On the basis of laser ultrasonic technology, a peak reconstruction algorithm of surface wave was studied, and an experimental platform of two-dimensional laser excitation scanning laser ultrasonic detection for basin insulators was built. Then the artificial bubble, impurity, and crack defects were detected and studied, and the basin insulator with crack fault in practical field application was carried out off-line detection. The results show that the reconstructed peak image based on laser ultrasonic peak reconstruction algorithm can better reflect the defect information of basin insulator in scanning interval, which proves that this method can realize the off-line detection of surface crack defect on the basin insulator.

基于激光超声技术研究了一种表面波的峰值重建算法,搭建二维激光激励扫描式激光超声检测盆式绝缘子的实验平台,对人工制作的气泡、杂质、裂纹缺陷进行检测研究,并对实际现场应用中带有裂纹故障的盆式绝缘子进行离线检测。结果表明:基于激光超声峰值重建算法重建的峰值图像能够较好地反映扫描区间盆式绝缘子的缺陷信息,证实了该方法可以实现对盆式绝缘子表面裂纹缺陷的离线检测。

基于激光超声技术研究了一种表面波的峰值重建算法,搭建二维激光激励扫描式激光超声检测盆式绝缘子的实验平台,对人工制作的气泡、杂质、裂纹缺陷进行检测研究,并对实际现场应用中带有裂纹故障的盆式绝缘子进行离线检测。结果表明:基于激光超声峰值重建算法重建的峰值图像能够较好地反映扫描区间盆式绝缘子的缺陷信息,证实了该方法可以实现对盆式绝缘子表面裂纹缺陷的离线检测。

On the basis of laser ultrasonic technology, a peak reconstruction algorithm of surface wave was studied, and an experimental platform of two-dimensional laser excitation scanning laser ultrasonic detection for basin insulators was built. Then the artificial bubble, impurity, and crack defects were detected and studied, and the basin insulator with crack fault in practical field application was carried out off-line detection. The results show that the reconstructed peak image based on laser ultrasonic peak reconstruction algorithm can better reflect the defect information of basin insulator in scanning interval, which proves that this method can realize the off-line detection of surface crack defect on the basin insulator.

气体绝缘金属封闭开关(gas insulated metal-enclosed switchgear,GIS)设备由于其集成化结构、可靠性高、维护方便、占地面积小等优点,广泛应用于我国的电力系统中[1-5]。盆式绝缘子是GIS中不可缺少的重要部件,起到绝缘、隔离气室、支撑和固定的作用,主要由金属嵌件、外法兰和环氧树脂材料组成[6-7]。绝缘子的安全性能决定着整个GIS设备能否稳定安全运行,当其结构有损伤时,会出现局部放电的现象,甚至导致绝缘击穿,危及电力系统安全,严重时会造成大面积停电事故,导致不可估量的损失[8-10]。因此对于盆式绝缘子的缺陷检测对保证电力系统的安全运行、延长电力设备的使用寿命有着重大意义。
目前对于盆式绝缘子的缺陷检测方法主要分为电学检测法和非电学检测法[11-14],电学检测法主要包括脉冲电流法和超高频法,非电学检测法主要有局部超声检测法,出厂检测也常用X光成像技术检测[15-17]。脉冲电流法可以对局部放电进行定量检测,但容易受到外界电磁干扰,因此该方法主要用于实验室中;超高频法是通过检测放电量间接反映缺陷情况,检测灵敏度虽然可达0.5 pC,而且能够有效避开外界电磁干扰的影响,但对检测人员的熟练程度依赖性很强,不仅消耗大量人力物力,在测试精度和效率方面也存在很大劣势,而且无法发现微裂纹;局部超声检测法是通过外置超声传感器对盆式绝缘子进行检测,属于一种接触式检测方法,且超声换能器激励受检测目标表面粗糙度和形状的影响,因此对现场盆式绝缘子进行检测存在一定的局限性。激光超声是一种非接触式无损检测方法,具有宽带、高灵敏度和高空间分辨率等优点,被广泛应用于检测表面和内部缺陷[18-19]。考虑到激光超声的宽带和高频特征,理论上可以检测毫米级甚至微米级的缺陷,与高速扫描相结合,可以实现超声波的可视化,突显缺陷信息[19-21]
激光超声技术通过脉冲激光照射到材料表面,由于受热膨胀产生弹性波,在材料表面产生的表面波有很强的指向性,可对材料表面裂纹进行检测。曾伟[22]采用扫查式激光超声检测技术对奥氏体不锈钢及铝合金材料中存在的缺陷进行可视化检测,利用纵波检测技术提取纵波最大峰值实现了对不同宽度、不同深度表面缺陷的定量检测,并提出了Wigner-Ville分析算法和基于快速离散的正弦变换算法对材料缺陷的尺寸分布进行检测。李海洋等[23]根据激光超声在表面缺陷处的透射/反射阈值现象,提出了基于临界频率测量表面缺陷深度的方法,实现了铝合金材料的表面波激发与接收,并采用临界频率法实现了样品表面缺陷的深度检测。贾广福[24]对金属表面缺陷深度的定量表征方法和缺陷的定位及可视化方法进行研究,提出了基于反射回波中心频率、反射回波小波包频带能量和透射波频域畸变特征的缺陷深度定量表征3种分析方法,实现了对金属表面缺陷深度的信息定量评价。
目前关于激光超声技术对表面缺陷检测的研究主要集中在金属材料,对复合材料的缺陷检测研究较少,对GIS盆式绝缘子的激光超声检测研究更少。本文针对盆式绝缘子用复合材料,研究一种激光超声表面波峰值重建算法,以实现盆式绝缘子缺陷的定量表征。
激光超声检测的物理过程如图1所示,为实现被测物体的无损检测,高强短脉冲激光照射到被测物体表面,由于激光脉冲与被测物体表面的瞬时热作用,通过热弹效应在物体表面产生应变和应力场,进而在被测材料内部产生超声波。其物理过程可以用热源函数Q(r,t)进行等效,激发过程可用传热方程(式(1))和考虑热效应的位移场方程(式(2))表示。

