The effects of temperature and DC electric field on the diffusion characteristics of water molecules in nano-SiO2 modified vegetable insulating oil were analyzed by molecular simulation. The results show that the water molecules in the model is polarized under the influence of strong electric field, and the initial disordered arrangement is rapidly transformed into an ordered arrangement along the electric field. When water molecules are bounded by electric field, the Brownian motion intensity of water molecules becomes weak, and the diffusion strength of water molecules in vegetable oil is weaken. At the same time, the electric field increase the interaction energy between water molecules and vegetable oil molecules, which makes the combination between them more closely, and weakens the influence of temperature on the interaction energy. In addition, the free volume of model is smaller after the application of electric filed, and the peak value of radial distribution is lower in the radial distribution diagram.

运用分子模拟的方法,探究温度和直流电场对水分子在纳米SiO2改性植物绝缘油中扩散特性的影响。结果表明:在强电场影响下,模型中的水分子被极化,从最初的无序排列迅速转变为沿着电场方向的有序排列。水分子被电场束缚导致自身的布朗运动强度变弱,使得水分子在植物绝缘油介质中的扩散能力减弱。同时电场增大了水分子与植物绝缘油分子之间的相互作用能,使两者之间结合得更加紧密,并使温度对相互作用能的影响减弱。此外,施加电场后模型的自由体积更小,径向分布图上波峰峰值更低。

运用分子模拟的方法,探究温度和直流电场对水分子在纳米SiO2改性植物绝缘油中扩散特性的影响。结果表明:在强电场影响下,模型中的水分子被极化,从最初的无序排列迅速转变为沿着电场方向的有序排列。水分子被电场束缚导致自身的布朗运动强度变弱,使得水分子在植物绝缘油介质中的扩散能力减弱。同时电场增大了水分子与植物绝缘油分子之间的相互作用能,使两者之间结合得更加紧密,并使温度对相互作用能的影响减弱。此外,施加电场后模型的自由体积更小,径向分布图上波峰峰值更低。

The effects of temperature and DC electric field on the diffusion characteristics of water molecules in nano-SiO2 modified vegetable insulating oil were analyzed by molecular simulation. The results show that the water molecules in the model is polarized under the influence of strong electric field, and the initial disordered arrangement is rapidly transformed into an ordered arrangement along the electric field. When water molecules are bounded by electric field, the Brownian motion intensity of water molecules becomes weak, and the diffusion strength of water molecules in vegetable oil is weaken. At the same time, the electric field increase the interaction energy between water molecules and vegetable oil molecules, which makes the combination between them more closely, and weakens the influence of temperature on the interaction energy. In addition, the free volume of model is smaller after the application of electric filed, and the peak value of radial distribution is lower in the radial distribution diagram.

