The thermal effect in the long-term operation of pumped storage generator sets will cause adverse effect on the main insulation performance of stator bars. Taking the VPI stator bar of an 18 kV pumped storage generator as the research object, we prepared samples and designed thermal ageing scheme. By means of dielectric property test, conductivity test, and breakdown characteristic test, the electrical properties of stator insulation under different ageing temperatures and different ageing cycles were explored. The test results show that there is obvious and complete loss peak in the bending section of stator bar. During the thermal ageing process, the dielectric constant frequency spectrum of insulating material shows an increasing trend with the increase of ageing period, and the dielectric constant of the bending section shows a stepwise decreasing trend with the increase of frequency. As thermal ageing progresses, the conductivity of samples increases gradually, and the absorption ratio and polarization index both show a decreasing trend. The breakdown strength of the straight section sample and the bending section sample continues to decrease, and the breakdown strength of the bending section sample decreases more significantly.

抽水蓄能发电机组长期运行过程中的热效应会对定子线棒主绝缘性能造成不利影响。本文以18 kV抽水蓄能机组发电机VPI定子线棒为研究目标,制备试样并设计热老化方案,通过介电性能测试、电导测试及击穿特性测试,探究定子绝缘在不同热老化温度、不同热老化周期下的电学性能变化规律。结果表明:定子线棒弯曲段试样出现了较为明显且完整的损耗峰,在热老化过程中,绝缘材料的介电常数频谱整体随着老化周期的增加呈现增大趋势,其中弯曲段试样的介电常数随频率升高出现阶梯性下降趋势。随着老化的进行,试样的电导率逐渐上升,吸收比与极化指数均呈下降趋势,直线段试样和弯曲段试样的击穿强度均不断降低,其中弯曲段试样的击穿强度下降更为明显。

抽水蓄能发电机组长期运行过程中的热效应会对定子线棒主绝缘性能造成不利影响。本文以18 kV抽水蓄能机组发电机VPI定子线棒为研究目标,制备试样并设计热老化方案,通过介电性能测试、电导测试及击穿特性测试,探究定子绝缘在不同热老化温度、不同热老化周期下的电学性能变化规律。结果表明:定子线棒弯曲段试样出现了较为明显且完整的损耗峰,在热老化过程中,绝缘材料的介电常数频谱整体随着老化周期的增加呈现增大趋势,其中弯曲段试样的介电常数随频率升高出现阶梯性下降趋势。随着老化的进行,试样的电导率逐渐上升,吸收比与极化指数均呈下降趋势,直线段试样和弯曲段试样的击穿强度均不断降低,其中弯曲段试样的击穿强度下降更为明显。

The thermal effect in the long-term operation of pumped storage generator sets will cause adverse effect on the main insulation performance of stator bars. Taking the VPI stator bar of an 18 kV pumped storage generator as the research object, we prepared samples and designed thermal ageing scheme. By means of dielectric property test, conductivity test, and breakdown characteristic test, the electrical properties of stator insulation under different ageing temperatures and different ageing cycles were explored. The test results show that there is obvious and complete loss peak in the bending section of stator bar. During the thermal ageing process, the dielectric constant frequency spectrum of insulating material shows an increasing trend with the increase of ageing period, and the dielectric constant of the bending section shows a stepwise decreasing trend with the increase of frequency. As thermal ageing progresses, the conductivity of samples increases gradually, and the absorption ratio and polarization index both show a decreasing trend. The breakdown strength of the straight section sample and the bending section sample continues to decrease, and the breakdown strength of the bending section sample decreases more significantly.

