In order to improve the comprehensive performance of bisphenol A epoxy resin (DGEBA), bisphenol A epoxy resin was modified by alicyclic epoxy resin through blending, and the thermal, mechanical and electrical properties of the blending system were comprehensively analyzed. The results show that when the mass fraction of alicyclic epoxy resin 2021P is 10%, the blending system have better thermal, mechanical and electrical properties. Compared with the pure bisphenol A epoxy resin, the glass transition temperature of the blending system increases by 3.18%, and the bending strength and tensile strength increase by 3.95% and 4.65%, respectively. The leakage current decreases by 6.03%, the dielectric loss factor decreases by 24.25%, and the power frequency electric strength increases by 7.16%.

为了提高双酚A环氧树脂(DGEBA)的综合性能,采用脂环族环氧树脂共混改性双酚A环氧树脂,并对共混体系的热、力学和电气性能进行综合分析。结果表明:当脂环族环氧树脂2021P的质量分数为10%时,共混体系的热-力-电综合性能较好,相比于纯双酚A环氧树脂,此时共混体系的玻璃化转变温度升高了3.18%,弯曲强度和拉伸强度分别提高了3.95%和4.65%,泄漏电流降低了6.03%,介质损耗因数减小了24.25%,工频电气强度提高了7.16%。

为了提高双酚A环氧树脂(DGEBA)的综合性能,采用脂环族环氧树脂共混改性双酚A环氧树脂,并对共混体系的热、力学和电气性能进行综合分析。结果表明:当脂环族环氧树脂2021P的质量分数为10%时,共混体系的热-力-电综合性能较好,相比于纯双酚A环氧树脂,此时共混体系的玻璃化转变温度升高了3.18%,弯曲强度和拉伸强度分别提高了3.95%和4.65%,泄漏电流降低了6.03%,介质损耗因数减小了24.25%,工频电气强度提高了7.16%。

In order to improve the comprehensive performance of bisphenol A epoxy resin (DGEBA), bisphenol A epoxy resin was modified by alicyclic epoxy resin through blending, and the thermal, mechanical and electrical properties of the blending system were comprehensively analyzed. The results show that when the mass fraction of alicyclic epoxy resin 2021P is 10%, the blending system have better thermal, mechanical and electrical properties. Compared with the pure bisphenol A epoxy resin, the glass transition temperature of the blending system increases by 3.18%, and the bending strength and tensile strength increase by 3.95% and 4.65%, respectively. The leakage current decreases by 6.03%, the dielectric loss factor decreases by 24.25%, and the power frequency electric strength increases by 7.16%.