伴随着电力系统的发展,人们对电力系统各组成元件的要求也在提高,变压器是电力系统中最主要的构成元件。在高压变压器中,大约75%的故障是因绝缘问题导致的[1-3]。因此,变压器运行的稳定性及其使用寿命主要取决于变压器绝缘系统[4-5]。变压器绝缘油在变压器绝缘系统中起着重要的作用,当前变压器中使用的绝缘油以矿物油为主,其具有良好的介电性能和冷却性能[6-7]。然而,由于石油储备的快速消耗、矿物油的不可生物降解等原因,植物绝缘油这一新型环保材料受到关注。与矿物油相比,植物绝缘油具有闪点高、燃点高、低碳无毒、易于降解等特点,在安全可靠的前提下来源广泛,是矿物油理想的替代品。
变压器工作时,油纸绝缘系统在温度、电场、机械振动以及其他应力的共同作用下会随着时间的增加逐步老化,使变压器内部水分含量增加,水分累积和扩散又会导致绝缘系统老化速度加快,最终导致绝缘系统力学性能及电气性能下降[8-10]。此外,温度与电场强度的变化也会使水分子的扩散强度发生改变[11-13],其中电场对绝缘系统的老化有较大影响。油纸绝缘系统内的水分子受电场的影响会发生定向迁移,水分子会在油纸界面堆集,导致某一区域内起始放电的电压减小,绝缘系统性能恶化。所以研究在温度与电场变化下水分子的扩散特性可以更好地对电气绝缘设备运行状况进行监测及评估。
相关研究表明,将合适的纳米粒子添加到变压器绝缘油中可以改善变压器绝缘油的绝缘强度[14]。陈牧天[15]发现TiO2纳米粒子改性矿物油的雷电冲击电压和工频击穿电压均高于纯矿物油。张宝亮等[16]研究了植物绝缘油在不同粒径的Fe3O4纳米粒子改性下绝缘性能的变化规律,发现添加合适半径大小的Fe3O4纳米粒子可以提升植物绝缘油纸系统的击穿电压。最近几年,分子模拟技术在绝缘材料的微观机理分析中被大规模运用。YE W Y等[17]采用分子模拟技术对矿物油、植物绝缘油中不同气体小分子的扩散作用进行了研究。廖瑞金等[18]运用分子模拟技术对纤维素与矿物油作用于油纸绝缘体系的性能进行了研究。
目前运用分子模拟技术对油纸绝缘系统进行研究的主体大多针对矿物油,关于植物绝缘油的研究相对较少,更缺乏直流电场对纳米SiO2改性植物绝缘油中水分子扩散行为的研究,而温度与直流电场共同作用会综合性地对绝缘油的电气性能产生影响。鉴于此,本研究采用分子模拟技术探究温度及直流电场对水分子在SiO2改性植物绝缘油中扩散特性的影响,从微观角度为SiO2改性植物绝缘油的电气性能影响提供理论支持。
本研究构建了植物绝缘油、水与SiO2纳米粒子的混合模型,使用的仿真软件为Materials Studio 2019。本次仿真实验是在文献[19]的基础上构建FR3植物绝缘油分子模型进行的,现实条件下FR3植物绝缘油中各类脂肪酸质量分数如表1所示。植物绝缘油中的脂肪酸分为饱和脂肪酸和不饱和脂肪酸,其中饱和脂肪酸分为硬脂酸和棕榈酸,不饱和脂肪酸分为单、双、三不饱和脂肪酸,分别对应为油酸、亚油酸和亚麻酸。故本文仿真模型中5种脂肪酸的配比为:硬脂酸3个,棕榈酸2个,油酸10个,亚油酸4个,亚麻酸1个,5种脂肪酸经结构优化和退火处理后成为植物绝缘油模型。图1为SiO2粒子模型,其半径为5 Å,占共混模型总质量的3%,且模型中的不饱和键由H原子进行补位,另添加10个水分子,质量占比为1%。图2为植物绝缘油、水和SiO2粒子的混合模型,尺寸为32 Å×32 Å×32 Å。
在进行分子动力学模拟和模型优化时,选用COMPASS力场,因为COMPASS力场可以有效地统一有机体系力场与无机体系力场,在处理共混体系时具有更准确的精度。先将5种脂肪酸分别进行结构优化和退火处理。采用Smart方法进行10 000步优化,当结构平衡后,在温度为300~900 K内,以每50 K为1个间隔,循环退火5次,即可得到能量较低的稳定状态。
之后利用Material Studio中的包装功能按照上文的脂肪酸配比进行共混模型的构建,将全部模型密度都设置为0.9 g/cm3,共混模型搭建完成之后,再次对该共混模型进行1次结构优化以及退火处理,用来保证共混模型的总能量处于最低值,使模型状态更稳定,最后对共混模型进行动力学运算。首先将模型置于NPT系综中进行仿真计算,仿真时间为200 ps,积分步长为1 fs,每隔500 fs采集1次动力学信息;然后使用PERL添加电场,将模型置于NVT系综进行仿真计算,同样地,仿真时间为200 ps,积分步长为1 fs,每隔500 fs采集1次动力学信息,电场强度设置为1010 V/m,模拟施加的电场强度比现实运行时的电场强度大很多,其原因是电场对于水分子扩散作用的影响在该电场强度下最为显著,并且有效克服了真空条件下分子的热运动,从而减少运行时间[20-21]
水分子的运动会使绝缘系统的介电性能降低、介质损耗增大、使用寿命缩短。因此需要探究温度和直流电场的变化对改性植物绝缘油中水分子运动的影响规律。水分子的运动可利用均方位移(MSD)来表示,MSD代表在t时刻时粒子与各自起始点之间距离的平均值,如式(1)所示。

