数变化的模型,如果采用三维计算,计算量较大,因此本研究简化为二维模型。将简化的模型所计算的电场最大值、电场平均值与三维模型的计算结果进行误差分析,发现误差均小于5.5%,表明将三维模型简化为二维模型可以在保证计算精度的基础上,大幅减少计算量。此外,同试验中采用的金属微粒一致,模拟的金属球缺陷和金属丝缺陷如图3所示。
图4为高压侧金属丝、高压侧金属球以及低压侧金属球缺陷下GIS盆式绝缘子表面放电的紫外光子数。从图4可以看出,对于不同的缺陷类型,在开始阶段,例如20 kV时,均没有出现紫外光子,随着电压的升高,紫外光子数逐渐增加。对于不同类型的金属微粒缺陷,放电紫外光子数随电压的升高趋势相似,但幅值有所不同。金属丝缺陷下盆式绝缘子表面放电更加严重,在120 kV下表面紫外光子数达到215个。在相同的缺陷下,随着电压的升高,紫外光子数也逐渐增加,但是低压侧存在金属球缺陷时比高压侧存在金属球缺陷时的放电更加剧烈,以120 kV电压为例,低压侧和高压侧金属球缺陷下的表面紫外光子数分别为189个和168个。
图5为高压侧金属丝、高压侧金属球以及低压侧金属球缺陷下GIS盆式绝缘子表面放电的脉冲电压幅值。
图5可以看出,不同缺陷下GIS盆式绝缘子脉冲电压的整体变化趋势与紫外成像结果一致,但是也存在差异,主要区别为低压侧金属球缺陷下GIS盆式绝缘子的表面放电脉冲更为强烈(最大值为236 mV),甚至大于高压侧金属丝缺陷(最大值为218 mV),其主要原因是脉冲电压测量装置位置接近低压侧,低压侧放电的脉冲信号更易于被完全捕捉。
为了进一步分析不同金属微粒缺陷下GIS盆式绝缘子表面放电特性的区别,基于前文所述不同金属微粒缺陷下GIS盆式绝缘子的电场计算方法,计算得到了无缺陷、金属丝缺陷和金属球缺陷下的表面电场分布,其中金属球分别设置在高压侧和低压侧两个位置。
无缺陷时,GIS绝缘子表面电势与电场分布如图6所示。从图6可以看出,电势分布从高压侧向低压侧逐渐减小,在绝缘子附近出现波浪形的畸变;电场较大的部分分布在绝缘子沿面以及绝缘子与中心导体和接地外壳的相交处,电场最大值为3.13 kV/mm。电场的畸变与表面放电较为相关,因此下文将重点考虑表面电场特性。
当存在金属丝和金属球缺陷时,GIS盆式绝缘子的表面电场分布如图7所示,从图7可以看出,金属丝和金属球的存在均大幅增大了GIS盆式绝缘子表面的电场值,且电场最大值位于缺陷两端。
为了进一步分析金属丝和金属球缺陷对GIS盆式绝缘子表面电场影响的差别,统计了不同金属缺陷下金属缺陷侧绝缘子的沿面电场分布,结果如图8所示。从图8可以看出,金属微粒缺陷下,电场的最大值增大较为明显,金属丝缺陷和金属球缺陷位置的电场最大值分别为5.16 kV/mm和4.86 kV/mm,相应位置无缺陷时的电场值分别为1.13 kV/mm和1.26 kV/mm,分别增大了4.57倍和3.86倍,说明存在金属微粒缺陷时,绝缘子表面电场畸变程度较大。
此外统计了金属缺陷在不同位置时绝缘子的沿面电场分布,结果如图9所示。从图9可以看出,金属球缺陷位于高压侧和低压侧时的电场最大值分别为4.86 kV/mm和5.77 kV/mm,相应位置无缺陷时的电场值分别为1.26 kV/mm和1.21 kV/mm,分别增大了3.86倍和4.77倍。
图8仿真结果发现,位于相同位置时金属丝缺陷下最大的表面电场比金属球缺陷下最大的表面电场大0.3 kV/mm,由图4紫外光子试验结果计算得到相同位置的金属丝缺陷(高压侧)平均光子数比金属球缺陷多19.8个,对应的平均脉冲电压幅值增大11.17 mV,说明本文的仿真结果与试验结果变化趋势一致。
对比金属球在不同位置时的仿真与试验结果可以发现,金属球缺陷位于低压侧时的表面最大电场强度比位于高压侧时大0.91 kV/mm,同时光子数增加12.3个,平均脉冲电压幅值增大21.17 mV。由此可知,GIS盆式绝缘子表面存在金属微粒缺陷时,表面的放电强度与电场畸变程度呈正相关,且电场畸变程度与平均脉冲幅值的相关性较大。
基于试验与仿真的方法对不同金属微粒缺陷下GIS盆式绝缘子的表面放电与电场特性进行了研究,主要得到以下结论:
(1)金属丝缺陷下的盆式绝缘子表面放电更加严重,以120 kV电压为例,金属丝和高压侧金属球缺陷下的表面紫外光子数分别为215个和168个。对于不同位置的缺陷,低压侧存在金属球缺陷时的放电比高压侧存在金属球缺陷时更加剧烈。
(2)脉冲电压的测试结果整体趋势与紫外成像结果一致,但也存在差异,主要区别为低压侧金属球缺陷下GIS盆式绝缘子的表面放电脉冲更为强烈(最大值为236 mV),甚至大于高压侧金属丝缺陷下的放电脉冲(最大值为218 mV)。
(3)紫外光子数和脉冲电压幅值试验结果与电场仿真计算结果变化趋势一致,二者可相互印证。相同位置的金属丝缺陷最大表面电场比金属球缺陷最大表面电场大0.3 kV/mm,两者比无缺陷时相应位置的电场值分别增大了4.57倍和3.86倍。