式(1)~(2)中:ρ为固体密度;C为比热容;T(r,t)为温度场;κ为固体的热传导率;Q(r,t)定义为单位体积、单位时间吸收的激光能量;r为空间变量;t为时间变量;λμ为材料的拉梅常数;u为位移场;α为热膨胀系数。
由矢量分析中亥姆霍兹定理可知,一个矢量场可以写成一个标量场的梯度和一个矢量场的旋度之和,因此位移场u(r,t)可以写成式(3)[25]

式(7)、(8)均为固体声场的波动方程,式(7)为纵波波动方程,传播速度为纵波波速;式(8)为横波波动方程,传播速度为横波波速,位移偏振方向与传播方向垂直。与金属材料相比,盆式绝缘子为环氧树脂材料,其高频声衰减系数大[26],传播速度慢。经测试,纵波波速大约为3 500 m/s,表面波波速大约为1 750 m/s,为获取高分辨率的缺陷信息,需采用MHz的高频超声探头作为接收探头,但考虑高频超声在盆式绝缘子内部的高衰减特性,因此本研究采用100 kHz低频超声探头与激光脉冲激励扫描相结合方式实现盆式绝缘子检测。
图2所示为激光超声检测实验系统,整个系统均由计算机进行控制,控制激光器的发射部分可改变激光的能量、扫描频率等参数,通过控制二维扫描镜能够改变激光扫描区域的位置和大小,采集卡收集到的数据通过计算机进行处理能够得到直观的重建图像。
该系统主要由3部分组成:激光发射单元、超声信号接收单元和信号处理与控制单元。激光发射单元采用的激光源是美国Photonics Industries公司DS系列的空冷二极管泵浦调Q固态Nd:YLF激光器,利用激光腔内锁模、激光器阵的定时激发、Bragg声光调制技术,通过调节偏振控制器实现脉冲的波长调谐,并采用光纤相阵技术实现波长为1 064 nm、最大重复频率为3 kHz、脉宽为30 ns的激光脉冲,二维扫描镜用于实现绝缘子表面的区域扫描,超声接收单元采用日本富士公司的FUJICERA-AE104S型谐振频率为100 kHz的低频超声探头;信号处理及控制单元一方面用于实现对激光器和二维扫描镜的同步控制,另一方面利用前置放大器和滤波模块实现接收信号的高信噪比采集。实际检测中接收探头固定,激光扫描区域为被检测目标的整个区域,理论上该方法不会存在漏扫情况,但是为了提高检测信号的信噪比,扫描区域与接收探头之间的距离应保持在激光超声传输信号可接收的信号信噪比范围内,同时对于已知目标体的检测可以利用无缺陷的绝缘子作为背景信号,与被测目标绝缘子差分消除环境噪声的影响。
本研究最大振幅峰值重建算法是基于逐列扫描激励方式提出的,图3为激光超声激励检测示意图,具体扫描方式如图4所示:从左下角处以(1,1)(1,2)(1,3)……(1,Ny)坐标向上扫描,再向右移动,依次以(2,1)、(2,2)……(2,Ny)坐标向上扫描,如此循环一直扫描到(Nx,Ny)坐标,向上移动间隔为dy,向右移动间隔为dx,可得到总的扫描区域内,x方向长度为xL=(Nx-1)dxy方向长度为yL=(Ny-1)dy,总扫描的点数为N=Nx×Ny
谐振式探头放置在绝缘子表面,并利用耦合剂与被测绝缘子进行耦合,探头在固定位置检测。实验前对整个扫描区域进行粗扫,确定探头能够接收到扫描区域内各个激励点产生的超声波信号,探头接收到的信号通过放大、滤波处理,得到扫描区域中每个激励点的信号波形,当扫描区域内存在缺陷时,接收到的波形峰值会发生变化,根据声学互易性,激励点位置处激光激发的超声波被探头接收,与探头位置激发的超声波被激光激励点位置接收到的超声波可以等效,理论上每个激励位置点在检测位置处提取的超声信号可以视为检测探头位置处单点激发的超声波,被扫描区域内不同激励点位置处的探头接收,对接收到的超声波信号依据扫描区间的扫描坐标提取有效范围内的峰值信号,即可得到被扫描区间的峰值图像,此图像可反映缺陷信息。因此理论上当扫描区间覆盖整个被测目标表面时,就不会存在漏检现象。