运行工况的频繁转换以及机组负荷的快速变化使得抽水蓄能发电电动机经受复杂严酷的运行考验[1-3]。以粉云母为基础、环氧胶为粘合剂、玻璃布补强的定子线棒主绝缘体系,在长期持续运行中会因温度升高受热而导致材料特性发生变化。抽水蓄能发电机运行时引起高温发热的因素众多,如铜导体中流过电流产生的热量、局部的放电发热、铁心损耗、涡流损耗与摩擦生热等[4-5]。随着温度的升高,绝缘内部会产生一系列物理与化学反应,导致绝缘老化速度加快,绝缘性能下降,最终导致发电机剩余寿命缩短[6-8]
目前国内外学者对于发电机定子线棒绝缘的热老化特性进行了大量研究。裴景克等[9]分别在纯热与热氧环境下开展了大型发电机定子线棒主绝缘的人工加速模拟老化实验及测试分析研究,为绝缘系统寿命评估提供了材料演变的基础数据。杨敏等[10]通过频域介电谱法测试了不同热老化时间下试样的频域介电谱,分析了热老化时间对介质损耗和相对介电常数的影响。王新等[11]制作了3种典型的定子缺陷模型并对其进行了加速热老化试验,利用脉冲电流法研究了热老化前后定子绝缘缺陷的局部放电特性差异。高俊国等[12]总结了当前几种绝缘寿命预测的方法,并对寿命预测方法进行分类比较,将绝缘预测方法分为基于回归分析的预测、基于智能算法的预测以及基于数据采集的预测。
绝缘电阻测试、局部放电测试、直流耐压及泄漏电流测试等传统的电学性能测试方法在发电机绝缘状态评估上得到了广泛应用[13-15],但是存在模型单一、携带信息有限等缺点。本研究基于介电性能测试、直流电导特性测试及击穿特性测试方法,探究定子绝缘在不同热老化温度、不同热老化周期下的电学性能变化规律。
选用18 kV抽水蓄能机组的运行线棒作为试验初始样本,该线棒已累计工作时长9 768 h。将其切割成段状试样后,将主绝缘剥离切割加工成尺寸为90 mm×80 mm×4 mm的绝缘试样,如图1所示。根据相关标准,抽水蓄能机组运行线棒的最高允许工作温度为155℃,本研究的热老化温度在最高允许工作温度的基础上再分别增加25℃和50℃,即选择180℃和205℃作为电机线棒主绝缘试样加速热老化实验的温度,分别进行6个和4个周期的老化试验,具体方案如表1所示。
对抽水蓄能发电机定子线棒进行多项电学性能测试,包括介电性能测试、直流电导特性测试及击穿特性测试。
介电性能采用Novocontrol technologies公司的Concept80型宽带介电谱测试仪进行测试,选用 1 kV交流电压,测试频率范围为10-3~103 Hz,测试前将试样两面喷金处理,保证测试试样与电极间的接触良好。为排除水分的干扰,测试前将试样在100℃下烘干处理24 h。实际测试中,通过对试样施加一定频率的交流电压,通过计算电流得出试样的电容量,对比试样在真空下的电容量计算得到试样的相对介电常数,而介质损耗因数则由试验测得的电压电流相位差决定。
直流电导特性采用Keithley 6517B型静电计测试,试验前需要对试样进行喷金处理,消除表面电导电流对实验的影响,并消除测量极对地分布电容对测试结果的影响。同时试样需在100℃下烘干24 h,以排除水分对试样电导率测试的影响。
击穿特性使用HCDJC-100kV型电压击穿实验仪测试,可调电压范围为0~100 kV,选取板-板电极作为测试电极,将试样放置于油中进行击穿实验。
介电性能主要包括介电常数和介质损耗这两个参数,介电常数取决于试样在外电场下的偶极矩大小,决定了试样对于外电场的响应能力;而介质损耗则决定了试样在不同频率外电场作用下的损耗值,直接影响着设备绝缘材料的发热情况。因此,通过研究不同老化周期线棒绝缘的介电常数和介质损耗因数,可有效表征试样绝缘特性的变化情况。