将MSD对时间的曲线拟合得到y=ax+b的形式,记录下斜率a。水分子的扩散系数(D)可由式(2)得到。

式(2)中:N表示整个模型中水分子的个数,因MSD已对所有原子做了平均计算,所以式(2)可化简为式(3)

式(3)中,a为拟合曲线的斜率。
首先,在温度为343 K时分别对模型的X、Y、Z 3个方向施加1010 V/m的电场强度,并对3个方向的MSD进行分析,结果如图3所示。由图3可知,在3个方向上施加电场后水分子的扩散规律近乎相同。以在X轴施加电场为例,施加电场后水分子呈各向异性扩散,但在X轴分量方向上水分子的MSD明显大于另外两个轴,这是由于强电场使水分子在X轴上受到了沿电场方向的库仑推力,运动距离相对更远。而在Y轴与Z轴施加电场时也有类似效果,所以下文以X轴方向施加电场进行分析。
为了探究在不同电场强度下,温度的改变对纳米SiO2改性植物绝缘油中水分子扩散能力的影响,模拟温度在303~383 K时水分子分别在有电场和无电场状态下的扩散行为,图4为电场条件下水分子的均方位移。从图4可以看出,随着温度的升高,水分子的均方位移逐渐增大,这是由于温度越高,水分子的动能越大,无规则运动越剧烈。同时随着温度的升高,模型中植物绝缘油介质对水分子的束缚也在减弱,致使水分子的均方位移呈现增大趋势。表2为不同温度、不同电场强度下水分子的扩散系数。从表2可以看出,水分子在电场下的扩散系数值远低于无电场下的值,且随着温度的升高差距进一步增大。说明相较于温度,电场对水分子的扩散行为影响更大。这是因为水是极性分子,在强电场下水分子会被瞬间极化,使得水分子从原来的无序排列转变为有序排列。随着转向极化的完成,强电场对水分子的束缚作用增强,导致水分子的布朗运动减弱,扩散系数降低。可见电场能削弱植物绝缘油中水分子的运动能力。
自由体积是另一个表征分子扩散能力的参数,它在聚合物中以空穴的形式分布,正是因为自由体积的存在,分子才能在聚合物中运动。自由体积越大,分子的扩散能力也越大。自由体积分数(FFV)的计算公式如式(4)所示。

式(4)中:VO为分子的占有体积;VF为未被分子占有的自由体积。
图5是温度为343 K时模型分别在无电场和有电场状态下的自由体积情况,其中蓝色部分代表VF,灰色部分代表VO。从图5可以看出,施加电场前后模型的自由体积出现的位置和截面大小都发生了变化,施加电场前蓝色区域较多且截面较大,施加电场后蓝色区域较少且截面较小。
表3是模拟温度范围为303~383 K时共混模型分别在有电场和无电场状态下的自由体积。从表3可以看出,随着温度的升高,无论有电场和无电场下模型的自由体积都增大,这是因为温度升高使得模型中水分子的热运动加剧。而在外加电场作用下,模型自由体积比无电场状态时要小得多,说明温度场和电场的变化均对模型的自由体积有影响,但电场在其中起主导作用。这是由于强电场使模型中的水分子在一定范围内有序排列,水分子的运动受到电场的约束导致模型自由体积减小。
影响植物绝缘油中水分子扩散特性的要素还包括水与植物绝缘油分子间的相互作用能。含有3种不同物质的模型,其中两种物质的相互作用能E可由式(5)计算得到[20]