图5为由河北平高电气股份有限公司绝缘分厂生产的电压等级为220 kV的GIS盆式绝缘子实物图,为验证激光超声检测绝缘子表面缺陷的可行性,本研究在盆式绝缘子表面制作了不同类型的缺陷,用于模拟现场运行盆式绝缘子中产生的缺陷,如图6所示,其中图6(a)为直径约为1 mm的气泡缺陷,图6(b)为直径约为2 mm的杂质缺陷,图6(c)为宽度为5 mm、长度为20 mm、深度为5 mm的裂纹缺陷。
分别对不同类型绝缘子缺陷进行激光扫描检测,利用耦合剂将100 kHz谐振式探头与盆式绝缘子表面耦合,并保持探头固定,将激光器能量设置为2 mJ,重复频率设置为1 kHz,当缺陷位于矩形扫描区域时,得到包含缺陷信息的扫描区间峰值图像。
图7(a)为激光扫描区间包含气泡缺陷时得到的峰值图像,图7(b)为相应的X射线扫描图像。从图7可以看出,如果能精确获取扫描区间的坐标,则可实现扫描范围内缺陷信息的精确定位,与X射线图像对比,虽然对比度还有待提高,但是作为一种无损且无辐射技术,通过提高激光能量,有望获得更高对比度的图像。图8(a)为激光扫描区间包含杂质缺陷时得到的峰值图像,该图像是与相同位置无缺陷时获得的超声波信号进行差分处理后获得的,与图7(a)对比,图像的质量明显提高。图9(a)图7(a)中的峰值图像都是没有经过任何处理的原始图像,虽然能反映出缺陷信息,但是其直达波的干扰却很明显,图9(a)受干扰尤为明显。对图7(a)8(a)9(a)中重建的峰值图像尺寸与实际缺陷尺寸进行对比,结果如表1所示。从表1可以看出,图像检测结果显示气泡缺陷的直径约为1.3 mm,杂质缺陷的直径约为2.5 mm,裂纹缺陷宽度约为6 mm、长度约为17 mm,其中裂纹和杂质缺陷检测结果的相对误差均小于30%。气泡缺陷的相对误差为30%,气泡缺陷检测的相对误差较大,主要原因在于当超声信号经过气泡缺陷时受到气泡缺陷边界曲面以及气泡与绝缘子材料声阻抗差异性的影响,导致误差增大。
实际运行GIS盆式绝缘子发生故障的主要原因之一是裂纹缺陷,如某500 kV GIS发生事故就是由于内部裂纹导致盆式绝缘子击穿,从而影响电力系统的运行[26]。裂纹的形成原因比较复杂,包括在生产固化过程中温度发生变化、运输过程中受力不均匀或者运输环境的温差变化以及使用过程中外界机械的挤压导致绝缘子的内部承受应力突变等都可能产生内部裂纹[27],因此对于盆式绝缘子的裂纹缺陷检测至关重要。
图10为山西省太原市某变电站220 kV故障盆式绝缘子实物图,该盆式绝缘子因使用过程中外部受力不均匀导致其表面产生一条宽度约为0.8 mm的长裂纹,裂纹缺陷造成了严重的放电现象。现场拆卸后在实验室中对该盆式绝缘子进行激光超声扫描实验,当扫描区域包含裂纹时,扫描检测后重建的峰值图像如图11所示。由于裂纹导致超声波在扫描区域裂纹两侧的幅值相差较大,最大振幅图中出现的颜色分界线即为裂纹。对重建的裂纹图像进行测量,测得重建裂纹宽度约为1 mm,但因为采用的是平面超声探头,而且激励的激光能量只有2 mJ,所以超声探头接收到的有效信号主要是表面波信号,导致检测到的仅为扫描区域的表面缺陷信息。对于宽度只有0.8 mm的裂纹,考虑到表面波波速大约为1 750 m/s,若采用传统的超声回波法要想实现0.8 mm的分辨率,超声频率至少要达到 1 MHz,而本研究采用微米扫描步长的激励激光和100 kHz的谐振式探头相结合方式即可实现了对0.8 mm级别缺陷的检测。
(1)利用实验室人工缺陷进行实验,验证了激光超声峰值重建算法的可行性,该算法可以重建盆式绝缘子表面的气泡、杂质、裂纹等缺陷,重建的图像误差不大于30%。
(2)对实际现场应用中带有裂纹故障的盆式绝缘子进行离线检测验证,结果表明基于激光扫描激励与谐振式超声探头固定检测相结合的激励检测模式,利用峰值图像算法能够较好地反映盆式绝缘子扫描区域的缺陷。
