The existing detection and evaluation technology for composite insulator mainly relies on offline methods, which is difficult to assess the ageing degree of insulators in large-scale operation quickly and conveniently. This article proposes a rapid detection and rating method for surface ageing degree of composite insulators based on hyperspectral technology. At first, the Fourier infrared spectral absorption peaks of Si-O-Si and Si-CH3 between the umbrella skirt and the substrate of aged composite insulator were compared, and then the ageing degree of insulator was rated. At last, the aging degree of insulator was classificated combining hyperspectral data with SVM algorithm models. The results show that the accuracy of the three classifications including slight, moderate, and severe is 71.8%, while the accuracy of the two classifications including sligh and severe is 97.3%. By using intensity threshold segmentation method, it is possible to remove contaminated areas from composite insulator images, and extract ageing areas.

现有的复合绝缘子检测评价技术以离线方式为主,难以对大规模运行中绝缘子的老化程度开展快速、便捷的判断。本文提出一种基于高光谱技术的复合绝缘子表面老化程度快速检测及评级方法。首先通过比较老化复合绝缘子伞裙和基体的Si-O-Si、Si-CH3傅里叶红外光谱吸收峰对老化程度进行分级,然后利用高光谱数据并结合SVM算法模型对绝缘子老化程度进行分类。结果表明:“轻度、中度、重度”老化分类的准确度为71.8%,“轻度、重度”分类的准确度为97.3%。通过强度阈值分割方法,可以从复合绝缘子图像中剔除污损区域,抽取出老化区域。

现有的复合绝缘子检测评价技术以离线方式为主,难以对大规模运行中绝缘子的老化程度开展快速、便捷的判断。本文提出一种基于高光谱技术的复合绝缘子表面老化程度快速检测及评级方法。首先通过比较老化复合绝缘子伞裙和基体的Si-O-Si、Si-CH3傅里叶红外光谱吸收峰对老化程度进行分级,然后利用高光谱数据并结合SVM算法模型对绝缘子老化程度进行分类。结果表明:“轻度、中度、重度”老化分类的准确度为71.8%,“轻度、重度”分类的准确度为97.3%。通过强度阈值分割方法,可以从复合绝缘子图像中剔除污损区域,抽取出老化区域。

The existing detection and evaluation technology for composite insulator mainly relies on offline methods, which is difficult to assess the ageing degree of insulators in large-scale operation quickly and conveniently. This article proposes a rapid detection and rating method for surface ageing degree of composite insulators based on hyperspectral technology. At first, the Fourier infrared spectral absorption peaks of Si-O-Si and Si-CH3 between the umbrella skirt and the substrate of aged composite insulator were compared, and then the