环氧树脂凭借其优异的力学性能、良好的热稳定性和绝缘性能,在电气绝缘领域获得了广泛应用。双酚A环氧树脂由双酚A与环氧氯丙烷在氢氧化钠的催化作用下制得,原材料来源方便、生产工艺简单,因此在环氧树脂中产量最大,约占环氧树脂总产量的85%以上,应用也相应最为广泛。双酚A环氧树脂同时还具有工艺性好的优点,其固化物具有很高的机械强度和粘接强度,以及较高的耐腐蚀性和电气性能[1-6]
随着社会的发展,环氧树脂在电子电气、胶黏剂、浇注料、灌封料、粉末涂料等领域需要大量使用,面对电气工程领域电压等级的提升及越来越复杂的绝缘环境,对环氧树脂的热-力-电综合性能提出了更高要求[2,7-8]。而双酚A环氧树脂中含有羟基等极性基团,大部分固化物存在耐高温性能差、耐候性较差的问题,需要对其进行改性。
目前,对环氧树脂改性的研究主要有两个方向[9]:一是开发具有高耐热性、高绝缘性的新型环氧树脂聚合物或固化剂,如向树脂中导入新的官能团、苯环等结构;二是利用共混的方式,将传统环氧树脂与耐热聚合物材料、填料等共混共聚,使共混物性能达到最优的平衡态,如利用热塑性聚合物、有机硅等。此外,还可以改变环氧树脂反应的温度、时间、促进剂等条件,利用其官能团的特性,增大环氧树脂的交联度,形成互穿聚合物网络等,以提高环氧树脂的各项性能。
脂环族环氧树脂是指含有两个或多个脂环族环氧基的化合物,其中环氧基通过氧化法形成。脂环族环氧树脂含有环己烷基团,不含双键,且分子结构中的环氧基直接连接在环己烷上,因此其化学性质较稳定,具有耐侯性好、电绝缘性能优异、耐热性高、工艺性能好等优点[10]。然而,脂环族环氧树脂的生产制备工艺复杂,成本较高,限制了脂环族环氧树脂的发展,不利于大规模推广。将脂环族环氧树脂与双酚A环氧树脂共混,对降低环氧树脂生产成本、提升环氧树脂的综合性能具有重要意义。
目前,国内外利用脂环族环氧树脂对双酚A环氧树脂改性的研究已取得了大量成果。国内外学者研究发现,引入脂环族环氧树脂能显著提高该环氧体系的耐热性、耐电弧、耐电痕化以及高温粘结等性能[11-14]。何少波等[10]研究发现,当脂环族环氧树脂的质量分数为10%时,共混环氧体系的力学性能达到最佳状态。火文君等[15]通过研究脂环族环氧树脂与双酚A环氧树脂共混后树脂的冲击强度、漆膜粘附力等性能,发现随脂环族环氧树脂用量的增加,共混树脂的综合性能呈现先升高后降低的变化趋势。
本研究采用双酚A环氧树脂与脂环族环氧树脂2021P进行共混,对共混后的环氧体系进行热学性能、力学性能测试,分析脂环族环氧树脂含量对共混体系热-力-电综合性能的影响规律,以期在保持环氧树脂共混体系力学性能的同时,提高其耐热性能和绝缘性能。
双酚A环氧树脂E-51(DGEBA)、脂环族环氧树脂2021P、固化剂甲基六氢苯酐(MHHPA)、DMP-30型环氧固化促进剂材料等,浙江省开化七一电力器材有限责任公司。图1为脂环族环氧树脂2021P的结构式。如图1所示,2021P型脂环族环氧树脂是一种分子结构中含有两个脂环族环氧基和1个缩水酯基的3官能团环氧树脂,环氧值较高,黏度较低。由于缩水酯基具有较高的反应活性,2021P环氧树脂既具有脂环族环氧树脂的优良特性,又具有高于一般脂环族环氧树脂的反应活性。
根据DGEBA和2021P的质量,可由式(1)计算出固化剂MHHPA的添加量。

式(1)中:M(MHHPA)是MHHPA的质量,168为MHHPA的酸酐当量;M(DGEBA)是DGEBA的质量,196为DGEBA的环氧当量;M(2021P)是2021P的质量,130为2021P的环氧当量;0.85为根据经验所得的修正系数。
表1为共混体系各组分理论添加量,其中共混比例为DGEBA和2021P的质量比。经式(1)计算得知,不同质量比例下,固化剂添加量相近(从表1可知,MHHPA的添加量为72.86~91.00 g,均在80%左右),根据经验[10],取固化剂的添加量为两种树脂混合后总质量的80%。