180℃和205℃下热老化试样的介电常数与介质损耗因数频谱如图2图3所示。从图2可以看出,随着老化周期的增加,试样的介电常数频谱整体变大,这是由于在长时间加速热老化过程中,电机线棒主绝缘材料中的环氧树脂在高温作用下发生了劣化,试样中的环氧含量降低,而环氧树脂的偶极矩与介电常数(3~4)均小于复合材料中玻璃纤维(4.1)与云母(7~9)的介电常数,因此环氧树脂含量的降低会导致复合材料整体偶极矩增加,从而使得材料的介电常数增大。同时,由于在热老化作用下,试样可能发生侧链氧化过程,在试样内部产生极性基团,这一类极性基团会增大材料局部偶极矩,使材料转向极化增大,从而使整体的介电常数增大。对于弯曲段试样,无论是180℃热老化还是205℃热老化,老化后期试样介电常数随频率升高出现阶梯下降的趋势,如图2(b)(d)所示。
图3可以看出,不同老化周期直线段试样在工频(50 Hz)下的介质损耗因数均低于1%,试验数据在合理范围内。随着老化周期的增加,试样的工频介质损耗因数总体上呈增大趋势,且试样在1 Hz及以上频段的介质损耗因数均大于未老化试样的介质损耗因数,这是由于电机线棒主绝缘材料在热老化的作用下发生劣化,绝缘产生气隙,带来较大的损耗。此外,由于热老化作用,环氧树脂部分链段发生氧化与破坏过程,导致链段更易于转动,使材料整体分子链转动与均方根位移增大,介质损耗因数增大。观察图3(a)(c)可以看到,在所有老化周期下,10-3~103 Hz频率范围均未见到完整的损耗峰,这可能受限于测量频率的范围,测量频率较低时会凸显出完整的损耗峰与峰值。
与介电常数测试结果相对应,在不同温度热老化过程中,弯曲段试样出现了明显而完整的损耗峰,如图3(b)(d)所示,最大损耗峰值随着老化周期的增加而升高,介质损耗因数最大值达到20%(180℃,6周期)。对比图2(b)(d)可知,出现损耗峰的峰值位置对应介电常数阶梯式下降的“阶梯中心”。损耗峰的右移会导致在工频以及kHz级频率下材料的损耗大幅增加,影响绝缘材料的使用寿命。
为便于后续对试样进行工况下老化状态的评估,选取工频下不同老化周期试样的介电常数与介质损耗因数进行对比分析,结果如图4所示。从图4可以看出,随着老化周期的增加,整体上工频下试样的介电常数与介质损耗因数均呈增大趋势,且弯曲段试样在老化末期的增大幅度远大于直线段试样,说明热老化对于试样的介电性能有影响,且对于弯曲段试样的影响更大,热老化导致该处试样的介质损耗因数急剧增大,可能对绝缘材料性能与电力设备安全构成威胁。
利用直流电导测量系统对上述不同老化周期试样进行电导电流测试,测试场强为1 kV/mm,测试方式为持续施加同极性电压10 min,绘制电导电流曲线,测试示意图如图5所示。
测量过程中电流数量级较小(pA级),虽然整体测试设备置于金属烘箱中屏蔽,6517B测试线也做了屏蔽处理,但是测试结果仍易受到环境因素干扰(如气流扰动、温度波动、实验室设备产生的空间电磁波以及接地线的干扰信号等),导致测试结果存在一定范围波动,因此需要对结果进行滤波处理以便于对数据进行更好的分析。使用MATLAB自带filter滤波器进行滤波处理,滤波效果如图6所示。从图6可以看出,经过滤波处理后,原信号中的高频噪声信号被有效滤除,滤波后的信号幅值波动较小,且大幅减少了由于测试环境干扰导致的电流小于零的错误值,便于采集波动幅度较小的数据进行后续定量分析。
两个热老化温度下不同老化周期试样的电流密度测试结果如图7所示。从图7可以看出,该材料在加压过程中,电流在1 min左右快速衰减至较低水平,并缓慢波动下降至稳定状态。对不同老化周期试样10 min内的电导率曲线进行比较,如图8所示。从图8可以看出,随着老化周期的增加,整体电导率曲线变大,说明在同等场强条件下电导率增大。
对直线段试样不同老化周期的试验结果进一步定量分析,取第1、2、5、10 min的数据,绘制对比曲线如图9所示。从图9可以看出,随着老化周期的增加,在测试电流稳定后试样的电导率总体呈上升趋势,最后一个老化周期的电导率均高于未老化试样,205℃热老化最后一个老化周期试样在加压 1 min时的电导率是未老化试样的3倍以上,说明在热老化过程中老化试样的绝缘性能降低。