ageing degree of insulator was rated. At last, the aging degree of insulator was classificated combining hyperspectral data with SVM algorithm models. The results show that the accuracy of the three classifications including slight, moderate, and severe is 71.8%, while the accuracy of the two classifications including sligh and severe is 97.3%. By using intensity threshold segmentation method, it is possible to remove contaminated areas from composite insulator images, and extract ageing areas.

复合绝缘子具备质量轻、抗污性强、憎水性好、使用寿命长等特征[1-3]。我国在20世纪80年代就开始逐步推广使用复合绝缘子,如今复合绝缘子已经广泛地应用在高压传输电网中,根据有关资料预测,当下我国复合绝缘子的使用数量已经超过了五百万只。电力系统的实践表明,随着运行时间的增加,复合绝缘子材料的老化情况较为严重。特别是在海南高温、高湿、高盐密和强紫外线的热带环境下,复合绝缘子受到光、热、酸碱腐蚀以及电晕的联合作用,老化失效的问题尤为突出。根据截至2021年的统计数据,海南省电力系统使用35~220 kV绝缘子共计20余万串,其中硅橡胶复合绝缘子应用比例占90%。近80%的问题复合绝缘子缺陷集中在长时间运行的绝缘老化。而运行的复合绝缘子中,近1/3已经超过10年,对其材料老化状态进行评价迫在眉睫。
目前,主流的复合绝缘子老化状态检测及评价采用摘样离线检测的方式开展[4-6],虽然离线检测有其精细化、全面化的检测评价优点,但是对于大量服役年限较长的复合绝缘子的大规模检测,仍然存在不足:①样品摘取的便利性,摘样需要结合停电计划或者带电开展,便捷程度受到影响,运行绝缘子经离线检测后也无法再使用,对绝缘子存在一定程度的损耗;②样品的代表性,摘样不便也决定着同一线路无法摘取大量的绝缘子开展检测从而综合评价整条线路绝缘子的老化程度,考虑到线路的跨度,仅仅依靠抽检的几支绝缘子评价整条线路绝缘子的老化状态,缺乏统计意义;③数据样本的丰富性,受限于摘样检测工作模式,意味着无法开展大规模的检测,每年老化数据的积累量有限,这也制约了后续老化评价指标的优化。
随着无人机巡线的普及,基于无人机搭载不同用途的检测传感器对输电线路各种结构件开展状态评价已逐步成为主流[7-8]。高光谱成像使用连续光谱通道来获取地物目标的光谱与图像信息,因为物质成分与结构的差别会导致其内部对于不同波长的光子的吸收与反射特征都不同,所以对于反射光谱具备“指纹”效应[9-11]。根据M FLORKOWSKI[11]的初步研究结果,不同老化程度的复合绝缘子的高光谱谱线在幅值、峰值及其变化趋势均存在差异,高光谱谱线能够很好地反映不同物质之间微观差别所造成的谱线差别,因此可以利用光谱分析技术来判断复合绝缘子的老化程度与特性,量化复合绝缘子的老化特性等指标,实现对于复合绝缘子老化状态的检测。高光谱成像技术也可搭载于无人机云台,结合无人机日常巡线,实现对复合绝缘子老化状态的现场快速、大规模检测[12-13]
本研究的总体目标在于设计小型成像光谱仪及其相关光源,以此为基础来构建小型化高光谱成像仪,用于获取复合绝缘子老化状态的高光谱数据,构建高光谱数据库,设计相应的光谱分析算法,实现对复合绝缘子伞裙材料的快速量化扫查,进一步制定基于高光谱量化评价绝缘子老化状态的分级评价方法。
小型化成像光谱仪主要包括成像镜头、分光系统和CMOS数字相机。成像镜头的机械后焦点与狭缝重合,使得空间探测对象成像在狭缝上。分光系统是整个小型化高光谱成像仪的核心,包括狭缝、胶合透镜、光栅。胶合透镜的背焦点需要与狭缝重合,用于将透过狭缝的发散光准直。胶合透镜的选择可较好地消除光线聚焦过程中的色差。光栅位于胶合透镜后,通过光栅的衍射分光会造成光线偏折。整个分光系统的工作过程描述如下:光线经过成像镜头后,聚焦于成像镜头焦面的狭缝上,透过狭缝的光线进入双胶合透镜,双胶合透镜的前焦面与狭缝重合,然后光线被双胶合透镜准直输出,穿过光栅后由于衍射被偏折15°并生成第一衍射图像。因此,CMOS数字相机和光栅之间要设计合适的角度来接收400~1 000 nm的光谱信息。在实际机械设计中,使用反射镜调整入射角度,使得CMOS数字相机可以完整获取第一衍射图像。