首先,将2021P与E-51环氧树脂按质量比分别为10∶0、9∶1、8∶2、7∶3进行共混,再加入树脂总质量80%的MHHPA,最后加入质量分数为0.5%的促进剂DMP-30(以固化剂和树脂总质量为基础),在60℃的条件下水浴加热搅拌均匀,之后在温度为60℃的真空干燥箱中真空脱泡处理10 min。将真空脱泡后的混合液注入经脱模处理并预热的模具中,进行二次真空脱泡处理。最后,放入真空干燥箱中高温固化,固化工艺为100℃/2 h+130℃/2 h+150℃/2 h,得到2021P/E-51共混聚合物。图2为双酚A环氧树脂E-51和脂环族环氧树脂2021P分别发生固化反应的原理图。
玻璃化转变温度可有效表征试样的热稳定性。利用DSC200PC型差示热量扫描仪(德国耐驰仪器公司)测量并分析环氧树脂的热稳定性。将固化树脂剪成小块,并取15~20 mg的样品置于Al2O3坩埚中,以10℃/min的升温速率在氮气气氛中进行测试,测试温度范围为30~175℃。
利用万能拉力试验机(CMT6104型,济南星火试验机有限公司)测试并分析固化树脂的力学性能。拉伸试验按照ISO 527-2-2012的要求,试样尺寸中部宽度为10 mm,标距为50 mm,载荷加载速率为5 mm/min;弯曲试验按照ISO 178-2010的要求,试样尺寸为80 mm×15 mm×4 mm,跨距为64 mm,载荷加载速率为2 mm/min。为了保证试验结果的准确性,每类试样均测试10组有效数据并取平均值。
按照IEC 60243-1-2013的要求,采用图3所示的球形电极进行试验,并将电极置于装有二甲基硅油的透明容器中,以阻断由于电压上升在试样表面发生的沿面闪络,从而确保试样只在与球形电极触点处击穿。以恒定升压速率2 kV/s加压,直至材料发生击穿。试样为均匀的方形薄板,厚度为1 mm,避免由于薄板表面的不平整导致击穿场强不垂直于薄板。测试时在试样上随机取9个点,并分别测量各点的厚度,利用威布尔分布对试验结果进行统计分析。
利用YG9100型全自动抗干扰精密介质损耗测试仪(上海杨高电器有限公司)进行测试,高压西林电桥正接,测试温度为25℃,电压频率为50 Hz。
按照DL/T 1580—2016的要求,将经水扩散处理后的试样夹于图4所示的平板电极进行试验。以1 kV/s的恒定速率升压至12 kV,待电流数值稳定后,记录10 s之内的泄漏电流值。
图5是不同比例脂环族环氧树脂和双酚A环氧树脂共混体系在10℃/min升温速率下的DSC曲线。由图5可知,固化反应的特征温度与脂环族环氧树脂占比有很大关系[16]。固化反应的DSC曲线在200℃以下只有一个明显的放热过程,说明2021P/E-51共混体系的相容性较好,可以共混成均一体系。在120~150℃,DSC曲线有明显台阶,在比热容变化的范围内,取DSC曲线的拐点所对应的温度为2021P/E-51的玻璃化转变温度,如表2所示。
对于热固性环氧树脂而言,玻璃化转变温度(Tg)的高低是衡量环氧树脂综合性能优劣的一个重要指标,可表征在一定温度下材料的机械强度和抗形变性能[17]。由表2可知,随着2021P含量的增多,Tg整体呈现先上升后下降的趋势,当2021P的质量分数为10%时,Tg最高为136.3℃,相较于未改性的E-51环氧树脂提高了3.18%。当2021P质量分数≥20%时,Tg均小于纯E-51的Tg,当2021P质量分数为30%时,Tg达到最低值125.9℃。随着2021P含量的进一步增多(质量分数为40%),Tg略有回升,但仍处于较低水平。随着2021P的引入,共混体系的环氧含量和交联密度增大,使Tg上升,材料机械强度和抗形变性能提升。但当2021P含量超过临界值20%时,由于2021P分子的结构聚集,不易交联形成长链,因而共混体系分子链的自由度升高,导致Tg降低。
脂环族环氧树脂2021P的用量对共混体系弯曲强度和拉伸强度的影响如图67所示。
从图67可以看出,共混体系弯曲强度与拉伸强度的变化趋势相近,均随着脂环族环氧树脂2021P质量分数的增加呈现先上升后下降的趋势。从图6可以看出,当脂环族环氧树脂的质量分数≤10%时,共混体系的弯曲强度随着2021P质量分数的增加而增大。当2021P的质量分数达到10%时,共混体系的弯曲强度达到最大值,为26.57 MPa,高于纯E51环氧树脂的弯曲强度(25.56 MPa),提高了约3.95%;而当2021P的质量分数大于10%时,随着质量分数的增加,共混体系的弯曲强度显著降低。经分析发现,脂环族环氧树脂的环氧基团直接连接在脂环上,分子链刚性较大,适量的引入2021P环氧树脂,可使分子链段刚性增强。但当2021P含量超过临界值时(质量分数为20%),由于2021P分子较DGEBA分子结构更为聚集,不易形成长链,所以过多刚性分子的引入会使共混体系的脆性增大,从而导致环氧树脂的弯曲强度下降。此外,当2021P含量较大时,固化剂加入量偏少可能会使共混体系的交联密度下降,在后续的研究中将进一步探究固化剂使用量对共混体系力学性能的影响。