在直流电导电流测试过程中,绝缘电阻随加压时间的变化也可以反映试样的绝缘特性。吸收比Km指的是加压60 s时的绝缘电阻R60与加压15 s时的绝缘电阻R15之比,即Km=R60/R15;极化指数PI指的是加压10 min时的绝缘电阻R600与加压1 min时的绝缘电阻R60之比,即PI=R600/R60图10为不同温度下热老化试样的极化指数与吸收比。从图10可以看出,随着老化周期的增加,电机线棒主绝缘材料的吸收比与极化指数均呈下降趋势。相比未老化试样,180℃下热老化最长周期试样的吸收比和极化指数分别下降了12%和88%,205℃下热老化最长周期试样的吸收比和极化指数分别下降了10%和51%。
利用击穿特性测试平台对试样进行击穿特性测试。首先对相同尺寸的备用试样进行预测试,由于试样厚度较大,在加压过程中易产生沿面放电,难以直接击穿。此外,该厚度下的击穿试验对电源要求较高,加压过程难以确保高压端不发生明显的局部放电。依据GB/T 1408.1—2016对待测试样进行加工研磨处理,先使用研磨机将试样进行单面打磨至厚度约为2 mm,接着使用磨砂纸对打磨面进行细化处理,减小表面粗糙度。将打磨好的试样擦净后置于100℃烘箱中烘焙24 h后取出,测量厚度后进行击穿特性测试。为保证实验值的可信度与重复性,选用两参数威布尔分布函数对击穿电压测试结果进行统计学分析,威布尔分布函数如式(1)所示。

式(1)中:P为概率密度分布函数;Eb为试样击穿强度;α为尺度参数,代表击穿概率为63.2%时试样的击穿强度;β为形状参数,代表着实验测试数据的分散性,值越大代表着数据分散性越小,实验数据重复性越好。
每个老化周期试样进行10次击穿测试,绘制得到不同老化周期试样击穿强度的威布尔分布曲线如图11所示,得到威布尔分布参数如表2所示,表中以“老化温度-老化周期”的形式对试样进行编号。
图11表2可以看出,老化周期较短的试样形状参数较大,说明该试样测试结果分散性较小,试验结果较为可信。随着老化周期的增加,直线段试样的威布尔击穿数值降低,尺度参数变小,180℃与205℃下热老化最长周期后试样的击穿强度分别降低至未老化试样的76.4%与77.8%,说明在以上两种老化条件下,直线段试样绝缘特性已经发生了较大程度的变化,其绝缘强度大幅降低,这也验证了电导电流测试结果的正确性。在长期应力作用下,弯曲段试样的绝缘特性同样发生了变化,通过弯曲段试样击穿测试结果可以看出,材料的不均匀性导致测得的尺度参数均较小,弯曲段试样的击穿强度低于直线段试样,180℃与205℃下热老化最长周期试样的击穿强度分别降低至未老化试样的68.9%与74.9%。
本文以18 kV抽水蓄能发电机VPI定子线棒绝缘为研究对象,制备了直线段和弯曲段试样并设计加速热老化试验,对其进行介电性能、直流电导特性及击穿特性测量,研究绝缘材料热老化前后电学特性变化规律,得出以下结论:
(1)在热老化过程中,试样的介电常数频谱整体随老化周期的增加呈增大趋势,但弯曲段试样的介电常数随频率升高出现阶梯下降趋势;试样的工频介质损耗因数随着老化周期的增加不断增大,弯曲段试样出现了较为明显且完整的损耗峰,损耗峰的峰值位置对应其介电常数阶梯式下降的“阶梯中心”。
(2)随着老化周期的增加,试样的电导率逐渐上升,吸收比与极化指数均呈下降趋势,相比未老化试样,180℃热老化最长周期试样的吸收比和极化指数分别下降了12%和88%,205℃热老化最长周期试样的吸收比和极化指数分别下降了10%和51%。
(3)在热老化过程中,直线段试样的击穿强度不断降低,180℃与205℃热老化最长周期试样的击穿强度分别降低至未老化试样击穿强度的76.4%与77.8%。弯曲段试样的击穿强度也不断降低,180℃与205℃热老化最长周期试样的击穿强度分别降低至未老化试样击穿强度的68.9%与74.9%。