为了提高检测效率,本研究设计并制作自动传送平台(如图1所示)及相关控制程序。平台将小型化高光谱成像仪与光源进行整合,通过传送带实现样品的全局扫描,提高样品检测自动化程度。光源输出的光谱范围为450~900 nm,光强抖动度<10%,波长变化率<10%。平台传送带模块可实现1~10 m/min可调,可同时实现8片样品快速检测。高光谱成像仪在平台上可进行高度调节。
为了提高复合绝缘子高光谱数据库的普适性,按照海南不同方位、不同污区分别摘取试验用的运行复合绝缘子,得到共覆盖31条线路的166支绝缘子,具体摘取情况如表1所示。按照DL/T 374—2010《电力系统污区分布图绘制方法》定义5个污秽等级来表征现场污秽严重程度,其中a、b、c、d、e分别表示污秽等级为非常轻、轻、中、重、非常重。
复合绝缘子的伞裙材料为硅橡胶,其分子包含有构成分子主链的Si-O-Si键以及表征憎水性的CH和Si-CH3基团。在光、热、电等外界能量作用下,Si-O-Si键、Si-CH3基团会发生断裂导致硅橡胶发生材料老化,憎水性下降。而Si-O-Si键、Si-CH3基团在其红外特征波段存在吸收峰[14],根据朗伯比尔定律,红外吸收峰强与基团的含量成正比。因此,硅橡胶的老化在红外光谱上表现为Si-O-Si键、Si-CH3基团特征吸收峰强的下降。文献[15-16]研究结果表明,硅橡胶老化的深度在几百毫米范围,因此取2 mm以下的伞裙硅橡胶基体可代表初始未老化状态,将硅橡胶表层与基体Si-O-Si、Si-CH3基团的特征吸收峰面积相比,可用以衡量其老化的程度。
实验前首先将运行复合绝缘子伞裙片进行裁剪,得到可用于开展傅里叶红外光谱和高光谱检测的试验样品。为保证光谱数据的准确性,所有样品均使用酒精进行清洗,以便构建不受污秽影响的老化复合绝缘子高光谱数据库。为完成老化程度的标准探测,使用傅里叶红外光谱仪(德国布鲁克公司,Tensor27型)采集老化绝缘子的红外光谱数据。为了表征复合绝缘子的老化程度,在距样品上表面2~3 mm位置处,沿平行于上表面的方向将样品切开,切面作为对应样品的基体测试对象,取样过程如图2所示。通过比较伞裙表面和基体的红外光谱特征吸收峰的强弱变化量化绝缘子老化程度。将经过红外光谱检测后的绝缘子放置于自制的样品传送带上,利用研制的小型高光谱成像仪获取绝缘子的高光谱数据立方,如图3所示。
根据参考文献[17-20]可知,在600~4 000 cm-1波数下,主要包括主链Si-O-Si、Si-O吸收峰及侧链Si-CH3、-CH及处于多种化学环境而呈现多个吸收峰的-OH吸收峰群。随着老化时间的增加,没有产生新的峰,且各个峰的位置在横向上没有发生偏移,但几个代表基团对应的吸收峰峰高和峰面积均发生变化,即其相对含量随老化时间增加而发生改变。吸收峰下降较为明显的是Si-O-Si、Si-CH3,分别对应主链和侧链老化情况,而且老化越严重对应的两个吸收峰越弱,说明伞裙材料裂解老化导致主链和侧链发生断裂,伞裙硅橡胶材料分子结构发生变化。为了量化老化严重程度,为基于高光谱的原位检测技术提供判断依据,定义复合绝缘子伞裙样品的表面红外光谱Si-O-Si、Si-CH3特征吸收峰面积SC,硅橡胶样品的基体红外光谱Si-O-Si、Si-CH3特征吸收峰面积为SC,计算Si-O-Si、Si-CH3特征吸收峰面积衰减程度△S和△C,计算公式为式(1)~(2)。

经过试验总结,利用红外光谱特征峰比值法对运行中复合绝缘子的老化程度进行分级判断,老化程度分级标准如表2所示。
复合绝缘子通过自动传送带后采集高光谱立方数据,并保存于三维数组specdate中,它包含x,y,λ三个坐标轴,其中x轴和y轴表示二维图像信息,λ轴表示波长信息。通常情况下,高光谱立方数据中包含绝缘子表面的光谱数据外,还包含部分传送带表面的光谱数据。图4展示了高光谱立方数据中原始图像在y坐标方向的分割示意图,在该图中包含了8个绝缘子样品,因为绝缘子样品表面的反射率相较于传送带表面较高,所以在该原始图像中绝缘子位置的灰度值相比传动带表面要大,换言之绝缘子区域的图像灰度值高于传送带表面的图像灰度值。为了将一张高光谱立方数据中的绝缘子光谱提取出来,首先要对图像进行分割,图像分割主要针对数据的x轴和y轴进行。
第一步,沿x轴对图像采用列遍历模式,在遍历过程中引入阈值,根据前期多次实验得出阈值为15时能够较好的区分图像内容。当检测到该列中有一个点的灰度值大于阈值时,就提取该列x坐标值并认定该列存在绝缘子,然后跳转到下一列遍历。循环上述过程,就可以获得所有绝缘子所在位置的x坐标值。x坐标分割示意图如图5所示,在该示例中绝缘子的x坐标由4段连续的x坐标值组成,4段坐标之间都存在较大间隙。通过间隙检测,将x坐标值分割为4个区间即x1x2x3x4,每个区间内存在2个绝缘子。
第二步,对x1x2x3x4坐标区间内图像分别沿y轴行遍历,类似的当该行中有一个点的灰度值大于阀值时,就认定该列存在绝缘子并提取该列y坐标值,然后跳转到下一行遍历。对每一个区间进行行遍历就可以获得所有绝缘子所在位置的y坐标值。如图5所示,每个区间的两个绝缘子由两段段连续的y坐标值组成,x1区间中两个绝缘子的y坐标值可确定为y1y2。当4个区间均进行行遍历后,一张图片中的8个绝缘子被分割开。至此,可完成高光谱立方数据中绝缘子位置的提取。