图7可以看出,当2021P质量分数为10%时,共混体系的拉伸强度最大,达到79.68 MPa,相较于纯E51环氧树脂的拉伸强度(76.14 MPa)提升了约4.65%;当2021P含量进一步增大,共混体系的拉伸强度呈降低趋势,当2021P质量分数为40%时,拉伸强度为56.63 MPa,仅为纯E51环氧树脂的74.38%。
对比热、力学试验数据可知,共混体系的拉伸强度、弯曲强度与其DSC曲线显示的变化趋势相一致,进一步证明了当2021P引入量约占树脂总质量的10%时,2021P/E-51共混体系的热学性能和力学性能最好。
在升压速率为1 kV/s,设定电压为12 kV,保压时间为60 s下,脂环族环氧树脂的含量对2021P/E-51共混体系泄漏电流的影响如图8所示。
图8可以看出,当2021P质量分数≤13%时,随着2021P含量的增加,泄漏电流由34.05 μA下降至32.00 μA,相较于纯E51环氧树脂下降了6.03%。当脂环族质量分数>13%时,随着2021P质量分数的进一步增加,泄漏电流有所回升,但仍小于纯E-51环氧树脂的泄漏电流,这说明脂环族环氧树脂改善了共混体系的绝缘性能,且在脂环族质量分数为13%左右时,共混体系的绝缘性能较好。泄漏电流反映材料的绝缘电阻,因此绝缘电阻会随着脂环族环氧树脂的引入而先增大后减小。
电介质材料在施加电场后,由于介质电导和介质极化的滞后效应,会产生由泄漏电流引起的漏导损耗和由极化引起的极化损耗,以上特性可用介质损耗因数来表征[18]。而在本研究的共混体系中,介质损耗主要由极性分子的转向极化导致。
2021P含量对共混体系介质损耗因数的影响如图9所示。
图9可以看出,当2021P质量分数≤22%时,随着2021P含量的增加,介质损耗因数由0.364%下降至0.280%,相较于纯E51环氧树脂下降了23.08%。当2021P质量分数>22%时,随着2021P质量分数的进一步增多,介质损耗因数略有回升,但在达到30%时趋于平缓。2021P的环氧基团直接接在脂环上,分子刚性较大,在交联后结构稳固,因此由转向极化产生的介质损耗较小,这说明脂环族环氧树脂改善了共混体系的介电性能,且在2021P质量分数为22%左右时,共混体系的介电性能较好。
对不同质量分数的2021P共混体系进行工频电气强度测试,其63.2%工频电气强度的威布尔分布如图10所示。从图10可以看出,共混体系的工频电气强度随2021P含量的增加呈现先升高后降低的趋势。当2021P的质量分数为20%时,共混体系的工频电气强度由未添加时的44.83 kV升高到48.04 kV,提高了7.16%。随着2021P质量分数进一步增加,达到30%及以上时,工频击电气强度开始逐渐降低,但始终保持高于纯E-51的电气强度。2021P环氧树脂的引入增大了共混体系的交联密度,分子内部间隙小,难以裂化击穿,因此共混体系的电气强度均高于纯E-51环氧树脂的对照组。
共混体系的电气强度也与介质损耗和绝缘电阻有关。随着脂环族环氧树脂含量的增大,共混体系的介质损耗因数先减小后增大。在外界电压的作用下,当产生的热量大于共混体系自身的热量传导时,热量在介质中积累,最终造成击穿。在脂环族环氧树脂2021P质量分数为20%时,共混体系的介质损耗因数较小,产生的热量较少,此时工频电气强度相对较高。由共混体系泄漏电流随着脂环族环氧树脂含量增加而先减小后增大可知,绝缘电阻会随着脂环族环氧树脂的引入先增大后减小。因此,在加压条件下,复合材料介质损耗越小,绝缘电阻越大时,电气强度也越高[19]
(1)适量脂环族环氧树脂的引入能够提升共混体系的玻璃化转变温度,相比于未改性的双酚A环氧树脂,2021P质量分数为10%的共混体系的玻璃化转变温度提高了3.18%,达到136.3℃。
(2)当2021P脂环族环氧树脂的质量分数为10%时,共混体系具有优异的电气性能,热、力学性能均略有改善,热-力-电综合性能较好。当2021P环氧树脂质量分数大于20%时,共混体系的综合性能略有下降,但仍高于纯E51环氧树脂。