式(5)中:ET是模型的总势能;EA是植物绝缘油的势能;EB是水分子的势能;EA+C是植物绝缘油与纳米粒子的势能合;EB+C是水分子和纳米粒子的势能合;EC是纳米粒子的势能;EA+B是植物绝缘油和水分子的势能合。
若相互作用能数值为正,则说明两种物质相互排斥;若相互作用能数值为负,则说明两种物质之间相互吸引,且绝对值越大,物质之间的吸引力越大。
表4为无电场和有电场作用时植物绝缘油和水分子间的相互作用能,其中Etotal代表总相互作用能,Evdw代表范德华相互作用能,Eelec代表静电相互作用能。由表4可知,水与植物绝缘油分子间的相互作用主要由静电作用组成,这是由于植物绝缘油的相对分子量较大,而相对分子量较小的水分子更容易与植物绝缘油分子间产生静电吸引作用,因此二者间相互作用能的构成以静电相互作用能为主。
随着温度的升高,无论有无电场,植物绝缘油和水分子间的相互作用能数值都逐渐减小,证明两者之间的结合作用逐渐减弱。但施加电场后的相互作用能数值随温度升高而减小的趋势远小于未施加电场时,在模拟温度从303 K上升至383 K的过程中,施加电场时相互作用能降低了11.2%,而未施加电场时相互作用能降低了40.4%。可见电场的存在不但使植物绝缘油与水分子结合得更紧密,且降低了温度对两者的影响。施加电场后模型的相互作用能数值高于未施加电场时的数值,说明在强电场下植物绝缘油和水分子结合得更加紧密,水分子被植物绝缘油分子束缚,导致扩散强度减弱。
径向分布函数(RDF)定义为在距离1个标记粒子r处存在其他粒子的可能性。图6是模型在温度为303 K和383 K时无电场和有电场情况下氧原子与氢原子之间的RDF函数。
图6可以看出,图中存在3个明显的波峰。在1 Å附近出现的波峰代表着氢原子和氧原子之间的直接共价键;2.1 Å附近形成的波峰代表氧原子和氢原子之间形成的氢键;2.6 Å附近出现的波峰代表着纳米SiO2团簇上氧原子和氢原子之间生成的分子内氢键。由峰值可知,同一温度下无电场时的峰值显著高于有电场时的峰值,表明水分子与植物绝缘油之间的氢键作用被电场削弱。其原因大概为施加电场后模型中的水分子沿着电场有序排列,从而摆脱了自身原本的氢键约束。而在同一个电场环境下,升温会导致模型中分子的剧烈运动,使模型有序性降低,氢键形成的数目减少,致使图6中RDF峰值降低。
运用分子模拟技术对改性植物绝缘油中水分子在不同温度及直流电场作用下的扩散行为进行了研究,得到如下结论:
(1)电场作用下水分子发生极化反应,从最初的无序排列转变成沿着电场方向的有序排列。电场极大影响了水分子的扩散行为,温度对其的影响程度不如电场。电场作用下水分子的均方位移、自由体积远小于同状态下无电场时的数值,在电场下水分子的扩散能力减弱。
(2)电场增大了水分子与植物绝缘油之间相互作用能的绝对值,使两者间结合得更加紧密。随着温度的升高,模型中水分子运动强度增大,导致水分子与植物绝缘油相互作用能的绝对值降低,但施加电场后数值降低的幅度远小于未施加电场的情况,说明电场的存在不但使植物绝缘油与水分子结合得更紧密,且降低了温度对两者的影响。
(3)电场会削弱分子间的氢键作用,其中包括水分子与植物绝缘油之间的氢键作用。其原因大概为施加电场后模型中的水分子沿着电场有序排列,从而摆脱了自身原本的氢键约束。升温会导致模型中O原子与H原子径向分布函数的峰值降低,其原因可能是温度的升高加剧了模型中水分子的运动,使模型有序性降低。