第三步,因为绝缘子样品为非规则结构,每一个方形区域内还存在一定量的背景区域,对8个绝缘子的坐标区间分别进行全局遍历,即遍历区间中的每一个点。依然采用与第一步相同的阈值进行检测,将所有灰度值大于阈值的像素点xy坐标保存到二维数组中。当全局遍历结束后,二维数组中所存坐标就是该绝缘子表面的全部坐标,通过8次全局遍历即可提取图中8个绝缘子的全部坐标。至此,图像分割的步骤完成。
第四步,结合第三步中所保存坐标从specdate三维数组提取每个坐标下的光谱数据,并将每个绝缘子的光谱数据保存在一个二维数组中,并依据该绝缘子的老化程度对该数组进行分类。基于摘取的156组复合绝缘子(高压端和低压端各一个),可获得绝缘子光谱数组312个。相应地,样品可通过前面基于红外光谱的老化程度分级定义确定其严重程度,将红外峰峰比值参数分为3个参数区间,其中45%及以下代表重度老化、45%~75%代表中度老化、75%及以上代表轻度老化。在本次实验中,重度老化样本数据206个,中度老化样本数据38个,轻度老化样本数据68个。结合上述绝缘子反射高光谱数据,使用MATLAB环境下的LibSVM软件包,通过支持向量机SVM算法构建高光谱数据与复合绝缘子老化程度两者之间的分类模型,分类的准确性与核函数和超参数有关。
分类测试结果1:利用SVM对绝缘子进行三分类,样本总数为312,其中训练集个数为234,测试集个数为78,训练集与测试集比值约为3∶1。利用SVM对234个绝缘子光谱数据进行训练,获取最优的参数。采用非线性多项式核的分类准确率为71.8%,惩罚参数c=8、g=0.2,多项式核函数的项次数为3。当前分类误差来源主要是轻度老化与中度老化的判断。首先,当前轻度老化和中度老化的样本数目偏少,造成训练量不足。其次,由于绝缘子样本理化性能相对复杂,往往单个绝缘子不同部位的老化程度存在一定差异,这造成绝缘子老化标准判断的困难,标准判断的难度也造成高光谱分类的精度下降。
分类测试结果2:为进一步判断分类误差来源,将红外峰峰比值参数分为两个参数区间,认为红外峰峰比值在75%及以下为严重老化,75%以上代表轻度老化。同样的利用SVM对绝缘子进行二分类,不同质量等级的绝缘子具有不同的光谱。样本总数为312,其中训练集个数为239,测试集个数为73,训练集与测试集比值约为3∶1。利用SVM对239个绝缘子光谱数据进行训练,获取最优的参数。采用多项式核的分类准确率为97.3%,惩罚参数c=16、g=0.4,多项式核函数的项次数为3。通过上述分析,可以发现误差来源主要是红外峰峰比值在45%以下,以及45%~75%这两个区间的分类不准确。主要原因在于,当前使用的红外峰峰比值大于75%的样本量相对较少,红外峰峰比值小于45%的样本量相对充足,后续还需要进一步增加轻度老化和中度老化的样本量,提高模型的训练精度,并最终提高分类模型准确性。
本工作研制的高光谱成像仪具有结构小巧、探测效率高、老化程度自动化区分效果较好的特点,具有实现在线检测的潜力。然而,在线检测不同于实验室检测,会受到大量客观因素影响。比如,绝缘子表面的污损就会影响老化程度分析的精度。为探索高光谱成像仪的在线检测可行性,首先要研究如何分离绝缘子表面的污损区域,为此本文进一步研究了老化区域与污损区域反射光谱的特点。
在绝缘子老化程度分析过程中,绝缘子表面的污损会产生极大干扰。考虑到高光谱成像仪与无人机搭载的应用,在现场原位检测过程无法对绝缘子表面进行预处理,因此有必要利用算法排除绝缘子污损的影响。图6图7分别展示了20个绝缘子表面污秽区域反射光谱和表面老化区域反射光谱。通过对20个绝缘子进行对比以及对高光谱数据进行分析后,可以知道,污损严重区域由于对污秽物质的吸收,其表面相对较暗,而老化区域由于粉化,呈现红色偏白的表观效果。通过光谱探测可以发现,样品中老化区域的光谱强度明显强于污秽区域光谱强度,并且老化区域的光谱在600 nm以上波段的占比更高。因此,结合光强阈值分割,可以从图像中剔除污损区域,抽取出老化区域,抽取结果如图8所示。
(1)通过比较老化复合绝缘子伞裙和基体傅里叶红外光谱吸收峰对老化程度进行分级。在高光谱检测实验过程中,所有样品反射光谱由系统自动探测,人为干扰较少,并使用经典SVM算法对高光谱数据进行训练以及测试。通过客观测试获得71.8%以上的分类精度。当前引起误差的主要因素是轻度老化样本相对较少,因为电力系统中摘取的大部分为中度或重度老化样本,对于轻度老化样本较少摘取。在减少分类数量后,分类精度达到97.3%,这也从侧面说明当前误差主要来自于轻度老化样本。
(2)复合绝缘子表面污损降低了绝缘子表面的反射强度。通过光谱探测实验可知,污损区域与老化区域的光谱波形与光谱强度存在差异。结合光强阈值分割方法,可以从图像中剔除污损区域,抽取出老化区域。
